These guys are AWESOME! I had a brake issue at a camp ground nearby. I contacted them late on a Friday and by Saturday afternoon, my brake system was just like new. Straight forward service at a good price.Recently moved to the area and was looking for a good place to take my car. Decided to trust some reviews online and glad I did. My wife took her car in for a simple oil change, just to test it out. About two weeks later I ended up bringing my care in for a little work. Ended up costing less than I expected and they got it done in a few hours, and took my car back as soon as I got it there, at my scheduled appointment time. Unlike some garages where I have experienced them overbooking and constantly having to wait all day for small repairs.Will be bringing my car here in the future!

Now my repair shop of choice. Its an hour and a half drive from my NC home. Even if I had to call for a roll back JRJ would be where my vehicle would be taken. The place is run with military like precision.

After being given the run around and horrible service from Lance Cunningham Ford I dropped my vehicle off at JRJ in Maryville to have them fix my alignment and get my steering wheel straight(I’ll include a picture to show how I left Lance Cunningham Ford) check brakes/rotors and put air in my tire. It took JRJ less than a DAY to fix my issues as to Lance Cunningham Ford 4 to 5 days total of undiagnosed issues and not correcting issues caused by them.JRJ was able to get me in, correct my alignment and get my steering wheel straight. I’ll include a picture of the alignment that shows that Lance Cunningham Ford in fact didn’t even complete in the rear alignment (which was supposed to be included the Ford Recall) JRJ replaced my rotors and brakes, and found a cut in my tire that had low air pressure (which was not caught in Lance Cunningham Ford’s “Courtesy Inspection”) as well and replaced the tire.Thank you so much JRJ for your wonderful service and getting all of my issues resolved. You’ve definitely earned my business.

If 6 stars was an option Id give it to them. Brought in a highly modified BMW for emergency repairs to the suspension, and an alignment. I came up from FL to drive the Dragon with a rally group, and needed the car back for drives planned the rest of the week. The team at JRJ coordinated to get me parts, fresh tires, and installed everything all in the same day. They are friendly with customers and each other, and it was a pleasure to spend time in their shop. Money wasnt an object for me that day, but even so they offered very fair prices for parts and service - even bought me lunch while I waited. Very rare that auto mechanics can meet my standards, but JRJ knocked it out of the park. Thanks very much!

Jim and another guy that was at the desk took well care of me i have no experience with a car and as a first time car owner they didn’t try to scam me or tell me anything that this and that needed to be done when it didn’t they were very honest and completely respectful. Family and I spent the week in Gatlinburg, right before we got to Pigeon Forge the right front brake on our CTS Caddy over heated. I let it cool down and it drove fine to our cabin. The next day I remove the front wheels and replaced the front brake pads, the old pads where half worn. I thought maybe the caliper might be goin bad. The car drove fine the rest of the week. On the way home between Townsend and Maryville had the same issue. Called the road side service people they where having a hard time finding a tow truck and also told me JRJ was in Maryville and gave me the number. I called and spoke to Hiram Cuebas and he told me to bring the car in and he would do his best to help with the brake issue. They had to keep the car a few days they where very busy. Three days later Hiram called me and told me the car was ready they went over the braking system and the only issue they could find was the brakes needed cleaning. they could have easily charged me for new calipers . Picked the car up Hiram didnt charge me a dime I even tried buy his next meal and he wouldnt let me. The car drove fine all they way home 330 miles. I cant find enough words to say how much I appreciate how Hiram and the guys at JRJ helped me. If you are around this area and have car trouble these guys are champs. Thanks again Hiram. Steve

Had a vintage car that had a power issue at a intersection in Maryville. We were able to get the car started but it would not hold the charge. Ben was driving by and stopped to help us. Since we were only a few blocks from our home, Ben hooked up his portable power pack to give the car consistant power and followed me home. Thanks to Bens kindness we were able to get out of the intersection quickly and safely. Thank you for the helping hand.

I was lied to about what was wrong with my car ... Year or so prior the same thing had happened to my car.... The guy had the nerve to tell me that my car was more expensive than I could afford!... And that will be the last time I will patron here!

Have taken two cars to JRJ within this year, both with significant problems beyond my limited repair capabilities - failed engine mounts on my nieces Ford and a leaking thermostat housing on my wifes Mini Cooper. In both cases JRJ got me in right away, quickly diagnosed the problem, and performed the mechanical repairs in a highly competent manner at a very fair price. They even discovered a part that had been left off by the Mini dealership the last time the car was repaired there. In todays world, this shop is a real jewel - great mechanics, reasonable prices and friendly service. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I have a smart car so its hard to find someone who is willing to work on it. Not only did these guys feel comfortable replacing my battery, they told me to go ahead and come an hour and a half before my appointment so I could make sure it wouldnt die again. They ordered the battery and replaced it within the hour. I was out before my scheduled appointment time. They were very helpful and courteous. I will definitely be back for future service.

Excellent so far

I took a 2006 VW Beetle to JRJ. The AC wasnt cold and the engine was stalling and sometimes dying while driving. They replaced the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor, checked the AC system for leaks, and filled it with refrigerant. It is blowing cold air now. The price was reasonable and the service great! I was very impressed with the gentleman that I worked with by the name of Hiram. He seems very knowledgeable and has great people skills. Highly recommended!

As a woman I do not recommend to other women.. Was told my car needed over$1200. In repairs and this was not true, was also told I needed a750.00 part that actually cost 389.00, suggest you check elsewhere glad I did

Im new to town and when my car (2011 Ford Escape) needed an oil change and starting making some seriously wonky noises, I did a quick search of shops in the area. Luckily, the first shop to pop up in my google search was JRJ Auto Search. I called, reported the problems, and made an appointment. The oil was changed and a detailed inspection of the car revealed a few issues that needed to be taken care of. Hiram listed the order of importance for the repairs. He was able to get my car in and repaired in one day! Hiram has a friendly and calm demeanor, which is exactly what I needed. He just made a customer for life. And my car is running like a champ. Was on way home from NC to IL to go back to work after Covid stay at home order lifted. My brake line broke. They had all bays full with 5 more customers ahead of me. Hiram asked one of the guys to check my car quick between jobs to make sure what the problem was. They ordered the part, and surprisingly it got there fast! Then one of the other guys finished the car he was working on, put mine n on the lift and switched out the lines. Im sorry I dont remember the names of the 2 guys that worked on my car. They were all great and I was back on the road quicker than I thought. Made it home by 10pm that night and was able to get to work on time the next morning.Thanks a lot! You guys rock!!

I brought in a wheel hub to get a wheel bearing pressed and forgot a small part and needed them to press it again the next day, fortunately they fixed it free of charge. These guys are great saved me a huge hassle and I greatly appreciate it. Definitely recommend for anyone.🔥👍

This place is a rip off. Asked what they would charge just to hook it up to the computer to get a reading of what is wrong and possibly fix it. They wanted to charge $100 just to get a read on it. Every auto parts place in town does it for free. The guy that we dealt with was extremely rude about it too. Stay away from here.

I am on oxygen so its quite a task for me and it was really hot when we came out of store we almost had FLat tire we pulled into JRJ and they fixed the tire while on car so I wouldnt have to get out in heat. Called them to get a price for front brakes. Was told the rotors cannot be turned and have to be replaced. I called four other brake places and all four told me they can be turned. JRJ Auto Service tried to make extra money off of me. Maybe they would also try to do it to you. What else do they try to fix or replace that doesnt need it? I would not recommend.

I took my wife and two young children to buy a hamster theyd been wanting for months. Upon getting in our vehicle, said hamster leaped from the carrier box and ran under the center console. Nothing we did was enough to entice it out after 90 minutes. I called JRJ and was told to bring it in. They were completely understanding and surprisingly said this wasnt the first time theyd seen something like this. A nice young mechanic stopped what he was doing and spent the next 20 minutes completely removing the center console so we could get to our little guy. They were so courteous and professional and actually refused payment. So we tipped the mechanic who saved little Rollie Pollie and decided from then on we know where we will be going for our auto repair needs.

My 2003 Mini Cooper broke down on a road trip, and my mom and I were towed to JRJ Auto Service. Going there was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. They went above and beyond. Since my car broke down in the evening, we had to stay in Maryville overnight. Jim, the owner, drove us to our hotel and picked us up when my car was fixed. His prices were affordable and the work on my car was extraordinary. Being a young woman with her mom, I didn’t have to worry about being cheated with prices or having a mechanic that would overcharge and tell me there were a million things wrong with my car that absolutely had to be fixed right then and there. They were extremely trustworthy and I would recommend JRJ Auto Service to anyone!

I went to the Kia dealership to check on a starting issue in my 2007 Kia Sedona. I was quoted 1327.00 for an alternator. I called JrJ and they ran another diagnostic test. My starter was starting to go out, and it was third of the price. Great people and great work. I had dropped it off late afternoon, and I had it back earlier in the morning. Great experience!!!!!

Been here a time or two, first time was for a catalytic converter, last time was a check engine light, didnt cost much and service was faster than a rocket going over a football field, very nice people her.

Had the whole rearend changed didnt make it 5miles down the road and noticed the cable for the emergency brake hang down also had some clanging noise coming from rearend and cables or hoses just hanging over the differanchal casing. Brought the truck back to them to fix right the cores or hoses are still hanging down. Needless to say they didnt do a courtesy check that is free BTW because my truck was completely out of oil. I would definitely not recommend anyone to come here the workmenship is poor and like me you may just be bringing it and sitting here for hours. The attitude here is like o well they could care less.

Took my car in the get a noise fixed. Paid $70 for a new belt. The mechanic said that I would get my money back along with my old belt if the problem wasnt solved. A week later, my car was making the noise again. Took the car back in after researching the noise and suggested that the issue might be the belt tensioner. Had the belt tensioner changed for $200. The noise came back after another week. Took the car back in and after waiting for hours, all they had done was cleaned the belt which they already replaced. The noise came back the next day. I took the car in again and they changed the belt again and tried to charge me for labor. I refused to pay for another belt and asked for either my money back or the noise fixed. I got neither.

Super impressed with this place. Called the day before to see if they could fix my a/c. They promptly set me an appointment for the next day. When I arrived everyone was very pleasant. So a man came out started hooking my Nitro up and maybe took 30 minutes. And it was fixed. Ive been doing without air since last year. 35$ later.. And my a/c is perfect. Better than when I bought it. So this man starts talking to me and I had mentioned that I had just spent 550$ fixing a problem with my car at another auto shop(not saying which) but this man offers to drive it just to see what Im talking about. 5 minutes later he pulls back up and tells me what he thinks needed to be done. 15 minutes later job is done. Has me drive it with him in it. Problem fixed. Drives perfect. Absolutely perfect. So I go in. I pay. I asked the guy at the front desk what the mans name was that worked on my car. Jim he says. Hes the owner. Right there let me know where Im taking my car for now on. Most places the owner or boss is on the phone or supervising someone. But no he took care of me from start to end. Hes a very smart man. And he absoutly made my whole day.. not to mention I spent way way less than 550$ and came out in less time and not even half that price at JRJs. And the problem is actually fixed!! Thank you Jim. Your an amazing mechanic. Ill recommend JRJs to everyone. Finally found a place that i feel comfortable going back too. You saved me!
