It was Nate who was exceptional in helping me work my self copy and fax of my important documents. His knowledge and attention to my needs is what made the difference at the Print and Marketing counter. Awesome!!👍

The store, to me, seems to be well-stocked of office supplies and what not. However, what some of the store employees lack is regard for what the customer wants, especially when it comes to the type of laptop they want. I had a sales person (I did not catch his name) that was pushing for me to buy virus protection, which I flat-out refused. The sales person then proceeded to make an off-the-cuff remark about the products I use, which started to make me angry. Thankfully, I checked out of the store with the laptop I wanted at approx. 10:50am today. Many customers would greatly appreciate it if the sales people learn to take NO as an answer from their customers instead of continually badgering them to purchase the in-store products.

Great customer service 👏👌👍 I am a senior and not technically talented as our younger generation and needed to print my tax forms from my phone. All the staff was wonderful and supportive, especially when I had trouble. Kind, respectful, and helpful while not making you feel totally incompetent. Like above and beyond helping their customers kind of service. Bringing my shredding next. 😃 Sincerely appreciate your help. 💞🙋‍♀️

Best place to get copies. Not the best place to get printers. I paid $30 less at Walmart for same printer they had.

Nice place with wide aisles and a nice selection. However during the pandemic lots of things that I need are out. This isnt just Staples but you should call ahead just to make sure they have what you are looking for. Otherwise this is a perfectly good place with great employees and a clean friendly store

This five star rating goes to a young lady name Stephanie tht works in printing and marketing department.She really is the definition of great customer and went above and beyond to help me out as I dont know much about printing and emails. She whats up and down helping other customers also as I use the computer very busy very productive thank you

They have back to School sale it would be a good time to head over there. I bought some stuff for like 25 cents 50 cents and etc.

Went on 9/03/2020 from 7:20PM-7:50PM. Asked for assistance and waited 30 min, after no one came I decided just to order online. Also, store was not busy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Used printing station loved that they had supplies available to use (tape scissors hole puncher etc) didnt make me feel rushed (was there for over an hour) i will recommend

Their cash registers did not work. The cashier did not tell us until we reached her which was 10 min. Where is the customer service and clear communication. Room for improvement. I will opt to shop online.

Been a customer for a year and it seems like Printing and Marketing dept. are super helpful but the staff talk to the customers very very loud and try to push them out the door asap. Very uncomfortable .

Decent stock of office supplies. The store is in an older building so there are a few areas that could use improvement. The store is clean. Downtown Merced is not the nicest place to be, so watch out for the transients and drug addicts walking the streets. If you cant find it in store, they offer shipping to store or your house on their website. I believe some items can be shipped to the store for free.

Had a perfectly good experience shopping here for an office chair. The place is a bit understaffed (took a while to get any attention) but they were helpful and even carried my chair out to the car. Friendly, as to be expected here!

I usually use the print shop only, and theyre short staffed. However, once my wait is over, the staff is extremely helpful and show great attention to detail.

I can usually find what I need here. Never had to wait around in a check-out line. Sometimes I have to go to Turlock to find the cardstock I need. I dont think that I have ever purchased staples here.

I walked into Staples in Merced, CA today to print some flyers. The girl from the printing counter asked me may questions about name, address, phone number just to print me ten flyers. I couldnt give her the address of my boss because I didnt know it. She told me that she wouldnt be able to print me the flyers whit out first providing her with all the information she asked. I said my boss knows the address but I have to call him but hes in a meeting and probably wont like it if I call him now. She actually wanted me to call my boss to get the address just so she prints me ten flyers. Not even DMV demands all these info as much as a print shop do now a day. You see why all these big corporations fall apart because they make it so inconvenience for customers when trying to make a purchase. Because all they care about is sucking information out of people and turn around and sell it to other parties. Amazon took advantage of those mistakes other companies do everyday with their customers and turned around and provided everything with no hustle or headache to customers. 95% of my shopping is through Amazon the only few times I go out to buy something from a local store or print flyers like I was trying to do today, got frustrated. No more doing business with Staples because theyre not there to serve customers with product and services, theyre there to collect information. No wander why I get a bunch of calls and emails every day from people I dont know, but yet they know everything about me. Thanks to Staple and those other outfits who sell our information without our consent. All were trying to do just preserve our privacy and live in piece without being harassed every day with solicitating mails, emails and phone calls.

This place is always very under stocked. They are sold out of even the most basic items you would expect them to have. The Copy Center is poorly managed. The employees who hover over you in the electronics section are very rude and try to push you into buying everything they throw at you.

I ordered a same day pickup item (business cards) online and it took more than a week for them to prepare it!! I probably missed my chances at a conference by not having business cards on me. Horrible experience with Merced staples!

Went fax something and waited for the fax machine to calculate the cost for 5 mins on one and then 10 mins on another. 10 people in line with ONE person working in that department with 4 others walking around and saying cant help me as they dont work in that department. Will never go back to fax another thing.

The gentleman that helped me was very good help because I almost left with the wrong item and showed exactly what i needed and all it was reciept paper. I didnt get his name but Thankyou kind sir.

Printing services sucked this morning usually I get good service there. But there was only one person and she seemed overwhelmed.

Before staff could print one picture for you even 3 now I went in just because it had to be wallet sized I had to place an order for one wallet sized picture ridiculous

I called to get a price on some printing I needed right away. I was put on hold for 24 minutes! When I called back the phone just rang. I called a third time and spoke to (I believe Ryan) the person answering the phone, and told him how Fed up that was. Now I am looking for another place to get my printing done. STAPLES of MERCED - YOU SUCK!!!

Ordered business cards online with in store pickup because I needed them next day. 3 days later and theyre still not ready.... Had 8x10 pictures printed a few months back and they used regular paper instead of photo stock. Printing services are a horrible.

If there was another store like this one in town...Id go there

Copy and print section is awful. No help whatsoever!

We wanted to laminate our photos and also make copies of 2 of our original pictures to be laminated. The lady handed us all the laminated photos but we cant even find one of the original. Very unorganized. Also they dont communicate well with each other.

The employee are not knowledgeable enough to help customer with printing stuff.
