We went in to get a Traeger smoker and was lucky to have Richard assist us with our questions, and offering of suggestions. We wanted a quick delivery for a special occasion, and he delivered the items within an amazingly short time. I recommend this location for their above and beyond customer service and want to thank Richard for his tremendous effort in making the special delivery happen! Cant get this type of service in the big box stores - keep up the good work!

I was looking for some parts that were not commonly available elsewhere. The floor clerk spent the time with me to find what I needed as well as the mating components I need. He did a great job, was very helpful and friendly. Ace is great for hard to find items. Thats their fortea!

This store had a filter that no other store had. Soon after I entered the store, a kind associate asked if I needed help. I told him that I needed a filter for my shop vac and he knew exactly what I was talking about and brought me right to them. It saved me time searching all over for it. Its very rare to walk into a store where the associates are familiar with the store.

Usually when I go here Im treated with respect and not belittle d by the sales associate thats helping me. Yes I do not know everything so I enjoy the help they usually give. I simply needed some screws for a crib railing. So I brought the crib railing with me. The gentleman that helped me basically told me I didnt know what I was talking about regarding the screws I needed. Regardless I told him I needed screws that the entire length of them needed to be threaded. I was unhappy with his service. Because of this I will not returning to this location for further purchases. I do wish I could remember his name, unfortunately I cannot. The only reason I am giving this location two stars is because previously Ive only had good experiences.

This Ace is an excellent place to go to for all of your hardware/home repair needs. The service is always great and you are greeted by a cashier and salesperson who is ready to assist you. Everything i need always and the staff are right there to help everytime

I purchased 30 ft of chain to hang a swing. My swing was damaged and I didnt realize it as I hadnt checked it prior to my purchase. I tried to return the chain which cost me $80.00 was told it was their policy not to accept returns on chain. Had I known that I would not have purchased it until I had checked my swing. I was told there was a sign informing customers of this policy. The receipt did not state no returns. Very upsetting.

My go to ace. I would like to give it a little less than five but they deserve more than four. Really my only complaint is that some staff needs to learn how to say and accept “I don’t know.” I asked for a soft steel bolt. Softest steel available because I was going to have to drill it, cut it and shape it. He pretended to understand and I trusted him. Now I’ve broken a drill bit in the bolt. Thinking my bit was dull or something I broke another one. That’s when I looked at the stamp and saw 10.9. I’ve already broke 2 bits and have 3 more bolts to modify. And this really is just a single example. Or standing around while he looks because he has no idea where it is. Not even knowing what the item looks like, is going real slow because he can’t go by the pictures and reading every label, while I try to look around in the area he is blocking while he reads, trying to save time. It’s not a problem unique to this store. It can be very frustrating and find it hard sometime to smile through my grit teeth and be polite. A little training in humility and accepting that he doesn’t really have any idea what I’m talking about. Sure I like being helped and save time. But when it comes to more obscure items and acting like you know where it is, or even what it is is very unhelpful. I am a loyal customer and always drive right past Lowe’s to Ace if I even think they have it. And one other thing. What I’m using it for has no meaning when it comes to locating and selling it to me. I was even asked this when I asked for WASHING soda. I mean, it’s in the very name of the product.??? It happens too much, and it seems a lot more recently.

Always loved going here...Has everything i needed and had a personal touch unlike the other big stores... I would walk in and several people would greet you and walk you to the specific isle for your needs at any time of day was very nice...Today no one greeted me.. No one asked if i needed help.. Cashier was too busy to doing her own thing.... Hoping this was an off day...

Needed 3/8 inch soft copper tubing to repair a compressor. Needed a piece 13 inches long that had to bent to fit. Ask rep to cut two pieces, 15 inches long, in case I messed the first one up, I wouldnt have to come back to get another one since this was my first attempt at bending tubing. Didnt pay attention to what the rep wrote up on my slip. When I got home I noticed that I was charged for three feet of copper tubing instead of the 30 inches I purchased. It was only $1.50 that I was over charged so didnt bother to go back but guess that price will be chocked up for lesson to pay attention in the future !!!! Still plan to shop there.

I was disappointed because I was looking for signal nails and you have to buy them by the pound...it was so nice would you could get a handful of several different types of nails without spending a lot of money.... Manager is very rude and not helpful at all. In fact he acted like i was a burden even asking about a faucet adapter. Didnt even want to help. Just said he needed more info. Even though i showed him the very model i needed an adapter for.obviously he needs a job where nonoe has to ask him fir his help. What a piece of work. Definitel steer clear if you need help. Obviously I cant bring the whole faucet and sink in. Thats why I brought the model name and part number. Whatever. Never going back, thats for sure. No need whens theres much friendlier people at lowes and home depot who want to help.

Great friendly staff that will always try and help you beyond just saying we have it or not. They will ask the use to try and find what they might have that can work. Often have more options in this little store than big stores do. Best chance of finding stainless or brass hardware you need today along with metric. If you build things, you will be here at some point.

I love the Ace Hardware Store in Melbourne FL, also loved one on James Island, SC. Any person can go into the big home stores and search all over the place for something and not have that immediate help like Ace does.....Customer service at Ace is amazing. Always met by someone at the door, What do you need?...THANK you, because I sometimes dont know what I need, but heres the scenario...and voila, in 5 mins or less, have what I need with also, some expert advice. You do NOT get that at the big home stores, though they try. Any project I have now, big or small, I always go to Ace!!!
