This is my second service visit in the last few years and they are awesome, price is right and fast turnaround...very polite and took time to explain issue and answered all my questions. The first time I took a car in they didnt charge me and simply gave me great advice which I appreciated.

The staff are always friendly but the results fall short of expectation. Twice now I have visited and spent money without resolving primary issue. I was charged for a computer diagnostic only to find nothing and the price of the oil Chan was $30 higher than the dealership. Not the usual and don’t recommend at this time.

This really just pertains to the professionalism here, I called to ask a question regarding an inspection I had done with my dealership (Volkswagen) . So I called here because I wanted to get an estimate on what’s called a “vacuum pump” that is leaking oil. Was told over the phone that this terminology doesn’t exist, and got a presumptions response of it being an injection pump. Did some research, and verified with other Volkswagen that this was the proper issue and device. Makes me not to take my car back here to get my issues fixed if they don’t even understand what the problem is. Their was a bit of attitude when trying get information. Additionally, the last time I was there the was a lot of negative side bar conversation about the mechanic working and other employees that made me feel uncomfortable. So, I’m just not so sure now if I can trust to take my vehicle here.

My vehicle unexpectedly stalled, wouldnt start and had to be towed to a repair shop. I chose Honest-1, as they have done great work for me in the past. They were able to diagnose the problem and repair the vehicle in less than one day. Further, the cost was well below what I expected. They also gave me direction on what to do in the future to prevent a recurrence of this problem. Id highly recommend Honest-1 for vehicle service.

I really enjoyed the vibe of this place; very clean and comfortable. At a little after 7 I walked in and was greeted by a beautiful and sweet woman. After the mechanic looked at my vehicle, the lady at the front explained in detail what could be the problem. I returned to my vehicle with an awesome snack inside my cup holder. Thank you! I had a very bad experience getting my oil changed on my old Jeep Wrangler previously at Mavis, so taking my new Jeep to a new shop was a little nerve wrecking. However, I couldn’t recommend Honest-1 Auto enough. They didn’t try to oversell or tell me everything was broken. I also liked how they upload pictures of your inspection online to view. Very satisfied!

Fixed a particularly thorny check engine light issue. It took multiple visits but eventually they got it fixed. Reasonable prices. Id come back.

I had an emissions check done and was able to get in-and-out within 20 minutes (there was no line). The staff was very friendly and made the process very easy. Lastly, the lobby was much nicer than I was expecting before I got there. You can tell that they put care into keeping it clean and comfortable.

Barry was very nice, waiting room was nice. Service was quick and they are true to their name- honest. Will definitely be returning!

Told by a Barry over the phone (Aug 31st 2021, 5:40pm) that they do not give estimates for work over the phone. As I was intending to be a repeat customer, this is an undesired new policy. Had a good experience in the past. :(

Honest-1 Auto is probably the first auto repair shop I have used that I plan on going back to again. They were able to identify my issue, order the part overnight and have everything fixed within 24 hours.On top of that they even order you a LYFT after dropping off your vehicle if you need a ride.Hands down best Auto shop i have ever been to. Highly recommended.

First off I hate leaving bad reviews but this has to be said. Their new tech Tim Glantz does not know how to work on cars in a proffesional matter. He leaves bolts out and loose and then blames it on others. On top of that he offers side work for a cheaper rate than the shop he is working at. PLEASE BE AWARE of this man! Once he is gone from here the name will be back to honest til then DISHONEST auto care will suffice.

I had a great experience at Honest-1 Auto! When I arrived I was afraid there might be a long way time, but after I filled out the paperwork, my car was taken back right away! I was only there for emissions testing, but I was in and out in 15 minutes! The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. They even left a snack bag of goldfish in my car with a sticker of the shops information!

I reached out to Honest-1 looking for a new mechanic I could trust and afford. I had some bad experiences with nearby competitors and ready for a change. I was told from a competitor that my brakes, shocks, and struts needed replacement. Honest-1 did a full inspection and determined that all 3 were just fine. However, they located issues in my battery and brake fluid that I was not aware of. They send me photographs and detailed explanation of what the issues were. The pricing was very fair and I felt very comfortable that they were not trying to take advantage of me. I have found a new mechanic!!

I was very impressed by the professionalism and the speed with which my problem was fixed.

Quick, professional, and transparent. Did a full overview of my 1994 Chevy 1500 pickup and provided photos of everything. They categorized the repairs as necessary or advisable. In my opinion, some of the ones they said were necessary werent, but if I wanted the truck running flawlessly, I guess they could be considered necessary. At any rate, I authorized a couple repairs and they made them quickly and at a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.

I went in for an emission testing done on my car, and was taken care of immediately. they were very nice and the service lasted about 20 minutes, it would have been faster had the internet not gone out while i was there. overall great experience and was rewarded with goldfish in my front seat when i got back in my car!

We took our car in for a misfiring cylinder. Honest-1 did a thorough inspection of the problem and the rest of the car. They provided a digital report, with pictures of the problem and two other areas they noticed on the car that are going to need repair in the future. Their office staff was very knowledgable about what the technician was doing and when the car would be ready.

Did not have an appointment just a referral from Costco. They worked me in and took care of my alignment at a good value all with a smile. Havent used them before but will definitely use them again.

The name says it all. Honest-1 truly live up to their brand. I took my car in for a/c work because I thought it needed serviced - the driver side and passenger side were performing at different temperatures. About an hour after I dropped it off, they called me to let me know I wasnt using the dual mode (so both passenger and driver sides deliver the same temp). Boy did I feel dumb.... When I picked up my car and got the bill - the charge was $0. Cant imagine what that could have been had I taken it to another shop! Thank you Honest-1 team!

Set an appointment for lights to be adjusted. Gentlemen said it would take 30 minutes. Left and came back and they didn’t even attempt it. Said car would need to left overnight to confirm the lights were too low.If that were the case then they shouldn’t have wasted 30 minutes of my time taking the appointment in the morning.Could have just adjusted the lights up as agreed upon but decided to do nothing instead.

After nearly melting from the high dealership estimate I came across this shop. They booked me for the next available business day did a free diagnostic and completed repairs on the same day for half the price! Affordable and fast service is invaluable especially during a pandemic, thank you!

Honest-1 is the first place Ive taken my car to get an oil change where they havent tried to upsell me on something else. At the same time, I feel comfortable that theyve looked at everything to make sure my car is in the best condition. Everyone is incredibly friendly and service is QUICK.

Nice, friendly guys and a shuttle that can take you up to 5 miles away while your car is worked on. They also seem to do good, quality work from what Ive had done with them.In some cases I find their prices are quite a bit higher, though. For example, I found someone to do an alignment for less than half their price and with double the warranty. I tried to go to them for tires, but they were $400 high on 4 tires (not counting the alignment).Im all for paying a little extra for good, honest service, but I think you need to be sure you understand what things cost with these guys so you dont get soaked. Overall, not a bad experience though.

Brought my car in for some warning lights. Ended up needing many items repaired. As I am selling the car, I decided not to get the needed repairs and sell it as is. They were honest and up front about all of the repairs and the cost. They didnt even charge me for the diagnostics. I will definitely bring my new car in when service is required.

I recently visited Honest-1 Auto Care for a free brake inspection and to get an estimate. Everyone was so nice and I didnt wait long. Free snacks and drinks are always a plus and when the work was done they even left some snacks in my car for me! The downside to my visit was the price overall. For a set of rear brake shoes, a set of rear drums and the hardware kit plus labor, the estimate was $700.00. After calling 8 repair shops within the same area, I quickly learned that no one charges that much! Honest-1 was charging $380 more! I got my brakes fixed somewhere else for only 320.00 with all new parts, labor included and I have a lifetime warranty. To me, thats Honest!

These guys truly live up to the name. The owner, Butch is a great man who gives back to the community and runs two great Honest-1 shops.They pay attention to the little things as well as the big. They will tow you to the shop and warranty their work. They use the best parts and they have well trained staff.I realize that I pay more when I go here, yet unlike “cheaper” places, they won’t tell you that you need work that you don’t need. That of course saves a lot of money.Also, the fact that they stand behind and warranty their work can save so much more money. I know more than one person who has taken a car to these guys that they had been told by another shop that needed several hundreds of dollars worth of work, yet once they came in to Honest-1, they found that it was a $120 problem.

First visit today and I was impressed. Friendly, efficient, pointed out a couple car concerns and gave a price to fix them but didnt push it, ran a car fax that showed a recall the car had, and offered drinks/snacks. Cant get much better!

Dropped my car off with Honest-1 for a door lock problem that they solved within an hour and also did the oil change, battery swap, brake fluid change, air filter swap out and installed new spark plugs in the same trip. My car feels brand new!!

I was looking for an emissions inspection station on Google, took a wrong turn and ended up here. They have a nice clean waiting area that I didnt need to use but for 5 minutes. They told me it would take 15 minutes, it only took 5 and I was out of there. Nice, friendly staff. Good, quick service. Thats all I needed that day and exactly what I got.

I had a great experience with Honest 1. They communicate a lot, called any time there was a minor change or preference. Cost was about what I expected. I had an extensive tune-up on my older truck as well as an oil change on my newer Audi Q5. They handled both easily and professionally.

I usually have a very good impression of this office not until recently that I have a engine alert issue, the car has small vibration when in idle. And since this office can make a much earlier appointment than dealer, so I chose to come here. Long story short, the car vibrate much and much more severely and even cannot start up on the road. I have to send to dealer then they the sensor was wrongly installed and since the car vibrate so severely that I have to finish the repair at dealer. Dealer issued a report to help me get refund, but they do not accept saying no picture evidence. But who will think of taking picture for all the following steps? So far, I have their wrong senor on hand and paid extra $400+ without the issue solved. I admit their first appointment response is fast enough, that no dealer is comparable so I gave 1 star only.Honest – 1 feedback: Follow up note: Shop owner contacted me and went through the whole story patiently and politely, that made me felt at much more ease. Several days after I returned the original parts upon requests, he called me and refunded most part of the expense. I told him I trust Honest-1 in this area but this case was accidentally a bad luck to both of us. My family accepted the solution and would still recommended this shop in the neighborhood still.

I took my car in for an oil change which was done promptly. I had forgotten that in 2 weeks I had a note in my calendar to replace the battery because three years ago it died at the first cold weather at a very inconvenient time and place. When the service manager mentioned it was really reading low, I was so grateful for the reminder and in just minutes they had it replaced. It is wonderful to have an auto service business I can really trust.

My wife and I were on a cross-country trip in a 1990 RV. We hit some trouble in Marietta and limped in to Honest-1 thinking we needed to cut our trip short. The boys in the shop managed to rig something up to keep us on the road and after an oil change and tune up we were on the road again. I cant stress enough how great the experience was, these guys are lifesavers!

I had a nail in my tire and needed some quick assistance due to a time constraint - Brian Henry was so generous! He walked out to my car and had great judgement. He sent me to Discount Tire where they took steps to ensure that my tire couldn’t be fixed without replacement. I have been to Honest 1 several times, and I am always pleased with the work they have done to my car. I have known Barry, the Manager, for about 30 years, and he has worked on my familys automobiles for most of that time. Honest 1 has a pleasant waiting room with snacks, drinks, etc., a computer, and a television. You can drop off your car, or wait for the work to be done. Its best to make an appointment, since they are very busy at times.

The service was excellent. They took the time to go over all my options and went so far as to contact the place I purchased my tires from to get the date of purchase, make and model of my tires in order to determine the miles remaining on those tires. Already made my appointment for January 2020!

Just recently visited for the first time and it was a great experience! The staff were friendly and courteous, and the inside is comfortable (vs cheap chairs crammed into a big dealer room)! It is really cute they have a small kid’s area and diapers in the restroom; the small touches show it’s a place that values customers. Will definitely be going here from now on!

Quick, reliable service on my car and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I wanted to find a place close by that would, well, do an honest job of oil change and standard car maintenance. Ive been going to them since March. They do a great job. We only use one car, so I have to wait in the lobby. But the lobby is very nice. There is complementary coffee, water, and soda. I spend about an hour wait for an oil change, but this of course entails my vehicle being checked over as well. Very pleased with their service.

Honest-1 Auto provided exceptional service. Their communications with me and internally were accurate and consistent. In addition, they provided service above and beyond what was required. For example, they vacuumed the floor mats and connected a small tube that had come loose under the hood at no charge.

Was told i needed to replace all brake pads and rotors as well as that my front right was metal on metal. No more than an hour later I had another inspection done and was told my front rotors and brake pads were perfectly fine and that all I needed was new rear brake pads. I went to Goodyear another reputable shop with the same incentive to upsell as I told them the issues I was informed I might have by Honest 1. Will never recommend this shop to anyone. I saved over $500 by not using Honest 1 and my car is running great.

Excellent experience!I have a small pick-up and delivery business and my vehicle is my life support. It suddenly needed a plethora of repairs (more than I could afford all at once). The people at Honest 1 prioritized what I needed, got me back to work immediately and made arrangements for the rest. My daughter took her car into the dealer for scheduled maintenance. In addition to the covered items they suggested an additional $700 worth of “preventative” maintenance. She took the car to Dan and he was able to do everything they suggested and replace a Michelin tire (that needed to be replaced) for $680. I told him it was buy maintenance get a tire for free. A great first experience for my daughter. Not surprised, I have been getting my cars service here for years.

These guys are great. I brought my car in for an oil change and to get a headlight fixed. They drove me back to my office, then took care of the work. Within two hours, the work was completed at a reasonable price, and I found a package of goldfish waiting for me, as always, on my passenger seat. I appreciate the profession service and the great experience at East Cobbs Honest Mechanic.

This company puts the Honest in auto care for sure. Another oil change place (we used them in a pinch) told us we needed in excess of $900 for brake work. We took our vehicle to Honest-1 to do the actual work, but after inspecting the car Honest-1 told us that the vehicle was perfectly fine and didnt require ANY work. I am so grateful for your honesty! I am new to the area, so I had no idea of who to contact for a bumping roar in my truck. I searched online and found this shop. They had an average 4.7 star rating and after reading several customer reviews I was willing to take a risk.Barry was helpful as I explained the sounds I was hearing from my truck. Bill was friendly as he drove me to work. When the problem was found and diagnosed Barry called and gave me the pricing breakdown for parts and labor.When the repairs were made Bill returned to pick me up. The associates at the counter did a fine job during check out and I was quickly on my way.For my first experience this was a good one. It appears this shop can take care of all regular maintenance and minor to major repairs on my truck I plan to keep for a long time.I look forward to my next conversation with Barry to make plans for maintenance on my truck.

Had a bizarre exchange with the desk clerk that resulted in me walking out before they could work on my car, that went like this: Hi, Im here for an AC check on my Volkswagen. Youre dropping it off, right? No. Bill (the guy who took the reservation) told us you were dropping it off. I never said I was dropping it off. (At this point the correct customer oriented response should have been: Our mistake, let me find a way to fit you in. Instead...) Well I cant take it for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Then why did I make an appointment for 9:45? We thought you were dropping it off. You can bring it back at 3:00. But didnt you just say it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours? 3:00 is in 5 hours. If you want us to take it as soon as you get here, you can bring it back at 3:00. Or I can wait now and you can get to it in 1 1/2 to 2 hours? Right. Im sorry, I must be stupid, Im not getting this. Youre saying I can wait here 1 1/2 to 2 hours past my 9:45 appointment, or leave and come back 5 hours from now? Right Well this sucks but I need to get it done and I have a lot to do today. How about I run and errand for 1 hour and Ill be back by the time youre ready? Youll have to leave the car here. Pardon? If you leave, youll have to leave the car here. But you said it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Ill only be gone an hour. Right but if you take the car away I cant guarantee how long it will be. Fine. I need to get this done. Ill just sit here and wait. (To the other desk person) Can I watch the technician do the work? No but you can watch through the window. Um, its a 40 year old classic car and Id really like to watch the tech. Im sorry customers cant go in the garage. Its a liability. Okay, Im done. Please cancel the appointment.I do understand if they have a policy to not allow customers in the work area. Thats not acceptable to owners of classic investment cars, but I should have asked about that while making the reservation. So I cant comment on the quantity of their work but you draw youre own conclusion about the customer service. Maybe I just had bad timing...UPDATE: Butch called me the following day and, having reviewed the tape of the phone call mentioned that it was their mistake and it was not handled correctly. I do believe my experience was unusual and Id like to give them another try. Raising my rating due to his professionalism.

Very good experience and customer service was great. so would recommend them to service your car. the only reason i did not give them a 5 star is i need to see the true value of their pricing that does include a full warranty labor and material for 3 years....so just want to make sure the price lines up to the value. great shop!

We had a rear brake issue on our Jeep Unlimited Wrangler. Our jeep has never seen any other service provider other then a Jeep Dealership that we trusted, to advise use on every service visit, to keep a check on things like brakes inspections wear. We had metal to metal on rear brakes, which cost us more money replacing rear drums. We felt cheated and confused looking over the service record from the dealership checking off brakes inspection as good just one month ago. Honest-1 Auto Care was great to go over our personal dealership records to see if we other missed items. We had two recalls that we did not know about. The service provided was excellent and was done on short notice in one day. Friendly Staff! We have found a good home for our service and repair needs.

Wowza, walking in having failed an inspection, I was greeted by the owner who was friendly & extremely helpful. He listened to my concerns & addresses each issue (including time frame).After waiting no more than ten minutes, the service manager Matt Gilbert came to discuss the situation. Thorough, clear & efficient, Matt explained my options in a way I understood so that I could competently move forward with the issue.To say I have found a new car service provider is an understatement- its a bit of a drive for me to get there & Ill definitely pass other service places on the way, but it is well worth it to have that level of service!Thank you Honest-1!
