Cheap tools in a clean and neatly organized assortment. Asked some questions about a product I bought and left knowing exactly what I needed, even though they didnt carry it. I never leave empty handed here, great place!

Really wide variety of good quality tools and equipment. Ive ordered online before but this time had to visit a store to pick up a large item. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Store is always clean and nice. Finding help is not always easy and Im finding lately that many items are not there or low stock. Had to order online the items I needed. Online purchase was easy, well see how delivery goes. Price was better than what I could find other places.

Ordered and paid extra for same day delivery. Altered original order to assure could get same day (quantities in stock). They cancelled order just before the cut off to place orders for the day so I couldn’t reorder. Email said they would call me to discuss options but no call received to this point. I had put in order with an hour to spare. Now I won’t have my project supplies as needed. (Can’t drive postsurgical). No personal contact or apology.

I love shopping at Northern Tool + Equipment. They always have what I need at a great price. Just wish there was one closer to where I live.

Had a mechanical issue with my Poulan leaf blower. Brought it to the West Melbourne (#610) store. Mechanic Adam performed a complete and thorough diagnostic check, fully explaining the issue(s). I decided to replace the unit. Store Manager Frank had one of his employees show me the complete selection of new and reasonably priced Poulan blowers in stock, one of which I’m now the proud owner of. The employee made sure I understood how my new unit works and guided me thru the product registration process. I’m very grateful to Frank, Adam, and all at the West Melbourne Northern Tool!

Found this fan for a price I like couldn’t find one in stock so I asked if I could order one at which point I was directed to go online and order it for myself which luckily for you I did but I don’t understand how a big box store a showcase for your brandWould just allow me to walk out the door. I don’t even work customer service but I can tell you that if I was in the same situation I would’ve had the fan bought paid for and given myself an estimate time on its arrival seems as if you guys are slipping a bit.

I bought pressure washer last year, it stop working I call them to explained. No problem ! They gave me brand new one with no coast.

Amazing products but certain staff are unnecessarily rude. This happens at many places, and honestly should not even be a thing. It hurts customer experience. this is the only reason the store is getting three rather than four stars.

The Melbourne, Florida Harbor Freight store is very conveniently located on the main Melbourne east-west New Haven Rd. Also... within just a few blocks of the Interstate I-95. Very good location with a big, well lit lot. I’ve always felt very safe.The store inside is well laid out. A huge amount of quality goods is always on hand. Too many stores now, seem to run a way too lean inventory. I have never been disappointed at the Melbourne store. Of course for something important, it’s always good to call ahead a couple days if possible, just to verify inventory. Plus the staff will bring the item up front, so you save time to boot!Staff has always been respectful and quite helpful. At 65, I’ve been in my share of retail stores. Even though it’s a thirty minute drive for my wife and I, this is the store I will continue to seek out for my needs.My wife always finds an item or two that she enjoys as well. Even if it’s just a pair of gardening gloves. And if you have a trailer of any sort, this should be your number one stop for trailer parts, from axles to tie downs. I agree with Mr Strange, if your a commercial service provider and you bring something in thats defective, FOR GET IT they expect you to wait (literally) 3 wks for service, (oh then the assistant manager treats you like your a (southern) tool) very demeaning, (she) I cant be the only one that wonders when is the mechanic (Not) on vacation, he must work from home. It was literally 2 wks for a defect and manager tried sending me home for another wk w/o said tool. I guess thats how you view the world when you drive your fiesta to a time clock, and wait for 8 hrs to pass. Idono..

The staff in this location are fabulous. They go so far above and beyond. We were only passing through and Frank saves the day for us. They definatly earned a long term customer.

They asked for identification upon purchasing a Honda motor. I didnt have my license on me (left it under the seat of my bike) so I handed them my passport. AKA, government issued identification. The woman had no idea what it was, called someone else over, and I was then lectured on how I should always have my license on me at all times. Even though my passport worked, and I was spending over $700...So, I suppose I was happy they had the motor but their customer service is definitely something to be desired...

Prepaid for two truck tool boxes for store pickup. Called them when they were six days overdue. They were there, the store just didnt call. Maybe because they were already paid for. In any case, just slack as hell. Update: Got to the store, they had sold one of our prepaid toolboxes. Wanted us to take just the one. We demurred until they both are there to pick up. Very third world. Will not deal with them again. Approx. $800 order.

Frank and his staff went above and beyond for customer service satisfaction. Today was actually my first time going to northern tools. My husband loves northern tool and as the holidays approach I order something for my husband online for christmas( I might add that they are cheapest prices around) and they called me to pick it up item a couple days ago. Well today I decided I have arrands to do and Ill swing by and pick up my order ..long story short I called to see if by chance I could have an associate bring out my order to me in my car cause a had my baby and today happened to be cold and heavy rain...Frank the store manager didnt even hesitate on the phone and said absolutely, stay in your car and we will bring it out to you he got my order number and name and was outside with my order less then 5 minutes.Moral of this story is that Frank, the store manager, went above and beyond for the customer and I think that is such a great role model for a leadership postion. It may have seemed simple and small gesture but it ment alot to me because bringing babies/ kids inside stores can sometimes be challenging and on top of it pouring rain..A simple, small gesture can go so far.. I am so grateful for that experience and want to give credit, where credit is due. And for this being my very first experience with northern tool, I will speak nothing but positive feedback about northern tool.Thank you so much Frank

I asked an associate to assist me with a power surface cleaner, while we were looking for one in a box he started assisting another customer and did not come back. I finally located him in another area of the store and asked him if I was to assume that they didnt have one in stock, he replied I guess so but I can sell you the floor model. I decided to leave and put back the other two items I was planning on buying.

I usually get my tools from harbor freight but not anymore, I went to harbor freight in melb. to get a air line regulator, HF didnt carry any for high pressure so I went and bought one at NT and got the wrong one, unfortunately i live an hour away so i went on line and found the right one and asked mr wicks if there any way he could send it to me so i dident have to drive 2 hours so i sent the wrong one back and 2 days later i got the right one in the mail, it was a few dollars less so i told him to keep it for the shipping, worth it to me just not to have to drive 2 hours plus the gas $ Thank you Mr Wicks for going out of your way to help me out, you have my business ! wish you could build one in mims fla !
