I really enjoy food Lion for meeting my shopping needs. Ive never had an issue with customer service in regards to going to any of the food Lions. I definitely recommend food Lion if you need something for your household.

The store was clean. The carts are being sanitized between customers. There are signs letting you know which are clean and which need to be cleaned. They had what I came in looking for and check out was great.

Im on the road alot. Sometimes Im down in some country roads where there is jus.t nothing around. To be honest there are very few places around that I trust when mother nature calls. No matter where I am I pull out Google maps and typically find a Food Lion close by. Their bathrooms are ALWAYS clean.The deli section is a great to get lunch counters are always clean and wiped.Way to represent the stanard!

The customer service usually takes forever

They had 5 discontinued Red Bull Cranberry flavor and they were on sale, 5 stars.

Everyone that works here is helpful and courteous except for the women in the deli, they are rudest most grouchy women I have ever dealt with and because of them I shop a different store just for deli items.

Bathroom is really clean.

Yesterday, 5/27, I wanted to exchange an item Annette, young woman at the service desk was more than friendly and assured me I could do that; so I went and picked up the exchange item and a few other things and returned to the service desk.At this point, she was talking with another employee and interrupted her conversation immediately to help me get checked out . As she was making the adjustment, she realized that I had a produce item that she could not check at her service desk register. She very kindly and very graciously checked out of the service desk and walked me to a regular check out and checked me out. At no point did she make me feel uncomfortable or an annoyance she was friendly and professional and a credit to the Food Lion family.Thank you Annette you gave me a wonderful shopping experience, I will be back.

Quite surprised how low in stock this food lion was. Have not seen that at other grocery stores in months. Guess I will online shop prior to heading out in the future.

Ive been impressed with this Food Lion lately. New to area and this is closest grocer. People in there are helpful, lines usually go quickly, and prices are good, and their sales are even better!

Had a good supply of most items, were continuously restocking while we were there, & had signs up as to when missing items would be back on shelves. Checkout was almost pleasant, not too long lines.

Found items I couldnt find in other stores.

Clean, modern, helpful people. They always have what I need and it is very convenient.

Love the local shopping and great sales!

Cheapest place to get yuengling

This Food Lion has recently updated and I enjoy the renovations. The store looks clean and more open. I also have noticed since the update, the staff seems to be more concentrated on customer service. I had a small issue and they went beyond what I expect to resolve my issue.

Doesnt always have the best deals on drinks and when I went they were out of stock on they type of drink I wanted. Need to keep more things in stock better,other than that the store was clean and staff was polite.

Nice and clean store with wide well lit aisles. The staff are very friendly and always greet you with a smile and hello. They always are willing to help you find what you are looking for. Overall its my favorite Food Lion in the area and a pleasure to shop at for all of our grocery needs.

It’s one of the only supermarkets around that I can get in and out of quickly. They almost always have enough cashiers and are attentive to opening more lanes when the need arises. The store is clean and it’s priced fairly competitively (though not necessarily the cheapest).

This Food Lion is the perfect neighborhood grocery store! They always have everything you need. Its clean and the checkout lines are always very fast!

Nice local Food Lion off Bell Creek rd.,convenient stop on the way home. Usually not too crowded,friendly associates and a very clean store. Only complaint- no discounted,close to expiration items in deli case. Other than that great store with affordably priced goods.👍

Clean. People are very kind. Vegetables and fruits are very good normally. Meats and chicken on the medium quality end (no grass fed beef nor organic chicken selections). Lunch meat is good and fast service. All service is very good. Store organization is very good and doesnt change a lot. Minimal seafood selection. This could be the best Food Lion in the Richmond area and Ive been to many of them. Prices are the best from competing chain stores. For the same amount of food at competing stores, I save at least $20 on a $100 purchase without coupons. i.e. I would have spent at least $20 more at a competing store.

This Food Lion is located at 8319 Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville, Virginia and it really tries its best. Recent renovations make it a nice place to shop and they have a good selection of staples like milk, bread, fruit and veggies, cereals, beer, wine and such.Not a mega-store like the Kroger over on 360, but it has all the basics we need and is not as obnoxiously huge and hard to find things like that Kroger either.Prices seem pretty good here too. Since it isnt as busy as the super-stores, there really are not a lot of lines that you have to deal with either.Need something that everyone carries? This is the place to get it for an affordable price without having to wait in line to get out of the store.

By far one of the nicest and well stocked Food Lion stores around. Also the most friendly staff of most grocery stores you can go in. We love shopping here.

This actually is one of the nicer Food Lions Ive been in. I dont care for the one in Ashland anymore..... I feel like the quality of produce has gone down, they dont carry as much as they used to when they were in the old location. The checkout owls are ridiculously small. So I now go in every Food Lion but the one in Ashland and will definitely go in this one when Im back in the area.

Its a food lion, so you know its not overly clean and the employees are typical food lion associates. On the other hand, if you are heading by and need a quick item or two, its an ok stop. Certainly not where you would want to go for your regular grocery shopping.update: they are in the process of remodeling, so maybe the store will get a much needed face lift. The parking lot has already been redone. Unfortunately, they must have gotten a bargain on painting the stripes. The use of dotted lines, solid lines. yellow and white lines and the marking of fire lanes doesnt follow any standard and makes the lot confusing and risky for new patrons.
