I ordered a cake a week ahead for my son 8 years birthday. And I called two days before the pickup day and confirm the cake order is in to pickup on Saturday. Went to pick up the cake on Saturday, the bakery manager told me there is no order on her computer. even though, I showed her my order confirmation email. Then she gave me an options either choose a cake for pre made one or we can make it in 20 minutes. Since I wanted the cake I ordered, I told her I will come back in two hours to pickup the cake. Brought the cake and it was very disappointing .The cake I ordered didn’t much with the one I got. Plus, the icing came off when we try to cut the cake also the inside was very dray . It was terrible experience. The bakery manager is very unprofessional and rude. I will never order a cake at Kroger again. I am going to speak to the store manager today.
The cooked grocery store sushi from this particular location is the best cooked sushi Ive ever had from a grocery store. Havent tried their raw sushi yet. This location also has a great selection in general and has a lot more than the Kroger thats nearer to me. The Saturday night crew is always great at this location.
First visit here yesterday. Big produce department but select fruit and vegetable freshness was questionable (especially beefsteak tomatoes). Deli was good and sushi was very good. Food aisles well stocked (5 PM visit). Checkout was painful. Started in a full service checkout lane, but line was not moving. Frustrated, I moved to self checkout. I had a number of larger sized items, which won’t fit in the single ply small bags. I asked the employee working in the area if I could just scan the items, and just put them back in the cart, and was told no. Instead, I had to place them on a shelf above the bags until I finished paying, forcing me to touch everything twice. For me, nothing is morefrustrating than a store making it hard for me to pay…and this Kroger made it harder than it should have been. For that reason, not likely to return.
I want to thank the Kroger Deli Staff for helping make my churchs Homecoming event completely amazing, flavorful, enjoyable this past Sunday September 12th 2021!!!!!Kudos to Sky Marcus and his exemplary team for their amazing and timely service with an most tasty & satisfying fried & baked culinary delight!!!!
Store is great. But I get really annoyed when I walk up to a door and there are employees hanging around being really loud and filling the doorway up with cigarette smoke and vape. Feels like I’m walking into a club.
This is one my favorite Kroger stores North of the river. The bakery never disappoints me, bagels & donuts are excellent! Also great spot for birthday cakes. I cannot leave great seafood & produce department.
On several occasions produce is moldy. Shoppers are rude. Store is too spaced out, stressful shopping experience each time I go.
Love shopping here. You get really good choices here. Everything is there. A pleasant shopping experience
WOW thank you to the employee who returned the two tins with money in them! I brought all the coins I’ve been collecting for the past year to get counted. I had two tins and it came up to 110$ When I left it was late at night and I didn’t see the black tins in the cart. I looked everywhere and might have thought I left it. I went and asked and sure enough an employee turned it in with all the money in the tin! Thank you so much!
Always clean but always packed
I Got the COVID vaccine on 5/7/21 at the Little Clinic. The staff was great, and the wait time was minimum. The only issue I have is that my upper arm is so sore, making it difficult for me to lift at all! Hopefully, the pain and soreness will go away very soon!Update: Pain is gone. However, I would not recommend Pfizer for a child from 12-15 years of age due to intense pain in arm, weakness in legs and body aches that my 17year old son experienced . Also he has a history of NO medical illness!
So bad !! Literally rotten meats and moldy vegetables and fruits. I wish I can post pictures here. I just bought this morning raspberries are completely moldy and rotten chicken.
Good selection and underwhelming customer service. Kroger will not let me return items. Shortly after the pandemic started Kroger stopped accepting returns. I bought a kitchen gadget opened it and realized that it was too small to use for anything practical. When I tried to take it back immediately, minutes later, I was told that Kroger was not accepting any returns at the moment. No problem. From that point forward I used exclusively Kroger pickup, to maintain maximum safety with the pandemic. Today I finally ventured into a Kroger again in Mechanicsville. Before I started shopping I saw that customer service was accepting returns. I waited in line patiently for about 20 minutes. When I got to the counter the employee informed me that I could not return anything more than two weeks old. So now I have various items from my pickup orders that I cannot use. Beyond frustrating.ADDITIONALLY: There is no enforcement in this Kroger about masks at all. While I was waiting in line at customer service, approximately half the people that I could see in the checkout lines as well as some employees are all wearing masks below their nose. With a newborn in tow, I felt completely unsafe staying in the store. I left promptly.
I had been going to the Kroger on Staples Mill but finally stopped because the customer service at checkout was so bad. When I was looking for another grocery store to go to, I found this Kroger location close by so I thought I would give this location a try. What a difference. The employees here are fantastic. The cashiers are so friendly its amazing. Kroger should think about having some of their Staples Mill employees come here for training. As for this location, keep up the great work.
I wanted to thank the gentleman named Matt for his kind attention in assisting me and groceries from the handicapped scooter to the car in the pouring rain. He procured an umbrella and helped me transfer from the scooter to the car easily. He turned what could have been quite a wet ordeal Into a dry pleasant experience . Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
Do not get your COVID vaccine from Kroger Marketplace Rutland in Mechanicsville. They make you wait forever. It took me 1 hour.
Absolutely awful experience with Kroger Market place! Will never step foot in that place ever again. I had an online grocery pickup ordered and went to pick it up after work and I waited for my order for 50 minutes!!! I called a few different times, I understand it can get busy at times, waiting wasnt a problem but not for almost an hour! That is unexceptable in my opinion. The employees that kept answering the phone when I simply wanted an update on the amount of time remaining until it was my turn were extremely rude to me and I had no idea why. I asked to speak to a manager and I have yet to hear back from anyone!!! Will definitely take my business elsewhere from now on.
Wider variety of waterVeggies are always fresh
This supermarket is amazing. They offer so much. Really clean and organized. Love the baby section, the toys, the ability to get coffee while Im shopping. Started referring everyone to come here.
I am a regular shopper at the Kroger Rutland Marketplace in Mechanicsville, VA. I wanted to recognize a specific employee from the seafood department, a man named Roosevelt. He always greets every customer with a smile and a kind word. He is patient with each person and assists them in their selection of fish. On a particular visit a few weeks ago, I was gathering items for a seafood boil. I couldnt locate the Old Bay seasoning on any shelf, so I asked Roosevelt for assistance. He explained that they were currently out of the seasoning, but prepared a small amount for me from his supply behind the counter. I couldnt thank him enough! He saved my Fathers Day cookout. Roosevelt is a truly special employee who enjoys his job and goes above and beyond for his customers. I enjoy my trip to the seafood counter each week just to say hello. He deserves recognition and praise. Thank you!
So while I love all that this Kroger has to offer. But the customer service needs so much work! Over the past month or so while doing my grocery shopping I know when I have to check out I have my choice of self check out or to be checked out by a cashier. Since we always have a large cart full and to be honest I’m not to tech savvy with those self check outs I always choose a line with a cashier. My cashier is almost always kind and doing their best to keep up. It is the fact they have no one to bag the groceries for them. I or my husband end up having to bag our groceries while keeping an eye on kids and unloading the cart to have the groceries scanned and the poor cashier is doing her best to scan and help bag to. Mean while I see several employees standing around staring off into space or looking right at us and the cashier who needs help and walk away!!! And your floor manager has done the same!!!!! He watched his employee struggle to keep up even with my husbands help. Mean while he’s eating in the store and drinking his soda in-front of us and having a nice chat with another employee laughing and joking! And when my husband says something to him he is sarcastic and unhelpful!!! If I wanted to bag my own groceries and scan them I would have done self check out. But I think the people who utilize the self check out don’t want a women with two weeks worth of groceries in front of them taking for ever to scan and bag her own groceries.
Visited this place to grab a couple of drinks, ran into a issue in the self checkout. This cause great confusion and anxiety, but thats okay, Drew was already patrolling the self check out ready to assist immediately, sadly Drew couldnt distinguish the difference between a energy drink and a brewski and got confused and flustered himself, but he was able to tell my buddy his ID expires next year, go get em Trooper Drew!
Not my favorite grocer, but will go there to get things I cant elsewhere. Its okay, just not my favorite. Now a bit out of my way.
Worst customer service in the country! Dirty restrooms! Never clean! When it rains, buckets are placed all over the store. Overheard management communicating to quit because employees were calling out. Constantly hear front end staff expressing their negative emotions about Kroger as a company. Staff always leaves self check out unattended while machines require attention. Most employees complain about the company politics with other employees. You stand their and wait for them to finish because you come second to company gossip. This is not one occasion, it is daily! This is the norm at Kroger and other customers have clearly expressed their needs and concerns with staff and management who prove to brush this off as you see it over and over. Employees swear and are confrontational. I wonder if anyone at Kroger is even concerned about bad reviews? Is this the best Kroger and staff can do? We are enjoying better grocery stores in the region like Wegmans, Trader Joes, Foodlion, even Publix. Kroger get it together and behave professionally!
Avoid this one if possible. Arab Lady who runs the self check out is argumentative and rude, every time i come in shes arguing with a customer or telling them they are wrong. She smells fowl too someone needs to explain to her the benefits of antiperspirant. Besides that the customer service is lack luster, the store itself is good but their are better ones in the area that are way better managed with decent staff and their are other stores that are not as nice but they have great customer service that makes up for it . Just proves the old adage of just because something is new doesnt make it better.
An employee named Mechelle saw me set back a few none perishable items that I didn’t have enough money for down my the checkout instead of losing my place in line and returning to the correct spot. My mother was waiting for me outside in the 100 degree heat so I was in a hurry. She replied did you set these here? I said yes... she said very snotty “next time try putting them back where they go..” and snatched them up aggressively and strutted off. She also tried to cover her named tag when I looked. What an embarrassing experience I won’t be going back due to one single employee
Do your own shopping. I tried the pickup option, and the shopper did a poor job. The blueberries were molded, the frozen foods were defrosted, and the produce was not selected according to my instructions. I wrote detailed instructions, but they must not read them. Thought I would give this a try, but its not worth it. I have a call into them, lets see if they make it right. Waiting for that call.........
Went for 0715 this Sunday am. The store was packed with people panic buying & frantic. Shelves were not restocked . One person literally pushed past a young Mom with a toddler in the carriage to get a canned good.Check out & self checkout were loaded with people not keeping their distance. Sorely discouraged with the store & the patrons that frequent this store.
Have a good selection in pretty fresh produce however the last four times Ive been in Ive noticed a little bit of inconsistency and whether things work with their pricing for example today I purchased meat and a candy bar the meat was supposed to be $13.82 says on the package Kroger Plus rewards save $4.26 new price with card was supposed to be $9.56 you add in my candy bar for a dollar 25 explain to me why when I got home my receipt shows that I was charged more than $17 I went back and started thinking about it and looking at some of my old receipts this isnt the first time this has happened but yet when I look at the receipt it does show that my Kroger points card did go through... it would be one thing if it only happened once add save Assembly mislabeled Product or a glitch theres this point Im calling it a scam
This is a great Kroger. All the employees are friendly and offer to help without me asking. I will drive extra to go to this grocery store.
Great store with a wide variety of items from generic to obscure! Their deli, seafood and cheese sections are very well stocked. Unfortunately, the new self serve registers they installed by the salad / hot bar are never open especially during the lunch and dinner rush times which makes it very frustrating if you are on a limited lunch hour and just want to grab a quick bite!
This Kroger was nice when it first opened, but in the past couple years it has gotten so bad that we no longer shop here even though it is the closest grocery for us. Too few small shopping carts, too few brands replaced by Kroger brands, black beans, Dove Dark Chocolates, etc... (I could go on and on) all priced around 50% more than other grocers. This grocery is just plain poorly managed. I dont know if it is at the local level or corporate pushing this.
This just about the pharmacy my first time. I got her to help me use my good RX and she picked the $282.00 pills over the $6.10 did not care to tell me to talk to my doctor did not ask me if I had insurance. I left and figured out I was going on. Had to go back to speak to the supervisor to get it for the lower price. I wish I never need to come back but when I have no insurance Good Rx works.
I shop there most of the time and use their click list. With that said, obviously I like the store and staff.Friendly atmosphere. My main criticism, hire more cashiers and staff and hopefully they are paid enough, to sustain them.
Decided to go to Krogers to get purchase a large Gourmet cupcake and have coffee with my lady. Came to find out they no longer carry the cupcakes.😢😢 she never tried them and I was really bragging on them but we made the best of it. God, love and good conversation👆❤💬.... Save the Day!PS... She did like the chocolate store made cupcakes..1👍
Well stocked, with mostly hospitable staff. The place is large, so shopping there is an ordeal. Best to go in there with a list and exit plan.
Quality brands at reasonable prices. Convenient to home with fresh produce, meats and seafood.Wells Fargo, Wendys, Starbucks and Kroger Gas are all on-site. Its a one-stop n shop for me.
This store has a variety of items including organic and fresh, clothing, amazing parking (during my hours anyways), a curbside grocery program that is amazing, and the staff is amazingly kind. Amidst a meltdown of my toddler a cashier was so kind it brought me joy and broke my heart at the same time. I am not used to people taking meltdowns well and that cashier is the only reason I shop here. She made me feel welcomed on a bad day and she showed me the normalcy of my mom experience. She deserves some sort of medal.
This store is very responsive to reviews and suggestions. I left a comment about the store running out of items, and have not had a problem since. Also, I asked the store manager if they had raisin nut bran, which they didnt. The next time I came in, they had it. I appreciate the responsiveness to customer input.
Kroger has the misfortune of following the footsteps of the Ukrops stores in this market. They were very well run and local. Kroger does a close imitation in many areas, but has expanded into clothing, jewelry and furniture. Personally, I find it distracting as now do not see the same variation in food products they once stocked. I still prefer shopping at this Kroger over other stores in the area, but would like to see them get back to their roots and focus on excellent food products.
Kroger has quality products for great prices. Plus the Kroger fuel discounts and if you use coupons they double every one up to ¢50 which is also pretty cool. I dont really see the point in the Marketplace aspect - do people really buy jewelry and clothes from the grocery store? Apparently some do. Its also always clean and well organized. I love Kroger!
Good, found everything I needed and more. Thats a big store but the staff is helpful & friendly. And, because of alot of checkouts - the shopping trip is completed quickly.
It is very frustrating shopping at this store for the following reasons:There are many items overpriced!Expensive - Bushs seasoned black bean cost $.89 at Publixs and $1.29 at Kroger9 oz bag Dove Dark chocolates at Target $3.99 and $5.49 at KrogerSanta Margarita Wine $24.49 at Kroger and 17.77 at Total Wine. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point, and you can look up prices yourself to confirm.Kroger Brand -The majority of things are Kroger brand. For example you cant buy Nabisco Ginger Snap anymore. Only Kroger brand. If you want Gingersnaps, I hope you like the expensive Kroger brand. Take a look at the cheese...Kroger brand, Kroger brand, Kroger brand! Yes, there were two packs of Sargento cheese out of hundreds of Kroger brand cheeses, which was so expensive it almost forces you to buy Kroger unless you have money to just throw away! Or, you could go to where they have specialty cheeses and spend even more money!Grocery Carts- Lately, there are only large grocery baskets, so I guess they want you to fill up large baskets since the smaller carts are never available!Difficult finding things - Lastly, nothing make sense in how they have organized the store! You spend so much time wandering around looking for things that are on aisles that dont make any sense.I use to like this Kroger until they reorganized the store (now it is disorganized), most items became Kroger brands, and the prices keep going up and up! Very expensive place to shop! I am going to shop where it is convenient/best deals, and that is not at Kroger!
Kroger has good selection of food at decent prices. Most local stores are well staffed. There are a few exceptions. Liberal return policy. Coupons good if you dont forget the digital clipping. Love the gas discounts.
They keep rearranging the layout of the store. You get frustrated searching for your groceries. The aisles are consistently blocked by the restock crew where you cant maneuver around them and the sense of urgency in most cases doesnt exist to accommodate the customer, the reason for your success. The senior discount is gone. This loyal following has plenty of choices in the area to pick from . The Rutland detour has created a stay away from this location because of the traffic without a traffic signal. The convenient kiosk for your deli order is consistancy out of order. The deli experience is very time consuming when you are dashing in on the way home. On a good note and the reason I have been a loyal customer since the day you opened is your prices and quality of products cannot be beat by a long shot. One more thing. Every visit to shop, you can be 100% sure that a sale item will have a big empty space. In all categories. I dont like to return to cross my fingers that maybe it will be in. One stop shopping with confidence is what a loyal consumer should expect.
Very disappointed with the cleanliness and Covid-19 precuations.
Wish they had a natural foods section. Really dont like the new arrangement that uses green signs to designate natural food options in the various departments. It seems like a lot of the selection was lost. Otherwise, great store.
One of my favorite Krogers to shop in. I love the fresh veggies and fruit. The olive bar always has what I want and I love the cheeses they offer. Sushi is amazing and the Starbucks inside is a major plus.
Ive been shopping here since its open, everyone enjoyed the senior discount. However they recently lowered the prices. The staff is great and I continue to shop there.
Service could be much faster if employees would put down there cell phone and do there job. phones should not be allowed except on thear breaks.
This is a great improvement over the store in Mechanicsville . A lot more less congested. Everyone was very nice and friendly.EVERYONE spoke to you; regardless of what their job was. A much better place to spend my money!
Shopping for Thanksgiving dinner usually is a trial for my patience, but my experience today shopping at Kroger was a breeze. The store was well stocked and had every item on my list. Best of all, no long wait to check out!
The store is always very clean and the staff is friendly. They are always willing to stop what they are doing to help out their customer. It is a very busy store during peak hours, so going at another time is better for you if you dont like packed aisles. Because they are such a busy location its good to go before the weekend or after theyve restocked otherwise, some product may be out.
Flies all over the meat in the deli...must do something else. 🤮
Last two times I’ve gone it smelled like a septic tank blew up - not sure what that’s about. Not even sure if it’s safe to breathe whatever that smell is. Self checkout person glared at me the entire time for unknown reasons and refused to acknowledge me when I smiled at her. This place used to be my favourite place to go but lately it’s just been strange
The biggest Kroger I have ever seen. They offer more than groceries here. The staff is very helpful. This place is not for the quick grocery trip, there is too much to look at.
Great store!! They offer a huge array of different brands and the staff is super awesome. I love to shop here.
Pharmacy:Waited 20 minutes inline for 3 people ahead of me at 7:45pmMedication costed 100% more then Walgreens charged me last month for the same medication. I’m not exaggerating the percent of increaseThere was a plastic puller in the bag I had to ask.The rubber piece that goes into the bottle, enabling mess free use of the puller; they were out of.Double the money, quadruple the wait time, incomplete comments to use medication .Update:Taste so bad it makes me want to vomit.Walgreens tasted like sweet banana.
How long does it take to restock toilet paper and other paper products.I can understand a shortage for a week but this has been a month.
Its very busy because of the season however their staff are always eager to help you find things. They walk you to the item, very helpful.
We save a lot here but it is also organized. The staff are friendly and helpful. On the one occasion my order wasnt as expected they quickly fixed it and I was compensated. We have used Clicklist and shopped at this location but I prefer shopping at the location. Our family of 6 benefit greatly from this location.
One of the better Krogers. Love their prices, selection and lots of good private brands. This big store even has clothes and a gas station. Much better stocking than other local Kroger stores.
Employees are either awful (not knowledgeable, act like youre bothering them) or overly helpful (no, I dont need help to my car with one bag, thanks). Produce isnt great, lots of flies that come home with me, annoyingly. Deli can be painfully slow, so use the kiosk.Bought something there and got home to realize it had literally expired a year prior. The home goods section would be nice if anything were priced reasonablyBasically I only go here because its the only option within a reasonable distance of my house.
To everyone raving about this stores cleanliness, see the photo I posted of the disgusting shelves in the snack aisle. Its not a terrible store... but the extra offerings in Marketplace are not helpful except for cards and gift wrap. I live around the corner but only come here for essentials... the Wegmans in Short Pump is better in every way (prices, selection, produce, quality employees...and cleanliness).
Full sized & service Kroger. Great produce dept. Lots of organic items at fair prices.
Got a piece done by the apprentice and I was his first color tattoo he did a great job...I will be back. Clean environment and I cant wait for my next one!
I love the sales kroger has, buy 5 get 5 dollars off . All the sales are great, but they dont translate at the register. Every time I go I get ripped off, end up having to go back to the store for returns. Im very careful, even going as far as putting sale items in a separate cart. Today, the difference was 19.03, thats a lot of money to me. Imagine all the people who just assume there getting the sale price and walk out, I always check my receipt. Kroger is making a bundle.
The Prices range from fair to excellent. Most of the people who work there are very friendly customer service oriented. This Kroger from time to time does have an awful smell due to some grate that doesnt get cleaned enough
I have been shopping at Kroger since it opened off Atlee Station Road even before they made the store a giant marketplace. Btw I much preferred shopping there when it was smaller. So much easier to find things and didnt have to walk from one end of the store to the other end to get the basics. Anyway, I shop there mainly because they have a good selection of organics and their prices on organics about the best around. However, I cant think of one time I have shopped there that I havent left the store feeling annoyed and ticked off. The store is really busy all the time and I understand that they have stock shelves, etc. to keep up with the demand, but they take it too far. They have people stocking shelves, doing some kind of inventory, and my favorite, abandoned stocking carts in the isles, and you have to maneuver around them and other shoppers in the narrow isles they provide just to get an item that you want. Also dont like the offset isles. Thats just annoying. I will say one thing, once you are in the chekout isle they check you out very fast and after dealing with the above, all you want to do is get out of there! So thanks for that, really. So, I think 3 stars is a fair rating, again they have a good selection and good prices. That being said, though, I hear rumors that they are planning to rearrange the store again. That may be the final straw for me if they do that.
No matter what time I try click list I’m waiting 30+ minutes. It makes more sense to go in and get my groceries myself. Not sure how they’re operating the different time slots but it’s definitely not working or worth using!
The largest supermarket in the area by far. I like the selection, non-sale prices arent exceptional, but the sale prices tend to be quite good. Which leads me to my biggest complaint; because this is busy store, and because theres no item limit on the number of sale times you can get in a single visit, sale items, particularly on frozen or non-perishable items tend to sell out quickly, and maybe get restocked once a week, meaning that if you have a full time job, it can be difficult to obtain sale items. Just the other day, I was there, and there was sale on All detergent. I saw two women pile 20-30 jugs of the stuff into two carts. Of course this meant there was none left for other customers. Usually theres 2 or 3 items on my weekly shopping list that are going to be on sale, and about 3 out of 4 times those items will be sold out. This is annoying, and could be easily rectified simply by have a limit on the number of sale items you can get at one time. Instead, I have to make a 2nd stop at the competing supermarket down the street and pick up what was sold out at the huge Kroger. This has been an ongoing problem for years, and honestly if it werent for the fuel point program, I would probably just shop somewhere else. The other minor complaints are that parking is rough. And there are a lot of pretentious people who feel its perfectly acceptable to park in the fire lane in front of the store while loading or unloading groceries or simply just waiting for someone to run into the store. Given the amount of pedestrians present, and the number of cars entering and leaving the parking lot, this creates a lot of unnecessary danger. The store is very, very busy on weekends. The good points of this Kroger are the helpful staff, the aforementioned selection of goods, the fuel point program, while not perfect, is pretty good, and its in a convenient location. Despite the amount of business this store gets, check out lines are usually pretty short, its not as bad as you would guess given the number of customers in the store. Fuel prices, even without any fuel point discount are usually the lowest in the area.
It is a really nice store, not sure if I will shop there anymore Kroger stopped selling Lee Davis Confederate attire, shirts hats and stuff. They should learn about history before making a decision not to do something.Mechanicsville is a county full of Civil War History so the school that the county agreed to keep the name Kroger should still sell the school attire as they do other county schools.
This store is constantly in a state or reorganization and with each reorg fewer grocery options are offered. Too much emphasis and real estate is given to stuff like the jewelry store, clothing, and other non grocery items. The shelves are often bare because day stocking is lacking. I used to love Kroger but am looking forward to Publix opening in the area.
Went for Little clinic. Fast service. They have clothes jewelry and a large selection of foods. Neat and clean
Great prices and wide variety of choices, including favorite Ukrops items. But navigating the store can be confusing -- aisles are changing regularly but signage doesnt always change. Things are not always where you would expect them to be.
I really do like this store, but they really need to get rid of some of the staff, move them to other departments, or they need to be trained in better customer service. Ive seen too many people come and go out of this store, and perhaps some of the wrong people hired. The self service hot bar is the worst and its not just in this store....taste and variety. Take a look at Wegmans.
Good variety of food and brands and friendly staff. Beer section could use a few more options but the wine selection is fantastic.
This Kroger is not a regular Kroger grocery store but a Kroger Marketplace. This means it is a grocery store with clothing and shoes for the whole family, pharmacy and a jewelry store. I have experienced a level of customer service that is unmatched by even other Krogers, other grocery stores cant even come close. Biggest plusses are they are very happy to issue rain checks and honor your coupons. It is well worth the drive, I assure you.
Best quality fresh produce in the area. Huge watermelons in May!! Great outdoor eating area is perfect for afternoon meeting
Beautiful store. was easy to find items a d the cashier Shannon was so friendly!
Kroger is my favorite grocery store. We can get groceries for a family of 7 for way less than anywhere else. The people who work here are wonderful, always ready to lend a hand.
Very pleasant. The worker was friendly and thats what I like. I found everything and more .I was on a limited time EXCELLENT!
Staff very helpful. Store clean and organized. First time to this store and I was very satisfied.
This is my closest and favorite Kroger store! They are always clean, staff is super friendly and shelves always stocked. Its out of the way for my dtive home. But well worth it!
Nice store, great selection. Well laid out and clean. Prices were good, but be sure to bring your Kroger discount card.
Katie was great at the checkout and knew exactly what I needed to get in order to complete my order. Great job Katie keep up the good work
Kroger has a huge footprint. Be ready for extended time if you just want a few items. Prepared food is an A+. The dummys built the parking lot to small.
More like wal mart everyday. Empty shelves, out of date product, jam up in aisles when crowded. Buckets in aisles catching roof water. Used to be better. I believe it went down after expanding. Be sure to check the date on products. Many out of date products on shelves.
Very consistent, good
Sunday shopping at this Kroger is always chaotic. It seems as if every aisle is crowed and busy. The shelves are empty of the items I usually buy. The small amount of employees cant get the shelves restocked fast enough. You have to request items from the back if they have it available. I didnt bother with the produce section this time because I was already overwhelmed. However, great store on other days.
This store has been recently remolded. The staff is super friendly. Products are always in stock when I shop here. Curbside pick up is a big bonus!!
The best grocery chain in Richmond Va. Product, bake goods and meat department. are all Quality a awesome place to shop...Better then Walmart!!
This store is big. I had a hard time finding polenta, and employees were no help.We were checking out and my son was not doing well. He was out of patience and we tried to leave soon. Around 6:30 we checked out, line 14 I think, with Christine. This was a huge mistake. She was having a long conversation with the lady in front of us. We already had everything on the belt so no turning back. My son was yelling a little, bored an antsy.Christine started ringing stuff up finally. I started bagging- I want to get my kid home as it’s way past his dinner time already. Christine starts being really rough with our groceries chucking them down the conveyer (wth). My wife puts the card in. Christine asks if we have our card, I say yes and tell my wife the number- oops too late guys. She says something like “I appreciate you helping bag, but if you don’t have your number in soon enough no discount. You shoulda done that! I already pushed the button. You shoulda put it in earlier. You can wait in that line and someone can put your number in.” I went to that counter and nobody showed up for ten minutes. Employees walked by me to check out and deliberately avoided me because it was time to check out.Not only does it seems like these employees don’t care or are bitter, but Christine was like actively vindictive, tossing our groceries, making a snide comment and then costing me like 25$ because of the Kroger card. We had to get out of there, never did get it straight and went home upset. It’s a shame, the ukrops sub I got was good and my wife like the sushi she got. It’s a huge store with everything but what a sad, slow, frustrating, and surprisingly expensive experience. And booooo Christine.
I love their selection but almost always end up bagging my own groceries or wishing I had. On one occasion they put canned goods in the San bag with my doughnuts. When I called to bring this to their attention the solution they offered was for me.to return to the store and they would replace the doughnuts and give me a $5 gift card. No thanks. How bout you do a better job of training your employees. I rarely visit this location now. It used to be the only place.I went.
Food is fresh. Fresh seafood..Employees are polite and courteous. Great sales!
Love this store!! Friendly staff, always has what I need in stock. Nice to be able to pick up a new blouse or pair of jeans here too!!
Its a nice store but the constant updating and construction is annoying! Im having to relearn where everything is. Ive stopped going there because of that! Aside from that nice place friendly staff!
Well stocked mega supermarket. Kroger Market offers many immenities from fresh produce to finger licking bakery items.
Even for being So busy all the time they keep the lines moving nicely
