You know, I really wanted to give the last sears in the area a good review. I bought a washer from here, and things couldnt have gone more wrong. I was told on 2 different days that it would arrive in store, so I could pick it up. It is paid for, but I can not get my washer. I will probably have to deal with my credit card company to get my money back, as this location is closing. Its really too bad, because I genuinely enjoyed the original sales person. I have days invested into trying to get my washer, still dont have a washer, and apparently they cant refund my purchase. This is the exact opposite of how to do business, and I can see why this location is going out of business. The whole sears experience has been garbage in the last few days, and I can see why them as a company are failing. I have around 15 hours on the phone with them, and still nothing.

Very nice people here. They dont work on commission so they are here for us to actually help. Bought a beautiful Husqvarna lawn mower that beat all other prices out there.

We went in looking for a washer. My husband I were the ONLY ONES IN THE STORE, yet the clerk INSISTED that I wear a mask. I told her I couldnt wear one and she STILL INSISTED. I clarified EVEN WITH A MEDICAL EXEMPTION and she answered yes, its a requirement. So we turned around and left.

I was in and out of this store to pick up my order. No more than 4 minutes. Gotta love that. I ordered the product online. Store called me and said they already had the product at their store. And I was told it was ready for pickup. Great experience with Sears Hometown store.

Went here today to replace a warranted product. They didnt know what the process was and even when they heard the message from Sears customer service telling me to take item and proof of purchase to the store for Replacement, they would NOT help me. Went to the Everett Sears and they replaced no problem! So either they dont like Hispanic people or the workers dont know their jobs!

We recently purchased several appliances for a kitchen remodel from the here. While they have mixed reviews on Google, our experience was that the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, and the prices very good.I was also looking for a 1/2-inch drive socket wrench and found their price for a Craftsman about half what I would pay at other stores. So Id suggest checking them out. We ended up buying three appliances from them.

I had issues with the men working in the store while I was trying to decide what to do about my choice of a dishwasher. The big issue was about the delivery charge. I had been looking at the Sears web site where free delivery to my house was noted. So at the store I thought the terms of the sale would be the same. I went back to the store after talking to Lisa the owner of the on the phone. She explained to me the difference between Sears Corporate and the Hometown Store. That was very confusing but she cleared that up. My misunderstanding has been resolved. I will definitely do business with them again in the future if I have a need for their merchandise. I have had an all Kenmore kitchen nearly 20 years sense I built my house. The dishwasher was the first thing to go. The propane stove and fridge are still working fine.

Our freezer went out on a Monday and even though there was no delivery crew in the store until Tuesday, they went above and beyond to get me a new freezer before noon on Monday so we didnt lose our meat. Incredible customer service and great knowledge about how to switch things over safely and not lose a dime of food.

Have never been treated so rudely in my life by the elderly lady that said she was the owner and the other lady that said she was pregnant. Why that was relevant I have no idea. Was a loyal guest, but will never be back.

I know a two is kind of low, especially because I do like this store, but I have reasons. First I dont want to feel like I walked into a used car dealership. I know what I want. Ill ask for help when I feel I want it. Second. the prices are higher here than the exact same products purchased elsewhere, such as Lowes. Ive even brought this to the owners attention before, and he didnt even reply. I think the Sears as a whole is still busy playing the game of raising, and lower prices to make you believe you are getting a product on sale. I noticed so.ethi G I wanted that was $300.00 more thanwhen I first saw the product 2 years ago. Thats a lot! I was told, wait till Veterans Day, and it will be on sale again. See, this is the problem. If I want something today, or within the next week, Im not going to wait, Im going to buy something that gets the same job done, for less money elsewhere. Sears thinks its still in the 80s. Bye bye SEARS. It is truly sad to see you on your last legs, it actually kind of upsets me that youve let yourself go like this, you were a American icon, and youve let America down. And this Home Town Sears is one more example of how, and why your days are almost done.

I have ordered a 3 gorilla shelves, and 2 gladiator cabinets. Am very happy for the most part. But a few of the parts were dinged up. I honestly feel they were that way by the time they got to the local store.The mfgr of the shelf sent me a new part to replace the tweaked one.Ill be picking up a little trailer from the Home Store in the next day or two.

Store seems more professional then the sears in Everett, the other one is filled with a while lot of high school kids who gossip while you wait inline.. takes a little longer for orders to come in but they treat you way better and know exactly what your talking about

This is the same Sears that was higher up towards smokey point. Still the same bad service and customer care. We now refuse to give them any business. We had a small simple return, and because we missed the 30 day return by one day they refused to help us out. They do NOT take care of their customers here.

Worst place Ive ever been in! The old lady that says she owns it is the rudest person Ive ever delt with they lied about the work they said they preformed!! Also sent our mower to oak Harbor to the wrong address! Then when we finely got it back they tried over charging us!! And when I disagreed with paying she called police and said we were trying to steal our own mower! Never seen such a con artist!! Everyone please take your time to go somewhere else!! You will be sorry that you ever walked into that place!! THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!!!!!!!!

I made a purchase at this store a while back.They were nice here at the store when I was making the purchase.I called later that day to ask a couple more questions about the product, they said that they needed to call me back, which was fine.They called back and left a message saying that they were still working on finding the information I had asked for, ok that was still fine. Until I got a phone call a couple weeks later how I like the product......I still hadnt gotten the information I asked for prior. I explained this to the employee and they got back to me in 2-3days. Ive called, gone in, and called again.......some of the people who work here do not know how to talk to people. Working in the sales industry its not ok to be rude to customers over the phone when they are just asking you a question trying to clarify information. Dont make your customers feel like theyre stupid period, then youll end up losing customers. Im not happy with the customer service clearly, and Im actually not sure if I will be back to purchase, unless I talk with different employees......if I do go back it will be because of my significant other.

This store should be shut down. They take items in for repairs and say sears denied the repairs(ALMOST 4 MONTHS LATER). I got ahold of both sears and craftsman and they both do not have any history of a repair claim being filed with them from this store. This store does not even have a repair person on staff anymore, yet they are still taking in items for in-house repairs. This specific store is independently owned and you can tell it is circling the drain since they cannot keep employees. Sears needs to cut tie on this scam of a business. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE THINKING IT WILL BE ABLE TO BE WARRANTIED.

Worse customer service ever, the person that answered the phone was condescending and rude, plus he didnt want to do his job. He also hung up on me. Will never shop at that store and will tell all my friends and family to not shop there. I will also post it on my Facebook to alert everyone about the awful customer service.

These folks had my lawn mower for 8 weeks, took my deposit and not once called to give me an update. I called them and was lied to and treated horribly, especially by the owners wife. Its sad when you know people are going to fail, but when you treat and address your customers like crap, They will never return, and I will not.Read all the reviews, folks, go elsewhere. These folks suck
