Service Department is the best I have seen. Very professional and friendly. Aim to please. I have been very satisfied dealing with Anton. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. If there is something he does not know, he will find out the answer and communicate that to me. I rate this dealership 5 stars.
Fields Jaguar Madison was my sixth dealership in two days. Brandon at Fields let me test drive a Jaguar and a Range Rover Velar, allowing me to get a feel for the cars without a heavy sales pitch. I purchased a Jaguar F-Pace. It had all the features I was looking for, plus a smooth ride and attractive styling. With the low inventory all dealerships are experiencing I was thrilled to find a car that met or exceeded all of my expectations. Brandon was great to work with.
Best car buying experience ever!!! Everyone at the dealership will go out of their way to both welcome you and help you find your perfect vehicle. I am disappointed with the sales team at this place. Walked in to the show room to test drive the F Pace and the team is very un responsive and made me wait for ever to attend me even though there were absolutely. no customers I could notice there and I had to trace the manager to get the sales guy to attend me and after test drive again I had to wait for ever to return the key. After he taking the key from me he never reached me out again and asked me if I have interest in buying a vehicle. Looks like they attend customers based on profile and race.I am finally getting my F Pace from Jaguar Schaumburg.
My appointment went smoothly at the assigned time. Service team was knowledgeable and friendly. The waiting area was clean and brightly lit. I wish there were plug in spots for my laptop. I wish it didnt take over two weeks to get a simple oil change.

I am always thrilled with the staff at Fields and with Chris Pearson specifically. This is a very low pressure buying experience with their focus being on ensuring you get what you want. When my newest purchase had a minor coolant leak they hopped on it immediately and bent over backwards to get me a loaner even when the service department was closed. Great team.
Volvo Madison representatives were very attentive and kept us updated on our status of our vehicle. The amenities were superb, we have never seen a Volvo facility with bowling lanes, and with a friendly staff overall. Every concerned we had was answered on the spot or they came back with an answer shortly after. Will definitely stop by next vehicle maintenance.

Chris in service was willing to rent me a car because loaner wasnt available. A loaner did come and I was off. When I returned my car was cleaned and the cleanest it had been since I purchased it. I have enjoyed my service through Fields Volvo.
A friend purchased a used Lexus from the dealership 7 months ago. I purchased a used car from them recently and had the same great experience he had on his purchase.The atmosphere was welcoming and low pressure. My sales rep Linda did a great job. I was able to take the vehicle home overnight so my wife could also drive it. Bob Larsen, the sales manager, and John in Finance were very easy to work with.I knew the model and year of what I was looking for and was glad that Fields had it and I could work with them. They made the purchase a pleasant experience.
Before when Mic worked there every service appointment went by smoothly. The communication and service were great. It doesnt seem to be like that anymore. It is hard to get in contact with the service department, even after leaving a voicemail. They simply dont call you back. The last time I went in I asked if a car wash was possible and was reassured that they would take care of it. After waiting about an hour and forty minutes for an oil change (which they said would take an hour max, I even came in early), I went out and noticed the car wasnt washed. Its not a big deal, but they acted like it was easy to do. If they couldnt do it they should have said something. There was another time when I went in and they didnt communicate with me that they would be holding onto my car for another day, until I called in. It was a surprise and I had to figure out how to get to work the next day since they didnt have a loaner car.
Very unsatisfied with the customer service & reliability of the dealership. I’ve taken my car there 3 + times only to have a reoccurring issue thousands of dollars later. I’ve spoke to the service manager as well the general manager and I was even more unimpressed the further I looked into resolving the issue. The cars are visually appealing and the accommodations of the vehicles are nice as well, but the next time you’re looking into getting a Jaguar, you might as well buy two, because one will always be in the shop while you’re driving the other. Definitely would not recommend the brand or the dealership. Save yourself the despair.
Update: 8 Months with my car, while the sales team continually impresses me, I am not so satisfied with the service department. I dont get responses on time, have had to make multiple visits.Mike and Bob have been super helpful in helping me find the right car at the right time. Their level of interest and excitement was at par with my excitement. Experience of delivery was also smooth and everything was ready before I even reached the dealership to get my car.

My visit to Fields was a wonderful experience and was topped off by the fantastic help I had. I would recommend Mike Baldwin anyone who is looking to purchase a Land/Range Rover. Not only did Mike help with my many visits, phone calls and questions, he was able to help me find the perfect Evoque. He explained the different models and features that you could get with each. I bought a 2010 Mercedes ML from them two months ago. The people who I talked to are Mike and Bob. Both are fantastic people. This is the first time I actually write a review for anyone online and I will definitely recommend them. In fact, I will come back this summer to buy another car from them. They are professional and polite, know what they are doing and are HONEST. I waited two months, drove the car around and experienced it before I actually write this review because I dont trust car dealers. But they are really good.
I took my car into the service department to have my muffler replaced, and received outstanding service! Everyone here was extremely friendly and helpful. The manager, Craig, was very professional and friendly, and he helped keep me informed with the progress of my vehicle while it was being repaired. The staff ensured that my car was well taken care of, and they did a great job! I will highly recommend Fields to others, and will continue to be a customer.
My service manager, Sarah, took great care of me; work was done quickly and on time. In addition the dealer went out of their way to accommodate extra requests I made upon arrival. I might add I have had my F- Type R for nearly a year and have had not even one problem.

This office needs training in customer engagement, and dressing professionally.The staff was rude, and I get the idea that they forget they sell cars and don’t own them.Brandon Barr was good to work with.The tank was empty when I drove away from the lot. Obviously no attention to detail.Wouldn’t recommend nor shop here again.

Rick was pretty spectacular! Very friendly and completely willing to show us all the vehicles that caught our eye. One of the things I prefer about a couple other dealerships is the extended (over night) test drive that they offer to get a feel for going through your day in the vehicle but that seems like an extra and not a basic aminity so I dont hold it against them. The service was fantastic and their wide and comprehensive variety of snacks and beverages (see ice cream) makes you feel they appreciate and try to look out for the customers needs.

My S-Type had the heat go out on the drivers side. I took it into Fields Jaguar and Jason was a big help in getting the car repaired. He told what exactly needed to be done, and possible options if that wasnt problem they diagnosed. It was done in a timely fashion and I have heat again, so no cold winter for my, now I can enjoy my Jaguar on the cold winter mornings thanks to Jason and Fields Jaguar.

Which is great... except that i dont live in Madison. In fact, I dont live in Wisconsin. I live in California. My profile shows that ive never lived anywhere near Wisconsin; closest I got was Missouri as a child. So... why add me to your circles if I dont live in your service areas? It just doesnt make sense.In the future, you may want to ensure that the people you are trying to market to are actually local to you.

Staffs in this department are very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to Service advisor Mr. Mick Desmond spend the time to explain the problem of my car and how to fix it. He is very nice man and concern about customers. One day my car stopped in a high way. The car was towed to Field Volvo. Mick immediately took time to check the problems(the alternator dead) and found parts to resolved the issues with my car. So my car runs again right way.I also thanks to Service Mr. Craig Hoffman. He is very good manager for this department. He take care this department to make customers depend on it. One day I had a problem that I found the power steering fluid low. I drove to the Field Volvo immediately. Even though I did not have an schedule with Field Volvo Madison, Mr.Craig Hoffman accept this case. He immediately arrange time and technician to fix it( replace tank and hose steering) right away.It is hard to find good service you can rely on. So I give Field Volvo Madison NUMBER ONE. I will be recommending it to my friends .Thanks again.
Found Fields Jaguar to be very fair in their customer service. I was unfortunately involved with an unusual situation with a loaner car and some dispute about damage...they were more than fair in resolving the situation and it was resolved far better than I had ever expected. I bought my Jaguar here and I continue to go back for service. Ive had nothing but great experiences and customer service. Youre constantly given updates on the status of your vehicle while youre waiting, and thats something I learned is pretty hard to come by with other service departments. The staff is friendly and they take the time to explain the repairs and cost, cutting out a lot of the stuff that you deal with at other repair shops. I actually live near Milwaukee, but Ill often drive my car an hour back to Madison just so I can take it here. They appreciate repeat customers and go out of their way to make sure you leave satisfied.
Realistically helpful and caring staff, their loaner cars are clean and available, knowledgeable and thorough technicians, service desk Jason is a guy to-go-to!
My 2005, low-mileage, regularly-serviced Volvo, suddenly suffered from a severe mechanical problem. I cant thank Fields Volvo employees, Service Manager Craig and Mick, enough for their help in working with corporate Volvo in securing financial assistance and repairing my Volvo. As it happens, immediately after my Volvo was towed to Fields and the mechanical problem diagnosed, I left town. Mick was exemplary in communicating via email, explaining the options and process. I highly recommend Fields Service Department and will return to Field Service Department for future regularly scheduled maintenance.
I ordered a new 2018 F-PACE 35T R-Sport in March of this year & worked with both Bob Larson & Sales Manager Mike Baldwin. I feel a though I was given a fair deal, considering that this new model is very much in demand - it has outsold all other Jaguar models combined (last year).There were some delivery delays/issues,.. it was fairly frustrating, but I felt as though both Bob & Mike were concerned & doing everything within their power to make sure I got my new car as soon as possible.Fast forward to July 7th...I got it. I LOVE it. Both Mike & Bob have followed up with me to make sure that my new car is everything I wanted (it is, and more).Since Bob was at the LR Velar release event when it came time for the handover, I have to also give a shout out to Chris, who did an excellent job of running through every bell & whistle with me.How a dealership handles a potentially customer satisfaction-destroying situation speaks volumes about them & how much they care about doing right by their customers. Good on you, Fields.

I brought my vehicle in because it was having difficulties starting after a hot soak. I was told by Mick at Fields that he guaranteed the replacement of a part for $2,500 would fix the issue. The $2,500 part didnt fix the starter issue with my vehicle. After bringing it in three more times and leaving the car with them for a month at a time they couldnt get to the bottom of the issue. In the end they told me there was nothing I could do about it. The problem is still the same and Im out $2,500.To add insult to injury they replaced the wrong wheel-bearing. After they replaced the right wheel-bearing I was still experiencing heavy amounts of road noise. They told me to change the tires. I changed the tires and the noise was still there. I took it to another shop and it was the other wheel-bearing. I dont trust this place and they didnt make me a happy customer.

While my visits to Fields are rare (very good thing) when I do take my S40 in to have work done, I find the service professional, quick, and they fix the problem. I have been helped by Jason my last two visits and know I am in good hands with his help. The S40 is purring like kitten, so hopefully I wont be back anytime soon :), but if I do find myself at Fields, I will call Jason first.
I am always impressed with the service department, I came for a carwash and Jason was quick to help and took the initiative to fix my license plate that had been broken. I just wanted to say thanks and that I appreciate Jasons outstanding customer service upon all my visits to Fields.
I recently brought my 2002 Volvo XC70 to Fields Volvo to get a power steering leak fixed. They gave us a 2015 Volvo V60 loaner car to drive for the day while my car was being serviced. After investigating the cause of the leak our service advisor Jason Friedel called to explain what needed to be done. They ended up replacing the power steering hose and reservoir, and they also did a power steering flush.The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and I was impressed with the showroom and waiting area which included comfortable chairs, ice cream, coffee, juice, and some other refreshments. This was my first time at Fields Volvo, and I will definitely come back in the future to get other maintenance and repairs taken care of.
I recently had my 09 Range Rover sport in for service. Jason Friedel was my service advisor. Im not one to write reviews but the level of customer service that received was second to none! From the first phone call that I made to set the appt. Jason was kind and genuinely concerned about what was going on with my truck. He was able to work around my busy schedule and get me in quick. He also offered me a loaner vehicle, which took me by surprise because usually its like pulling teeth to get one.When I pulled into the dealership for my service apt I saw Jason jogging back in from the cold. He personally went out and started the loaner vehicle so it would be warm for me when I got in it. I was blown away! I will ask for him by name whenever I need service done.
Thanks to Steve Vogel in sales, for making this the most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had. What a difference compared to other dealerships. My experience at Fields was AWFUL. I went there to purchase a car I found on Cargurus. I went there and test drove the car and decided I wanted it. I liked the online price and didnt try to haggle it at all. When I sat down to do paperwork they said the car was 1,500 more than advertised. When I told them that wasnt the advertised price thats when my experience started to turn south. I had to show them their listing on Cargurus in order to get the price. During this time I was asked by 3 different employees multiple times if I wanted to finance through another bank and they could get me a better rate. I was happy with the preapproval from my bank. Come to find out for some reason they couldnt give me the rate that I had on my pre approval and the rate that was on my paperwork was .5% more than my preapproval letter from my bank. After finishing up with the salesman he tells me they wont have a finance manager in for the next few days and I would have to wait until he was in to be able to take possession of the car. You mean to tell me you are a car dealership but cant physically sell a car for 3 days? What a joke. I would never step foot on a Fields dealership for the rest of my life. I will drive up to Bergstrom Jaguar in Appleton 2 hours away when I go to purchase a Jaguar F-Pace next year instead of Fields which is 20 minutes from my house.
The autos are nice and people are friendly as usual, but the new place is horrible! Quiet. Dull. Slow. Sterile. Its like a morgue for cars.
Id like to say that my review speaks to a single, but very disappointing experience that I personally had. I believe that the many positive reviews received by this dealership are likely every bit as valid as my own review. I very much appreciate that Mike took the time to follow-up with me, and that General Manager Sharon Klietsch has also posted an apology and offered a conversation. These responses have led me to reconsider my original review. There are few things that impress me more than someone willing post their full names and invite a conversation that might be hostile or adversarial, in hopes of reducing animosity and disappointment.Last week I was contacted by Mike who apologized and took some time to explain how circumstances at the dealership led to the unfortunate experience Ive described in my previous review. He recalled speaking with me when I first contacted Fields about the Suburban, and he knew Id spoken with Brandon and that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle. It boils down to timing, with the Suburban being returned from being serviced at a Chevy dealership on Brandons day off. An interested buyer was there the time and the deal was closed.I explained that while I appreciated his explanation and apology, I still felt like they had dropped the ball, because Brandon had told me that I would be called as soon as the vehicle was available to test drive, Monday or Tuesday, but never a mention that he would be off, and no arrangement made for a colleague to honor that commitment.Mike and the other people at this dealership are very pleasant to speak with, they seem to be sincere, reasonable and well-intended. Mike offered to use their large network of dealerships to help me find a suitable vehicle in place of the one I had missed. I declined because Id been searching regionally for almost a year with very narrow specifications, and the Suburban they had was one of the very few that met our wishes. That was still a thoughtful gesture, and not one that every dealership would have made. I called on Sat June 9th about a newly arrived tradein, a 2011 Suburban. I initially spoke with Mike, who was polite and helpful, and handed me off to Brandon who would return my call. I received the call back, and discussing details I asked if I could test drive that day. Brandon said no, because it had not passed safety checks or detailing. I told him it was the exact vehicle I wanted, and that Id like to come out as soon as it was available. He said it would be Monday or Tuesday and he would call me. No call back, so I called late Tuesday and Brandon was off, but I left him a voicemail asking for a call as early as possible on Wednesday. At 4 pm Wednesday I called again, and Brandon told me that they had sold the Suburban.I hope the person who bought the truck did their homework. Id checked the Carfax report, called the service center where the previous owner had done their maintenance, and found theres $4200.00 in deferred maintenance waiting to be done. I was ready to buy it in that condition, but not everyone would be.Brandon, Mike and the lady who answers the phones all seemed very nice and helpful. Its a real mystery how what seemed to be a straightforward business transaction fell prey to some sort of internal confusion or miscommunication at JM. Id actually told Brandon I was looking forward to dealing with JM because I was led to believe they conducted their business with a high level of integrity and honesty. I do realize that selling tradeins of makes other than Jaguar and Land Rover is not their core business, but Id hoped that their ethics and approach would be consistent. This is my only experience with this dealership, but Im disappointed and I cant recommend JM because they failed to honor the process they had laid out for this transaction. There are lots of places to buy vehicles.
I was traveling via Wisconsin Madison with my brand new jaguar F pace from quad cities. I took the car for a car wash here because of all the insects I caught up on the way. The dealership refused to wash even if I was ready to pay. Me and my friends who own a jaguars never had such experience at any other dealership be it elmhurst chicago, Hoffmans chicago or Peoria. Well I was with a friend from Madison who didnt own a jaguar. You guys left great impression on him for being the most rude dealership.. lol.. Walked in with a friend to look at a Land Rover. Apparently, all of the salespeople had better things to be doing than to sell a car. Numerous times we were given excuses, so we left and he bought elsewhere.
I am discouraged with the service department. I called the Madison store left a voice mail & received no answer. I then called the Waukesha store and I am Sad to say I havent heard from them either. I am now taking my Jaguar to a outside shop. They answered the phone & arranged towing for me.

I bought my first volvo sept 27th 2002 I took the car to fields in 2013 to have a new timing & serpentine belt replaced!Jason was my service advisor! car was done by noon same day along with being washed!This S60 runs like it did when first drove off lot in 2002! So this December we began looking to replace my wifes Honda of 16years!She has been a honda owner since 1988!We drove a Honda CRZ she wasnt impressed with! So Dec 31st we had a appointment with Chris to drive a C30 that was on the showroom floor car was ready to go when we arrived!She loved it great visibililty along with Volvo Solidity! She was ready to buy after test drive!We handed a check to Chris 5 minutes later we had a deal!This past Monday !/12/15 we brought the car in for options ordered By Avery and seen to that between him and Jason were installed correctly! A very happy customer!Also given a new XC70 to drive while service was performed!We are Field Believers!Thank You Dave & Maureen

Update:Ive increased my rating from 1 star to 3 based on some recent service Ive had at Fields. My Land Rover was experiencing some electrical issues (a mysterious battery drain) that no one else could figure out. It seems theyve been able to solve the problem and my experience with their service staff was an improvement over my prior experience. Their prices are still too high (higher than my normal mechanic which is a small family owned business) so I wont go so far as to give them 4 stars but my last experience was definitely an improvement.Original review:I didnt buy my Land Rover from Fields but Ive taken it there for service. Theyre nice enough people but the service representatives are very disorganized and dont remember anything about your situation from past visits. It seems like they either dont take any notes or just dont read or share them which makes for very poor communication with their customers. They also seem to avoid your calls and send you to voicemail -- when you do leave a message, they just dont return your call. Theyre the only Land Rover dealer in Madison so options are limited but I will be taking my truck elsewhere in the future.
They didnt service the car the right way and wouldnt return my call. I will not buy my new jaguar from this place!
