While traveling from Atlanta to Pittsburgh, car issues derailed our trip. When the hotel we were staying in wasnt willing to help accommodate us with a late departure even though there were severe storms and tornado warnings, Jay went above and beyond to give us shelter and peace of mind. He was incredible with getting our issues corrected and getting us back on the road. We were traveling with 4 children under 10 and the patience he showed when we got there with our luggage and impatient kids was exemplary. I highly recommend this location to anyone!!!

The Manager Jay, has been the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. I came in to this shop because of needing a tow with my AAA membership, Jay and his staff promptly fixed the issue that jiffy lube had caused (didn’t properly screw my lugs onto my tire, and it ended up flying off my vehicle while I was driving!) Jay was able to fix the issue and made me feel like a customer and not a burden!This place is located in Marietta and I live in Conyers, and gladly drive the 30+ miles to this location.

Excellent service, with patient and informative staff. This is my go-to location for both my car and my wifes car.I knocked off one star for a previous service hiccup, i.e. recommending a part replacement (spark plugs) on something they had recently already done, but not put in their records for some reason.The issue was resolved, and was a brief blip in our many years of service. Highly recommend this place!

I called this morning and spoke with Gene. I had a nail stuck in my tire and he set expectations that if they could repair it, it would be $29, otherwise Id be looking at replacing a tire. I asked if I could come in today and so I did. When I arrived, I saw that the facility was very clean and all employees were behind plexi glass. Signs on the door required masks and masks were provided to those who didnt have their own. Gene greeted me and recalled our phone conversation. I waited in a very clean waiting area and connected to their wifi so that I could work while I waited. Once my car was ready, the checkout process was very smooth and luckily I didnt need a new tire. I highly recommend this location and especially Gene.

Received a coupon for $15 oil change in the mail . By the time I got out of there it was $22. Thank goodness I didnt let them upsell me on the synthetic motor oil. Customer lounge leaves much to be desired. Overall friendly enough. And I guess they did a good job on the oil change. Make sure you call for an appointment because they sure get testy if you just walk in off the street unannounced.

Ron and our mechanic were top shelf. Work was well done and ahead of schedule. As a shadetreer I was impressed.

My daughters car broke down a mile away and we have used AAA forever for towing (and appreciate them). Oil cooler failed and mixed oil with coolant. A mess. The next am, the shop calls and says the starter is dead, and the engine is ruined (spoiler, its not). Quickly estimates 8k repairs and dropping a used engine in for me. I asked how they knew the engine is bad if the starter is out? They said they tried to hand turn the flywheel. Then when I asked for a detailed estimate, it seemed an imposition. Finally got a half hearted estimate with little detail, and only verbal. I asked about the AAA 10% discount and they said they would only do the starter and can give 10% on that, but the rest is shopped out to another garage! so that gets me down to $7k after the estimate and the 30 bucks off the starter. Had it towed to a real garage. ENGINE IS FINE, new parts and radiator, out the door at a fraction of the costs quoted here. Never again. Ill be calling AAA also.

Got out of my car to find a complete flat. John filled my tire only to find a hole in the side. He knew I couldn’t make it home so he had my tire removed and spare put on free of charge (right before closing) so I could get to a tire store. Thank you for your honesty and generosity. I wasn’t a AAA member, but I am now!

Came in for a passport photo and they were unable to assist because they didnt know how to work their machine. As member this is free so its very upsetting I had to go somewhere else and pay.

Been going here since the place opened. Always pleasant, quick service. Do not pressure you to pay for extra repairs but perform a safety check and inform you of any other problems or possible future concerns. Easy to schedule routine maintenance online. Waiting room has TV, internet stations, coffee and hot chocolate ( I am trying to get them to provide donuts). Great place operated by great people.

Professional, reasonably priced, and done when they said it would be.

I explained my check engine light was on and they did nothing about it. Now my engine light is back on and they are taking there time on fixing it. They dont understand that people dont have money to rent cars until theres is fixed.

I have my car serviced 3 times and its the best serviced that I have ever experienced with auto care.I would like to commend Chris Hanson at the Auto Group on Johnson Ferry rd.5 star anytime. I am a older man with lots of experience in the business world and travel a lot in the military.I have never had better service and honestly.

Needed some unexpected work done on a Thursday night right at closing. I was able to call and talk to Charlie who got everything set up very efficiently so even though my vehicle was delivered after hours, they had me back on the road the next afternoon... Without going totally broke! He gave me some friendly reminders (which were accurate & not up selling) and all while he and the rest of the guys at the desk looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. Which comes back to how I was treated, which was wonderful.

I hate to have to write this review but I it must be done. I picked my vehicle up on October 3rd after paying $1250 in repairs (new battery, diagnostics and a fuel pump.) After driving off the auto care property the same problems I was having started happening again. The check engine light on the dash as well as other lights were all still on and the cat continued to die on me when stopped at a light. I brought my car back in 6 days later and got a ride home in the courtesy shuttle and ubered to work the following 2 days. AAA called me back to tell me nothing was wrong with my car. I picked it up and the same problems continued to happen. I went to get my Emissions checked and I failed the test. The Emissions guy told me that it was and air flow problem. I had to get an extension from the DMV so I didnt get pulled over for tag and then I drove directly over to AAA to tell them I had failed Emissions and the same problem had been happening with my car since I had payed them $1250 to fix it and after them telling me 6 days later that nothing was wrong with it. I have been driving around with a messed up car for the last month and took it back into AAA, and in honesty thinking they would and should fix it for no cost. This was not the outcome. They called me to tell me I needed a new air flow system and I needed to have my computer updated...for $653! I told them I was going to take it somewhere else and come pick it up. When I was checking out the guy told me I owed him $120 for the diagnostic test which was supposedly run and paid for from the previous repairs. He then said he would only charge me $54. I was so mad and felt so cheated and lied to. These people just kept lying to me! There was an excuse for everything! I asked for the paperwork from the diagnostic testing and they didnt have it. I will never take my vehicle back to this auto care center ever again and I do not recommend anyone trusting them. They kept trying to tell me that it was a different problem that had arose and that is a lie! I had my car back in that place not 6 days after paying them $1250 for the repairs which didnt work.

I walked in to the AAA at East Cobb with a few problems I was having with my car. John was the representative I worked with through the whole process of getting my vehicle fixed. We first ran a diagnostic test. John provided excellent customer service, called me daily of what was going on with the vehicle and let me know prices to fix the vehicle. If it wasnt for John and his friendly customer service I might of gone elsewhere for my vehicle repairs but John talked to me the whole way through and it was his trust that I ended up getting serviced by AAA at East Cobb! Great customer service goes a long way!!

Im driving a 17yr old car and I always wince when I have to get repairs. I got estimates from 5 different repair shops, but the one that stood out as most reliable at a competitive price was this AAA Repair Facility.. I had my oil changed here a few years ago and I was very impressed. The shop is uncommonly clean and organized. Charlie, the Service Writer, was knowledgeable and pleasant on the phone. I made an appointment for the next day and meanwhile he ordered the necessary parts so they would be there when I arrived. I had 2 rear strut kits installed and it went better than expected. The waiting room that looks out into the shop was comfortable and has free wifi. I had my car back 2.5 hours later at a price a bit less than quoted. This is the 1st place I will check with if I ever need other repairs.

Jay, Charlie and Dwayne at AAA on Johnson Ferry are the best car care service providers I have had. They all work together as a great team. The Auto Club Group is a Great place right here in East Cobb. This place goes above and beyond for all their customers. My service advisor Chris Janson completely went out of his way late in the day on a Friday to take care of my needs and made sure to get me safely back on the road even staying after hours to finish up. Customer service is a 10!! I would certainly recommend to anyone in need of a trustworthy repair shop.

Have been using this facility for several years for our 2010Toyota Prius and 2004 Honda CR-V. As a AAA member, I extended my belief and trust in the company to their mechanics and have not been disappointed. Have done both routine care (oil changes, etc) to tire purchases to a big list of repairs for the CR-V which currently has 250,000 miles and is still going strong. Highly recommended!

Definitely subpar. I took my car there after having issues with it overheating. I told the gentlemen at the front counter that I believed that the issue was that the radiator was leaking coolant causing the car to overheat once the coolant level became low. The men at the front desk assured me that they would do a full inspection and find the root cause of my cars overheating issue. After completing the inspection, they told me that they had found where the leakage was coming from and also an issue with my wheel barrings. They told me that it would be around $400 to fix the leak issue and around $800 to fix the wheel barring problem. I told them to go ahead and fix the leak issue but the wheel barring repair would have to wait until a later date. After about an hour, they told me the leak was repaired and I shouldnt have anymore overheating issues unless, the pressure from the cooling system found another area to leak from. Im in the military so I didnt have an opportunity to test the car since I went away to train for a month. After I came back, after about three days of driving the car it began overheating again. I immediately called AAA to report the issue. They assured me that they would do another inspection at no cost to me and if it was an issue with something they repaired they would amend the issue for free. I brought it back in, they performed another inspection, and after about to hours they told me that my engine had failed the block test likely due to a faulty head gasket, AND THAT was what was causing my car to overheat. They told me the repair could run between 2600-$4000. My only issue is how was this not caught during the first inspection?! You found another issue but failed to test the most important component of the vehicle? Sounds shifty to me. Needless to say, I will never use these guys again, and believe you all should exercise caution if you decide too. They get two stars for not charging me during my second visit. I did appreciate that.

Dwayne and Travis helped me yesterday when I had a flat tire. Dwayne researched all my options and helped me with other ideas for car issues. Travis was a gentleman and helped me search my car inside and out for a lost wheel lock key. They aligned my tires and it drives like new. This was a great team at East Cobb.

Wonderful people dont try to sale you something you dont need to have the job done correctly...All work is under warranty very very clean. It is a walk in shop which means service advisors will take you to your car and point out the problems. Thay are open to 2nd opinions and cost from a similar shop...

I am in Roswell Ga babysitting for my 2 grandchildren.I drove up from Jacksonville flI have a Toyota Sienna. My tire warning light has been on all day . I am leaving and traveling back to Florida tomorrow night with my small grandchildren . I was worried I had a leak in a tire and was worried about traveling at night .I went to AAA care center at 5:30 pmJay helped us check pressure in eachh tire . They were all low but he filled to appropriate pressure. The light is now off . Jay was so helpful . I highly recommend this care center !!!!!

We moved here three years ago from out of state and gave AAA car care a try since they were conveniently located near my work. They routinely change my oil, rotate tires, change burned out lights, new tires (beat Costco pricing), fixed an engine issue, found an engine issue that was covered under a bulletin and guided me where to go., and many other hoses and such that have needed repairs. I cant thank Dwayne and his coworkers enough for keeping my 10 year old Buick running safely. The guys that work the counter (5 star Dwayne)are very friendly, knowledgeable and understand their customers. They also have shuttled me to and from work for many of my visits in a timely fashion.Thanks! Keep up the great work !

I had a flat tire two blocks from this AAA location. They replaced the tire, and that is the only good thing I have to say about this experience. Example, no  call when the car was ready. I called in the afternoon and was told, it was ready half an hour after you left.  But no call.Also, they did not remove the check air notification on the dash and when I asked them to, they couldnt.  I suggested they call Honda to find out how and Charlie told me to take it to Honda myself. And that was just another example of the attitude. Maybe it was a bad day for them, but baring a true emergency, I would not go back to that AAA location again. Incidentally google had the info on how to remove the check air warning, my son found it there.

$400 for rear disc brake job(Just pads) $169 elsewhere) I also pointed out that my spare donut had exploded and I needed a new one- Jay, (guy of the year for 2016) said he went out to take measurements and had ordered me a new donut and it would arrive the next morning. I arrived today to get my donut installed only to see them remove my left rear tire, which has at least 15,000 miles left on it, and proceeded to change it out for $200 ($89 elsewhere)and Jay told me we are fixing that donut as you requested. I then had to walk out into the service bay to stop them and point out that an exploded donut and a regular use tire were 2 completely different things. Who the hell calls an actual tire, a donut? AAA does! Oh, you mean a Super Micro Ultra Mini Sub Compact Spare!! They dont make those anymore if you had called it a Super Micro Ultra Mini Sub Compact Spare, then we wouldnt be all sneaky and put parts on your car which you dont really need. THIS LOCATION INSTALLS PARTS WHICH YOU DO NOT NEED REPAIRED TO SCAM YOU OUT OF MONEY. And they charge at least twice as much as any other shop. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN AND SEND THE WORKERS TO JAIL.

Fine for the basic vehicle maintenance we had performed, and theres always a decent coupon. Friendly and competent but by no means fast. Probably best to plan on not waiting.

Unfortunately my family has had very poor service here. Both in the mechanic department and with their insurance agent. We are no longer using either service at this location. Hopefully if we ever need a tow it will go more smoothly.

I like to use the free air pump to inflate my tires to proper pressure before starting a road trip.

They send the coupons by mail but very reluctant to apply the discount when you present them. If you insist on applying the discount, they increase invoice price and apply the coupon. Very unprofessional

I need an International Drivers License and carefully set aside time to get one today (a Saturday). But AAA, with no notice at all, closed all of their stores in the Atlanta area for the entire Saturday for a meeting. I sure hope it was important, because it caused me lots of trouble.

Im a long time customer and the customer service here has always been great. They tell me when there are coupons and dont recommend stuff I dont need. I had a problem caused by a bad repair job and they were able to fix it along with a few other items with no extra cost to me.

I got sucked in because the prices were pretty good. The service is absolutely horrible. I started with a guy named Eddie who was really a joke. It took forever for him to respond I finally gave up and called into customer service. I got assigned to some guy who actually was pretty nice and thorough while we were on the phone. When I tried to get a quote for a new car, however, it took over a month. I called into this location and go someone named Beverlyn???? Who talked all over me and interrupted and wasnt listening. Eventually she got a little sarcastic and I just hung up. Im so over this company. I cant wait to switch away from this company. They are super unprofessional. Thank God I did not buy the life insurance which I had planned to do in a week. But after reading the reviews and my bad experience, Im going to get away from this company altogether. They did stick me for the AAA roadside plan but I guess it was worth it to find out how horrible this company is.

Buy a better battery get a three year warranty...utilize that warranty. This place is overpriced for auto repairs but the batteries are ok.

Love AAA and they have saved me when I had a flat tire but would not recommend this office for any travel needs. I was ready to book a trip to Costa Rica and the agent took a week and still never got anything back to us. We used Travel Expo down the street. They had a whole trip planned in 2 or 3 days.

I work with an Early Learning Academy and I am one of the Transportation Specialists and drive a 15 passenger mini bus. It has been difficult to find a local company that would service our busses. On a whim we called AAA, as our go-to company turned us away. Jay Walkup provides exceptional customer service. The technicians are thorough and honest. Even more, they have brought our busses back to our Academy and even picked them up for service. Side note, being a woman in a car care service department, they treated me with incredible respect.
