Phil, the store manager, was extremely helpful in answering my questions and providing me with the correct contacts for who could best help me in finalizing our PBK order. I had already tried the general PBK registry customer service line, with no success. Thank you Phil for going above and beyond.
Ive always been a fan of PB and still am after all these years. They really have some great decorating pieces and seem to run sales fairly often. The staff at the West Towne store is always really friendly and super helpful. Its also a great place to browse and pick up some decorating ideas.
I wish I had enough money to buy all the neat trinkets here :(
Store is closing and has almost nothing left
The product quality is good, but they have the worse consumer service that we have seen in many years. We ordered three matching pieces of furniture in November 2017. One of them got delivered in December 2017, and the delivery for two of them got postponed to January 2018... fine. Except that in December 2017, they sent an email saying that we wont receive these two pieces before April-May 2018... 6 months after the purchase. If they had told us that in the first place, we would not have bought our furniture with them. Now that we have one piece, we are stuck. We have contacted the customer service, and they did not reply. At this point, we are not even sure that they are going to postpone again. This company is ridiculous. They should not take orders if they cannot deliver within six months... or at least inform the customer before the purchase. Dont make the same mistake as us... go and get your furniture somewhere else!
I have been a customer at Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids for years. I was excited to hear that the store was offering free design services. The first designer that came out to my house was nice but brought few ideas that had anything to do with my conversation with her about my design needs. I was at my house showing her things online on the Pottery Barn catalog that I liked (vs. coming with ideas) and it took a long time for her to follow up with me. I didnt end up buying anything from her because I didnt receive anything that wowed me or I couldnt figure out on my own. A year later I tried their design services again. I spoke to a woman at the store who gave me hope that things would be different this time around. The designer spent an hour of my time at my house going through all of the furniture pieces I was looking for as well as design styles. The designer said she would get back to me with a list of costs on all of the items I liked. A week later she said she couldnt figure out how to email me the documents as apparently Pottery Barns system was down. I suggested she email them to me from her personal account and she never did. I finally called the store and said I was personally coming into the store to get the estimates. When I picked up the estimates it only had three furniture pieces listed of about 15 we had talked about. I asked the designer to email me all of the furniture piece names and estimates and I never received an email from her. I would not recommend Pottery Barns design service.
The store was exquisitely decorated for the holidays and the wide selection would fit any homes color palate. As always, the quality of the items were impeccable, and the staff were welcoming. I would recommend PotteryBarn for anyone looking to decorate their home with class!
The staff at Pottery Barn was very helpful in solving my issue with an item and getting my other item returned. In general the store and company have had excellent customer service and work hard for customer satisfaction!

They do a really good job of keeping merchandise fresh so that it looks like there is so much new stuff every time I come in.
I was so impressed with Pottery Barn in Madison. We had ordered a desk online and when it arrived it was damaged plus it was not the dimensions we originally thought we needed. I called the 800# and was given the run around. I called the Madison store and was amazed at how they were able to fix the entire situation. And to top it off, they also had the desk we wanted.
Love the staff at Pottery Barn (especially Stephanie). Good decorating advice and always new ideas! Thanks Pottery Barn.
