Furniture Row never fails to impress with the quality of their furniture, and the quality of their customer service. My husband and I just bought a full set of living-room furniture (couches and entertainment center) with the assistance of their sales rep, Tina. Tina was wonderful to work with, and was so accommodating through every step of the process. If you’re looking for a great shopping experience, definitely ask for Tina, and ONLY shop at Furniture Row!

We have always liked the furniture that came from Furniture Row and the employees were usually nice and helpful. However, this last engagement has forced us to shop somewhere elsewhere for future furniture. We ordered an electronic reclining couch. We knew it was heavy and we stated multiple times that we loved on the third floor of an apartment with no elevator. The sales people (multiple persons where told) stated that we needed to pay for the whole setup ($120.00) which we where happy to pay for. The bed mattress we ordered and payed for delivery had no issue being delivered. When it came time for the couch the manager of the department called us the day before delivery was to be and stated they would need an extra $100 to “incentivize their employees to break company policy” to bring up the couch due to not having an elevator and third floor. We where a little disgruntled about it but ended up paying it. 5 hours later they called and stated that the head delivery person went to the apartment and looked inside and decided they couldn’t do it and that it was unsafe for their employees to bring the couch up. Ended up hauling it up with myself and my wife. Will not be going back for future furniture purchases.

I arrived before the store opened. A man saw me and walked over and unlocked the door. I asked about a waterbed draining package and he directed me to another area. The saleswoman assisted me and walked me to another salesman to ring me up. I am dazzled with their customer service! I would definitely recommend them!

The products we purchased were overall good. The customer service after our purchase was terrible. We had a bad delivery experience. Drivers showed up nearly 3 hours after they were scheduled to be here, and were here for well over two hours. They were supposed to be here between noon and 3:00, and came at 6:00. No call to let us know they were running late. We had dinner plans with friends that we had to cancel because we were stuck at home until 8:00 waiting for our furniture to be put together. They didn’t bring the right tools with them to put together the furniture, so they had to borrow my tools to do their job. They also unloaded the chairs first, which are upholstered and were not covered, and left them by the truck in the dirty street with cars flying by them for two hours while they put together our bed and table. We had a damaged chair, so I called to have it replaced. They ordered a new chair, but never called to tell me when it came in. Eventually, after 4 weeks, I called, and they said “Oh, ya, your chair has been here for a long time.” I had called and spoken to the manager about our delivery experience. When I spoke to her, she told me, “I’ll talk to the drivers, and we’ll do better next time.” Sorry, there won’t be a next time.

The worker was very helpful on setting up my sectional. We went to two other stores in grand forks and got no help and got told that we have to wait 12-14 weeks for delivery. Furniture row was about half the time and better quality. Thank u for your expert service furniture row.

It is always great to find a young man who knows the stock, tells you facts, has taste and is pleasant to be around. Terrell Wheeler is all of that! After walking the store I had questions about pieces, what he did not know he found out in minutes.This led to $1800.00 in sales by him, three different items! The outdoor furniture is superb. The glass window shelf unit is gorgeous. The coffee table-dinner nook is superb. Hire more like this salesman, top notch!

Highly disappointed in the service at Furnature Row. I ordered 4300.00 worth of furnature which they promised me would be delivered at the time of move in. Now they have delayed the furnature twice and are not sure when it will be coming. No compensation to the consumer that is frustrated. I will not buy here again.

Once my chair gets here, it is doubtful that I will purchase furniture from here ever again. Picked up my couch - after a 75 mile drive home, discovered they did not send the necessary cords for us to use both recliners - it took multiple calls, sending photos to the owner, and waiting 2 WEEKS to get the proper cord - another 75 miles ONE WAY for me to pick it up. My chair...this was supposed to be here in early March. I called the 3rd to check on the status and spoke to the owner who told me it was delayed till mid March (no one contacted me of the delay) but she assured me that I would be contacted if there was any change...today is the 15th. The couch is rarely used and the chair not yet here so cant comment on the quality, however, for me, customer service is KEY, and Furniture Row in GF is not raking up any points from me in this area. I am really worried if there are any mechanical issues as to what kind of service I will get... A LOT of $$ invested!

Update: We have gotten 2 chairs that were supposed to be gliders but ended up rocking chairs. Almost 4 months after the Initial purchase and still no resolution or contact made by the store. After calling them again 5/24/20 I was told they would look into replacing the mechanisms and asked if we could bring the chairs to the store (300 miles round trip). They said they would contact me by 5/28/20 with an update on what they can do to make them right.Initial review: Love the different styles and colors available. Sales people very helpful & knowledgeable - he was interested in helping but wasnt pushy. I will definitely return when I get to the point I need new furniture! Thank you for making this a successful, stress free experience!

We purchased our table and chairs in May, today is is July 17 and we still have not received the table that we paid for. We have a table but wrong base. We wanted a bar height table and chairs. Got the chairs but regular table. I have it on cinder blocks now so we can use it. To top it off, the tables is warped so everything rolls to the middle. They say when I have called, that the table is on backorder until September. This is after they told me August. All of this of course is after me calling to check on the status, I have never received a call from them on the matter. That is after I was told I would receive a call three times and that the regional manager was going to be involved. So, that is my experience but now I know their customer service sucks.

After arriving here I was greeted by Dylan. Mr. Darling listened intently as to what my girlfriends and mine likes and dislikes were and showed us suggestions as to what he thought we would like the best. This guy was amazing. Easy to talk to and he made that experience easy and enjoyable. My better half and I had a miscommunication (my fault haha) as to the orientation of our new sectional so after some measuring and reconfiguring we needed to purchase a piece a tad bit smaller than our original piece. Without hesitation or complaint, Dylan switched the deposit to the new piece and we were good to go. If you are like me when you plan on spending 2500 and dont want someone telling you what to buy, go see that man. He listens extremely well to what you have to say and will offer his recommendations based on your own individual taste. Highly recommend him. Because of him, we are also getting a new dining set. Had a sadly bad experience on multiple levels. 1) My buyer expectations and their sales capability were out of sync - I wanted a speedy transaction, sales wanted to take their time at checkout (sometimes OK but not that day). Purchase to pickup/delivery: Im having a remodel done at my house, furniture items are packed in other rooms of the house, etc. so I wanted delayed pickup/delivery, Furniture Row did not want to comply; everything seemingly became an issue. 2) Poor sales experience - Started nicely with a new salesperson but since she was new she deferred to another (floor manager??, not sure). This young man was initially on the ball with measurements, etc. Then...I noticed a scratch and was told that since the floor model was the only available piece, he could discount without the warranty or leave as is with warranty. What???? It was a scratch, so make a customer acknowledges and accepts right side surface scratch which is exempt from warranty entry, not entire warranty!..but, whatever. (I am OK with scratch since item will go into sunporch and not a major household peice). What about delivery?, I asked (I live 50 miles away). I was told that the delivery can further damage the piece. WHAT??? So, the store, a FURNITURE STORE acknowledges that they have a poor delivery system and purfunctorily dismisses that as a general problem?! (No wonder I was the only customer at that time of day!--In fact, years ago I had a bedroom suite and 2 mattresses delivered from FR, at that time a free set of sheets was part of the purchase...before the deliverymen left, I asked about the sheets--they werent otherwise going to give them to me apparently, the sheet set was incomplete and of the wrong size, but, hey, it was free--or so the company line must be). 3) I was incorrectly charged on my credit card (they had overcharged by around $35 and they caught the mistake as EOD procedure; that was good). I was called that evening so Furniture Row could balance but they wanted my credit card number to issue the credit! Again, I live 50 miles away and, no, Im not going to spew my credit card number, On the phone, After hours, To a (relative) stranger. I get: a) the inventory issues to assure turn and carrying costs and on the shelf vs. sales merchandise, b) that some sales people/managers will be immature and come across awkwardly, c) that point of sale mistakes/entries will happen, but the store could certainly be more professional about training their employees, about accommodating customers needs and expectations and could learn how to adjust their systems and practices to match the way customers want to be treated. After spending now about $6000-$8000 over 5 years, I dont think Ill ever shop Furniture Row again. I do hope they will make necessary changes in the future because they do have some nice floor items.

So far, not pleased with the Grand Fork, ND customer service, gratitude and appreciation for the amount of money we spent there. Right after Thanksgiving, my wife and I custom ordered a sectional couch, along with a large recliner/rocker, ottoman and end tables (also, a new mattress at the same time). After 8 weeks, our furniture arrived and was delivered. Everything was brought in and set up except for the last, largest, section of the couch. When they went to get it off the truck, they snagged a corner of the garage and tore a big hole on the front side of the couch. They took it back to the store. We were looking forward to hosting a Superbowl Party for our family and many teacher friends (that we work with) this weekend.I guess I need to find more seating now. We now have to wait another 6-8 weeks for the new couch to be delivered. What have they offered me in return for my inconvenience? Nothing! I spoke with a manager after it happened and she said shed talk to the other managers to see what they could do for me. She called back today. They offered to bring the torn couch back to me until the other one arrived. Heres the real gratitude and appreciation......she said that they would deliver, bring the torn one back to me, for FREE. She said thats all they can do. Well, Ill be heading to the store tomorrow and have a face to face with them. Wish me luck! Maybe Ill just have to have them bring the couch back so everyone can see the big hole. If they dont get it back by this weekend, I guess its just more for the story. Could be a great conversation starter. Furniture Row, is this really the type of publicity you want? Hopefully, they work something out tomorrow so I can get back on here with a much higher rating and positive feedback for all of you.

My husband and I purchased 2 bed frames w/headboards and one mattress and box spring set within the last 45 days. One bed frame w/the mattress and box spring is working out very nicely, but the other is a completely different matter. We have an adjustable base mattress and were told when we purchased the bed that it would accommodate an adjustable base. When the delivery guys came to our home and put the bed together, they found that it didnt accommodate the adjustable base. I wasnt home or I would have instructed the delivery people to take the bed back with them. Because I wasnt home, instead of attempting to ask me what I wanted done or trying to find a solution to the obvious issue, the guys left the adjustable base on top of the platform bed which leaves it extremely high and thus very difficult to get into; it is so high I nearly have to pole vault into bed every night. On top of this issue, they stripped a couple screws so one of the bed legs is quite loose and they also scratched up one area of the bed pretty badly. I called the store the following day and told them the bed wasnt going to work for me and gave them the reasons why. I was asked to provide reasons and pictures (which I did), and was told that yes, I could return the bed and that it would be picked up the following Saturday. After confirming this through an automated text, I received a phone call that their truck had broken down and they wouldnt be able to pick up the bed. I understand; things happen--but in the middle of our phone call the call was abruptly cut off and no one has called me back. I have tried to call the store back twice today, and havent received an answer either time; not only did I not receive an answer I didnt receive an option to leave a message--I was simply cut off. Hello--what kind of business is this? How is this good customer service? Furniture Row used to be my go-to kind place to purchase furniture when I needed it, but not after this experience!!

Im always questioning the quality of the products that come from a store like this. Ive always heard mixed reviews that yes theyre good know they fall apart. My wife and I decided to purchase a small table for her craft room thats a higher table so you could have the option to stand that it or sit at it comfortably. When it arrived we thought nothing of it but when I open the package I had two black legs and two white legs. not the most ideal situation so I went back to the store were they offered me a couple solutions they can order a new one in and we could return this one or they could just give us some money off or back on this purchase. We chose not to wait and we just took the money back. I was very grateful that they were willing to help and had a solution in mind and how to correct the situation. Seems very willing to keep the sale and make sales which is somewhat concerning but at the same point not because I understand that at the end of the day they want you to have a product and they want to make the sale. Its as simple as that.

Very noticeable from the I29 entrance into Grand Forks from Fargo. You will see a gigantic chair and a long building. The entire building consists of a mattress section, furniture, and bedding. Really nice and spacious on the inside. Although its sometimes hard to find/ have an employee acknowledge you, the furniture is extremely nice. I purchased a bed set a few years back and we loved it.

I bought a dining room table in December for Black Friday deal. They ordered it, but somehow did not receive it until February. The table scratched even with a plate sliding across. I had two chairs ordered also and they were on back order. No one called to communicate this. Delivery men scratched my doorway as they cane in and the table. I finally resorted to covering the table myself with polyurethane. I will never shop at furniture Row again
