I got a remote start for my wife for Christmas a few years ago and she still loves it. It stopped working a few weeks ago and I thought I would have to bring it in. For me there are two (2) issues with any job.... does it work (function) and what does it look like (appearance).Jason at AMS is a master craftsman who takes pride in his work. He gets the job done AND it also looks good! I have taken four retrofit jobs to him and always had a good outcome.

It has been 22 years since I last reached out to AMS for car audio assistance. I have installed a number of my own car stereo systems along the way since then. However, with my latest vehicle, with integrated steering wheel controls, I didnt have the time or the patience to do the install myself so I once again reached out to AMS in Madison. Paul was more than patient with helping me choose components and making suggestions along the way. Once the components were finalized, Zac did an impeccable job with the installation. Wires were tight and clean, extra care was taken to make sure everything fit perfectly. He has also been very helpful tuning and answering questions post install. Fantastic work overall, above and beyond what I could have accomplished myself.

I wanted an Alpine TV/DVD player installed in our van, and they did a fabulous job. I would definitely recommend them, and Ill be going back the next time I need something like this installed. They explained the plan for the TV beforehand, and afterwards they showed me how it was set up, and it was just like I wanted.

Not knowing anything about audio and not enjoying the sound in my 2020 Jeep Wrangler I wen to AMS in Madison. I was greeted by Kevin and went through a range of ideas methodically. He took me out to an installation in progress on another Jeep Wrangler and talked about options for amplification and speakers. We talked about utilizing my existing radio and using an interface to connect the radio to the amplifier and different speakers. I asked about the specifically made sub-woofers for Jeep Wranglers and he said they a good and can order those. When I left and listened to my radio on the way home I made my mind up. I cannot have such a nice vehicle without great sound I just had to make the call back. I asked Kevin if he could also replace the overhead speaker in the rear and order sub-woofers for both sides. I asked if there was a way to fit into a price I could manage. He called back and said yes and I had him order the sub-woofer boxes. When I went to the first installation everything was completed and wires ran for the su-woofers. I would have to come back because of a back order of the sub-woofers and I was fine with that. What amazed me is the workmanship from the technician Zac. He had to remove my whole dash to install speaker boxes and interface. I couldnt tell anything had been done until the radio was turned on. What a sound and from there it would get better? After my second trip the sub-woofers were installed and all the way home I just smiled. It isnt about volume its about quality of sound and even with my Jeep top off the quality is outstanding. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate Kevin and Zac for their professionalism and knowledge. If you have a Jeep Wrangler or any vehicle dont suffer through bad sound. Went in for a subwoofer for my bf150. As expected AMS got me exactly what I wanted and Kevin took the time to set the sub up in my vehicle. I had a new head unit, backup camera, and dashboard camera install in my Porsche 911. The install looks fantastic. What I was most impressed by was their dedication to making me happy. When I picked up the car, there was this annoying high pitched sound. I told Jeff about the issue, which he diagnosed as the stock amplifier. He spent several hours troubleshooting for free to diagnose a part that I didnt purchase from AMS, and he was able to eliminate the issue completely by coming up with some creative wiring.

I went in yesterday to replace what I thought were blown speakers. The person that came out and looked at my car showed me that my speakers were fine and just adjusted my stereo so that everything sounds fine. 10/10 very honest and good natured.

I have owned many vehicles over the years, but never changed out the stereo system in any of them. My stock radio broke in my 6 year old Jeep and AMS was recommended by a car guy I know. I could not be more pleased. Paul was outstanding walking me through the options and process and Zac did a flawless job installing and explaining everything. I would highly recommend AMS to anyone, whether its a basic install or putting in a huge system.

AMS has been there for me about 10 years now. They helped me start a home theater in my first home, and then recently after moving, I knew I had to work with them. They came through once again. For any home theater, networking or smart home needs, Russ and Tyler (who I met those 10 years ago) are extremely knowledgeable, kind, flexible and great guys. If theres a problem, theyll diagnose and fix it. If there is something new and interesting, theyll let you know. The best part is the friendly and quick response. They may be booked out sometimes if you dont have a flexible schedule, but waiting for them to help you out (design, install, recommendations, networking, smart home etc) is worth it. I have never felt pressure about working with them.

Went in wanting to replace a speaker and left with much more than that. Great advice and service. We had an automatic starter and new bluetooth radio installed in our teenagers car. AMS helped us choose the right systems for both and at a good price. I feel better knowing that the car is warm, the teen isnt messing with her phone while driving, and that she can lock it from far away (even from inside the school if she forgets!)

Have beer using AMS since the 90s. The service is just as excellent today as it was when they opened their store. Over the years they expanded to home theater systems. They stand behind their work, and will make it right to your satisfaction.

They did a professional job on my remote start install for my Ford Escape. I needed to get some work done while they were working on my car so they went out of their way to drive me to a nearby coffee shop and then picked me up afterwards. The install was even faster than I thought it was going to be. Great service. Definitely recommend AMS 100%.

I have a done a few projects over the years with AMS and every time my experience has been top notch. They are knowledgeable, straight forward, and they do excellent work.

The entire crew at AMS is superb. There are very few people anywhere who have the knowledge and car audio installation experience that Paul has. Period! I have had multiple systems installed over 20 years and never experienced anything other than perfection. IMO, I suspect the individual who complained about their experience must have tried to cut corners. JL Audio does not make weak gear. AMS cares immensely about their customers experiences.

These guys are the absolute best. They have great products, and their staff are incredible. This is the only place you should consider when buying a car stereo.

Purchased a new 2018 Ford F150. The stock sound system was pretty disappointing. Picked up the truck on a Saturday and went to AMS the following Monday. Paul helped me select equipment and Jeff did the installation. Went with all JL Audio speakers including a Stealth Box and amp. Dynamat on all four doors.I was hesitant to have a brand new truck worked on but when I picked it up, all was good. The installation was excellent! Clean and professional. Sound is amazing!People that get to experience it just say WOW!Couldnt be happier. Thanks for the top notch system.

When I told the manager, Paul, I was given a well-rehearsed speech. He refused to refund me, suggested I spend more money, and cited numerous reasons why the product didn’t sound good. I was ripped off worse than I ever thought possible. Beware.
