Excellent fresh halal meats and sandwiches. Excellent pastries. Not all Arab foods available, but theyre Turkish so its understandable.

Customer Service was so kind even close to closing time. I found the Lebanese olive oil i was looking for, and even though i accidentally dropped and broke a whole other bottle of olive oil, the clerk gave me another free of charge and was very understanding as i had my baby boy with me. Baklava was delicious, and he gave me a sample extra with my pound.

I saw an add on FB for here. We were heading to Madison for the farmers market, about a two hour drive. We decided to stop and check out this place and we are so glad that we did! Excellent food, excellent service. Will be sure to stop back the next time we are out that way.

I love this store. It not only sells high quality middle eastern and Turkish goods, it has the same atmosphere of a middle eastern store. Its cozy, slightly chaotic and very friendly. You are guaranteed to find what you are looking for and more. So glad we have store like this in Madison!

We frequently go to buy tea and open feta cheese, which is the best and cheapest you can find in town. the store itself is like any other small store in Europe and Asia. they also make gyro in the store if you’re hungry.

Very friendly staff, very accommodating. Butcher was great he ground fresh lamb and cubed lamb for me. Woman at register was very helpful. Store is a little overstuffed with very narrow aisle but that meant a lot of choices. Prices seemed reasonable.

Was there yesterday and bought a lot of things. I get home and my wife looks at the dates and most of our stuff that we bought is expired 😡.I spent $300 there for expired stuff get involved in you products people you gonna kill someone stop selling expired food....

Worst grocery ever. Most of the food cans and items are expired. Bread is old and the treatment is horrible. I doubt the meat is fresh. Be careful when they charge you, in many occasions I have being over charged without my knowledge...

The place is a bit small and crowded but has some great finds. We regularly buy there dried olives (seka brand), ajvar (Mamas), bureks, frozen falafels, preserves, Bulgarian feta, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful!

This store is not good

The grocery store is densely packed with merchandise, making it difficult to maneuver through the narrow aisles. This issue was exacerbated by the fact the staff was restocking the store shelves during my visit.The carryout kitchen, with a tiny flattop, grill and range, is in the back of the store. Menu items on the menu include kabab, falafel, burgers, goat chops and gyros. There was a single staff person responsible to taking orders and preparing the food, which he did in a deliberate, sequential manner. He would take an order, prepare all the food from that order before taking the next order. Since the person who ordered before me ordered multiple items, I waited for at least 10 minutes until my order was taken, giving me ample time to check out the merchandise in the grocery store (who knew you could find multiple brands of pomegranate molasses in Madison?!?) Once I finally had the opportunity to order, I had to wait another 10-15 minutes before I received my lamb kababs. If you are looking for grab and go food, look elsewhere, the pace here is very deliberate. I also received a free drink (a Turkish lemonade) with my meal.As much as I wanted to like it, my meal was a disappointment. While my well-trimmed lamb had a fantastic sear, it was under-seasoned and had a dry, chewy texture. The addition of a sauce would have really helped improve this dish. The salad that accompanied my meal was just OK, though the addition of Italian parsley to the greens added some appreciated zest. My dry, chewy pita was a further disappointment. On the positive side, I received some fine sporkware with my carryout container.While it is unlikely I will return for the food, seeing the massive selection of specialty ingredients and a variety of lamb and goat cuts in the meat counter, my visit inspired me to attempt to cook more Middle Eastern food on my own.
