Maintenance wise did a great job. Service wise missed the mark. I was told the oil change would take two hours. About three hours later of waiting in the lobby i walked up to the front where i had given them my keys and the worker at the front asked me what my name was and then said that my vehicle was done and handed me my keys. Who knows how long they had my vehicle ready. I had to go to the back parking lot and retrieve my vehicle myself. Which is fine but it would have been nice to be told as soon as my vehicle was ready.

I worked with TJ in the service department who scheduled and ordered parts for my car. He was great with explaining exactly what my car needed, specific about pricing breakdown and even helped me get in a loaner car so that I could continue working my normal work schedule. He was down to earth, friendly and professional. I would come back to Volkswagen of Marietta over any other dealership because of the great service I received, starting with TJ. Thanks also to the guys who worked on my car. It rides like new again.

Took my car in to because the passenger door was not unlocking with the car fob. Received an estimate for the replacement and gave them the ok to do the work. Pricing was high but that was to be expected with dealership prices. Arrived to pick up my car and the bill was DOUBLE the estimate. No one called to let me know the cost was higher than originally quoted. The door works great but they misrepresented the cost and blindsided me at the register. I will not be coming back.

Still loving Volkswagen of MARIETTA! I had to go in to get my sunglasses compartment fixed because it would not stay shut and was blocking my review mirror. They were so understanding of the issue and safety concerns that I had. Went in on a Tuesday to get it inspected for the parts needed and got it installed in that Thursday. Quick and easy no long wait. Love it!

To start no one called me to let me know what was wrong with my vehicle I had to call them after 24 hours . Which has never happened before I usually get a call within 2 hours I dropped my car off at 630am and when I finally call at 230pm the next day there was only one technician working Vw you need to do better with your customer service

The website allows you to ask for a loaner car when scheduling your appointment. Yet, when you arrive you’re told they don’t offer loaners. I get COVID and all but if you see your customer requested a service you don’t offer pick up a phone and call them to explain BEFORE they show up for the appointment. Also…this crazy idea…fix your website so loaners can’t be requested in the first place!The work on my car was completely in less than 2h yet it took another 4h to put my car through the car wash. And there were still bugs on my front bumper after the car was “washed”.Lastly, some service was recommended and when I asked for details was just told to read print out that was given to me at the time of check out. The lady seemed bothered that I even asked. What a great customer service that was… not!I will not be returning.

I came here for my first early service for Tiguan SE R line. Waiting space is limited and the representative told me to come in 1 - 2hrs to pick up the car. I came after 3 hrs but still the servicing was not completed. After waiting for an extra 3 hours I got a call that the representative will leave in a hour and she want me to pick up the car ASAP. When I pick up my car, the car was not vacuumed or washed. I only think they just changed engine oil and checked my car tires which they took my car at 10 am and gave me back at 4pm.Not happy with that experience.FYI : I bought the car at your showroom only in April.

Customer service was awful. Each time I called them for update on status and cost I was given a runaround. The auto mechanic technician tried to overcharge my services. Luckily I had copies of the estimates I was quoted earlier so they had to honor them. I’ll NEVER take my car there again. Props however to the service manager who was honest and accommodating to me…but his staff were horrible…mainly T.J.

I’ve had service twice at this dealership and I’m not happy. The original issue with my car has still not been fixed when all I needed was a gas cap…they convinced me to redo my omissions system instead and my check engine light is still coming on for the same thing. Almost $2000 later…. They don’t return calls, I called to check on my car and was told it wasn’t even there like I never dropped it off but my car was sitting there for a week without a service ticket being completed after I dropped my car off. They don’t have loaner cars available but the site asks if you need one. I had to break up the payments on a few credit cards and they charged the wrong card TWICE causing me to incur overdraft charges and screwing up my plans to visit family out of town for the weekend on the anniversary of my brothers death! Thanks! I guess I’ll have to make time to come back and address these issues when I’m able to take time off work to do so AGAIN!

TJ and the team are the reason I drive past other VW shops to take my car only to them. Every time, the team’s professionalism and care impresses me. Last time, they saved me hundreds of dollars by pointing out I’d booked the wrong service online, and this time (an emergency tow), they fixed my car a whole day earlier than estimated, and made sure it was back to me as soon as possible. This is a busy department, but they communicate so well and really care about their service to customers (and our cars).

They came and picked up my vehicle from my place of work. They weren’t able to pick me back up, so they sent a Lyft to get me. That was pretty awesome. It’s 4 stars and not 5 due to the small fresh dent and scratch on one of my doors that wasn’t there before they picked up my car.

Unable to make a simple transaction. Service agent ran my card multiple times and it kept getting rejected triggering my fraud alert. Lost access to my account for two days because agent didnt know what the hell he was doing. Also, was charged twice for a part and the agent blamed it on the bank. When I didnt need the part, the same agent tried to tell me there was no refund. Will never go back!

I was charged the diagnostic fee for them to not be able to tell me what was wrong with my air conditioner. I understand paying workers for their time and effort, but I believe all they did was hook my car up to a machine. They said they couldn’t identify any issues with the compressor and that I should just replace it. Well why would I replace it if there’s nothing wrong with it? It was already replaced last year. Just terrible. The only good thing was the nice guy that took me home while I waited. I’m not replacing my compressor again I’m just getting rid of the car and I will never own another Volkswagen

There was a recall on my fuel rail. The staff was helpful and washed the car complimentary. I had to bring the car back the next day. On the way home from the dealership my car stopped accelerating. I was extremely nervous. I called the dealership and they scheduled me first thing the next morning. The tech had to tighten a hose that was loosened during the recall repair. The staff was apologetic and swift with making the second repair. In and out less than an hour.

2 for 2 on poor service and a lack of the “give a crap” attitude. This time I brought our new car in for the routine 10k service. I was told there are no loaner cars (even though my maintenance plan says I’m supposed to get one). Oh well no biggie as I was told at first it would only be an hour. Shortly after I was told it would be two hours and they offered me a ride home. Thanks. 6 hours later still no car and no on will pick up the phone or return my calls. Worst customer service I have ever had. At least they are consistently awful!

I had my car towed to this location. A diagnostic test was performed and nothing was found to be wrong with the car. Because the issue seemed so severe, from my experience, I chose to leave the car and rent a vehicle to continue our drive. And Im so glad I did. My husband came from out of state to assess the situation only to find plenty wrong.I paid 140.00+ for a test that showed nothing when a good look and a bit of serious investigation should have been found by the experts.Thank goodness for my husbands know-how. My advise is to find a Mechanic that knows how to get his/her hands dirty And do the real work to keep you safe.

Service department not as top notch as youd expect. Brought my car in for a check engine light. My car was in the shopfor a month and a half. I would call for an update and status o the vehicle. Let me check and have an advisor call you back. No calls were ever received. Once I get the car back and $4k later the Check Engine light comes back only 2 hrs after leaving the shop. Back to the shop it goes again smh....

I decided to try this dealership since they are located near my new house. My car needed it’s 30k mile service. I used the valet service since I take care of my grandchild and can’t bring her out in public due to Covid-19. AJ picked up my car from my garage and returned it to me the next day. I can’t say enough about his professionalism. The convenience was impossible to pass up. My service advisor Aislynn contacted me immediately when my car arrived at the svc dept. I was even able to use a coupon and payment when AJ returned my car was completely confidential. I would highly recommend VW of Marietta and will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you

Wasn’t impressed by the customer service from the drop-off, updates or pick-up. Positive customer service experiences is what will keep me as a customer for life. I choose the pay the premium price at the dealership service center because I expect to receive high quality service. And this was a total failure on the VW Marietta Service Center. I totally get that mistakes happen, items get misplaced and people have off days. But it’s about how you handle those moments and how you want to make sure the customer walks away happy with the services provided. I unfortunately did not have that experience, therefore I am only giving three stars.- Drop-off, I had an appointment. When I arrived, it was if they had no idea I was coming.- Updates, updates were great, Curtis called daily for the first 6 business days that my car was in the shop. The last three days was crickets. I called to ask for Curtis and was told “he doesn’t work here anymore”. I found that comment to be unprofessional and shared information that immediately put me into a place of stress because the person who was supposed to take care of my car was no longer there. The person that I spoke to seemed aggravated that she had to deal with me. The appropriate response when I asked for Curtis would have been “he’s not available, let me help you.”. I don’t care if someone quit or got fired, not my issue, just provide me the service I am paying for and make sure my experience is seamless. After sitting on hold for about 8-10 minutes, I was informed my car was “done”. Felt like I had to do the work to determine if my car was ready for pick-up. I suspect that it was ready the day prior to my call but nobody called. Had I not called, I suspect it would have been another day or two before they checked on any of Curtis’s clients. I am was a bit surprised that it took 7 days to get a standard “Start/Stop” button in from a parts order, figured that’s something that would be kept on hand or could be ordered and delivered in a day or two. However I never complained about the extended timeframe, I just wanted the car fixed correctly. I was thankful for the updates provided by Curtis… until those stopped.- Pick-up, arriving to pickup my car… what a mess. The desks were littered with piles of paper, keys and other random stuff. Took three guys 10 minutes to find my keys. That’s unacceptable. They made it very obvious that it was a mess, and that’s NOT a good thing for customers to see. I should have never even known the keys were missing. They should have shown confidence and kept me engaged while others discreetly searched for the keys. But that’s not what happened, I watched a complete cluster unfold before my eyes and their lack of control over their space stressed me out. I just wanted to check out and get my car. Should have taken less than 5 minutes at the most. If the desks and countertops were not a complete mess, they would have been able to put their hands on my keys in a matter of seconds. Once they did locate the keys, we carried on with the transaction. I received some less than satisfactory mumbles of apologies while they fumbled on the computer for another 5-10 minutes while chitchatting with each other… continuing to waste my time. The tech mentioned it had been a long day. I totally get that and I had a long day too. They added to my stress so at this point I was hyper vigilant to the situation. He blamed his long day on Curtis not being there anymore. To which I replied “so did he quit?”, and yes that a test question. He replied “NOPE!”, how unprofessional, the professional response would have been, “I am not sure, but no worries, we will take great care of you! Again, they showed no confidence in their ability to provide a quality service experience to me.

I Have been getting my car serviced here for years. Today was the absolutey the worse service ever. TJ was rude from start to finish. I had to call and check on my car because no one never called me. When I picked up my car and paid for my service he did not say thank you or anything else . He nust waljed away, there was also anotber gentleman there that added his two cent which to me it was rude. I am the customer that was getting service and paying, not TJ or anyone else that was working tbere. THE WORSE SERVICE EVER AND I AM HIGHLY DISSAPOINTED!

My fuel gage has not been accurate. I. Fill my gas tank and it registers as half full.So, that is the reason that I made an appointment for my car.I had also received a letter about a recall. So, I figured that I would have that done while I was there.I was clear about the fuel gage problem when I made the appointment. I told them about the fuel gage problem when I dropped off the car.Someone called me to tell me that my car was ready, but that they did not fix the fuel gage.I told them that it was the reason that I dropped off my car.After the entire day in the shop, o went to pick up my car and they never even looked at the fuel gage (which should be easy to fix).

Ive thought long about giving them 2 stars. But now that Ive had my issues resolved at Harper Volkswagen in Knoxville, it is clear this place is horribly ran. Ill just go chronologically.I call them asking to schedule an appointment. The person on the phone simply said bring it on in implying they had little business. Upon showing up I was informed that was not the case.Thats fine, nothing happens instantly. But while I am setting up my appointment for a diagnostic, I make it VERY CLEAR I am trying to have my van checked for an extended warranty. I am told it isnt likely a 10 year old van has a warranty. I assure them I have seen evidence of it and ask they verify the problem and resolve it. I was NOT quoted a diagnostic fee. (They did not charge me)I was assured my van could be diagnosed quickly. After 3 days, I call them and they have the diagnostic done, but for some reason did not reach out to me. They tell me that I need new spark plugs and coils, despite me telling them my personal mechanic did that TWO WEEKS AGO. I then learn about the diagnostic fee and inform them I wasnt quoted it at drop-off and they discounted it. Thank God! Since they did NOTHING.The reason I contemplated 2 stars was that it is an old van and it really may have not qualified for the warranty. But then I tried another dealer.I cannot stress this next part enough.THE OTHER DEALER FOUND THE WARRANTY IN 30 SECONDS.I mention to Harper Volkswagen that I think my car may have an extended warranty, they ask for my Vin and IMMEDIATELY find it. I say great, and leave them the car. They tell me if the warranty is not the issue, I will be charged a diagnostic fee. Perfect.In exactly one week, my cars problems have been solved and no charge to me because Harper Volkswagen in Knoxville actually cares for their customers and meets their needs.It is beyond obvious this dealership simply ran obd codes since they told me the problem was something thats already been fixed. This is disgraceful and pathetic service.I think Id actually take my van on the 3 hour trip back to Knoxville before considering trying to work with them again.

My car was dropped for repairs on January 29 of 2020. It was returned to me on March 4 of 2021 after over a year the engine light came on within a week of me taking the car back. I have had calls not returned from three service managers and two general managers. I have offered to trade in the car since they were unable to repair. I have made over 35 calls to the dealership and I have gotten three phone calls in return. This is without a doubt the worst customer experience that I have ever had. I have been told on multiple occasions that my car is “difficult to work on“. The car is a Volkswagen and the reason that I brought it to the dealership is that they are an authorized Volkswagen dealership. I still do not have an operable car. Disgraceful.

I was having issues with a loud rattle (in a new car) that another VW dealership was unable to diagnose and remedy. VW Marietta was able to find (and fix!) the problem. They even had someone do a road-test with me to ensure that the rattle was no longer there. I will return to this dealership for all future services. Thanks guys!

I have visited this service center last week for my vehicle 80k miles service.Along with the service I told them my rear turn lights are not working and asked them to add new bulbs.But they didnt even added new bulbs after the service and told me the bulbs are actually good but we have to do car diagnostic to test why the bulbs are not working for which you need to create a separate appointment and it costs you around $139 for the test.But I was suspecting it was the bulb problem and then the next day I went to a different service center and they replaced the bulbs for $20.Now I decided to not to visit this volkswagen service center at any time in the future services.
