My husband and I needed a wristband for a smart watch. We were approached pretty quickly by a representative to help us out, which was nice (they dont have the best signage for their Android watch accessories). When we asked about the size the rep took the product out of the box so we can see it, but he wouldnt allow us to put it around my husbands wrist (we needed larger than stock size) and he couldnt tell us if it was stock size to begin with.We ended up leaving disappointed and without a wristband. This location seems to be more of an online order pick-up building with minimal inventory compared to a normal Best Buy.
A lot of empty shelves and everyday items people need like phone chargers for android. Best Buy brand charging cords seem to die fast or get shorts in them real quick. Customer service was ok. This new store is not as good as the store that closed last year.
Clean employees were friendly interested in helping you and had a good knowledge of the products they sold and the technology around them

This Best buy is very small for a Best buy but on the bright side they still have a decent selection and the people are very friendly. For the smallest Best buy Ive ever been at this is definitely one of the better ones.
Much smaller sales floor than their previous location, so there are compromises everywhere. Most interesting and useful is the cell phone display at the front door, but beyond that there is little that would draw me to this store again.

I lost my AirPod case and Apple sent me here to get a new case and they told me it would take about three days. I went back about a week later and they told me they were ready and to give them another 4 days. I went back about 6 days later and they told me they still didn’t have them. It’s been over two weeks and they didn’t even give me an estimated day to go back to pick them up. On top of that they made me pay before I got my earphones back so now I’m out 100 dollars and no air pods
I recently went to Best Buy in Merced and went in with a printer issue. I had no appointment but I was helped by the Geek Squad Manager sadly I forgot her name but she lives in Lathrop and commutes to Merced. Anyhow she was kind and patient and had awesome customer service skills. Would recommend her service to anyone. Herself and her helper are highly recommended
Went in today to get a replacement for my daughters Dell laptop charger. The person who helped us, Dawn, helped us find the price that was not only within our budget but quite a bit below our budgetary guidelines. She was so helpful and she just was amazingly friendly and helpful, and I know that uses helpful twice but I dont care cuz thats how helpful she was three times, that I just cant recommend her enough!!So, to Dawn the amazing person at Best Buy, YOU MADE OUR DAY! I was pretty disappointed with the new Best Buy of Merced. I dont think its half the store as the previous store. Its like a mini best buy.
Geek Squad Mobile Warranty Plan is bogus, no wonder why the left Merced. Buy the plan for $129.99 and if you have phone issues you pay $119.99 for a mid range mobile price. Save yourself the money, and pass up on this option. Additionally, the laptop purchased here is worthless. Out of all the purchases over the last five years only one electronic device was decent.

Ive been in and out of this Best Buy regularly for the last 10 years..CDs, video games, a microwave, 3 iPhones, and just last night a Canon Camera.The staff was around, a couple ignored us, but Christian helped us out and talked to us about options and was really helpful and polite. If it werent for him and his cheerful and honest attitude I wouldnt even be taking the time to write this review!! He was courteous, polite, and really knowledgeable about the cameras and other services in the Best Buy store. He gets 5 stars and should be teaching the other employees how to interact with customers because he made the experience fun and enjoyable.
Amazing customer service! I took my laptop in for a trade in, and was going off of an online quote. They ended up giving me more money back based on them determining what my device was really worth. Definitely reccomend you take your old computers here and get some cash instead of just throwing them away or recycling.
I had a terrible experience buying phone from them. I went in to purchase a Galaxy note 10 plus Aura Glow and Aura White during their Bogo deal. I also purchased a Google Pixel out right. After 5 hours, They sent me home without explaining anything. Nor the screen protectors they promised and come to find out, With the wrong phone. I called to let them know and they ask me to keep the phone while they get the aura glow in and offered a free cell phone case. A day later I dropped the blue phone and they refused to return the phone. Which led me to finding out that at the time of purchase they also canceled my cell phone insurance. And denied having offered me a free case and screen protectors! Never again!
The Best Buy staff are always so helpful. In my experience they have always done a price match for a like product on sale at another store / online store. I just did this today and they even checked for better deals they could match on items I was getting without me prompting them! Ive always had an easy time with returns as well.
They are great. I go in not really knowing what Im looking for to fix my Wifi problems and I walk out with a solution that works. They are a class act with very courteous professional people. No, I dont work there and yes this is an honest posting.
Im not very tech savvy, so I loved the way the employees at Best buy were so helpful. Needed a ring rechargeable battery. Shopping was easy. They actually helped me save money, not only through price match but by getting what I needed immediately I didnt have to walk around the store getting things I didnt need.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Arrogant and clueless staff, especially a couple of women working at the customer service. Also, Best buy has a terrible rewards system which doesnt give you the promised reward even after 40 days. The employees here will put their hands up and pass the issue to the customer care support which can be described as being worse than a 3rd grade airline agency based off on a mid-west Pacific island.Never going to shop here again and feed this slimey corporate chain, even if I have to pay the extra $$.
I love the layout and design changes they recently made. You can actually view the whole store as soon as you walk in because they lowered the high of the product aisles. Gives it a much more open feel. Great customer service here!

Ordered and paid for a ram stick since it was out of stock. Was told it would arrive on Monday, did not receive any text regarding order. Went to the store in person and customer service said shipment should be there later the day. Checked online and product is available in store but still have not received any text about order ready for pick up. Called them about 6 times at 8pm before closing and no one answered and kept hanging up. How many workers are there and no one cannot answer the phone!!!! Frustrating!!!!

Geek squad couldnt fix my computer. It was a simple m2 drive install instead they were trying to sell me data recovery over $1000. I went home and after a few minutes of research I fixed it myself.
Ive been going to this Best Buy for years, i love going here whenver they have sales, the staff is friendly and helpful. One thing i dont like is that the staff isnt as helpful when you call in, theres long wait times when calling in. Its so much easier to deal with them in person. They can also change the ventilation in the building, sometimes if its packed it smells like the weight room at the gym at the end of the day.
Ive always been treated well at this BestBuy in the many years weve shopped here. With the closing of some many bricks and mortar stores Im happy that BestBuy has managed to maintain a physical retail footprint, especially in the competitive world of technology goods. Ive found the pricing to be fair and the ability to pick up things quickly without having to wait for shipping is so satisfying. The employees here have always been eager to help and though this site is a smaller store, theres usually a workaround for shipping to the customer or the store. The store is kept clean and is in an easily reached shopping center. Even with the younger help that works there Ive never been treated as an out of touch senior.
The Clovis store is great for customer service. I go there on a regular basis and they always treat me right and as long as you treat them with resoect they will do the same to you. They price match really quickly and painlessly and they always have my online orders ready when they say they will.

This is a good place to go if your looking to browse tech, their selections of Televisions and home stereo systems are very wide. They have stuff for gamers, although their computer section is a little lacking, and their tech guys can be a little aggressive in their explanations of things. Overall a good experience start to finish, but quite broad

Customer Service was amazing they were very professional about helping me find my new laptop and they helped me make sure that laptop would last me at least four years threw college and never slow down on. It was one of best experiences I have had in while usually I find employees at stores like target and Wal-Mart who really dont care about there jobs and really dont want to help the customers and I was originally worried this would happen at best buy but I was wrong the employee that helped me was incredibly passionate about his job and really showed when he was explaining the laptops that whould be the best use for me and I enjoyed it. This will definitely be my go to store for electronics for the near future.
Good place to find a good selection of gadgets. The stock is somewhat limited though. Still the customer service and professional advice from the clerks and technicians is up to the task.
I usually try to stay away from Best Buy but today I went in out of desperation for an inexpensive laptop. My CSR, I believe his name is Ivan in the computer Department helped me out and so far I am satisfied with the laptop especially based on the price that I paid. I was sure that I have a 15 day return policy and as they have a lot of open-box items, I believe them. I dont always find the Best Buy employees most helpful to be truthful,but he was great. Kudos to him and I hope the manager sees his review. Respectful and helpful young man

Customer service by Geek Squad manager is not there, if you are going to make a purchase and you have a manufacture defect, be prepared for them to charge you for services that shouldnt be charged because it is a manufacture defective. If you do an exchange they will charge you for a data transfer when the product they sold you was defective. BE CAREFUL!!!

OK this store is big and clean. They had some good sales. The selection is you basic store. At least the workers are friendly and willing to assist and answer questions. They will find someone if they cant. There appliances are over priced a bit. But you can always score floor models. Will be back again soon to shop
I purchased a 256 GB iPhone X max. While I had a coupon for $100 gift card with the purchase of any iPhone X or x max. I didn’t get the coupon scanned when I made the purchase but I had come back 4 days later and they would not honor their coupon even though the coupon was still good. It is very frustrating especially since I am a elite member and have spent thousands of dollars on iPhones Mac books and TVs at their store.

New verizon customer, 2 new samsung note 10 phones, one of the phone has an issue - when you receive a text it will not beep, nothing. took it here since we ahve geek squad as the insurance, employee backed up the files (pics and contacts), reboot my phone and now ive lost all my photos and contacts, text messaging is still not working. Went back to geek squad and still couldnt verify or give me any information. you would think that they will work with the manufacturer themselves since were paying a monthly insurance for this? so now were on the phone dealing with samsung, samsung asked what did the geek squad so to troubleshoot the phone and where did they back up the files and data to? called geek squad to confirm again, the employee couldnt answer any of those questions. I asked him how are we going to find out? he still couldnt help me. 1.pointless to go in because no one remembers or knows. 2.he mentioned we dont really fix phones only computers. 3.customer service is what keeps your business going, at least offer and help call samsung when were already paying insurance monthly on a brand new phone. disappointed.
Awesome. Someone helped me quick and they price matched something for me without a hassle. Before I aksed for a price match one employee really helped me with trying to find a cheaper replacement. I went with the more expensive item but it was nice to know all of my options and that he was willing to help me find something cheaper.

Store is clean an has plenty of employees however majority are lacking in where items are or if they have them. There has been plenty of times we have went in there needing something only to be told they would have to order it, after looking around for a bit we would find what we needed.They need more tech savvy employees. Also not impresses with how they have arranged the cell phone area.
The customer service is great, if an item you are interested in isnt in stock the staff helps order the exact item you want online. Their staff is really well informed on their products also, which is a huge help!
Beware when purchasing a phone here. I purchased a phone here for my mom for Christmas. We bought an unlocked phone that was compatible with AT&T. It was the Blu Vivo Xi+. I was told we could just switch the SIM card and it should be up and running. Today is 01/02 and since Christmas we have been having issues with the phone. It said there was no sim and had absolutely no service whatsoever. At first we thought it was our cellphone provider so we have been bugging AT&T. We’ve called and went in on many different occasions and even got a new SIM card. They ran a couple of tests and finally we were told it was the phone itself. As soon as we popped the sim back into our old phone, the service was prefect. We went in to exchange it and were charged a $45 restocking fee for a phone that didn’t work! I wasn’t aware that we would be charged for a phone that DOESN’T work. What kind of policy is that? I understand the fee if I changed my mind and wanted a different color but it’s ridiculous to charge that for a phone that doesn’t work. We ended up just returning it instead of exchanging it for another phone in fear of purchasing another dud.

Liars. Thats sums up my experience here. My wife and I walked in to the customer service desk late evening. We literally stood there waiting for close to 15 minutes. During this time we had 4 associates walk up to the counter or past us who didnt bother asking if we needed help. In addition, the associate taking care of the counter decided to help 2 other customers who arrived after us. It wasnt until one of the employees closing out registers asked us if we were being helped. Thats when the female employee who was supposed to take care of us (but instead of ignored us for 15 minutes) finally walked over and stated I thought you guys were already being taken care of.. yet she never confirmed the whole time we were standing there. After we left I called in to speak to a manager. The gentleman I spoke with claimed to be the manager therefore I let him know my experience and how I was deeply upset over the type of treatment we received at his location. He expressed his apologies and promised us a coupon to get us money off with our next purchase. Well, I went in a few weeks later to try and speak with that same gentleman but he wasnt available. I got to speak with the ACTUAL Store manager. I was again, upset to find out who I had spoken to, and who promised me a coupon was NOT any type of manager, instead that person was simply a department supervisor. The store manager was actually incredibly rude. I told him about our encounter that night and he exclaimed he had no clue what I was talking about. He then stepped away to call the employee whom I had spoken to. After the Store manager came back, he TOLD ME what happened that night. Mind you, the store manager was not there that night and he was TELLING ME what had happened. He was told that we were already being helped across the store and we were brought over by another associate to wait at the counter which is why we were never helped for 15 minutes. See any issues here? The employee(s) were telling him a completely different story. He practically told me I was lying to him, then proceeded to tell me that they do not give out any vouchers or discounts like the department supervisor was telling me about when i called him on that same night. Therefore, there was nothing he could or would do about the incident. Incredibly awful management on his part and no wonder his employees behave the way they do. However, there has been one employee that at one other occasion was very helpful and courteous. That employee usually works in the back by or at the computers.
