My grandmother recently went onto hospice and we tried to send her flowers at her Assisted Living. Unfortunately due to the Texas storm they were late being shipped in from out of state and only arrived in Madison a week late after her condition had declined more and she had to move out of the Assisted Living into a hospice house. When we finally got the shipping notification marked “undeliverable - recipient moved” we figured it was a lost cause. Much to our surprise and my Grandma’s delight, the flowers arrived at the hospice the next day with “MUST DELIVER TODAY” in big red letters on the slip. So grateful to FedEx for whatever extra effort it took to get the flowers to Grandma promptly while she and the flowers were both still alive so she could appreciate them. You guys made our day.

Its a very convenient location with plenty of parking. Ive been using this location for many years and some of the original staff are still working. The staff is helpful and willing to assist you. They offer online printing/copies, in store services, package pickup and package shipping.

Not really angry at the staff, just FedEx in general. Lost my package, delivers it very late and refuses to put me in touch with a human customer representative. 10/10 would go to UPS next time.

Never had a good customer service in this Fedex location. Some staffs are rude and impatient, like they are forced to work there. This is not the only Fedex location and Fedex is not the only shipping company, I dont need to spend my money on a company which has staffs probably rolling their eyes while talking to me over the phone. I called you because I trusted you, but now you let me down. I will avoid using Fedex in the future.

Staff was just doing there job but took 3 hours total to get my 5 dollar package that was not delivered to me and could not be scheduled for redelivery. use a different service for any of your needs do not trust this company to get it done effectively or well.

Did a photoshoot and never had my photography printed out before. They called me and offered me an opinion on my picture looking better on a different kind of material and boy did it ever. Really happy with how it turned out.

I need to print and application from my phone, fill it out and then scan it back to a document. The young lady at the desk was very helpful walking me through the steps and helping when issues arose. This place is too notch in my opinion and the knowledge and friendliness of the staff makes it worth coming back.

I went to FedEx late last night, because I needed to send a 34 page fax, and dont have a fax machine. I did notice that this business got a lot of bad reviews. But....I too am a local business, and we tend to get bad reviews for no good reason from time to time too, and because of this, never go by reviews. I would like to share my experience, which was very good. There was one person working. A guy named Travis. Extremely helpful, and extremely personable. He helped me send a super long fax, then made a slew of copies for me. There were other customers in their at the same time as well. So...dont listen to the bad reviews. They are helpful and awesome there. Reviewers, consider the state of our economy, and the fact that small business is the backbone of the economy before ruthlessly bashing a business online. Going straight to the management will be much more effective for you anyway.

Today I stopped in to print a few 11x17 PDFs and mount on foam core.Alyssa was incredibly efficient and helpful. She was able to get my project done in under 15 minutes and while finishing two other existing projects first. The printing and mounting quality look great! I was extremely impressed with my experience today.FedEx; please staff more people like Alyssa!

OK so you have a stack of papers... let’s say 10 and you had to fill them out and sign them etc. Now somebody asks you to email them. You think that this FedEx print center would be able to help you with such a task... but No! the only way that they can scan your 10 page document is with a single flatbed scanner you must manually load each sheet one at a time into the computer then compile it and send it. So don’t come here thinking that any of their fancy $10,000 copy machines are capable of scanning a stack of papers and emailing it because it won’t happen! Don’t waste your time here you can do everything at home or download the damn app called Tiny Scan!

Packing might take all day...All new customers entering the store stopped any progress on our boxes until staff finished their orders. If we had left and returned we would have been waiting again. The policy is: packing happens only when no new customers are presenting. Still, the finished result is sturdy.

Im disabled and cant lift items heavier than 20 lbs. The staff at the FedEx center at 654 W Washington Ave in Madison, WI have always been accommodating, friendly and happy to carry packages to my vehicle or from my vehicle. Yes, they have busy times and sometimes I have to wait, especially when I get four cases of wine shipped in from California. No problems - and, BTW, packing stuff correctly is something they understand.

This was easily the worst customer service experience I’ve had in a while. I arrived to make copies half an hour before closing as I had just gotten off work. I am in town from out of state and desperately needed a printer/copier for work in the morning. I was immediately told by the one man working they were closing soon. He proceeded to remind me of it every 5 minutes and would come watch my progress over my shoulder. Once it was almost 10:00, he sternly told me the hours were inflexible and I had to leave. I was finishing my last copy at 9:59 and he watched over my shoulder, scoffed, and rolled his eyes when I apologized multiple times and thanked him for being patient. As I left at 10:02 (two minutes after closing) I sincerely thanked him again and apologized for holding him up by two minutes. He said absolutely nothing, ushered me out standing uncomfortably close to me, then literally pulled the door closed on me as I told him to have a great night. I will be calling in the morning to speak directly with a manger.

If you need fantastic help at this location, ask to work with Skyler or Sven. They know printing & shipping inside and out, know the store stock and have successfully answered just about every question Ive ever thrown at them. The rest of the staff is good, as well. This branch is heads and shoulders above the other locations in Madison (Im looking at you, East Wash. location).

I promised myself a year ago I would never come back to this store. Well I came back. My fiancee wanted to get some prints done for our wedding coming up soon so we just said screw it and went to this FedEx. It was the worst experience Ive had in a LONG time. Let me start by saying that we had 12 SHEETS that needed to be printed, yes, only 12. We walked in at 7 pm and our sheets werent done until 10pm, thats 3 hours for 12 sheets. The woman that eventually helped us wasnt very helpful at all. I asked a few questions about the weight of the different papers and she threw a book on the counter with some samples, and when I asked here questions about those she didnt know so basically I taught myself everything I needed to know. She then would come over by us in about 10 minute increments. At this point she was told by another older employee to help a customer and she literally told him NO and told him that he cant just tell her when to help somebody. They then got into an argument in front of all of us and he walked away. Then he came back and told that same customer that he had somewhere to be and that when he says to be there at 7 he means 7. I was just completely taken back. YOU DONT TALK TO CUSTOMERS THAT WAY. So I could see this whole printing thing was going to take forever so my fiancee wrote a note for the employee saying exactly what was needed for each print and we gave it to a guy working there who said he would relay the message. We went next door to Panera and had dinner for 40 minutes, came back and NOTHING had been printed. I was over the top pissed, so my fiancee handled the rest. Long story short after both of us had super long days at work a printing job that shouldve taken 10 minutes at most took 3 hours. We left right at closing (10pm) I will never on my life go back to this store, it sucks.

I was in a hurry and needed just some copies made, the one employee I saw helped me get them done very quickly. I made my appointment on time, with my copies.This place is fine. Since its a mostly self-service place, employees arent going to run to you to help you use the equipment unless you ask for help.

Ive been using this shop regularly for a fair number of years, but after today will never use it again. I dont mean to imply its been fine so far, however. Quality on all fronts, in fact, has been steadily deteriorating pretty much the entire time. There are increasingly fewer machines. The remaining machines are less reliably in good working order. Flexibility and options have been decreasing. The staff is increasingly unhelpful, annoying, beligerant, and just plain stupid. The worst of the lot by far, however, is the store manager, a certain Jennifer who wont reveal her last name, and for me she is the last straw. I very strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere as I will myself from now on.

Add me to the list of people held hostage by their BS you need to add more packing to this package for $3.99 charge. I wont ever be back. I use UPS on Fordham Ave now. They are friendly, helpful, and will actually not try to scam you with bogus charges.

Similar experience as other customers. This place will tell you sorry, your package doesnt have enough bubble wrap. We can fix it for you got an extra charge. I had four boxes, two of which were literally from fedex. They told me they couldnt ship cause it wasnt packed tight enough. I pushed in one the boxes and it went in 1/2 an inch. She said it couldnt move in at all. I tried explaining bubble wrap pushes in, thats the point of it. They clearly have direction from management to hit sales goals by pushing their packaging. I went to the other fedex and they took the package no problem. Trust the reviews on here. Stay away from this place.

I have never had an issue here. I have worked in environments like this and understand its really hard to please everyones issues, even if the staff wants to. Such as telling customers they are really busy even if no other customers are there. They are working on orders people have left. I am fine with waiting a few moments. The two gentlemen that are there later in the evening, one brown hair and one blonde hair were very nice and helped me promptly. They explained everything I needed for my print and bind project I needed. He suggested a kind of paper as well and the paper was perfect for what I was printing. Would defiantly recommend!

Long story. It was Wed when the package first came. I was not home and the slip on the door tag where you can sign and ask them to leave the package at the door was ripped off. I just cannot be home the next afternoon and while tracking it online, there was no other options rather than pick it up myself, so I decided to let them try a 2nd time and see when they usually come so I could try to stay home on Friday afternoon. This time they left a door tag WITH the slip! I was very happy and signed it and glued it to my door. While coming home Friday afternoon, the signed door tag was still there and they left a third door tag, again without the slip like the first one. I was totally confused. I tracked it online and it suggested that it would to be delivered Saturday. That was good news. Then Saturday morning 8AM I received a call from them asking where they should drop the package so I could pick it up myself. So no delivery any more. I chose this one since it is not very far from my house. The person who called me said that I should be able to pick it up after 3PM on Saturday. So I went there a bit before 3PM (which was stupid). The receptionist asked for my ID and I showed her my passport. She refused to take it because she thought she cannot read my language. Then I had to explain that a passport is supposed to be readable by foreigners and it has all my info in English on it. Then she was able to check for me but the package was not there. She doubted that the package would come until Monday because FedEx Ground operates Mon-Fri. Apparently among the three door tags, one of them says FedEx Ground(Mon-Fri) and two of them say FedEx Home Delivery(Tue-Sat)! I was even more confused. Then she offered to call when the package arrives if theres a phone number on the package. Since someone from FedEx already called me, I assume she would be able to get my number as well if she wanted. There was no call from them. On Sunday afternoon I tracked the status of the package again and it suggested that it was delivered... without any information of the location... I could only assume they dropped it at this location so I called. Thank god it was there and I was able to pick it up. The whole process was very confusing. I doubt I will use FedEx ever again if I have other options.

The gentleman helping me was very nice but had no idea what he was doing. Three times he had to call someone else over to figure out the computer. He made numerous mistakes and almost charged me 35 extra dollars until I pointed the error out to him. If you need stuff shipped, dont go for fedex. Way too expensive

This FedEx is right in our neighborhood and I have always received great service and sufficient attentiveness while using their printers/copiers/fax machine/etc. A machine is always open or a very short wait away, and they are really friendly upon checkout. Its clean and everything is always in working order - I really appreciate that!

Went there today to print business cards. First of all, its ridiculously expensive. They charge you 14 dollars just to cut the cards, no matter if you order 10 or 1000, and every 10 cards cost 1.25 to print. So, to make 100 cards, it costs 28 dollars!!! If you are not in a hurry, any website can make 100 for less then 10 bucks, most of them shipping for free. Besides that, I took two files of my card, a publisher one and a image one. The quality of the printing was awful and when I complained the guy said that it was because it was an image file (and it didnt occur to him mentioning that before), but I had printed a sample in my office before and it was much better. Also, he didnt even try to use the other file and he absolutely did not care when I told that I hated the cards. If you have a printer, just buy the paper and print/cut it yourself.

The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. Im not the most tech savvy person but the staff was patient and professional. They explained everything in laymans terms and followed up with me to make sure I was able to get my project completed. I normally hate going to shops like this but this location seems to be the right place to go!

Skylar, the employee who answered the phone, did an EXCELLENT job of customer service and eased my fears right off. He talked me through the instructions to send the file to him for printing and followed up appropriately. 5 Stars and a Kudos to Skylar and FedEx!!

I came in to pick up an order. I said I believe you have an order waiting for me and gave my name. They said they have no such order for me and turned me away. I had to call the manager to tell me that they did have my order. I came back and reiterated that I had an order to pick up under my name. The rude little boy who turned me away the first time indignantly informed me that I gave him the false impression it was a fed ex delivery and not a print order. Im never going back.

I was visiting for a scientific conference from out of town, and needed to print a large poster. Based on my schedule, it would have to be printed the Monday I arrived in town, with the conference on a Tuesday. Bobs Copy Shop was closed. Posters cost around $100 and take up to a day to print, so it was something I didnt want to be screwed up.Based on the previous reviews, I was very hesitant about Fedex, but had no choice.Turns out, my fears were unfounded. I set up the poster remotely, and talked to someone local within hours. They printed the poster the next day (with basic double-checks on formatting, etc.) and called me back. It was ready and looked great when I arrived, and they have large plastic bags for holding the posters. Everyone I talked to was competent and helpful, and I was very pleased with the service!(Even better, being from out of town, it was convenient to rent and ride a red B-Cycle from the Capitol area down to Fedex).

I use it second time, and second time the service is far away from ideal. They attempted to deliver my package, but i wasnt at home. I called them and asked to pick it up in the office. them said my package is gonna be at the office on Friday. On sat i stopped by and package wasnt there. now is tue, and they say it might be there after 3 pm :(((Before I used Fedex to send stuff to Canada, and they told its gonna take 5 days. i left the office pretty happy. after 2 office days they called me and said its still in Madison and they need more information to send it, in particular, which country everything in the package was made in - like if i know it on the top of my head. very disappointed..

Like others have said, customer representative insists on selling box fillers for $3.99 even though the box has been stuffed. Comparing my experience between UPS store and FedexUPS have a drop off zone, where you literally drop your package and leave. Fedex have no such zone and makes you wait in line.I have never been asked to buy for box fillers from UPS, unlike Fedex, I had to wait in line to have customer representative to check and then deny me from shipping my item unless I pay $3.99.

People are nice and good hours but very expensive prices as with all FedEx. I usually use office max but when something is super time critical I use kinkos. definitely try Bobs first if possible, theyve got the best prices (but the slowest turnaround)... plus theyre local which is always preferable. 1) Bobs 2) office max 3) kinkos with 1 being slowest/worst hours/cheapest and 3 being most expensive/best hours/fastest(if youre printing large format plans or anything big, ignore everything else and go to bpi color instead)

Useless. I went in to print out a few sheets of paper and was basically laughed out of the building for such a small request. The employees are not helpful and do not take time to help you find a solution. Their only suggestion was to pay to use their computers. This place is a joke. Avoid at all costs!

Service counter staff was helpful, but the quality of the color printing was poor. I had to toss a number of color copies I made there this week for customers due to their unprofessional appearance (and ended up reprinting the same content at a UPS Store).

I took FedExs reviews on Google with a grain of salt. Today Im logging on to review and confirm that, yes, they are rude and condescending. I was curious to understand how the print process worked so I could better my Photoshop file. Unfortunately, now Im vetting about their customer service on Google.If youre about the bottom-line, know that if you are a novice at print, they wont make any adjustments for you. Other places like Staples Copy & Print will work with your Photoshop file, and if you dont like how your print turns out, they will keep making changes until it is how you like it.

Online order didnt work, so I called customer support and they told me to contact the local branch and I ended up placing an order by email. They promised they would call me back 4 times and they didnt all 4 times. Order ended up taking longer than promised and had to cancel.
