They were trying to replace(sell) the new tire instead of repair it. And my tire was fixable. The front desk person told me that the tire cannot be repaired, however I took a picture to ask my friend whom the dealer mechanic. And it was easy fix.I don’t recommend this place.Don’t waste your time, money, and also your usable tires.

I called before I arrived and I definitely felt the customer service on the telephone was poor, but I wanted to at least give it a shot in person. When I I arrived I received I the same type of approach or lack thereof. I don’t spend money at a place where I’m not greet politely and professionally. I should not walk into a place of business and feel unsure if the Midas representative is having a bad day or if they’re upset with me or whatever the case may be. I really don’t understand how someone is expecting to receive payment from me and have no professional approach at all to the process. I pulled out, drove to next door, was greeted professionally and respectfully and got the work done there.

William, Jonathan, & so many others are fantastic. I have had the pleasure of their business for two of my vehicles for 8 years (Hyundai & Toyota). They are always well informed, thorough, kind, have great initiative, & they work with you as best as they can.I had to get rid of my first car but needed to drive it to my PA to purchase my new car. They noticed the axel was beginning to fail and repaired it quickly, for a reasonable price so I could make it to PA SAFELY. For this, I am still grateful.The team there is competent, trustworthy, safe, respectful, reliable, straightforward, and always a full of good energy. I really appreciate this group of mechanics.Oh but just ignore the name on their caller ID. They apologize, it is out of their hands (owners last name is not their fault). 😁😁😁Going to miss this place after we move.

I signed up for the oil change and tire rotation. Well they did the oil change but not the tire rotation nor did they top my fluids. Now I have to drive 30 min again to get it done Oh I called the guy on the phone wasnt professional at all.

Small shop and i had the worst expectations. However the staff was friendly and they served me very quickly. They were honest and did not try to pull every penny from me like less reputable shops.This store has earned my respect and future buisness.A+

Great thing about this place is that they dont upsell anything. You tell them what needs to be done and they get it done. The only issue is that they can be slow sometimes, but overall a great place.

These guys are the best. 2 years in a row I come in the day before inspection and they took care of me 2 years in a row. They didnt change my rotors automatically with my brakes but recognized we caught the brake pads early. They do good, quick, quality work. Theyre HONEST. I pretty much switched over to them for all of my maintenance now. Thank you fellas!

The staff running this location are very poor. They kept three customers waiting 20 minutes while one the phone ordering parts. Could have easily put the phone on hold and taken care of the customers in 5. Used the web site to get an appointment and never got a response. Not going back.

William is a great mechanic and keeps everything in check. Very up front and honest. While he knew me for several years the first time my wife brought her car in he treated her with respect before knowing she was my wife. She was happy to not be treated like a “dumb girl”.

Had routine maintenance twice, excellent customer service on last visit for routine service informed that I needed at least one new tire but all tires were at 2/32. Of course was not prepared for such but I was given multiple options regarding cost and types of tires. They gave me good information regarding each brand. The best feeling I got was that even though I was a lady I did not feel taken advantage of as many other automobile places have left me feeling.

Ive been using this Midas location exclusively for the last decade at least. Theyve replaced every minor and major part on both of my Subarus over the years. Everything from oil changes and light bulbs, to transmissions, exhaust systems, and just recently an entire motor swap. Ive never once had a bad experience with either customer service or craftsmanship. Ever fix theyve made has stuck. Every time Ive called, theyve answered. Every question Ive asked, they either know the answer offhand or they do the gritty in depth research to find the right answers. Ive never felt more comfortable with a service shop before in life. I recommend William, Milo and team to anyone and everyone. Theyre open, HONEST, and highly methodical in their approach. If I could give them ten stars on this review, Id give them eleven.

Absolutely the best. I love coming here to get my services done for my vehicle. They have have the nicest staff ever. They dont take forever and some of their employees are good looking, so thats a bonus !

Overall, Ive never had any issues with this particular location. The folks have always been friendly and have provided good service. One thing I will caution, not just with this mechanic but any mechanic is to not take their word or estimate at face value. Let me be very clear, they didnt lie to me. That being said, I took my car in for a diagnostic inspection because the service engine light came on. They informed me that I needed a new catalytic converter. They quoted me with parts and labor approximately $950 (the majority of that being the parts). I thought that was extremely high priced so I went and priced out a catalytic converter from advanced auto. The exact part that Midas was going to charge me approximately $800 for was actually about $350. So I bought the parts and then on a whim called them and asked if they would install it if I bought the parts. They said yes. The parts and labor cost me about $550. So just a word to the wise, buy your own parts and find a mechanic who will install it and only charge labor. It will save you a lot of money that way.

Came here to have my A/C diagnosed and hopefully repaired, depending on cost. Payed $160 and they didnt even diagnose the issue. Ended up getting a bunch of “we dont know, we’re not sure, it could be this, etc.”The host then had the nerve to say for an additional $30, we can check the compressor.Effectively I said “no” and took my vehicle to a auto repair in Manassas downtown where they not only diagnosed the problem (it was the relay where the “geniuses” at Midas couldn’t figure out) they also fixed it for a total of $80.Unless you know someone there personally who can hook you up and get you a deal, I would avoid this and all mainstream, publicized auto repair shops and just go somewhere downtown.

Been coming here for two years, prices seem fair, great work, and the guy that’s always in the front...easy to talk to, helpful, honest! I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of when I go here for services!

They were so wonderful! I had to have my tail pipe replaced. They were extremely easy to work with. I bought the part myself (much cheaper) and they only charged me labor. It also took much less time than originally thought. I definitely plan on going there again!

William is always patient, knowledgeable and kind. Their prices beat the hell out of a shop that charges “book rates” or the little guy small shop I started going to that talked about low prices but were just normal. Also Mil Discount.

I had no problem with my service

On May 21, 2014 we were staying in our travel trailer at the local campground. My tailpipe was broken from the muffler. The staff at this Midas were extremely friendly and helpful. We went into this Midas on Wednesday. They could not get us in immediately but scheduled us on Friday, May 23. To hold us until our appointment they temporarily secured the tail pipe to assure that it did not fall off until we could permanently fix the problem. Since our pickup was the only transportation that we had, the manager drove us back to the campground after we dropped off our vehicle for repairs. As promised, at the end of the day we had a new exhaust system and the truck was delivered to us at the campground. The new exhaust system was the highest quality and was at a fair price. I give this Midas the highest marks for a job well done!

Do not take your car there.William the service adviser screws up credit card transaction mostly.They do sloppy brake jobs over the years.When they do oil changes they sometimes forget to put in new oil.When they do a job that take less than an Hour they charge 2 hours labor.They been known to rip off elderly people.

Milo is awesome, its honestly too bad hes leaving. From the moment you walk in, the staff is very friendly and kind. Bad and slow service. I took my toyota corolla 2010 model for virginia state inspection to the Manassas center. They tried to charge me $80+labor charges for one DRL bulb that would have costed $10 at any other place. They were trying to cheat me thinking of me as an amateur. They were not ready to accept that they were overcharging me until I said this is absurd and I dont want the services, I can change the DRL bulb on my own and wouldnt mind if the inspection failed and I will go somewhere else. Again after giving me the final quotation and getting my sign on the invoice they tried to charge me more than the said amount. For a DRL bulb with part price $0.99 + $12 labor they tried charging me $30 for labor and increased the price again. Even while I requested them if they could help me put on my new liscence plates as I wasnt able to unbolt the old plates, they gave me a cold look saying, you want us to do that?? . Common thats basic customer service, I am paying lot of money. At last while paying the bill, I requested it to split on my two cards they didnt even like it and gave a rude reply. I am never going their again and wouldnt recommend anyone else too. Completely disappointed.

I took my car to do this mechanic to replace the brake pads then they told me that I have to replace calipers, hoses etc I paid thousand dollars but they did it improperly I got back them they dont want to take responsibility I took to the dealer they told me its been a installation problem. I took a car to then again to complain they dont want to take responsibility now I have to pay another thousand dollars just because those guys they dont know what they doing please dont take your car over there because they dont know anything

Thus so far my experience has been horrible. Dont patronize this establishment. There is a critical failure to monitor there junior mechanics; which leads to poor workmanship and ultimately more money out of the consumers pocket. My wife delivered my car to receive a tune up, the very next day my vehicle started having engine related issues.The manager tried to lead us to believe that this was a coincidence and we should spend another 400 dollars to repair this new issue. Save your money, go to a more reputable shop with better oversight of its technical staff, youll save in the end.

My son took his Hyundai Elantra in to get an inspection. They failed it because of a trans mount and the emergency brake. He was quoted a price of 358 dollars. When he went to bring it in the next day, they changed their minds...now the price is 885 dollars, oh and the warehouse sent the wrong part. Now hes going today and theyve already let him know the part price was wrong and the part is 100 dollars more. My son is going to college and needs this inspection done by tomorrow. If he didnt need this to pass inspection I would take it somewhere else.As it is, they will NEVER get another of our cars through their shady, price-gouging doors. Three days and three different quotes? Give me a break. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these people.

This place does good work. The only problem is that the shop is very dirty. The mechanics cloth are always dirty. My car is often left with black marks on the seats and car mats soiled. They do not place plastic on the floor and seats like most shops do.

Find another place. Theses guys are a joke for real. Dont waste your time or money when there are better shops across the street. Unbeliable lazy, slow and poor attitudes.

I know this auto shop for almost three years and I take both my cars here for whatever needed, oil changes, brakes, inspections, repairs, and any possible issues. The wait area needs some updates but the service I receive is more important to me. They have given me more reasonable quotes than anywhere else for any repairs and I have never taken my cars back because of a misrepair or complaints. William, the manager, and John, the assistant manager, are truely honest and help people save time and money on unnecessary or false repairs that other autoshops have told the car owners were necessary. I moved to another city a year ago and still take my cars here. Definitely recommend it.

Came here to get a new tire.First they told me they could fix the one I had for $20, then about 30minutes later said they couldnt I needed to pay $117 for a new tire.No apology or anything staff was rude and very slow functioning.Will rather keep the donut and go somewhere else than give them my money after how they treated me.

I had an appointment and I had to wait 2 hours for an oil change. Apparently getting and appointment only means they have your information, it doesnt have anything to do with being in line, priority, or getting served before people without appointment. On top of that, the guys had an attitude of a diva.

Today I went to Midas at Manassas VA to have my car oil change and tire rotation. Before I went I did mark all the tires with numbers from 1 to 4. I was told because its saturday it will take around 2 hours to complete oil change and tire rotation. I went back after 2 hours to check the job is complete. The guy told me oil change and tire rotation is done. After I went to take my car and to my shocking suprise MIDAS DID NOT DO THE TIRE ROTATION. MIDAS lied to the customer about their job. I decided NOT to GO to MIDAS ever because MIDAS is NOT a honest place to have your cars maintenance.

I had a small problem that they knocked out quick and inexpensively, and got me through emmisions.

I asked to look at old part to see what problem was and was told that they trashed. I asked warranty, was told only on parts for a year. I asked for receipt for part from dealership oem part and was told they dont have it, if i need, just show their receipt.Wont come back.

I came to get my car inspected. They failed me for rear shocks and foggy headlights. I replaced the headlights but couldnt believe that I wasnt told about my shocks from a different company when I bought new tires two months prior. Anywho I took it someplace else to get it reinspected and it passed. Wont be coming here again.

We went to twice and were given horrible service both times. The first time they gave us a new tire that continued to leak and had to be filled every week. They refused to give us a new tire or say it was their fault. The last time we were in there, they let my car idle for well over an hour which caused it to overheat and to burn through a huge amount of oil and crack the seal on the radiator.

They install cheap parts. I took my car in to have my timing belt and water pump replaced which cost me $1,000. Now, less than two years later, I had to replace the water pump again, paying $800 because they installed a cheap water pump in my car. They cut corners, making people pay for work twice.
