I had called Uhaul to get my tow-hitch done, they said they didn’t have a tow-hitch ready for my truck, scheduled the next week after that. Still didn’t have it, then called Bob Kidd Hitch, and got it scheduled right away. They did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a tow-hitch!

BOB KIDD HITCH SAVED ME!!! After uhaul fell through on its promise I was stuck in Knoxville after losing my job and just trying to get home. After calling and explaining my situation they made arrangements to have me taken care of and on my way home in half the time originally promised by uhaul. I was having trailer brake issues that were driving me crazy. If they were looking at my rv, they were saying it was my truck. If looking at my truck, they were blaming the rv. Kevin at Bob Kidd Hitch did a free test to check my trailer plug on my truck. Everything tested good, as it had at the dealer. I called Kevin several times over the next few weeks trying to find where the issue was. Decided to install a new plug on the truck to see if that solved the issue. At first, it appeared the plug was good, but when the new plug was installed, the real issue was finally identified. There was a bad wiring harness that plugged into the back of the trailer plug itself. Kevin worked with me to get me done quickly for a camping trip, even though they were booked up for days. I highly recommend Bob Kidd Hitch for any hitch work you need!

After sitting on hold with another provider, waiting to talk to someone about a hitch and installation, I started searching and found Bob Kidd, hung up and gave him a call. A real person answered the phone and by the end of the call I knew the hitch I was getting, the price and the date and time of my install appointment, which was the next day. When I arrived the hitch was waiting to be installed. They did an excellent job, the vehicle was returned in excellent condition and the owner was great talking with. No disappointments. My car was shaking and my dad referred me to this place, I live in Knoxville. They got me in the same morning I called, knew it was shaking before I even said anything! They were honest and told me I only needed the front done, took an hour or so, and runs like a beauty! The owner and employee were super friendly and we shared a good laugh. Honest, good people! Great service. They take the time to do the job right and do it like it was their own car. They don’t just do the quick half job of tapping into the tail lights ran a direct line from the battery to be sure I had all the power I needed for all my lights. Would not go anywhere else . I needed a tow hitch installed and these guys did an outstanding job. They make you feel at home; they’re honest, friendly and respectable guys. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They installed a mobility cart on my truck about a year ago and didnt charge much. A few months ago I backed the cart into a fence and warped it. They straightened my cart and didnt charge me a dime. Recently Ive had trouble getting the pin to align through the holes to secure the cart in place. Yesterday they drills the holes larger allowing the pin to go through and again didnt charge me one dime. These are the kinds of mom and pop businesses that we must all support and recommend to our family and friends. Highly recommended!!!

Being an older female, I’m apprehensive about taking my car to have work done. Well, I have just had the best experience anyone could hope for. I recently purchased a mobility scooter and needed a lift installed on my SUV as well as a trailer hitch. Long story short, Kevin and Rusty did a fantastic job for me. The service was professional.
