I use the store almost every day that I work. I’ve been dealing with them since 2002. I have seen the ups and the downs with management and the way things have been ran for many years. I must say that this Year so far has been so much better than it has in the past. Doug was there for a long time and the place was managed pretty well. And there was a period that I just want to talk much about. But I can say that huge improvements have been made and every time I go in there I feel welcomed And everybody is extremely helpful. Cheers to you all. Keep up the excellent work!–Josh at Ellington AC
Very helpful staff. Fast service
As a contractor time is valuable, So if you want to waste time and patiences when entering this store you will lose both. If this is the best crew Trane has to offer, there headed for a Train wreck. Getting paid to sit on your Butt is not a luxury us contractors have time for. Just one more reasons Trane is losing its Contractors. My tech was here for over 30 min to find out they couldnt help him anyway with a return. My goodness couldnt help with a return.
Had what I needed
This place is the worst Trane location in Florida. They are completely non-responsive to customer warranty needs and show a complete lack of competence even in handling the simplest of requests. Unfortunately, this poor customer/Dealer response is just typical of what you can expect from Trane Corporate. They are poorly managed and make the lives of Dealers and end-user customers impossible.I expect that at their current pace and speed Ingersoll Rand will be shedding this monstrosity that they have created. A once quality reputable company has gone to the dogs. Fortunately, we have choices so, the best choice is to go with another manufacturer, one that values its customers and dealers. What an abortion. I have purposely not provided names as I will offer those later.
This is a review on the quality of the Trane Product:In December 2016 I wrote:Built a new home with Arthur Rutenberg (Rosewood Homes). Approximately 15 months after we closed, the AC failed that was sold by Florida Breeze- was told it was an expansion valve and it was covered under warranty. Six weeks later the unit failed again (exact same symptoms). Second technician came out and could not find a problem except to say it needed freon. So, he recharged it but also said he added some dye so if there is a leak he could see where it is coming from. He also said the wiring was not right, and said he fixed that too. He came back a couple of days later and said he could not find a leak. He said lets see what happens and that if it loses freon again the leak must be in the wall. Fast forward six more weeks and on the afternoon of 12/23/2016 the symptoms returned. A new technician came out and after we told him about the first two visits - he responded -there is dye all over the inside of the air handler - the heat exchanger has a leak. He said he would try to recharge the system until a new part could be installed. He later commented that the compressor has also failed and he cannot recharge the unit. He said he would be back next week (AFTER the holidays) to replace it. Today is Monday 12/26/2016 and somehow I have a feeling we will go another day or two in this above normal winter season. Our internal temp in the house 79 degrees and the fans dont do much to make it bearable. We are going to request a new unit - after all it is only two year old and has failed three times. The unit is a Trane - 17 seer variable speed unit. Tranes slogan Nothing can stop a Trane probably needs to be revisitedOn February 9th:We are now 7 weeks from the above post. Guess what? The unit has failed AGAIN! Yes AGAIN. 4th failure in 6 months on a brand new unit. We asked for a complete replacement. We were told - No! Florida Breeze and Trane need to go where the temp in our home is hot as H.....AND the slogan for Trane shold be Nothing Runs on a TraneWhy wont Trane stand behind their product. I suggest any consumer think twice after our experience.
