I had a new laptop and needed the Ram updated. I called twice and spoke to Jerrard (not sure how you spell it) he said the 8 ram upgrade is $50. I arrived that morning after at 10am and the shop wasnt open I sat for 15mins then called and was told someone would be there in 10mins. So in total I waited probably 25 or 30mins. Which I didnt mind. Here is the issue I again asked about the price and was told $50 by Jerrard. Carlos called me and told me my computer was ready to be picked up. I came, he showed me the ram and then when I got ready to pay he said the price was $75! I told him thats not what I was quoted and I asked twice. He said the guy quoting the prices doesnt know what he was quoting and that thats not the price. Why have him giving prices if he doesnt know? I feel like he could have called the guy and confirmed with Jerrard that this is what he said. Even if it lost out on money its about honoring your prices. This place is right up the street from me but unfortunately I wont be going back if I have anymore technical needs. I feel cheated and lied to. A $25 price difference is something I would like to be told before I left my computer there. I would have gotten the discrepancy sorted out. Idk Im just confused and again I feel like I was cheated by the repair guy. I dont suggest people go here until they fix this. I also called back and spokesays thats not what he told me. I have no reason to lie and I definitely didnt make it up. Yeah Im good on this place. Please look elsewhere.

Came here to get my iphone unlocked carrier wise. He was very nice and did a great job unlocking my phone. Took about 35-40 minutes (as expected) and I walked out with a now fully usable phone. Would recommend as we had no issues.

Im a college student who recently cracked her screen and was looking for a quick fix. I found this place that is right near my school and they had relatively low prices for iPhone repair. Even though they advertise that they can fix your phone within an hour while you wait, I waited two and a half hours for my screen to be replaced. Meanwhile, people who came in after me with the SAME EXACT problem got their phones fixed before me. After I received my phone, I noticed the home button did not work. I have an iPhone 5s that is brand new and the home button worked perfectly fine and it had touch ID. After letting them know that they broke my home button, they attempted to fix it (because of their 30 day guarantee) and failed. They then tried to get me to pay an additional $50 to fix the home button that they broke! So I left with my phone in worse condition than when I brought it in. Not only did they damage my phone, but the screen they replaced blacked out about two weeks later. I was still under the 30 day guarantee, but I wouldnt dare go back there with their terrible service. So I went to a different repair store that cost more money but they were able to replace my screen and fix the home button that 404 Computer Repair broke. Long story short, these guys have no idea what theyre doing. I wouldnt recommend going here for phone repair.

I brought my iphone in to get a screen repair. Simple, right? I left and came back about 20 minutes later and my still cracked phone screen was completely black. Unusable. I never had this issue before i brought it to 404 repair on Cobb parkway . Now my screen is still cracked and i have the Black Death screen. Do not do business here. This is shady.

I went to the store to have my usb port on my phone repair. 404 Computer Repair Services Providerwas professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. He explained everything he was doing and made sure all my questions were answered. Repair it in 30 min unlike the previous companys technician I had dealt with, this was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend 404 computer repair to anyone for their computer and cell phone repair needs. And, the service performed was at a reasonable cost, unlike the previous company. I would use 404 Computer repair again with out hesitation.

Came to the store because my screen was broken and my service wasn’t being read by my iphone . The phone was fixed quickly and we tested it before i left the store. My computer screen would not turn on and I noticed that they happened to be in the area. When I arrived, I was attended to immediately. They explained the possible places that might need repair, took the computer apart in front of me and explained that all they needed to do was readjust the wiring because they believed that it had been dropped. They didnt try to overcharge me. All they did was charge me the standard $50 service fee which saved me what would have been a $200 repair.

I got one of the worst phone repair services I think you can get.This man is a con artist he literally told me that the price to fix my phone was $120 once I told him OK that’s fine it took him four hours to fix my phone. Then when I try to start using it the phone was even worse than before at first it was just a crack in the screen. Then it started malfunctioning and glitching I brought it back to him and he said he could not fix it because he doesn’t know if I dropped it within the last day but there was no crack on the screen plus he never fix the phone in the first place and said that he couldn’t give me a refund but He could give me a $20 discount on another screen so basically that’s $100 extra on top of paying 120 and the phone was never fix the first time Then how do I know it will be right this second

Took my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone in to the Marietta, GA location for replacement of a cracked screen. The results were abysmal. The old glue was not properly cleaned off. There is dust and debris under the replacement glass. It now is a permanently filthy screen, but from underneath. The touch screen stops working altogether periodically and the phone must be rebooted. The edge of the metal casing is bent with a small crack in it. This was a completely botched job, very poor workmanship, and a total rip-off for the $150 it cost. I will never return, nor will I ever recommend 404 Computer Repair to anyone for anything.

Really, really terrible. I was excited when I found the place, because it was the only cell phone repair shop near where I live. 3 weeks later, my phone still hasnt been touched.I have a Galaxy Nexus (Tmo). Power buttons unresponsive; needs a new flex cable. Simple; right? I walk in, and tell them the issue, and the part thats needed. Not surprisingly, they dont have the part; and will have to order it. Totally reasonable. The owner informs me hell call me when the part gets in; I leave, full of hope for a working phone....5 days later, I get no call. I call back. Part has not arrived. He informs me he will call me back tomorrow.2 days after this, I have yet to receive a call. I call in again. Part has not arrived yet. I ask him to check the tracking number. I gets off the phone to look for it; and informs me that this is a new supplier, and that apparently theyre slow. He states that he can go ahead and put in a next day order for the part.5 days after this, Ive called back twice, and the part is still not there. Either these people are insanely irresponsible and lose parts / tracking numbers or they are sociopaths and enjoy annoying people who wait around with a broken phone.I would recommend you stay away. Stay far away.

After 6 hours left as I need my phone. But tried to update phone got error 53. Look it up they fried my phone Im going to court.Learned a lesson no third party should touch iPhone pay Apple get it done right. 30 day guarantee. Im using that in small claims court to nail them

Pretty sure they just did a factory reset, which I already told them I had done. Then they dont call or follow up. Got my money back and taking it to a REAL shop. Had my iPhone screen replaced her recently and soon after noticed a bright dot in the middle of the screen when an app was opened. I took it back and they gave me a bit of a hard time about it but did end up replacing the screen. That corrected the problem.

After talking to the technician at 404 Computer Repair, I decided to give them a chance since most of their Google reviews were encouraging. Im very glad that I did. They ordered a new screen and repaired my computer in about one hour after I dropped it off. The cost was reasonable and the work was very professional. I will certainly go back when the need arises. Its good to have a computer and phone repair shop that you can trust!

Worst service ever. I got a laptop & phone from here. After a week of having the laptop the screen went out, I took it back to get fix and needless to say 5 other things went wrong that wasnt never wrong with it. I was told that they would have to order me a new laptop and two months later nothing. So I have moved on. Please beware, nothing but excuses and lies. Very disappointed.

I took my 3 year old Sony Vaio laptop to 404 Computer Repair in November of last year. The bezel and back cover had become unattached from the keyboard. Nothing was wrong with the computer screen itself. This laptop is not made by Sony anymore so I expected it to take a awhile to find the parts fix it. However, I did not expect it to be FOUR MONTHS before I got my computer back. After countless phone calls and excuse after excuse being fed back to me, I was fed up decided to pay a visit to the shop. Not only was my computer no closer to being fixed but they had somehow lost my 1080p HD screen. They told me that they could not find the parts needed, would replace the screen at no extra cost, and put my laptop back together the best way they could if I gave them another couple of days. I went back the day after they said my computer would be fixed and they STILL hadnt put it back together. I waited until the technician finished putting it back together, signed for my laptop, and left. When I got home, I realized that the screen they replaced my original screen with is only 1366x768. They replaced my screen with a drastically cheaper display (which sucks because I built it to be a gaming laptop) and my computer is still broken. I wish they would have just told me that the computer was unable to be fixed in the first place. It would have saved me a lot of time and wasted energy. I can accept that my bezel cant be fixed. However, replacing parts that worked perfectly fine with cheaper parts is shady business and completely unacceptable. I would give zero stars if I could.

My experience working for this company as a phone repair technician was the worse. First couple weeks I’ve been on the floor and a lot of customers would return asking for Gerard who is the owner. I’ve witnessed complaints about his customer service, when they’re calling to ask for status of the parts they ordered and can’t get a hold of him, and most common issue is with laptops getting repaired but the customer will return saying the problem was not fixed. I finally decided to look at the reviews of this company myself and thought “ wow, these reviews are horrible”. And I see why. Even the owner responses under the reviews was a little unprofessional.I was told that the owner (Gerard)have a reputation not paying his employees, and I thought ok is just rumors and I can’t say much not knowing the full story. A new tech was hired after me and worked at least 40 hrs week. Eventually the tech was no longer working with us after a month because of other job opportunities. A few weeks after he ended his employment he came back looking for Gerard because he has been holding his payment. Now, when it comes to paying your employees is very crucial that payroll is taken care of in a timely manner and if it will be any issues regarding payment to communicate with your employee, updating them on when the payroll will be completed.From September 30th - October 6th 2018 was the last week I worked. Sent in my hours Friday October 12th. Employees clock in and out so my hours should already be accumulated right ? Fine, I send them anyway. Saturday (pay day) for the week ending oct 6th I didn’t receive a payment. Sunday Oct 13th I called Gerard about the payroll and his response was “ banks closed”. Payday is Saturday that’s no excuse but ok. I text Gerard on Monday 12:32pm, no response. So I called him and he says “ I haven’t had time to make that deposit. I will take care of it first thing tomorrow morning”. Comes Tuesday, no response when i text or call. Thursday I kindly asked for an update on my payment via text and got no response. Yesterday Monday Oct 22nd I had to drive to Cumberland Mall for his employees to call Gerard and tell him that I was at his kiosk and he acts like he didn’t understand why I was there . I couldn’t reach him on my phone so of course I finally got a hold of him using one the employees phone . He says that he already paid me. I said “ Oh really? Send me the screenshot of the payment”. The date of the payment that it was completed was the day of, meaning he just sent that payment. [Photos Attached]So not only he doesn’t know how to treat customers, he doesn’t know how to treat his employees either .I couldn’t work with this company any longer. If you want to work for a company that doesn’t value customer service this is the company for you. If you want to constantly remind your “boss” that you need an update on when you will get paid for the hours your worked then go ahead an seek employment here. I worked hard.When there was nothing to do I found something to do. I trained about 5 people since I’ve been here, even though it was NOT my job. There was a couple of them with no experience fixing anything. Seriously? Why waste time? I had to deal with 2 customers phone at the same time because one his employees decided he wanted to come in for extra hours and couldn’t do the repair that was needed, so it was double the work for me . I am not here to complain because at the end of the day this was a learning experience.

SO heres the thing, the guy in the front was nice, but neither him or the other two guys ( for what I saw) have a single idea about business or customer service. They didnt seem to care about my business at all. I was frustrated and left after 4hr with the same problem and even worse.

But NO, not this business, he told me that he would pay half the cost for the repair. WHAT, I pay a few hundred for a repair, the repair is bad, I bring it in, your guys really break it, and you want me to pay for half the repair!I asked for a refund and he said NO. I told him I would dispute the charge and the owner Jerrard said, You can try.Dont EVER take a phone, tablet, notebook or anything to this place. See all the horrible reviews and RUN away.

PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!! NOTHING BUT A SCAM!!!I went to the Marietta location and was helped by a man named Adrian. everything went ok while he was taking my money. He told me I had a 30 day warranty for the screen and that there may be black marks or shadows that appear and reassured me not to worry that if anything of the sort happened its not unusual and all I have to do is come back and hell replace the screen for me. Well later that day A small black line starts to appear and I pay it no mind because its small. A day or 2 later and the black mark has grown and goes across my whole screen. So the next day I drive to Marietta to get it fixed and thank god its Adrian he can help me. But he starts telling me he wont fix my phone because I cracked the screen even though it wasnt dropped or anything. Then he tells me its the LCD light and its going out. But my LCD was fine before he worked on my phone so that doesnt make sense. He basically told me I was lying and he didnt care what I said. I took his managers number down and called him right outside the store. I sent pictures and was put on hold. While Im on hold the manager calls Adrian and Adrian proceeds to lock the door on me and close the blinds so I cant see him. Then the manager picks back up and says were lying that he didnt say anything about a month warranty and he wont help us. So I basically drove 30 minutes to be told I was a lier and that I got ripped off and theres nothing I can do about it.

Terrible customer service. DO NOT GO!!!I left my 2016 IMAC with a broken screen there to be fixed. They told me they had a screen in stock and itd be fixed within 3 days. 3 days later they told me that he cracked the screen they had and id have to wait another week...which I understood.A week later I had some unexpected issues and had to leave town, my wife attempted to pick the computer up and they told her itd be done in 5 days. They then stopped answering her phone calls.2 weeks later I got back in town and when I called about the computer he told me itd be another week. I went to visit the store to pick my computer up and the worker (who was very nice) called the owner who was away and explained to him that id be willing to wait, for a discount, at which point the owner (who was unaware i was on speakerphone) began screaming about how he already told me itd be a week and i can take it or leave.This place is a disgrace.

Bought the glass/digitizer for my iPad from this guy and he was super cool. He wanted cash only and Im cool with that. The part was OEM and perfectly protected. If I wasnt so cheap I could have better supported my local business.

They did a good job on wifes phone but then had several issues trying to get parts for mine. I finally gave up.

WARNING! I WISH I LOOKED AT THE COMMENTS BEFORE I WENT THERE! Horrible service!!! I paid almost $300 for them to repair the screen on my phone. They broke the back of my phone while they had it and promised that they had another one on the way. a whole week passed and nothing. However before the whole week passed my new screen that wasnt even glued down right came up at the bottom and the whole screen busted. When I called back, they said they didnt have the back to my phone and that the only way they could refund my money was if I brought them an unbroken screen back. Mind you they still broke the back of my phone in the process, so now im $300 out and still have a busted screen and a white verizon back on my phone and im at&t. Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and filing to take them to court. DO NOT USE THEM!

Worst service ever! The owner told me that Id pay 40 to unblock my password and instead damagesvrhe compitter and then charged me for a hidden fee of 50 without even fixing the laptop! I do not recommend this place! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM !!! Check other bad reviews

Worst service ever!!!!! I was around the area and looked up for a iphone repair shop. This place came up. I had an iphone that needed a microphone check and change. I stayed there for an hour and 30 minutes and the tech could not find the problem. decided to leave and staff tried charged me $49 dollars for checking the device. I left without paying that unreasonable fee. I had purchased a new screen for my phone online that I recently installed myself. on my way home I found out my screen was swap for a low quality one, plus I got called the cops on me for leaving without paying. Had to go back to pay and confront them with the officer and on the conversation that I asked about my screen swap. Owner said we swap it with the good stuff!!! People in that store are a joke. do not even know the difference between hdmi cable and vga cables. Good luck ripping students off from southern tech and kennesaw marietta. Do not see that business lasting more than a year. Keep on min customers that as soon as they take your device to the back you are automatically charged $49 dollars even if they do not know whats wrong or cannot fix your device.

Nothing...he lied that he had a dell 45 chrgr..knowing I was driving from Collier to Kennesaw.....I was very clear that I did not want anything but...he said he may have two...I made him aware I was just out of hospital at Piedmont and would have to drive that long distance so if any changes call back....sent him photo of tiny charger input...got there...it was Not a 45..!.it did say dell in tiny tiny print....it did not fit...histechnicianwanted to take my under warrenty ultra laptop to back room to retrofit it in spite of my telling him that Dell insisted I use a 45 dell and they had just replaced the battery and charger input...under warrenty..I refused to lelt him take it to a back room...so the tech left and he dissapeared...aft 10 min...I ask where is he...he had dismissed me....no apology...told him he is a liar...inconsideraytly allowed me to go 40 min up 40 min back to no avail and was rude...he called me ...a mean old lady...I totally lost control of my blood pressure w outrage to this disrespectful unprofessional impersonator of a human being....There r so many ne reviews...how does he get a 3 rating
