I usually love coming here to get my eyebrows waxed, but this is the second time over the past couple months that nobody has been in the store during normal operating hours. This time I drove over and there’s a sign on the door that says “Be back in 30 minutes”. Went to a different store and came back 30 minutes later and still nobody there. Mind you, this is at 3 pm on a Sunday. It should be staffed at all times during their posted operational hours.
I had my brows waxed and tinted here recently by Michaela and I’ve never loved my brows more. I could tell that she was super confident in what she was doing and I’ll definitely be going back to see her. 10/10
Customer service was wonderful! I am simply giving it one start due to the lack of management not realizing they need more staff. Poor girl had 6 people waiting to get waxed. They should never make customers wait this long.
I have always loved Merle Norman and only go here to get my eyebrows done because they always do a good job. I went to this location yesterday and the woman who was working was obviously not in a good mood and did not bother to ask how I wanted my eyebrows shaped or what I needed done. There was very little conversation, which isnt necessary, but you can at least say Hi or something simple. As soon as she was done it felt as if the skin around my eyebrows was raw (I have never felt this before). The skin around my eyebrows is completely puffed up now and is a lighter skin tone than the rest of my face because of the wax. I dont know if she left the wax on too long, was trying to make it more painful, or if it just happened but this is a new experience for me. Also she excessively used her tweezers and was plucking very aggressively. I have never had a worked pluck my eyebrows as much as she did yesterday. I wont be returning to this location again and will be sticking to the MI location instead.Edit: I also had wax left on my skin.
If there was an option for no stars I would choose that.My daughter came in there to get her eyebrows waxed this past Friday 09/25/2020 at around 2:40 pm. She doesn’t remember the name of the girl who waxed her but she said she has a lot of tattoos on her arms. The wax burned her skin and is now causing scabbing and irritation and pain. The lady who waxed her knew she didn’t do a good job and told her she didn’t have to tip her. Also told her the redness was because her acne medication and it’s not. Her skin was ripped off. I’ve tried multiple times to call the store and there hasn’t been an answer.
Audra is always so friendly and cheerful! Her and Megan are my favorite estheticians at this Merle Norman. I won’t go anywhere else to have my eyebrows done. I’m sad that Megan left but I can always trust Audra to do a great job.
Went there to get our baby’s ears pierced. One lady tried to refuse the service and threat to call the cops on us. All for personal issues. Merle Norman as a big and good company I highly suggest you to be more cautious about your “managers”. Sara acted very unprofessional because her personal issues towards us. One year ago she tried to break into our place and we have evidence for it so she better don’t lie about it. I told her to go ahead and call the cops, I know my rights as a costumer. She gave up about the idea and the other lady, I believe called Brianna, took care of us. Making sure to never go back there for services. And the corporate will know about this incident.
I have been going to Merle Norman in Viera for years. Always great service. Audra is fabulous!
Me and my families experience here was not good. We came in to get our 4 month olds ears pierced just like any paying customer. The woman who helped us at the counter was great informative and helpful. However the manager Sarah Vargesko approached the counter and stated” purely based on personal reasons nothing to do with business or us as customers. “I am going to have to refuse service to you”. We told her we were not leaving and here for a service just like any paying customer. She threaten to call the police we told her to please do so. Her poor co worker was standing in aw apologizing to us for what was happening. Then she back tracked and stated that just one tech her co worker would do the piercing no cops called and that’s what we wanted in the first place. Regardless of personal out side of work situations customers and business should be conducted in a professional manner . Very disappointed with our hostile visit to the viera avenues location. We would really like feedback from higher above management regarding this.
I went to Merle Norman at Viera to have a facial and it was a wonderful experience! Marsha gave me the facial and I looked and felt at least 10 years younger! She was very professional and used great products and treatments for my face!
My daughter went there to have her eyebrows shaped up and tinted. The employee, Jenny, who had been working there for only one month removed all the shape from the eyebrow creating two straight lines. Jenny overly thinned the eyebrows despite being told not to thin them at all. When my daughter whos only fifteen broke down and started crying told her she took all the shape out of her eyebrow, Jenny proceeded to thin them even more in an attempt to correct her mistake but only made things even worse. The manager, Jenny Rigsby, then refused to provide any refund and stated it was their policy not to refund eyebrow waxing. Consumer beware. I have filed a complaint with their corporate office but doubt theyll do anything. If you perform a cosmetic service you should do what the customer asks for and not what you want to do. Listen to your customers. On the job training is not acceptable. Learn your trade before you go to market....
The ladies here are so amazing!! I wont let anyone else touch my brows super friendly and always have a smile no matter what the client traffic is. These ladies keep the environment super clean and organized and always get everyone in and out looking beautifully highly recommend!!
I just left this establishment feeling very discriminated against. I walked in and was not greeted. Both employees were dealing with customers, so I was ok with not being greeted. I was there for 4-5 minutes when a group of 3-4 people came in. They were greeted right away and asked if they were there for waxing, they responded yes and were told that someone would be with them shortly. Once I heard that exchange I turned and walked out. I was the ONLY person of color in the store. I wish I was able to give 0 star, unfortunately, I had to give 1 instead.
Stopped by to pick up a quick Valentines gift for my wife, found they were out of stock on the item I was searching for, the young lady took my phone number and called me later to inform me that another location has the product in stock. I appreciate the professionalism and great customer service. Way to go!
A friend and I took our daughters to get their ears pierced here and they did not give them the earring they wanted. Clearly there was nothing they could do at that point but we weren’t even given an apology. The next day one of my daughter’s earrings fell out. She was very upset but I was able to get it back in quickly. Same thing happened with my friend’s daughter the same day! We took them back to the Merle Norman and the woman checked them and said the backs were on tight and they were fine. My friend’s daughter was given a new back because she wasn’t able to find it after it fell out. The woman working there said there is sometimes an issue with the kind of earring that our daughter’s ended up with. Two days later, the same earring fell out of my daughter’s ear in the middle of Disney World! I found it on her shoulder thank goodness and got it back in. I could not find the back so we had to use a regular back from one of my earrings. I called Merle Norman and asked for a new back and she said “we don’t sell them”. I told her my friend’s daughter was given one and this was the second time the earring fell out of my daughter’s ear. The woman didn’t know what to say so she was going to leave a message for the lady in charge and ask her to call me. It’s been 24 hours and I still have not received a call. I have tried to call and left a message and still no one has gotten back to me. This has been a nightmare for my daughter. Instead of her being excited to finally get her ears pierced, she’s constantly worried about them falling out again! I am incredibly disappointed with the customer service at this Merle Norman location in Viera, FL.
Visited the Viera Mall Merle Norman again on my trip to Melbourne. Love the staff. They are always friendly and do such an awesome job. They now are carring a new jewelry called Ginger Snaps. I love them!! These girls do the best job, I even had an ear piercing which they really took their time to make sure they were correct.
Horrible. Ive been going there for awhile now and its never the same service. My friend had skin ripped off during waxing. She stopped going, I kept going because it was decent price. I went today, I got skin ripped off (I was never told by any of the workers), never trimmed the brows, and left wax on my skin. Never going again and thanks to them for my graduation I will have a huge scar under my eyebrow.

I got two different piercings done and the lady put the wrong earrings in for both of them. After I told her they were the wrong earrings she said I could go home and change them myself, without even acknowledging the fact that she pierced my ears with earrings I did not ask for.
The worst customer service. Jenny B. started yelling at me while I was in the store because my kids were with me. Do not go in here it you are a mother, you are not welcome.
