I have had a service contract with this company for many years. They are great to deal with - very responsive - even on the weekends (even on a Sunday morning!). I was out of town for a couple of weeks this summer when the AC quit on our dog sitter. I called the CCE folks from a remote location and let them know what was up and they made it out to the house within the hour and had the AC up and running shortly thereafter.The contract includes at least two regularly scheduled AC checks per year and on-call emergency repair - talk about peace mind! Their office staff and technicians are skilled, helpful and and professional. On the rare occasion a repair doesnt hold - they have returned to fix the problem. I cant imagine a better AC company - esp. for Florida residents.

I was in need of an installation of a new thermostat and was really excited about getting it installed. It was a little tricky getting it to work because of my current setup. The great news is that Joe got it to work. He went above and beyond what was needed in order to get it installed. He noticed that my current wiring setup was done incorrectly and he took the necessary steps to make it right for my home. He didn’t have to do anything but he is an honest guy and is willing to go the extra mile every step of the way. I highly recommend using this company and Joe’s services. I recently had a new Trane air conditioner installed in my home by Coastal Climate Experts. Joe and his team work tirelessly in the extreme heat to install the system on a Saturday. They had a number of hurdles to jump including making the inside unit fit in a very tight area and connecting it to a backup generator. We just replaced both AC systems with CCE. We originally put in Trane systems when we bought the home and they finally gave out. We found CCE when we were getting bids for the new systems and are so happy that we did. We are loyal and had been with the same company for 15 years, so switching was not a decision that we made lightly. Joe, the owner and his technicians have been abosultely amazing!!! Nobody likes their old a/c finally crashing, and having to buy a new one. Coastal Climate made it as pain-free as possible. We got 4 different estimates on 6 different units. Fortunately for us, Coastal Climate was one estimate! From the start, Megan was a superstar through the entire process. Very courteous, helpful AND she put up with my 101 questions and emails. Jason and Travis handled the installation with visits from Joe (the owner) and were great. Also explained everything they were doing, worked efficiently, cleaned up super and tested everything out.There were only 3 very minor glitches (or misunderstandings). 2 during the install and 1 after the install - each was handled easily and courteously. Building inspector just left - signed off - all good.Technically this should be a 4.5 star review.Whatever you do when you need a new a/c unit - CALL Megan! I believe their pricing to be competitive but the customer service was well above average.

This is one of the worst places in the country to go without AC and in less than an hour Ben was here to troubleshoot my old system. Ben was as upfront and honest as they come. I decided to replace the 10-year-old system rather than play the parts game. After weeks of trying to get companies to help me get my compressor fixed I called around nobody really wanted to help me because my unit was still under warranty. Joe has been great!! He came out to check our AC unit within an hour, quickly identified the issue and had the part in his van! Later on Friday evening when we returned home we found that the unit wasn’t cooling. I emailed Joe at 10:30pm, he replied at 7:15 the next morning then followed up with a phone call at 8. He was at the house within an hour and, again, quickly identified and replaced a different part but our unit blew the part. He was quick to identify the other issue and went out of his way to locate the needed item. The level of service and professionalism that we have received from Joe is second to none! THANK YOU JOE!! Last week I discovered that my AC unit was leaking all over my garage. It was already beginning to smell moldy. I know how bad mold is here in Florida so I was a little panicked. I called them for an estimate, and they came out that same day and theirs was the lowest bid that I received. Mid January 2018, Coastal Climate Experts installed a new Trane AC System and removed the old 13 year existing unit. Megan was most helpful with my concerns for choosing the new Trane System for my home. She was also my contact to schedule a date for the install, any future questions I may have, and all prior necessary permits, etc. Joe is a 5-Star Tradesman... an Expert Tech with a lot of extensive knowledge!!! Jon is a very knowledgeable Tech at a journeymen level and the two apprentices were very polite and aware to the customers concerns as the project progressed. They kept the work area clean and picked-up throughout the install. The TEAM arrived promptly on time and performed a quality, flawless install !!!

Had Joe and crew remove old unit from rear of house and install new trane system with outside unit moved to side of house. They worked non stop only to take a lunch break. No mess, hassles. Very professional with a great sense of humor. Was a pleasure to have joe and his crew work at/in my home. Btw joe is a GREAT welder with no hissy sounds after he was done weldering. It was a late Friday afternoon that our AC at our business failed and our usual AC Vendor was nonresponsive. We took a chance and called Coastal Climate to help. After installing one failed part, they realized that the condenser motor was also bad but it was too late in the day to get any more parts. So, they went to their shop and found an old unit and installed that motor into our system. It worked then and still does. We were able to function through the weekend otherwise we would have had to shut down until Monday afternoon. We now have a new primary AC vendor!

I did some Engineering Consulting work for Trane at their Tyler, TX factory, so when my Melbourne Beach-side home needed a new system I wanted the all Aluminum Condenser and Evaporator. It was a pretty big job; but they pulled it off in one day. Even though I was technically familiar with the Trane unit, his guidance on which model and features were excellent and actually saved me money. Joe said departing my house after nearly 4 months of terrible service attempting to properly install two new AC systems.Edited: Removed statements that I could find no public record of work permit for my address. Since this post, CCE has provided me copies of the commencement and a screenshot from some sort of records software for final.The short of it: Extremely poor communication, EXTREMELY poor scheduling, and extremely poor installation. I should have spent the extra couple of hundred dollars and got professionals.It took them over 3 months to have my ACs installed properly, i spent an extra $40 per month in electricity, and I still do not have the proper thermostat.Joe is a fake and patronizing but to his credit, he knows what he is doing with HVAC systems.Megan is EXTREMELY poor at communication and scheduling. Megan is a notary and offered to notarize documents without me there to sign in front of her. No integrity.Don is the best worker on the force.Jon is not bad just a little over confident.The rest of the people that were at my install were later fired because they were found to be poor at their job.Communication started June 12th, install promised the week of July 3rd, the install started on July 12th and went to Nov 3rd.Jon was promised to my house on the June 12th by noon but would be there way earlier. Expect him closer to 9. He showed up by 12:15.I wasted an entire week of time off waiting for them to come out and install my new units. I got nothing. No email, no phone call. She didnt schedule anything, she didnt tell me she wasnt scheduling anything. I twiddled my thumbs the whole week.When they did arrive for install, no scheduled time, I bought them pizza, provided them cold water all day, and tipped them when they left.The install took so long because they put in the wrong size units when they mislabeled the condenser units with their stickers. Which meant they had to re-install them later when they found the issue.Towards the end of this whole thing, Megan spoke to me on the phone in a tone that was blaming me for not being available as she tried to schedule next day service knowing full well that I need more than 14 hours notification. When I say next day service I mean: I contact them with the what I need, provide my availability, and they contact a week or more later saying they will be out the next day.If you dont believe me, feel free to ask me for my summary of the email traffic, phone calls and dates they all occurred. I have provided that summary to Joe personally and in his most patronizing voice he said he would have Megan review it. Naturally, the wrong thermostat is still attached to my units.

We felt the quotes were high, and we werent comfortable with the brands they were using. After much research, we felt that a Trane A/C would be the best brand for us. We found CCE on the Trane website, and gave them a call. CCE offered us the lowest quote, by far, and we felt much more confident with a Trane A/C. CCE did a great job installing our new A/C.After our A/C was installed, we asked for a quote to replace our water heater. Again, we were astonished at the low price to get a brand new water heater. They came back and installed a new water heater for us, and we couldn’t be more happy.CCE has been amazing, and we will continue to work with them, and refer all of our friends and family.

Totally satisfied! Interviewed 5 contractors (3 Trane, 2 Carrier) to replace 14 year old in-house air handler and heat strips, and 6 year old outside heat pump unit one mile from beach in Satellite Beach. CCE was significantly less expensive than other two Trane contractors, listened to what I wanted, had old system out and new system up and running within one week from initial interview. Professional team of four technicians worked within my parameters, explained process, and showed me how to operate new system.

Coastal Climate Experts installed a new Trane XL16i 16 SEER in our home. We replaced a 16 year old unit that sprung a large leak on the outside unit. Megan and Robert came out the same day we called to provide us an estimate (less than an hour from my call). They were both very knowledgeable and answered all my questions.When we called to set up the installation date, we were absolutely thrilled to hear that they could come out the very next day. Very impressed with their speed of service, especially during this time of year. Jon and Robert arrived right when they said they would on the install day and the new unit was installed with plenty of daylight left. Their work was very professional.Weve been really impressed with the new Trane unit. The new unit has been able to drop the humidity levels about 10% lower in comparison to our old unit. This has made the lower indoor temps even more comfortable. We’re also looking forward to the cost savings the new unit will provide. A new Wifi Trane thermostat was included, and Megan helped us set it up. We really appreciate the extra time and effort she extended.In summary, we are very happy with the service provided by all staff at Coastal Climate and our new AC unit.

We had Coastal Climate Experts install three Trane two-stage air conditioning units with in-cabinet filters and Nexia thermostats. They replaced all copper tubing and pvc pipes. Joe Dittmar, owner, and Megan, his assistant, came out to our home to estimate the job. They were on time and did a thorough assessment of our air conditioning needs. Our current Trane system was 18 years old. We received a timely and very competitive bid and they came back to our home after we received the bid to answer our questions and finalize the timing for the job. They did a great job installing the units and worked with our schedule when we had to leave our home for an hour or so. They cleaned up their work area at the end of everyday as well as at the end of the job. Some of our copper tubing was in cement and Joe had to go to extra effort to break up the cement to replace the copper. He could have filled it back in with foam, but without our request went the extra mile and got new cement to finish it off in a more attractive manner. The Trane units work beautifully. We notice a difference in the amount of humidity inside the house as compared with our older units. They are very quiet and look great. The Nexia programmable thermostats work well and its terrific to be able to change the temperature after we have left the house for the weekend if we forgot to do so before we left. We are very happy with our purchase and installation, would use them again for another job, and would recommend Coastal Climate Experts to our friends.

He came in and did an awesome job explaining and being honest about our best approach to fix our cooling issues with 2400 sqft. .. He was very attentive and professional! Answered every question/concern and explained without complaint! Never pushed anything that wasnt needed like upselling!We had 4 new returns put in ceilings along with a brand new unit/handler and thermostat!The crew that did our house was very professional and educated! They worked proficiently and precisely!
