Staff was kinda dismissive and rude. Cool they buy books, but youre not going to get more than 10% of their actual value. Plus side is you dont have to sell them yourself.

Good selection of science books and sometimes a few good classic software engineering books.They also have a large TV/Movie section with Blu-ray.This is currently my favorite book/movie store.

I went in for a last minute *commitment ceremony gift* on Friday the Eleventh of June as they were actually closing ~ I was quite embarrassed since I thought they were open until 7:00 or 8:00 CST! Thanks to Theos INCREDIBLE help, I left very pleased with my quick decision [almost making a purchase I was less than confident about, because they were closing & I wanted to respect everyones timing with the ceremony being the next day]. THEO SHOULD DEFINITELY GET WHATEVER POSSIBLE RAISES whenever given the next opportunity :-)

It’s a little hit-and-miss on what you’ll find, but it’s a lovely store that is well organized and packs a lot into it. I was in the area for a long weekend and visited twice just to make sure I got everything I could possibly want. The employees are super friendly and helpful as well! Would go a 3rd (and probably more) time(s).

My favorite used book store ever! This place is amazing. Its packed with all kinds of books both new and used. They have a wide variety of genres that are arranged in a customer friendly layout. Aside from books you can get cool gifts, records, DVDs, CDs, toys, and calendars here. There really is something for everyone here. And the prices are pretty fair.Staff is super helpful and wonderful to work with. I have been coming for years. I like to come in and trade books and music. They always take my college textbooks too, which is really nice! I have never had a bad experience here its truly one of a kind.

Didnt go inside; was there with my son. Unfortunately he didnt find what he was looking for however he is a voracious reader. I will provide a better review with his future visits to other locations!!

I do like their selection of books. However, I have gone in numerous times with books to sell. This last time I went with 8 books to sell and they did not buy 1 (the books looked brand new and I do realize that many books lose their value, even though nonfiction books tend to sell- BUT these books were selling on Amazon), but they were okay with taking them off my hands. LOL. Uh, NO! I would rather put them in the little free libraries around town.I wont be going back!

Big store with a large variety of books. I frequented here years ago and stopped back by while I was in town.They still have some gems of used RPG books, mainly old AD&D content.

Good place for cheap books. I didnt find a particular book that I was looking for, but they have a LOT of books, and appear to have them well organized.I suggest you stop in & look around.

I walked into the store with no mask because I medically cannot wear one. I shopped for about 45 minutes when the cashier came up to me and told me I must wear a mask because it is company policy. When I explained that I cannot wear one and even offered to show my doctors note indicating so, he told me that didnt matter and it was company policy. This is the SECOND time I have had someone refuse my business thanks to my disability. I will never be back and hope that this company educates their staff on the rights of the disabled in the future. I consequently went to Barnes and Noble where they were educated and accommodating for my almost $700 purchase today.

I always have fun coming here and exploring. I love collecting field guides and I feel every time I come I find something new and interesting! They have a wide selection that is ever-changing, and staff has always been helpful and friendly. Prices can be a little wacky, with some things being overpriced (in my opinion, of course!), but nothing too terrible.

Great deals on books, huge variety, excellent organization on the shelves so its easy to find what you need, and friendly customer service at the counter. My husband and I have had fun exploring this book store on a casual afternoon or even on date nights, and we love coming home with new finds each time we visit.

Lots of gems at this place, and not just books. I always check their comics, board games, and clearance movies. If you are looking for a specific book, you may have to order it in, but its a great place to browse for gifts or discover something new. The video game section is kinda weak, but the movie section is great. Nice staff, not too pushy. Dont expect them to give you market value for stuff, but if you want to get rid of stuff without messing with eBay or a garage sale, you might as well get a few bucks for it

Helpful staff who were willing to look up books on my list and allow me to be able to get my hands on them. As a company called price is nice because you can get the books you want without completely breaking the bank. I will warn you that you can lose a lot if times walking around to investigate what they have in stock.

Went vinyl hunting. I got into it not for authenticity or analog, but for recordings that simply arent being pressed anymore. Im always able to find one or two survivors if i spend the time to sift through, but I guess thats part of the experience.When Ive sold books here, they were very clear is the whys of their pricing, and they seemed fair. Sure, you could make more money if you sold them yourself, but then youd have to take the time, effort, & energy all while hoping that someone trusted your far-smaller sales record online that they have.

Got 5 books here for my classroom for less than $30. All are in spectacular like new condition. I think its a steal! The customer service is also great. I kind of forgot about this place for a while but Im glad I remembered it today!

I usually just go for records and have never had a bad experience. The record selection can be great gems. They have a multitude of books for practically every taste. The movie selections and games are usually good with a few exceptions on their pricing. For most items you can get a great deal. Other things they seem to price it over fair market value. But in the end I can usually get a better deal by haggling a bit. Ive received a few 10% off deals from the store manager after bringing up a fair price on my phone.

I always end up spending more than Id planned here but the deals are amazing! And the people who work there are very friendly and helpful.

We dont have a Half Price Books back home in Georgia, so we always visit this location when were up. We always find great deals on books, and our kids love it because they have DVDs, comics, and music aside from the books. The staff is always helpful and friendly!

Okay selection of books, but not what I was expecting before visiting. My husband was able to find a couple of books he had wanted and I enjoyed their journal selection. Some books were more expensive that I would have expected, though.

Clean and well organized store.

Half Price Books is the best place to find cheap books. We got some great books in the clearance section, they also had a great selection of science books. The cashier who checked us out was incredibly friendly and gave us a free calendar with coupons for almost all of 2018. He also made a couple small jokes that made us feel good about shopping there.

I love this place, for a used book place the prices are fair and the selection is very good. Just a fun place to stop and browse and I always find something but I am a book lover. You can sell books and movies here but you wont make any money/in store credit. Just something you have to accept to help clean out your house. Great place and theyll see me again and again.

I was giving all my books to Goodwill until I found this place. I love that I can trade in my old books. I worked at Goodwill for a while so I know that 90% of the books donated go into the trash (not the recycling). So finding this place has made me feel a lot better about giving up what I call my treasures. What they cant sell they recycle!
