EDIT: Once I got the corporate office involved, the issue was promptly resolved. The one star review at this point is for this location, but I cannot speak to Slumberland as a whole.Do not buy furniture from this store. I returned a recliner on October 16 to their store and they claim they processed the refund on the same day. I spoke to someone who said 5-7 business days for a refund. IT didnt appear by EOD yesterday. Called today, now they claim 5-10, and that The refund it processed and theres nothing they can do. I have the receipt to prove that the refund was accepted from them. My credit card company has no record of an incoming refund.Hoping Slumberland corporate can resolve this. But avoid this West Side location at all costs if you arent 110% certain the piece of furniture will work for you, because they will not properly issue your refund.

Dan was kind and welcoming. He asked us several questions about what we were looking for in a new mattress although he and my wife had spoken on the phone where some information was already shared which helped. Dan suggested several mattresses to try in a variety of price points and types. He also was very thorough in sharing his knowledge of the manufacturing process and materials used. Dan did a great job and clearly understands great customer service! He is an asset to Slumberland!

We found the selection of bedding options at Steinhafels to be quite complete. We found Forest to be a very helpful and knowledgeable person who explained the different options thoroughly and answered all of our questions.He also worked with us to get us a fair price on the bed we purchased. We’ve purchased from slumberland a number of times and will continue to come back. We appreciate how helpful the sales people are, but they are not too pushy, and of course their price matching! All of our headboards and beds as well as mattresses have held up very well. The sales person was great at giving us some space to decide on what we wanted but available to give suggestions and answer questions. It was the perfect balance. Because let’s be honest there’s nothing worse than somebody who won’t even give you enough space to collect your own thoughts!

Billy & Forrest are absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!! They have gone Above & Beyond in regards to the customer service I have experienced with them. They are knowledgeable and take the time to explain things in detail so that I’m fully aware & understanding . Customer service was great. Salesman was attentive and helpful. The price for the quality could not have been better. Only drawback is the lead time for delivery, but that is not something they could control. I would recommend a visit to the Madison West store.

Sales person was good. However, don’t expect furniture anytime soon. Ordered May 20th and here it is Oct 20th with no timeline for one recliner. People have houses built faster than this.

Got a mattress here. They made it sound like we needed to decide urgently due to a shortage & long wait (“3-6 weeks”) but weren’t too high pressure about it. Ended up going with one of the cheaper options for mattress and frame.Picked it up and assembled the frame in 15 minutes. Super easy setup, instructions were good — it was basically a lego set!Impressed with the product and helpful salespeople.

Found a wonderful 8-900$ 8x11 rug in their bargain room to work in my living room for 100.$. Was not expecting to find such a decor pattern which I knew was the general design idea I had in mind when I saw it to match the colors in my living room. It works much better as a design idea with my furniture than the previous rug. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy but was just browsing and didn’t expect to find this right at that moment. But it works.

Stopped buy there and the sales rep said they didn’t have much. We told them we were buying some furniture and he walked away. The other two employees were talking about draft beer. No one bothered to help us and we had several items we would have bought. Not stopping here or referring to anyone again!

I paid in full for a beautiful bedroom set queen size bed, back in February early March it’s now almost July and I still haven’t received it!!! When I paid online it showed it was in stock!! I have called and messaged, they keep telling me it’s not in stock, (and i get it’s been a pandemic) but this is ridiculous!!!

We stopped in just to see what they had and found the same la-z-boy that we saw a day earlier at a different furniture store. They beat the competitor price by over $100, we just had to ask. Had a very pleasant experience with Dan the sales associate in the slumberland mattress department. He came over straight away to offer his assistance. He showed me all the different styles of mattresses and explained in detail what the difference was between each. He gave me plenty of time to test the mattresses out and advised me on what I should be looking for based on my sleep habits. I chose a tempurpedic adapt and I can’t wait for it to arrive.

I received a $50 off coupon while looking at the website. I was disappointed to find out that the item I went to look at in the store was not available in the store. The coupon terms also greatly limited its value on purchases. The chair I wanted, would take up to *6 months* for delivery. Why is Slumberland selling items that are not actually available? It seems like fraud and needs to change, or be investigated by federal authorities.

Went in shortly before close, headed to the clearance area, found two lazy boys, an area rug and 2 pieces of wall art that were very reasonably priced. Loaded in the car and out the door before close.

Bob Blazevich and Dan Hankins were very helpful in finding me great deals for my new furniture. One bit of criticism would be seeing dirt on surface of some of the clearance sale mattresses, but that can be cleaned - probably acquired from being moved into the clearance aisle, where the floor is concrete with some loose dirt. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

I purchased a couch on July 9, 2020.When I purchased the couch, they informed me it would take 5-6 weeks to deliver (so no later than August 20, 2020).After 6 weeks, I heard nothing from the company, so I called to get a status. They told me that it had been delayed and would arrive in the first week of October. In other words, an additional 6 weeks AFTER the original delivery date.They didnt make the first week of October estimate that they gave me either. When I called again, they informed me that my couch would be delivered on October 8.They did not give me an estimated time for when it would be delivered or even a window of time that I could expect it. They were just going to text me when they were on their way and I would have to stop everything and receive them.They also said they would not bring the couch to my apartment and that theyd just leave it outside and I would be responsible for getting it into my apartment.I called them on October 8 to get a status on the delivery and they told me that they hadnt put it in the computer and I would have to wait another WEEK for it to be delivered. They told me that they would bring it into the apartment rather than leaving it outside.So now it has been 14 weeks to have a couch delivered that I was told would only take 5-6 weeks. They had no problems charging my credit card and taking my money immediately when I purchased the couch.When the couch finally arrived, the moving person refused to bring it inside. I had to actually call Slumberland and talk to the person there before they would bring the couch inside my apartment.This entire process has been miserable and Slumberland never once apologized or tried to reconcile their mistakes with the delivery.I will NEVER purchase a piece of furniture from this company again.I hope that anyone reading this review thinks twice about giving their business to a company that doesnt value customers, doesnt keep their commitments, and doesnt even meet the basic expectations of a furniture company.

We were greeted right when we went in the door which was great. We wanted to look around and they were very accommodating for that .. When we wanted to buy something we went and found our guy that met us when we came in the door.Just one problem when we went to get him we had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes while he finished up on a phone call. That was the only downfall of the store that day. We found a few items after being helped by them and went home after about an hour and 15 minutes

I was initially happy with my experience, but several things led me to downgrade Slumberland. First, the salesperson should have alerted us to the dimensions of the mattress we purchased. He knew that this was going to be used by an 80 year old woman. It proved to be much too tall. About 33 inches in height with the frame instead of the normal 25 inches. Then when we exchanged the mattress for one more appropriately sized, we got stuck with a restocking fee. The first we heard about this was when we inquired about a return. We’d been told he had thirty days to return the merchandise. No questions asked. Not sure I would ever buy something from them again

We all did a good job had a little issue with Billy communication still dont understand how cost so much money to bring up a mattress and put it on top of the adjustable bed frame and then just throw the Box for the cover that I bought for $89 it cost me $60 I understand the mattress disposal fees I do but the set up fee too much money thats a lot of money Anyway get used to the mattress is nice its OK Ive recommended by there again this make sure you know what youre buying look at all the details

Be aware that doorstep delivery does not mean your actual doorstep if you live in a condo or apartment, it means on the street outside the building. Would have been nice to know...When I told them I was unhappy with my experience based on this and the extended wait for delivery I was told ok. Like I know you dont really care, but maybe try to act like you do at least a little bit..

Website gets two stars, as there is no discernible way to use your slumberland account to pay.I had to go into the store, and that was a five star experience. The staff didn’t judge my slovenly appearance, helped me find what I needed quickly, and didn’t waste my time trying to get me to buy anything I didn’t come in for.
