Delicious! So creative, too. I got the Exhausted Parent 😂 which was bourbon-spiked espresso ice cream with bittersweet chocolate chunks. My husband got Zoreo which was Zanzibar Chocolate with Oreo. They have windows and doors open, keep a maximum person limit within the indoor space which they strictly enforce, and have a spaced out patio in the back to enjoy your ice cream. Easy to get parking in the back.

The chocolate shoppe consistently has a diverse selection of ice cream and rotates flavors on a fairly regular basis. I hope to come back in the future and have another taste of the Haleys Comet flavor. The Atwood location has a spacious indoor area with seating and extra seating is available outside through their backdoor.

We were traveling across the country and stopped in Madison to look around because we had heard good things. While there we had some delicious ice cream at one of the Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co. locations where there was an outdoor seating area behind the shop adjacent to a bicycle path and a community garden. It was beautiful! As I said before, the ice cream was delicious and I highly recommend it even if you dont stay at the shop to eat it.

Sunday, Fourth of July, 2021. Amazing ice cream served with a smile. Fun shop, located inside one of Madisons trendy neighborhoods by the lake. Excellent patio seating. Also right on the city bike trail. So many incredible flavors!

If you can get over the apathetic moody teenagers who seem unhappy to be at work, the ice cream is still what you would expect and there is a large tranquil backyard sitting area near a giant unruly garden vista to enjoy it.

Good array of ice cream flavors. Singles or doubles in cones or cups. The chocolate was very chocolate, therefore good. Kids like Blue Moon: its like the milk in the bottom of the bowl of Fruit Loops. Much too sweet for me.

I have been there twice and really enjoy this spot. The back yard patio is really well finished and even has a little free library. The ice cream cake I purchased seemed a bit overpriced, but the person for whom I bought it really enjoyed it.

Not what I thought.. was expecting a chocolate shop. But it was icecream. Let me tell you.. this icecream is the beat I have had.... so many flavors.. house made waffle cones. You must stop in and enjoy some!!!

I love chocolate shoppe, to say the least. Me and my family visit regularly throughout the entire summer. There are so many different flavors to choose from. I give it a ten out of ten, best ice cream ever.

Ice cream is great (dont get sticks and stones, the pretzels are soggy and pretty nasty), faves are turtle, raspberry lemon Italian ice, ultimate oreo. the patio is nice except for the astroturf which kinda ruins the vibe

My son has an allergy to nuts. Ice cream shops are very risky for that reason. We have gone into ice cream shops and left because they werent willing to be extra cautious. This shop was incredibly accommodating and kind to him. They were able to scoop some vanilla from a brand new tub in the back after changing gloves and a clean scoop. The ice cream was delicious, it is right on the bike path with outdoor seating. Perfect spot! Thank you!

Came in opening day and got some free ice cream! Staff was super friendly. Birthday cake ice cream and heaps of love flavors both super good. The outdoor seating area outside was great although there were a few bees.

Oh my goodness, best ice cream in Wisconsin. Its so creamy and gooey and rich and delicious!! Im glad they accept cards here too. I had a plain vanilla and it was still absolutely amazing. They also have a really cool tablet register. Its a great place to visit and get helmet sticker rewards too!

Best local ice cream! I love that there are vegan and milk free options here too. My favorite is the mixed Italian ice. They have things for everyone here. Its nice little ice cream stand on Atwood! Prices are fair and they give you very large scoops. You get your moneys worth.

The flavors change regularly and there is a wide variety of tasty ice cream options. The servers are friendly and positive. There is a nice little sitting area in back. Dog friendly! They serve a doggy Sunday topped with treats. Thumbs and paws way up!

During a visit to Madison, I tried their Zanzibar Chocolate and the Kitty Kitty Bang Bang flavors. The chocolate ice cream was hands down the best ice cream I have ever had. The combination with the vanilla raspberry flavor was simply amazing. The only complaint I had was that the plastic spoon was too pliable for eating ice cream.

Good ice cream. Rushed service at the window. Top shelf ice cream deserves top shelf service. Outdoor seating area could use some shade. One or two of those triangle shaped canopies in bright colors would complement the white building nicely.

This was very good! We went there twice in 3 days while visiting friends in Madison. They also offer a discount for people with the bicycling sticker (I forgot the name but pretty sure the locals know what Im talking about).

I was able to order ice cream. I got a fudgy malt flavor for the first time and it was good. The service was fast and there was space to enjoy the ice cream right behind the shop. Also, they cheered on my friend as he chugged a bottle of Gatorade.

Amazing Ice Cream here, so creamy and the right texture when served. Not too hard like its been put on deep freeze but not soft like soft serve. The different flavors they offer all looked amazing and the 2 we had tasted amazing

We live close to the Atwood location. Such a fun place to walk to in the summer andeet up with neighbors. Some evenings a few food carts are on-site making dinner and dessert quick and fun. This location also seems to offer flavors I havent seen at other CS stores like the carrot mango Italian ice.

Really great ice cream, awesome location. Walk along the bike path and take in the sights of the lush community gardens nearby while enjoying one of the many delicious and rich flavors. Anything with a salted caramel ice cream base is amazing.

This is just window service ice cream for pedestrians - you cant go inside. It is just a few steps away from the bike path. There is a small outdoor seating area in back. Many flavors to choose from. The ice cream is excellent.
