You can usually get help pretty easy here. However sometimes its as if your being attacked. Like, maybe I can look for the bolt myself in the clearly marked bolts isle and then ask for help if I need it. Were still in a pandemic and quite frankly Id rather be left alone to find things myself. I also feel like when you get help, you might also get pushed faster to buy a product that may or may not be right and might be more expensive than planned. Maybe its because Im a woman and they think Im not capable, or maybe it just what they do. I figure if a woman walks in a hardware store these days she basically knows what she needs or would ask, same as a man. I have left here feeling a tad rushed and forced without enough time to catch my thoughts and then realized I could have did it cheaper, and it was over kill for what I needed, which ended up making the project more costly than anticipated a couple times. However, they do have just about everything.

Being a small business I like to support small businesses. Shame on me. Grabbed the only grout blade on the shelf for occilating tools cause it said universal. Turns out that dewalt wasn’t included and was then told I couldn’t return it because they couldn’t resell it open. It’s a blister pack. How do you expect it to be opened????? Guess I’ll stick with big box stores

Has a nice selection of goods for household needs, hardware, fasteners, tools, garden supplies etc. Cheapest place around for pool chlorine too. I prefer giving my business to smaller neighborhood stores.

When you go into a store for the first time it can be scary, knowing very little I went in there to get a new key for my car made. They got me in and out with a little hiccup along the way but was swiftly taken care of. Thank you Bill and the rest of the team!!!

The staff here are very nice. It is sometimes a few cents more than lowes or home depot but the speed makes up for that. The store is packed with a lot of different items.

Personal attention is always appreciated to find the right tool or appliance for whatever honey-do project is on the list--indoor or outdoor.If they dont have what is needed, they are totally honest about it and will try to find a substitute or kindly apologize.

A very friendly staffed store and well organized.

Dont think for one second that this place has any flaws because they dont. Reason being I went here today to get pliers and found them with the help of a very nice worker working the cash register and got them for a great price. Secondly their store is very well organized and stocked perfectly. Restrooms are cleaned too and yes employees were wearing masks! Lastly I was looking for a job and asked for a application and was recieved one instantly, hope to work with them in the near future! Thank you personally for such quick response time and for your help I greatly appreciate it. Hope this review reaches thousands. EDIT- I wouldve gotten a couple pictures of the places interior to show how cleaned and well stocked it was but I didnt do so because I didnt want to come off suspicious like Im scoping out the place but just take it from me this place is awesome.

Pretty good selection for a small store! The employees are friendly and try to be helpful. I had a simple gardening question the cashier didnt understand, but he tried and I will do some more research on my own. I ended up getting almost everything I needed.

Pretty good place to get hardware stuff but they dont have the amount of items that other hardware stores have. When I came the employees where pretty nice but I rather go to another more recognized store. I think alot of these business see the traffic in Melbourne and think they are going to do well. But Melbourne residents are a group that go to the same places everyday. I hope they make it.

Nice and quick place to grab a tool

I wanted to share what a wonderful experience I had at True Value yesterday as I have shopped here many of times and always had a very pleasant experience and every staff member has always been so helpful and knowledgeable, but yesterday was above and beyond the help and assistance I received from the older gentleman. He was so curteous, patient, and most helpful and took the time not only 2 help me find the items I needed he also gave me great advice with alternative screws for my shower drain if the new cover didnt fit. I would recommend this store to amyone especially woman who arent as knowledgeable about fixing things

I found a discontinued Weber grill online (truevalue.com) that had to be special ordered from a True Value distribution center in Oregon. After having spoken to corporate customer service reps, I was told to contact my local True Value store and they could help me out. So, I called the nearest store to me and was quickly told they wouldnt be able to do anything for me. They were nice enough but not helpful.Then, I called True Value of Melbourne. Rusty answered the phone and could not have been nicer. He doesnt do the ordering for their store, but took down my information and promised the manager (Bill) would look into it for me.The next morning, Bill called and had already searched out all the pertinent information for me. He found 57 grills in Oregon and 1 in Texas. At the end of the day, the grill I wanted required a special freight carrier (which they would have arranged for me) but the cost for shipping would have offset the savings on the grill...but, Bill saved the day! He found a newer grill at an incredible price and put the order in for me the same day.The customer service of Bill and his team is off the charts. Its what sets True Value apart from the big box stores that leverage their volume sales over their ability to help individual customers. This is my very first purchase from this specific True Value, but I do not anticipate it being my last!The only reason I chose 5 stars is because Google wouldnt allow me to choose more! Thank you, Bill, Rusty and the entire True Value team.

WARNING- NO MASK On Cashier! NO Acrylic divider! News of president in hospital w COVID and other pp tested positive. Wow- Sign on door says please wear a mask. If you are with an elderly person or someone who might be compromised DON’T GO THERE!!! All customers seemed to be wearing a mask. When stated, you’re not wearing a mask! She said, I know. Heck I thought she forgot. Yes, a manager was there too. It was one of our seldom times out since mid March. We do take care of an elderly person. Wish we didn’t go there that day.

Though the 2 small machine screws that l needed were not available in SS, l did get them in mild steel and after a coat of paint, it should be good. Friendly and helpful folks.

I really like this store. It was hard to forget to go to Home Depot or Walmart because I was so used to it, but now TV is my first stop. Great selection in a small-ish building and competitive prices. Customer Service is miles ahead of the big boxers as it should be. 5 stars.

I love it when they try to help associates I mean try to help customers get the best product that they need for the job that they do... thats all fine and good. That is not what they do here, they have literally no business so they will take you to the Ill watch you as you stand there and pick your items and stare at you on the cameras the whole time as you wanted or sore looking for something it felt very degrading and disrespectful... Overall they do have good prices and its an okay store very clean and they have a great selection of items in such a small space.I gave them to us are simply because of that if it was for the way that I was treated in the way I felt leaving the store they would have gotten 0 Stars if it was up to me

Bill the manager and the staff are awesome!! Bill listens to what you need and will even order products to try in the store based on customers recommendations. Its rare to walk in a store these days and feel welcomed and know they will assist you anyway they can.

Surprisingly good prices here on a lot of items. Often a pocket store can have higher prices in favor of ease of access. The selection is decent with just enough stuff for the quick fix. Along with that, it is nice to have a hardware store wedged in between the big box stores.

Been here a few times and everybody is extremely friendly. A pretty wide variety of things you may need for a little Home Project. Strongly recommend!

First off youll go to this True Value because its a great place and its conveniently located in your area. But most importantly youll keep coming back because of the amazing customer service that youll receive. Denise and her co-workers are knowledgeable and super-friendly.

Very nice staff and very helpful. However, trying to return an item is a hassle if the owner /manager is not there. So you have to make 2 trips just to return something on the managers day off! Ridiculous that he doesnt trust his employees with certain computer codes. I will never ORDER anything from them again. They should give me a discount or gift card, on my next in store purchase for my inconvenience in this bad return policy.Second day I came back to the store when the manager was there to do my return. He said you didnt return it yesterday? I advised him the employee could not do the return as he did not have a code for the computer. Then this manager wanted the credit card I used to make the purchase online, because he didnt want to give me cash. Well sorry but PayPal smart connect accounts dont issue credit cards, its an online account only! Sorry this man has never heard of it. After a short additude from him he finally did the return. This managers additude is rude AF! Store employees are wonderful people and helpful, hard to believe they have to be micro managed.I wont be going there again anytime soon.

They are the most rudest bunch of employees Ive ever encountered in my life. There are a bunch of hypocrites with no customer services training at all. Was told that there credit card would take smart pay and of course I give it a shot at it, needless to say. I tried it and it did not work. Some standby clerk said, stick your damn card in and get it over it, it does not work. I replied, why are talking to me that way! Her reply was, Ill say what I want to say! Oh, yes with some ghetto attitude. So I replied take all this, im not buying anything. As I walk out the door was even told im not welcome back. Sorry you hurt my feeling. By the way, so you know not really! I be damn if I ever come back! What a fiasco of a place to shop at, with a bunch of hoodlums for employment! Oh, by the way Im glad I went some where else the same products for half the cost. There is no true value at your ripoff store. Buyers beware for sure.

Owner doesnt honor warranties on the products they sell.I tried to return a defective lawn sprinkler and he wouldnt honor the warranty. I have not been back since so they have lost quite a bit of business because of it. I will never return to that store!

Their prices for pairs of screws and other hanging parts are so low I dont know how they make a profit. I left with four pieces and spent only $0.75. Keep these guys in business and we can all benefit for years.
