A rare 1 star. The salesman said they would hold a phone for me in the safe. Even set up an appointment for me to come by. On my way to the store I called. They had sold the phone. If you cant hold a phone then just tell me. Once they realized their mistake they hung up on me. It wasnt a big deal except they set it up.Second they didnt know the procedure for a new phone for Christmas. Other Verizon phone shops have WAY better customer service.I bought the phone online and drove to the Hiram shop where they walked the phone out to me. Only 30 mins between the order and drop off.
They have the tiniest sign for a QR code to check in. The doors remain locked and only one customer allowed at a time which means they only have one person working. Be prepared to wait forever. The guy working is not friendly and is extremely slow. I think he’s just trying to get to closing time and do as little work as possible.
Ive been to the store twice during their listed hours of operation. The first time on a Friday night 6:25pm 35 minutes before they closed and no one was available the store was totally pitch shut down and locked. Went back the following Wednesday and was informed by an employee that I couldnt look at phones because they closed in 10 minutes and they were unable to do activations. Not sure why looking at phone has anything to do with activations. I promptly left and will never go back again. I have bought three or four phones from the store in the past. Five or six years.
Donta is THE MAN! Thanks for everything and we will do business with you again sir! :)
Know the difference between Verizon and a Verizon Authorized Retailer. I was getting bad information from the sales person that was flat out confusing. I ran as soon as I got a chance and managed my phone upgrade directly with Verizon rather than being deceived into a weird payment plan by these guys. I know much more about my Verizon contract than ABC phones....a Verizon authorized retailer. Save your time and deal directly with Verizon.
DO NOT GO...ONLY TRYING TO MAKE A SALE.....I visited this Verizon store on 11/11/13 around 7-7:15 pm and as I was waiting for help when the lady asked she could answer a question while she was attending to someone else. So I told her that my phone was turning on/off by itself, the date and time were incorrect and I couldnt make calls and txt msg were coming in at the bottom of old txt. She asked me to remove my battery and asked the colors of the Xs, I tell her, she says you have water damage (my phone had not been near water) without even looking it. Then asks if I had insurance and I told her yes but it is through Sams Club (square trade..covers EVERTHING!!!), she proceeded to tell me that their warranty doesnt cover water damage and if there arent any upgrades on your account then you will have to pay $700 for a new phone. So I said thank you and left. Today I went to the store location on Cobb Pkwy and actually took the time to look at my phone stated there was no water damage and that the upgrades for Samsung 3,4 and note took place but the 3 was having some trouble. He changed my SIM card and it works perfectly!!
I love this store!!! Angela is the best!
