The employees are the best here. They always help me to the car and take the electric cart back to the store. There are always employees around to ask for help if needed. Best grocery store in Mechanicsville.

Always nice and clean and the aisles arent too crowded to navigate like at other stores. Produce has always been fresh.

Publix is usually the most expensive grocery in town. However, if you watch prices and follow the weekly sale ads, you can find better deals. This week it was NY strip choice steaks for $8.99 a pound and loin lamb chops for the same low price. They have excellent cold cuts at the deli. Their produce and bakery are exceptional.

Plenty of parking and sanitized baskets. Well stocked. Super clean. Great produce. Super fresh food. Easy to navigate the store. Not much visibility within the store in terms of clerks, but everyone seemed friendly at checkout.

Public to shop if you Need something quick. Some prices are good some way to high.

This is the first time Ive been to Publix in years since moving away from Florida I still love their rotisserie chickens in there custom-made sandwiches. They have a great food selection of high quality foods but you can expect to pay a bit more for this quality. Overall its a great supermarket.

Very nice grocery market with the addition of the ability to get precooked food. Very clean and nice customer service. Even the greeter was very kind and not awkward at the time of my visit. I wouldve given more than 4 stars, however ever review cannot be 5 stars. But, I would definitely shop there if I lived in the area.

I stopped here to pick up meat for dinner. Luckily I purchased two packs of four burger patties. The first package I opened appeared fine; I happened to see the bottom of a patty and it was dark grey brown. The rotten meat color was on 3/4 of the one side of the patties. Once I made this horrific discovery I inspected the remaining three and they were just as bad! This four pack of Burger patties was almost $14!!

Great store! Monte, the assistant grocery manager, is an excellent example of the Publix culture. The middle of the store (and his customers!) benefit from his exceptional leadership.

It was fine until we checked the receipt and found that Josh our cashier had charged us 17+ dollars for mangoes that were on sale for 5 for a dollar.

Customer service is fantastic, so good I decided to start using the Publix in Kitty Hawk. Unfortunately the Kitty Hawk Publix was a completely different experience, so we went back to our regular store Harris Teeter and Farm Fresh

I ordered a birthday cake for my wifes birthday and the opener who made it did it wrong, luckily Publix employs amazing people and Virginia helped make it right and make an ice cream cake on the spot. Customer service is not dead.

Publix never disappoints. Always the most fresh veggies and fruits, which is important as we try to avoid the less healthful foods when possible. Always friendly staff and someone willing to help you.

Publix is a pretty good store. They tend to have some things you wont find in other stores.The bakery and deli have some good options. I didnt visit the deli at this location, but I know at some others you can get made to order sandwiches.They seem to have a large following, so check it out and see if its the place for you.

Ive been shopping at Publix for about 18 months. At first, I really liked it. They carried certain items that other stores didnt, like Dickinsons jams and Luigis Italian Ices in MANGO flavor (theyre so good!!). But Ive become very dissatisfied over the past six months. They are routinely out of stock on really basic items, like Dannon lowfat Vanilla yogurt. I end up having to go to another store to get what I need and thats a real waste of time. My solution is to cut out Publix and go to a store that carries the things I buy

This store is always clean, well stocked and staffed. Though I dont use the service, I like that they always offer to load your vehicle and I especially like that an employee is always at the front to offer a clean shopping cart. Employees also take the time to ask about my experience and make polite small talk. These qualities make this my preferred grocery store.

It has come to my attention that cashiers don’t mind their business here and assume that patrons are on food stamps. I wouldn’t want to patronize a place like this.

There fresh deli, had really fresh & good chicken strips and choice of two sides for $6.99. was good to eat before Grocery shopping. Have been shopping for a family and others at times. I havent been to a grocery store in soo many years where the employees take the time to ask how youre doing, can they help with anything and then at checkout ask about your day!! This is one of the new breed of upscale grocery stores. Its a bright, clean store with a good selection and plenty of employees who are held to a high service standard. On the flip side, its pretty expensive when compared to other options. Luckily, Mechanicsville has a surprising amount of grocery stores to choose from. Choose to spend more to enjoy this type of store or to save grocery money and explore the other options.

Love to buy what I want and not have worry about the items being sold out. Also, if I need something and dont know where it is, the people there are the most friendly and helpful group Ive ever known

Store is very focused on customer service and sanitation. They clean your cart as you come in and the self checkout after each use. Produce and seafood are excellent quality. This store reminds me of Ukrops. Staff are always ready to help with a smile.

My first time at Publix, I was greeted 2 times before I made it into the store. The woman at the deli was delightful. I dont think I past an employee that didnt ask me if I needed help. I heard other employees being asked questions and I never heard Sorry, that isnt my dept instead they walked with them across the store or got the attention of the butcher for the customer and asked the question. The store was well stocked, Lots of things about. The aisles were faced perfectly and this was a Saturday afternoon. I was greeted at the register, another man even unloaded my cart. When I had an issue and wanted to remove an item that I thought was another price, they offered to go check for me, but NEVER gave me an attitude even if I felt bad at my own mistake. GREAT store. Best customer service I have ever received at a grocer.
