We have gone here quite a few times in the past, and used a lot of their pick up features due to Covid. They are always extremely helpful wether inside or outside the store. Anyone you ask will help you find what you are looking for and if you need to do a return, etc. they do not hesitate to help you any way they can. So from a customer service standpoint, they are all knocking it out of the park…They have what you need for electronic items and you can simply pull up and they will run your items out to your car almost instantly.Keep up the good work!

I love Best Buy but I have noticed a HUGE difference between the customer service structure 5 years ago and now. The main thing is that when you go to the store, and it’s like you have arrived in a ghost town. You see workers but no one comes to check in to see if you need help or any assistance. That is quite unacceptable.

Typical Best Buy- has just about every piece of technology you may need. However, Ive found lately that its usually cheaper to order through Amazon. Thats also the exact same products/brands. When I dont have time to wait for shipping on something I need as soon as possible, Best Buy almost always has it.

One of my favorite stores. I just love technology and this store has everything Ive wanted and more. When I had questions, the guys there not always had answers but they did research to get me one.In terms of prices, theyre average, I wouldve expected better prices but theyre identical to Walmart, Target or even Amazon in many things. This is probably something they could consider to give a competitive advantage.

Wonderful Best Buy location! The store is large and has a huge variety of pretty much anything you could want. The staff was all supper friendly and willing to help customers in any way possible. Over all, the staff seemed fairly knowledgeable in their specific departments. Well as knowledgeable as one could expect for a department store employee.

They follow the standard rule of Best Buy: when you dont need help, you will be asked if you need help every few minutes. When you need help or an associate, there is no one around. Open box deals are good. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bought something quickly before closing and they were really friendly even though they probably wanted to leave soon.

Best buy is what it is for overpriced electronics, but for appliances in Madison go to Grand Appliance. I have zero affliation to either, but same prices and much more knowledgeable people and better service. I sat walking around best buy for 20 mins as the only apparent sales guy was talking about how he used to work at Sears, and not selling a single product, I was flummoxed. I was going to give them a credit card, but was completely ignored for 20 min. Finally I was approached by a guy who had been on his phone for said 20 min, who then told me they actually dont have appliances I can take home. Ok, thats normal. But then I was told I also have to buy all the hookups from them or its not warrantied and pay for their delivery/install. Racket. Anyway, go to Grand and do not go to Brothers Main for any reason whatsoever.

I needed a tv remote for my (literally) dying elderly father. I thought this location had a remote to purchase, but they did not. I could order it, but time was of the essence. Surprisingly, the (bearded, white guy) who was helping me actually pulled out spare remotes from a drawer and GAVE me the right one! No purchase necessary. His kindness and resourcefulness has converted me into a Best Buy customer FOREVER! Thank you Best Buy, and thank you nice, breaded, white man!

Drove over 3.5 hours to pick up an online order. Upon arrival, the associate had difficulty locating my order. Once found, associate told me that the decals that were part of my special pre-order, were out-of-stock. (After driving home, got an email and text, that my special decals were now available.) On my special order, they had placed a sticker on the cardboard packaging; horrible idea. Because it was raining, my life-partner and I chose to walk around, and check out the rare Magnolia room. In the back of the store(appliance dept) we were not approached one time. There was literally pallet plastic wrap and trash, littering the back corner of the store. Its obviously a test market/marquee store(being located in the boonies of Wisconsin) and this store could not be any worse of an impression, of what a bestbuy tries to be. Belive you me, nobody here is bleeding the blue mentality of a well-run best buy store.

I got there and they sent me home with my laptop on hand. They told me to make an appointment to be seen by the Geek squad. I made the appointment to be back 40 minutes later. And I was sent home again, they wouldn’t look at it because I didn’t have service package. I only had virus protection, I had bought it two months earlier, which did not protect my computer. I bought my computer there several years ago, but I will never go back.

Very disappointed in Geek Squads battery repair service. I brought my phone in for a battery repair/replacement. They didn’t communicate with me while I was there. I had to continually ask questions to get information. Will this cost anything? How long is this expected to take? Etc. They told me 1-2 hours (after I asked) then we left. We came back 1.5 hours later and they said they were working on it and it would still be another 45 minutes. I googled the average time to replace a battery and found out it was only 20 minutes. We came back to the store 1 hour after that to pick up my phone. Later I received an email with the progress tracking. It said “phone dropped off at 1:00” “phone was assigned to agent at 3:18” “phone complete at 3:19” this angered me the most to learn that 1. They didn’t begin working on my phone when they said they did and 2. It was only 1 minutes worth of work. Why couldn’t they have done it right then and there when I initially dropped it off and had me wait maximum 10 minutes? Instead I waited over 3 hours for a whole minutes worth of actual work. Also, I did have an appointment with them which makes the wait I had even more aggravating.

I asked an associate about an iPhone case and the label on it saying “new iPhone 2021” and if it would work for the iPhone 13 mini. He went on his microphone asking for another associate to assist me, one never showed up. So he looked it up on his phone and gave me a stupid answer he found off Google. Not very happy with the service. Also a couple months prior my screen protector shattered so I took it in for my lifetime warranty replacement and they put it on and did an absolutely horrible job. Air bubbles on all 4 edges of the phone. Will not be going back anytime soon to this location.

Couldn’t believe the customer support today. Geek squad tech support suggested I buy a high priced storage device to backup a little data on my laptop. No thanks.Next, I asked the portly blue shirt worker for assistance with an earbud purchase. He radioed my request. I waited. Waited. No rep showed up to help me but the next isle over a portly rep in a black shirt was helping a couple. Hmm. Okay. alright. Maybe he was not the rep assigned to me. Waited longer. Left area and walked back to tv section.Saw the same portly sales agents in a black shirt walk pass. I assumed he was helping another customer and decided to window shop until he was free. I waited.I sauntered over to the sound bars to see about purchasing one for my 79 year old cancer patient mother. I tested them out, thinking the noise would bring a sales rep. Didn’t work. But when I turned around mr portly in the black shirt was helping another family new to the area. Wow. I got it. Not helping the black lady tonight! Okay. Fine.Found two items I considered purchasing but items did not have price tags nor were they tagged correctly on shelves. I took items to the front of the store and a young female sales rep asked me “did you find everything okay.” 😳 I fired off everything wrong with the evening. She took it personally and apologized. I told her “don’t apologize, its not your fault. It’s just how it is.”I’m embarrassed to think I would receive fair treatment. Not even fair, but un-biased customer support, at the least!. Best Buy employees taught me to never get comfortable with the idea that help is available to me. Thanks for the constant reminder, Best Buy.

Shocked by the incompetence of their staff members. I ordered two Pokemon card Mewtwo boxes online. When I showed up to pickup the product, I was given the Greninja version instead of Mewtwo. My labels were swapped with another persons, so someone else took my product. The problem is that these products were sold out everywhere, and I RELIED ON BESTBUY when I preordered with them. They only offered returns and no compensation what so ever for their mistake. WHOEVER CAUSED THIS SHOULD BE FIRED, LEARN TO READ BEFORE STICKING NAME LABELS TO YOUR PRODUCTS! Giving 2 stars instead of one because, even though the staffs were not helpful at all, they appear to be at least friendly.

The Best Buy at West Madison is always beyond expectations. The staffs there are very friendly and willing to help. Here I just want to specially thank the online pick-up team. I placed a pick-up order at West Madison Best Buy but went to the store at East Madison by mistake. I checked in at the East store and waited for a while. The team from the west Mad store called me and I realized this is the wrong place for picking up... The staff from the west store kindly helped me to keep the item and I picked it up the next day. They are very responsible and make sure that every item goes to the right person. I will definitely come back to shop more in the future! Thank you, guys!

Between honoring their price match policy when they feel like it, to hit or miss interactions with customer service where they don’t listen to the situation nor even apologize for any inconvenience, I don’t feel like spending a lot of money here anymore. Preordered a item for delivery on launch day. Best Buy rep as well as the website order page assured me it would arrive by launch day. Today is launch day and it hasn’t even shipped. Too many disappointments with Best Buy lately.

Employee seemed to have no knowledge about the items they were selling (computer tower) had to scan every item and read it off his phone. The items I was interested listed a special bundle offer with free item when asked I was told there was no free item I could get a discount on a monitor but it was out of stock. He then told me the tower I wanted was also out of stock but he did have an upgraded morning expensive version. I found the monel I was looking for on the shelf In Stock. I then bought a monitor separately.

Ok I got inline at 3pm for there gpu drop and there is a kid that has his tent setup infront of the line.. He claims hes holding a spot for 20 of his friends. But his friends didnt show up till around 7pm and cut infront of everyone thats been waiting in line for hrs. I hope BestBuy can do something about this line cutting. I hope they review the camera and remove the whole group for cutting.. Maybe people will think twice about cutting in line and Best Buy can show they are looking for order in these drops instead of letting people just deal with it. Its just fair to remove the line cutters. 2 stars until its fixed. Please fix this Best buy.

Price matching is decent but limited, and you can usually find the same things way cheaper online from places they Dont price match. Everyone was very helpful, however, after shopping around online we found that Best Buys in store prices are much higher than their online prices. For example, we found a product listed for $69 online and when we got to the store it was $79. Every shopper should do their internet investigating before purchasing in store because those savings add up!

I called to ask a number of questions. With Covid, the holidays, the time of day, and life in general, I was not at all surprised by the longer than usual wait time on the phone. After being on hold for maybe 40 minutes, Dave answered all my questions and provided additional information and suggestions. I did not feel like he was trying to sell me on more expensive than I was looking for products, yet he was suggesting value to quality opinions. It was a very informative phone call, though I am sure Dave is used to the basic array of questions I had. Thanks for the help Dave! I now feel more confident to make my purchasing decision!Though I gave 5 stars, I would give zero stars for the holiday wait music. I would like to request non-holiday wait music? Please?? Something a bit more lively, with some groove? Being on hold for almost 40 minutes, holiday wait music was not at all the vibe I needed.

Highly unsatisfied with the lack of commitment with their service repairs. Recently, my Samsung refrigerators freezer and cooling stopped working and waited about a week to have a technician come in. Only to find out the day of they couldnt find anyone to help with our service and wanted to set up another appointment wasnt till another 2 weeks!!! Are you kidding me? Why wait last second to tell us that? When we waited about a week, our food and all our groceries near spoiled. Oh and by the way, i was put on hold for AN HOUR to set up the appointment! LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM! I love Best Buy, but they dropped the ball on this one. Highly disappointed with this.

I had a very positive experience at this Best Buy when dealing with a very tricky problem (pre-order a new phone and port my phone number to a different carrier). Folks at AT&T and Verizon tried their best, to no avail, and the problem was eventually solved by tech support guys at this Best Buy and their patient tireless approach. Went for cable management solutions to hide my cables for my entertainment center. Asked a young man for assistance and he vaguely gestures at the power strips then walked away. Maybe he wasnt super knowledgeable on the subject or didnt like the look of me or was very busy but it felt very odd.For best buy employees usually being almost overly eager to help I found this very off-putting and obviously didnt find what I was looking for. If I could give zero stars I would. My laptop broke and I work from home so its important I have a working device. I happened to have enough points on my card to purchase a laptop so I did. I didnt see any email from Best Buy for a few days and they stated there would be pick up in 24 hours so I called. I waited on hold for 40 min only to be sent to the corporate best buy who stated that there was in fact a 10 business day wait and that I needed to wait for an email. If didnt receive an email in 10 business days to call back. So 10 business days later I call back as I had not received an email (I have gotten emails from Best Buy before no problem and also checked my spam) and they had CANCELLED my order because I had not picked it up... It takes 48 hours to return my points back to my card so I can start this awful process over. I have now been on hold for over an hour just to talk to someone about it. I wish removing my business from them would have an impact but their too big and dont care about the incredible inconvenience theyve caused.It will be at least 4 weeks from the time I purchased my computer until I may get it meaning that I have to go into the office during COVID (with a compromised immune system).

Do not order any appliance here and trust them for any delivery. First off, they give a 7 hour delivery window, 12-7, so had to take a day off of work, and guess what, nothing or no one showed! No call, no email, no nothing. Called store multiple times with numbers given and do you think I could talk to someone about it? No! Finally get ahold of corporate and now they say we can deliver them10 days later!? Are you kidding me!? Dont waste your time or money qnd go somewhere else! If I could give negative stars I would!

I rarely write reviews but my recent experience with Best Buy Madison West necessitated expressing my opinion. I recently purchased 2 high quality and expensive large screen televisions. My salesperson was Spencer. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping me make my choices. More importantly, he was honest about any pricing changes and easily accessible and responsive via texting. I give him an A+! Next was Nathan. He was scheduling the delivery and installation. I had to change the schedule 4 times because of delays in my home renovation. Nathan was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating of this major inconvenience. He gets an A+. Delivery and installation was finally today. Cameron and Don came on this frigid morning right on time. They installed, tested, and reviewed the TVs with me at length. They were extremely professional and carefully cleaned up afterwards. They both get an A+. Unfortunately, these days it is so rare to get such outstanding service from start to finish. This experience I just had with Best Buy was absolutely the best. I am now a forever customer and fan. Thank you Spencer, Nathan, Cameron and Don!
