Been taking our cars there for a few years and there are always professional and give you updates on what’s going on while your vehicle is being serviced. I had taken my truck to a Ford Dealer in Knoxville since I was there when I felt it pulling hard to the right, 3 months later I took it back to them for a repair that had been waiting on parts and it got even worse to the point it was throwing error codes. Took it to Matlock to see what was going on and they had it checked out and repaired in a couple of hours. These guys have definitely done really good work and will continue to have our business for a very long time.

I was out of town on business and was able to book an appointment online and pick out the tires for my son’s car. When I arrived they were expecting me and I asked that they also check the brakes. They checked me in and I left. Within an hour they called to tell me the tires were on and informed me of the brake condition. Based on the honest assessment I had them change out the front brakes. The whole job was in less than three hours. Not only are the efficient and honest, but the people who work there are very friendly and engaging!This is the first time I have used Matlock Tire in Maryville and went there based on a recommendation. I too recommend them highly!

Very friendly and quick service. I emailed to set up my appointment for new tires and received quick and detailed responses to my questions. When I showed up on a Saturday the front desk was busy but always friendly and courteous to everyone that walked in. Will definitely go back for future tires.

Early in the morning on 10/4/2021 I was turned away by Firestone to do a tire puncture repair. I drove to Matlock Tire Service 1 mile away and asked them if they could do the repair and they happily took the tire from me and said, Maybe. The puncture was 1/4 into Firestones no touch, kick them out the door, RED ZONE. 15 minutes later I had a repaired tire that was also balanced and at NO CHARGE. Im coming back to Matlock when its time for new tires or tire service!

Took my truck in for an oil change, tire rotation and two fan belts. They made sure I knew what the costs would be before doing the work. Had lunch and about an hour later they called and said it was ready. Matlocks customer service is top notch and their prices are reasonable. They are doing things the right way.

I live in Virginia but own a cabin in Townsend. I went here to get a slow leak flat tire fixed and had the best experience ever. They got my car in immediately and got it patched in a very timely manner. And the best part about it was that they did not gauge me, the price was very reasonable. I had such a great experience here that anytime one of my cars needs new tires I will make a trip to our cabin and get it done here. They honestly know what good customer service is like! I highly recommend this establishment for any of the services that they offer!

Someone is always ready to greet you when you walk through the door. The bathroom is clean, they offer coffee and the waiting area is spacious and comfortable. There’s an area with a snack machine, drinks and place for your kids to sit and play if needed. They are honest and prices are better then other places I’ve been to.

I had a break issue after arriving in Maryville on a Saturday afternoon. Arrived at the shop at 7am. They got my Jeep in and it was ready to go back out on the road by 12:30pm. Reasonable prices and great service! Great communication and happy to be heading back to Indiana. Thanks Matlock!!

I had a knot in my tire which needed to be fixed as soon as possible. It was late in the afternoon and they didn’t have my tires in stock so they were able to order them for first thing in the morning. Within an hour and a half of me getting there and them already being busy they got me taken care of and back on the road safely. The staff was super nice and price seemed affordable. I’ll be back!

Went in to this location for just a valve stem replacement on a vehicle that I am borrowing, late on a Saturday morning early afternoon. Went to 2 different places before I went to Matlock. Other places said I was looking at a minimum 2 hour wait. Matlock didnt give me a timeframe but had a service person at the car before I could get my sons out of it. Less than 15 minutes later they were done replacing the valve stem. When I asked about payment they told me not to worry about it. I know its not much like $15 max for that but shows they know what customer service is, to me at least, and how to get and retain customers. I will be back when I need to get anything else done tire related. Which will be tires fairly soon on my own car.

Friendly service, ordered a set of tires for my truck and had them put on with no hassle even did a ball joint replacement and alignment for me. Took my truck in to have a screw removed from my new tires only to be told it was not in the tire itself it was just stuck in the tread, also had a lawn mower tire repaired while I was there they were nice enough not to charge me anything for both. I had a slow leak in a rear tire due to a screw I had run over. I went to Matlocks in Maryville. They fixed the tire in 30 minutes and didnt even charge me. Great customer service. I recommend them for all your tire needs.

Absolutely, positively, excellent customer service and overall great experience. I thought I needed brakes and was told they could wait after they measured them. They fixed my issue and got my car running in short order. They also checked my codes free of charge and gave me reliable, dependable information. They were honest and super friendly. My family and I will definitely be using them in the future and recommending to others. They do way more than just tires, which is what my wife assumed. It was the first time that I had ever been to Matlock. And they were able to save me several hundreds of dollars by telling me that if I waited 24 hours, they can order the same part that I need it from a cheaper manufacturer. Not only that they were able to find the issue to the fog lights in my tail lights that went out, all at the same time and replace my alternator. I got it all for $686. Which sounds like a lot, but Firestone quoted with me over $1100. They went out of their way to make sure that I was pleased with the end result. I will absolutely be back.

Had a nail in my dads tire and another place wouldnt repair it and said it needed to be replaced (almost brand new tires). Brought it here and it was quickly repaired. Service was very professional, quick, and friendly. Highly recommend!

Matlock Tire in Maryville is a true gem in our community and the only place we go for tires, oil changes and other upkeep services.I’ll start by saying before coming to Matlock I bought tires mostly from Costco and some at Big O and Les Schwab in Denver. However, traveling to Costco for rotations was inconvenient and my time on the weekend was too valuable to spend waiting.What sold me on Matlock was the caliber of their staff and techs. Customer service is amazing and they have a comfortable waiting area complete with activities for kids, coffee and water bottles. Although that’s standard for most tire stores, I’ve even seen management bring breakfast sandwiches for customers on at least two occasions!I’ve never felt pressure from the sales staff and they’re excellent explaining findings and options. As an example of their dedication to customer service, my wife’s car had a slow leak recently and her current set of tires were purchased at Costco. We didn’t want to make the drive to Costco so we took it to Matlock to repair. I fully expected to pay for the repair since we didn’t purchase this set from Matlock but they removed a screw from the tire, plugged it and didn’t charge! Our business goes to Matlock going forward.This review isn’t meant to knock Costco but rather to say that receives more value and a service experience that meets our needs at Matlock rather than a big box store. Bill Murr is currently the service manager at the Maryville location and he’’s the real deal. Joe is another star at this location but the entire group is incredible.Last word of advice if you buy tires here is to pick up the protection plan. It gives a discount on other services and they’ll back tire damage. I picked up a large piece of metal in a tire, brought the car to Matlock and no questions asked they put a new tire since it couldn’t be repaired.Next time you’re needing tires and value the service beyond the initial sale, give Matlock a try and you’ll get hooked like me.

Super great service. From the phone call when I made the appointment, to the gentleman I dropped it off with, to the other gentleman that I picked it up from. I brought it in for an alignment, and it was done in 45 minutes. They covered the before and after specs instead of just saying “here’s your keys”. This is the second time I’ve used them and I have yet to be disappointed.

I never like buying tires cause it is a lot of money and I never knew anything about the tires but here say like these are the best ect. Trust me when I say this, I drop my car off I didn’t have to worry about anything. This was the 1st time I ever been to Matlock Tire at all, and they have many locations. Let’s say I am on broad now because of the service that I was given. I spoke with Jim Ellis and told him what I was wanting to try and do. The service that Jim provide was 5 star. No wonder why everyone should use this company. Plus note the owner himself said hi to me out in the waiting room. Jim Ellis and Jimmy Matlock made me feel welcome, made me feel like they really cared about me and my family safety. So happy with them and the service I just drop off my other vehicle off to them for tires. Trust me ask for Jim Ellis and he will show you the 5 star service too cause he is that kind of guy.
