Fast service and extremely knowledgeable staff. Super friendly and clean waiting room. Came in to get a muffler repair and they showed me exactly what the issue was and repaired it quickly. It’s hard to find service this good. Highly recommend

The manager (Sorry I forgot name) was awesome. His customer service and personality is nothing less than phenomenal. He was extremely professional and nice over the phone; the experience in person was even better. Very kool, down to earth and well informed gentlemen! I also have to commend his staff that worked on my car. I forgot the mechanics name, but he was also very knowledgeable and courteous! I will probably use this location for all my car needs. I honestly feel like i made friends with everyone there! Awesome experience and you cant go wrong working with this Meineke or their service!!

Since I moved from NYC it has been hard to find good people. Im African American ct seems not to be to friendly. There are a whole bunch of auto repair shops but I refuse to give my hard time (#pandemic)money to unappreciated people. Great service and most of all awesome characters of people.

Don’t ever use this place it’s terrible they’ll give your car away I stayed in contact with the manager for months letting him know my situation and why I couldn’t come pick the car up at the time I call one day he said someone just came and picked up the car up I said who he dosent know they don’t have cameras at there facility to let you know what happened and what’s going on something is very off about this place that building is a joke within its self you call and they’ll try and just prove a point with you like there kids I thought this was supposed to be a professional business IF YOU WANT A FREE CAR JUST GO TO THAT SPECIFIC BUILDING AND THEYLL HAND YOU ONE WILLING JUST SAY ITS YOURS

I walked in after work to get my ac recharged. They took it in quickly, and did a quick diagnostic test that the dealer said was $250. They had an online coupon for free. They continued to have a lot of customers, and still finished my car as quickly as they could. The staff was very pleasant. I’ll be back for sure.

Just awful at Meriden location. Car sat for over a week. Drove it home then exhaust repair scraping up against back tow bar. Had to bring back 3rd time as brake rattling when fully pressed- they said because front right was bone dry. Why didnt they determine and fix that when doing entire brake repairs I had already paid for. Mickey Mouse operation.

I scheduled an appointment online for four wheel alignment. When arriving at the place I was advices in the future is better to call the shop directly as the system might double the appointment spot. But the shocking surprise when he said that that this location doesnt perform wheel alignment and that theyre aware of the website glitch and been trying to get it fix. So I wasted my time leaving work for nothing.

I brought My Mustang in to get my new Mufflers put on. They took me that day and in a few hours were done. It sounds amazing. Derek and his guy are the best and take good care of you.

It was really bad experience, they asked over $5000, for the problem after diagnostics which was not even there.My car had other problem in engine but not in the hybrid battery as they diagnosed.I called green bean battery llc to change hybrid battries. They confirmed me that my cars hybrid batteries are ok.Really feel like cheated from these peopleIt cost me over $500/- to take meinekes advice.

The guys there are by far the cheapest and are always looking to help you out to the best of their ability. In my case I needed my front brakes done on me 02 cavalier (I had bought the rotors, brake pads, calipers, and brake hoses for this job) and these guys only charged me $200 with taxes included to do the entire job. Where as I got estimates to install all my brake equipment for $4-500 dollars. Not only did they do it for a steal but they did such a great and professional job, I would recommend them to my own mother.

First time going there today just looking for a little help since I couldnt do the job myself having just moved to town. Got me in and out quickly and all the staff were all around nice professional and fun. Earned my respect thank you so much.

My water pump froze and snapped the serpentine belt when my 6-year-old and I were 150 miles from home. It was pouring out when we walked down the road to find a place to call for help. We got very lucky to find this place a block away. Deric, the manager, was absolutely amazing. He understood our situation, prioritized our repair, and even loaned us an umbrella for the walk back to my car.Repair was finished quickly and professionally at a reasonable price. I called to have my shocks replaced on my 2018 Ford F-250 with better quality Bilsteins and they got me in the same day and performed the work within a couple of hours and had me on my way. Excellent customer service, the owner was extremely accommodating and explained everything to me thoroughly. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for service or repairs on their vehicle. I will definitely be back again in the future.

There is no reason why you need to go to another autoshop if you live in Connecticut, they told me the price for a full brake job (Im talking about everything including brand new rotors)with a lifetime warranty and I was like let me go in NOW before that price gets changed. It came in a time trust has failed in some of those BIG CAR DEALERS SERVICES. I was overcharged for replacing four brand new tires including the alignment and they ignored to check my BREAKS STATUS . And just a week later my was due for an oil change and I did emphasize to check my breaks and I was given a printout saying breaks were all ON GREEN.Another week after in a rainy evening on my from work I started hearing some weird knocking sounds from driver’s side front tire, then on the following morning which was a Sunday I rushed to Meineke for a rescue, AND INDEED THEY PERFORMED A SPECTACULAR SERVICE ON MY BREAKS with less cost.So Ladies and Gentlemen if you are looking for a decent place for services please DO NOT HESITATE TO RUN TO MEINEKE CAR CARE CENTERS. This was the easiest repair work that I’ve had done. The shop was organised and on top of everything. They actually called me when they said they would call me and had the repair work done before I expected it. They were great to work with. Car runs great! I have more work to be done and I will be going back here for it.

I made an appointment on the phone with David for 8am. Online states the shop opens at 730am. We arrived at 750am and the shop was not open. 8am comes and He was not there and the shop is still closed. Waited a few minutes and left. Never received a call. I called the shop around 930 to see if anyone ever showed up. David answered and said he arrived a few minutes late just after I must have left. He then proceeded to be disrespectful to my girlfriend and I over the phone at which point I no longer wanted to give him my business. He never once apologized for being late or never calling. One star 🌟

I took a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant that needed an alternator after putting on the alternator the alternator did not work. They got a second one and the same thing happened. They said they were getting a new one in the morning and they would call me back to install it they never did. Im very disappointed with them.

This place is awesome! Since going to this Meineke Meriden, CT location last year, I have never taken my car anywhere else! Despite living 30 mins away from this location, I always make the drive because they have unbeatable customer service and always do great work. I usually have the pleasure of being helped by Derek who is courteous and genuine providing fair and accurate information to help determine the best/most cost effective solution for my needs. They are extremely punctual- always on time for appointments and always available via phone to discuss anything. I made an appointment for (Oil Change) and (Emission) test.I mentioned the ($17.95) oil change per Meinekes online advertisement and the gentlemen on the telephone agreed.Day of appointment I was informed by manager (Michael DAngelo) the oil change price is ($34.95), if I want an oil change thats what Ill be paying or I can go somewhere else. He went on to say he does not need to be dealing with this first thing in the morning during a pandemic and me trying to save a few dollars. He said, if I have a coupon, he will do it; I showed the coupon but he did not care. He laughed and walked away, closing the door behind him. Mr. DAngelo must be going through a lot of stress, many people are, but it is not appropriate to treat potential customers this poorly, or anyone else, he also represents the company he works. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

He asked me if I wanted a full synthetic oil change and I said no seeing as it was $70. So I decided against it. Well he did not listen and he did the full synthetic any ways charging me $80 when I went in there expecting to spend $40. I also hate that they wait till the end to charge my card so that they can screw us over. I usually go to the Wallingford one but they were not open so I went to Meriden. Needless to say I will not be going back to that one again.

These are the type of mechanics that you should just stay away😡 went to go get my AC filled and was told the AC condenser was cracked I went for get a second opinion and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.... just needed to be filled they were trying to sell me a new condenser .....Charge me for labor and charge me to fill it.... these are thieves without masks should get arrested this should be a crime the way they try to take advantage of people..... STAY AWAY!!!!!
