Great shop, extremely knowledgeable staff that are working djs. Mike the owner is the best and will take the time to answer questions. They are there to help the beginners as well as seasoned pros.

I’ve taken two vintage turntables there over the course of a year to get some aging audio output cables replaced. They were able to help with both (one of which is a really rare, very old table) with ease. I appreciate the honesty, knowledge, and friendliness of the staff. I don’t know a lot about audio equipment, so coming into this niche store was a little intimidating. But I felt respected and appreciated as a customer even though I’m not their “typical” clientele. I always recommend them for turntable repairs when my friends need them! I’m sure they’re great in their other areas of expertise, too.

This is the place to go. Locally owned, knowledgeable and awesome staff and they literally are cheaper than Guitar Center and often Amazon. They have demo gear out and a great selection. They offer FREE classes! I simply could not recommend a business more. This is the place for your gear, or even just to talk music making.

Holds free lessons for scratching records and Ableton. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the atmosphere is SUPER CHILL. Love this place.

I needed some random y splitter cables to get my sub to work with a vintage receiver I have, and if I can buy local I will, but with Radioshack gone I Wasnt really sure where else to go, on a Sunday too when everyone else is closed.Googled and found this place, good reviews, called and he had what I needed with a little joke about charging more because now he knows I need them haha.I went in quick to get them and I think I ended up staying another 20 minutes or so just talking to the guy. Hes AWESOME. Knows his stuff, find out hes from Rockford, IL where Im from. Had a good 10 minute discussion about pizza! haha.Places like this is why I try to support local businesses.
