Amazing soft serve ice cream that hasn’t changed since I grew up. My grandmother knew John Carvellas from Weatchester, NY and told me fond stories when I was a child. The owners of this franchise are warm and friendly! They will custom make any cake you want! Awesome place!

Total disappointment. I have been a long time customer of Carvel going back 40 years in NY. We just moved to N.J. and I was so happy to have a Carvel I. Madison NJ. I ordered an Icecream cake for 12 people. It said it serves 14 to 18. When we opened it up, everyone laughed. It was $35!!!! Look at the pic (hopefully I can upload it). Stay away from this place. Total rip off. (It was 1 inch thick. ) it served 12. Everyone had a tiny piece. Total joke.

Best ice cream place in NJ!

Had a coupon to buy 1 flying saucer and 2nd at half price. She wanted to charge me 12.98 for 1 and 7.50 for the second one. We said NO THANK YOU and left.

Stingy with the ice cream and toppings compared to other Carvels. Didnt use the plastic drip/sprinkle catcher on my cone like other places.
