The people working there are so helpful. They are knowledgeable and available. When I asked about chainsaws they explained everything to me. They helped me get the best one for the job. Not the most expensive but the one for advanced amateurs .

I feel bad for my last rating of this place, I was unhappy they didnt have a bird house pole. Seeing that most of the hardware stores near me do not carry them either, I can not put blame on the store itself. So I am giving them a full 5 stars. Ive past this store many times and finally decided to stop by. The store was very neat and well organized and I was surprised to see that they carried wallpaper. I thought my wallpaper days were over, but after taking a quick look at the samples I may have to give it some reconsideration. Maybe not the whole room, but maybe a wall or the trim here and there. While there I asked about a problem stripping some old paint off from the trim in my home. They also suggested a novel approach which I have decided to give it a try. While the initial cost is more than stripper, it so far appears to be cheaper in the long run and definitely a whole lot faster.Johnnie was very helpful and took the time to answer my many questions. Definitely a place to go if your doing any serious remodeling. They also have access to flooring and carry a decent selection of hardware.

Over priced, and total A-wholes, have been jerks for over 25 years. Had to go here because it was about the only place around to get Benjamin Moore paint, but now after using both BM and Home Depots top of the line BEHR, I find the BEHR Premium Plus Ultra cheaper and just as good or better then BM. So Im glad to stay I want have to shop at Queen City Paint anymore!
