The sales team at JR really helped guide my decision on my couch purchase. I have bought several pieces of furniture from them and the furniture has held up well over the years. My couch arrived earlier than expected even with all of the shipping issues.

I bought a coffee table the top started peeling right away. I called customer service and they sent a tech out. The tech said we needed a new top that this was a manufacturing defect. He would order it but it will take 8 weeks. Ok fine we wait well that was about 4 months ago and have made several calls to the customer service each time the manager will get back to me never one call back. So frustrated . $500 dollars for a table. I was so let down.

Took my friend in there and her daughter who was looking for a timeline chairs for their kitchen beautiful display of furniture its like a maze and theyre so huge and the furniture just gorgeous some pieces seemed a little pricey but others were very comparable. If you look on her furniture I would recommend taking a look at Jr furniture. Was a good experience in the staff was very friendly very nice.

Went in today for the first time for new furniture. Big selection with affordable prices, and the sales person was helpful. 1-2 weeks for it to arrive from the warehouse so cant say too much on the actual furniture yet. We liked it in the store

Came here with what I wanted and what I was going to spend already in mind. Comfortable, delivered within a month. Lillie assisted me, I purchased a lovely heather grey L shape couch, and JR was able to get my couch to me within a week!! Shout out to Lillie for encouraging me to sit and try out sofas, being knowledgeable, friendly and personable! Deliverers were fast and professional - my only recommendation would be, have deliverers take their shoes off or give them shoe covers to throw on right before entering someone’s home.love my new couch, thank you JR ♥️

Went to the store to fulfill a promise to my 5 year old to get him a bunk bed. Was greeted warmly, taken to where they had bunk beds and picked out a new bed and matress. Bed was delivered early and exceeds my expectations, now if only the five year old would sleep through the night on it!

One of the worst service I have ever seen. I can not give less than one star. Promise for delivery within 16 week but after even 20 weeks, no definite answer when I will get my order. No update from manager. Whenever calls, false promises provided. Not even cancelling my order, so I can buy it from other places.

Stay away from JR Furniture. Their sales staff are EXTREMELY pushy, even going so far as to try and emasculate me for telling them Im not going spend $4,000 on a couch without talking to my wife first and making sure the fabric was the one she wanted.I did end up buying a coffee table and end table. I was told it would be arriving in 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks I called in and the customer service lady told me it was going to be an additional 3 weeks, so total is was more than double the time I was quoted. When I said that I wanted to cancel my order then since it hadnt even been shipped in the time I was told it would take to arrive, she said only the manager can cancel orders and he was on vacation. There is only 1 person in the store who can cancel an order so if hes on vacation, youre out of luck to get any kind of customer service on an existing order.When I finally did get in touch with the manager, all he seemed to want to do was get me into the store to buy something else. Well make you a good deal! No! I want my order cancelled. Why would I buy something else when you cant even get me the order I already paid for?Stay away from JR! The sales people are pushy and they have terrible customer service.

Purchased a dining set and was told that theres a 4-6 weeks wait and was told they would give us a call. Waited patiently, 7 weeks past...heard nothing from them. Gave them a call and they had moved the date without letting us know and was told to wait another 4 weeks. We decided to wait again...4 weeks past...still havent heard anything, so most likely well be canceling our order. This was very disappointing...it was my first time giving a try on orders that we have to wait. Never again will i be doing that.

Bought a reclining sofa/loveseat combo. Sales person was great, after that everything went downhill. Delivery drivers hurried through the assembly process and put sofa together wrong. After we corrected, the back alignment was off. Called store and spoke to manager..what a joke. He asked that I email photos. I did, he said a technician would contact me. NOTHING but crickets. Have called, but nothing.SPEND YOU HARD EARNED DOLLARS SOMEPLACE ELSE!!!!

We were in the store to buy a couch and while trying out a couple couches, we noticed three staff members and a customer not respecting masks rules. When we asked one of the employees to please put his mask on properly, he rolled his eyes and stomped off away. Despite fully planning to buy a couch tonight, we didnt feel safe and left. This is not a safe place to shop during the pandemic and most importantly, during the recent surge.

I’m am very unhappy with the whole experience. I bought a couch, head board, bed frame, coffee table. The items took months to arrive. Which was frustrating but the most frustrating part was the lack of communication. And when I finally got everything I got stuff I did not want and the bed bed items were not what I ordered. I have bought 4 couches from JR (usually southcenter) and this was my first and last time dealing with the Lynnwood branch or JR ever again. I now have a bed I did not order or want and do not want to deal with JR ever again so just money wasted away.

It was very uncomfortable to hear and see and no matter what this guy might have done (which from what I could understand was he took a private phone call) It definitely did not merit the response that everybody had to listen to. I have a very positive experience at this store. We went three times before we decided to buy a leather couch and loveseat. All three times Sunny was so patient and helpful with all the questions we had. He spent time with us and we didnt feel rushed. We had the couches delivered a week after purchase and they are very good quality and look great.

Bought pull-tab recliner chair. Took home and immediately had trouble locking in sitting position or staying in reclining position. Also leg rest was very uncomfortable without support. Called store to exchange for another piece of furniture but was sent a technician who added a tiny bit of fluff to pad non- supported leg rest.Bottom line: manager refused to exchange chair. Recliner is useless and JR Furniture does NOT stand behind their products. My husband and I are 70 and needed recliner for post surgeries. Company not trustworthy.UPDATE: Ended up selling chair and buying a power recliner from another store.

Misleading company with financing. They have a sign twirler who offers no financing for 12 months. Once you get there they sign you up with a Progressive leasing which is a predatory lender. If you do not pay them off in 90 days the cost of the furniture doubles on the 120th day. If you purchase a couch for $1843.00 an dont pay off in 90 days one month after you will owe $1361 to pay off that day. Thats almost what the couch cost for extending contract 30 days this is predatory lending and is also not explained when signing paperwork. BUYER BEWARE!! Ill never shop here again.

AUGUST 2021 -- You need to understand that all sales are final and so are all orders - even if you have just walked out the door. This is a hidden policy. Most important to note: When their furniture shows IN STOCK, the guy told me, that means at their warehouse (in Chehalis or Centralia)!!!! So in stock does not mean in stock. ASK them. It took over 4 months to get my furniture. We got a call, THEN we backed a truck up to the loading dock. We get home and realize theyve given two love seats in place of a sofa and a loveseat. The big surprise is that the packing slip has been changed to reflect that I ordered two love seats. It took another month or so to get the correct one. You better be CAREFUL if you go here. You better love it and be 100% sure before you leave the store. My brother bought one couch there, he also waited 16 weeks and then he ended up getting the floor model. BUYER BEWARE.

One of the worst experience I ever had in the world of purchasing. My wife and me were shopping around furniture stores and somehow our GPS took us to this store. The owner, along with one of her sales persons, hassled us as giving us discount to one of the recliner set of sofas which he marker $ 1500.00 more than the store we were. The sales person who overheard us when we expressed our surprise, came and asked us where we saw the price which we told her. Then a few minutes later, the owner came, apologized and send he will match that price. The woman came back and start foaming how great the sofa was. My wife kind of thought she got a deal and wanted to take it. I didn’t like the whole drama but didn’t resist. But since he said he will deliver in a week time, I thought I would read reviews and cancel before it got delivered. He delivered on the third day, and right away and we didn’t like it. We went and asked them if we can return them. The owner charged us more than $550.00 restocking fee on top of the $200 deliver and pick up fee after a long back and forth and attitude talk. We lost $ 700.00 dollars for returning it within 24 hours.

Shady experience with JR furniture. I bought a couch with protection plan. When i called insurance to create a claim, they were ready to issue credit, however, they mentioned JR Furniture never made payment to them, so they couldnt register. I have been pushed between JR Furniture, GBS and despite of 10+ calls, JR furniture failed to explain why they didnt pay GBS. To my surprise, instead of addressing the issue, JR furniture trying to shy away from claim. They also have very poor customer service, where they do not respond to emails, calls. You have to constantly call them up to check the status(no other way)I recommend you shop in reliable places. if you must shop here, make sure the payments are made to insurance companies and double check to ensure money is going where it is supposed to.

I brought a nice kitchen table there. They had me sign an accept as is form. So I checked the table out again to make sure there was nothing wrong with the table. I ask them if anything was wrong with the table. They said No just procedture. l have a keen eye for detail. They would not let me help put the table in the Van for some reason. 3 days later the leg support began falling off the chairs. Had to wood glue new screws in. Then the side support snapped. I turned the table upside down and could see this table had been broken, glued, sanded, and put back together. No wonder the parking lot was so empty.

I’m very disappointed with JR Furniture. We bought a dining table set from them in 2015 for $850 and also bought 2 side tables later. Within a year, the dining sets leather chair seam started coming off/ripping on all 6 chairs as well as the screws on few of the chairs keep getting loose.We also bought extended warranty from GBS for $80 but they told us the warranty doesnt cover it and asked us to contact JR. JR also asked us to contact GBS so were in an endless loop without any help.We’re simply looking to get our chairs fixed or replaced but Im afraid our purchase was a complete waste.Rohan

Long story short, I bought 90% of my house furniture from this store.  Store manager told me most of my furniture are in their stock except the bed frame. I was told it will take 30  to 45 days to get delivered to store. I paid $250.00 for the delivery of furniture they had in stock. And I was told that I would need to pick the bed frame myself. After 20 days or so the store manager called me telling me my bed frame has arrived to be picked up. I borrowed my friend truck went to store, store manager gave me 2 box out of 3 box. Telling me one box is missing. Seriously? He called me after few hours telling me to go back pick the missing piece. I told him the manager I already returned my friend truck so please have it delivered to me. He said he cant deliver it for 2 weeks. I was like its fine after 2 weeks of wait he didnt delivered it. I called and he told me that i have to pick it myself or else he will hold it for another month to deliver it unless I pay $100 extra to him and he will deliver it same day. STORE MANAGER is a total lier, he needs to go take customer skills classes instead of threatening customer that he will hold and not deliver the furniture for another month. DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM JR FURNITURE LYNNWOOD STORE. The Manager is horrible and will rip you off left and right. He is holding my bed frame for another month unless I pay him $100 for his fault. FIND SOMONE GOOD BEFORE THIS MANAGER SCREW UP YOUR STORE by threatening customers who bought thousands of dollars of furniture from your store.

My salesmen was awesome! He was super helpful and not pushy at all! Got a couch and kitchen table from there which are holding up awesome! Only down side is I told them I had stairs going up to my place and they said no issue but upon delivery I was charged for going up stairs etc. just double check all delivery details ahead of time. Other wise great store, workers and furniture!

I must say, the outward appearance belies the scope and magnitude of the offerings inside. The array and variety of furnishings is impressive. In three separate visits, I have purchased 5 pieces of furniture, all visually pleasing (to my tastes) and priced within reason. Store personnel were very helpful. I arranged delivery and assembly of my purchases, and delivery was punctual. I will be going back in the future, as its fun to see whats new. Dont let the outside appearance detract from a fun furniture store.

Terrible customer service - Carl instructed me to look up the fabric options online myself, saying its difficult for him to do it. I told him the fabric name Berkley, Stanton Brand, gave model numbers... I wont be coming in, recommending this business to anyone, or giving them my business. I would have phone ordered but was treated as though only those who come in are worth helping. He told me to come in, I live in Marysville and know what I want, model numbers and all, I just needed Stanton #s to compare online to the JR #s I have. Total mess. I come from 20+ yrs retail and property management. This was a very bad example of a lazy commission sales person that wont work to earn a sale and obviously has no value for potential customers. He said to take pictures and come and compare, I have pictures and would have happily emailed them, they are just a year prior models but he obviously had no interest in helping me at all. Right down to telling me to look up the fabric myself. Sad!

I would never go anywhere else for my furniture needs. An accidental stumbled upon JR Furniture turned into my house furnished by them. So helpful, love the communication in regards to picking up our product we had to wait on, was right on time. The sale people are wonderful. None pressure and let me sit and feel what the couch, bed, tables felt like. No rushing I think we spend 3 hours just trying the comfort! Now fast forward... the products we bought are 100% satisfaction! Not cheaply made at all. Very sturdy, rugged and can make it with no holes, rips or broken with 2 dogs, teenagers and adult children. Good quality and sweet customer service.

I am only giving 4 stars because we have only had the furniture for a few days. My review is based on the overall experience. Our sales person, Mike, was kind and respectful from the time we walked in the door. I knew I wanted leather, but I did not want brown. They had a set that fit what I was looking for and very comfortable. We were not able to pick up our purchase right away (a few weeks) and they were understanding about that. Once we were able to take delivery, it was scheduled for THE NEXT DAY!!. The company that brought the furniture was professional and courteous and even took our old couch away. They do require cash for delivery, which I was glad they told me about in advance because I NEVER have cash, lol. It all went very smoothly from beginning to end and so far I and everyone who has seen it, loves the furniture. If it lasts and does not break down in a year then I would give them 5 stars. A bad experience has jaded me. I am hoping to get years out of this.

I booked a dinning table set from this store on Black Friday evening and paid the the full amount including delivery charge. They said that the furniture would be delivered after 12 days. After coming home I realized that the table won’t fit my space. So next day morning I visited the store for returning the item. To my surprise they told me that there would be a 20% cancellation fee. And they didn’t listen to my request for waiving off the cancellation charges. I had to pay $400 for an item that I had never seen which was stil in their store.This is really a bad policy. The behavior of the manager was the worst. Please avoid this store like cancer.

First, they didnt come at the time they said they would and then they CHARGED AN EXTRA FEE for me not being there to accept the order.A VERY RUDE SALESMAN called me about it and directed the fault at me.I had them reschedule to have the couch delivered on the following Saturday.They said anytime between 2:00-6:00.No sign of the couch at 6:00.I called them about it and they said 6:00-8:00.No sign of the couch at 7:45, so I called again.A salesman picked up and explained that the delivery truck had broken down and my delivery would not be made that night and I would need to reschedule...VERY unprofessional and unreliable. Purchased a living room sectional at the end of 2016 and was talked into purchasing a 5 year protection plan for over $100. The recliner portion has failed and is completely broken and I have spent over 2 months trying to get SOMEONE from GBS to call me back. After MULTIPLE calls they now tell me that JR furniture never registered me and that they never got any payment so wont start a claim. I called JR furniture and was told to call back when the lady that knows about this stuff comes back! I spent almost 2 grand and it has broken beyond repair. I will never shop here again.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in the US. We wanted to buy a sofa and we were looking at two different options. We were not sure which one will fit best for our living room (even after measuring). So we asked the agent whether we can exchange it after it will be delivered. He said, Yes, but you have to pay the delivery fee again. We were fine with that and went ahead and purchased one sofa out of the two we were looking at. After it was delivered, we thought its a bit too big for our space and called their customer service to get it exchanged. Thats when our experience got horrible. We called multiple times and they said this should be decided by the manager and hes not available. Their manager thinks the customer should come to his feet and beg him to get something done. Thats the worst customer service weve ever seen. After calling a few times, we gave up and decided not to go there ever again.

STAY AWAY from this JR furniture. Fiancé and I bought a table and a bed frame from here. Our sales guy said the table would be in store in about a week, which it was. Our bed frame was supposed to be in store anywhere from 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks has passed by several days. I call on a Monday to speak with customer service to ask where our bed frame is. Guy tells me its AT LEAST ANOTHER 3 weeks out. I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager to speak with and that it is what it is. He tells me to call back on Wednesday. Call back Wednesday and speak to another customer service rep who says there is no manager in until Saturday. I call back AGAIN Saturday only to be told that no managers work until Monday. At this point Im ready to just cancel payment on the credit card I used and go somewhere else. Customer arrive is beyond awful and no one can tell me when my order will even be ready...UPDATE: still had to call every week only to be told each time that it’s going to take another week. After another several weeks of bad customer service, involving the BBB, and having my credit card company contact JR I was given a full refund. A month and a half process.

Horrible customer service. Disrespectful, and condescending. They will not help you if your order has issues. We ordered two leather sofas with scratches. I went back and talked with the manager, he was persistent that all leather sofas had some form of scratches. Even though he did not see how hideous the white fold in the middle of a black sofa with scratches looked. Supposedly that is how all leather is built. I have family members who have sofas from Macys in perfect condition for about the same price range. I have never heard such a ridiculous comment. Spend your money somewhere else and get better quality and better customer service.Dont Shop here! Save yourself respect.

We were completely happy with our purchase and experience at the Portland area store. They have a beautiful selection of furniture, the sales help was friendly and attentive but didnt hover or pressure. The loveseat we bought was just what I was looking for and their price was much better than a competitor, and worth going a little out of our way for. I will definitely go back .

I enjoyed shopping at this store. Very professional employees who were there to assist if needed. I also appreciated the fact that the shopper was allowed time alone to think and consider. It took me 2 to 3 trips to decide on my sofa bed but I absolutely love it.

Delivery people and JR Furniture declined to complete the delivery of a sectional couch. At my house, they claimed it was because the door wasnt standard. It is--80x30. And then they stated that this couch could fit through the door but it would cost an extra $100 because it would require a 30 minute disassembly and reassembly. When I declined to pay the extra $100, they took the couch away. Bait and switch.

WARNING!! Do not purchase anything from this unethical company. They sold me a broken couch- took 2.5 months for them to replace ( only after I got the BBB involved). 5 days after they exchanged my couch someone shows up on my doorstep with old cushions that I have no idea where they have been. They had to swap out 1/2 the new couch for the old. It was tacky and unprofessional. Also- do NOT finance - we were sold a couch for $1500, and by financing it we are paying $3600.00. Not once was that explained when we bought it. I’m stuck with a couch worth maybe $700 and am paying $ 3600.00.Disgusting.I have purchased furniture from other companies and not once did I have to deal with anything like this.

Cameron was a wonderful person to do business with. She knew the product and if she was not sure about something she would go find out so she could answer any questions I had. Kept me posted on delivery times and was able to get a piece of furniture repaired right away. She even called the warranty people for me when I told her they were rude and wouldnt send me a repair kit. Well, I received one at no charge thanks to Cameron. Everyone down to the delivery guys were awesome. A great experience.

I love the couch and the sales team is very kind and helpful but when it was damaged by their loading crew the lady in the office was incredibly rude and fealt the need to make snide remarks. The loading crew was very kind when we talked to them about it and made sure to be extra careful when loading the remainder as well as the guy in there office made it his mission to help us. My experience would have been a 5 star review if not for the lady in there office being incredibly unprofessional on the phone and in person.

Not recommended.Many other places with better prices.I canceled my purchase, and summited a claim thru my bank. JR furniture has responded for the claim and wants the full amount of the purchase even though I never got the couch. Never was the couch in transit. They wanted 20% cancelation fee and restock fee. At this point just waiting dor the bank. But no couch and more that 1,600 dls charge to my account.Never would i buy from them. Not even the best prices in Seattle. Not recommended. Not at all

Our experience was excellent. We were in the store for a good 2 to 3 hours going back and forth on couches, color, and accent pillows. We were taking samples and swatches outside into direct light, and our 4 year old was making herself at home lounging on every chair and couch she wanted to. The sales staff was friendly, patient with our tot, patient with us going back and forth on color combos, and let us take the swatches we wanted that they had home with us. Its a 4 to 6 week turn around on custom orders and right at the 6 week mark our couch is ready to pick up. We are very happy with our experience.

The staff people were always friendly, professional, patient, and very knowledgeable about their products and how they can be customized. I was completely impressed! I had been looking for a sectional and because I have a log home not just anyone would do. The salesman was so helpful and I ended up getting an amazing sectional. I have had it about a year now and it still looks great! That is with a German Shepherd that thinks the couch is his personal space. Not only did I get a great price, when I went in they were having a sale and they gave me the difference off my purchase. I am one very satisfied customer and cannot say enough about my experience. I only wish I could remember the salesmans name he was awesome!

These people are unbelievable.We ordered several pieces, but the problem was with two lounge chairs. Our designer had a sheet that JR Furniture printed, quoting what she recommended for us. We went to the store with this, and said we wanted what was listed. Several weeks later, our designer happened to be in the store and it turns out they ordered the wrong color for our two lounge chairs. This wouldnt be a problem, except they initially refused to just fix the problem. Instead, they blamed us and our designer, when we literally handed them the quote that they printed out, and they ordered something different. They made us pay a separate delivery charge (which wound up being even higher than quoted when the delivery arrived) and wait an extra month, in addition to a dozen phone calls.All the reviews here speak volumes about this place: Shop. Somewhere. Else.
