By far the best furniture shopping experience we have had. Went to a number of different well known stores where we were borderline stalked upon stepping into the building - Two even went as far as requesting our names be written down before touring. (Our first thought was that this was a COVID protocol, which would have been fine, but they only requested our first name with no means of contacting us in case of anything.)At Josh Underhills we were offered help, and upon mentioning that we were just browsing we were left alone. The wood tables were high quality & we decided to bite the bullet on one. We got it the next day and while trying to put it together I broke a piece in half while trying to get two things shoved together. I was fairly upset and called in to see what the options were. They had me come on down and they were going to just order me a new piece as they only had the floor model - but it was going to take 4 weeks to get in. They immediately asked if Id rather have them take a part the floor model & give me their spare part. I was glad I didnt have to wait 4 weeks for a little piece & was appreciative of them bending over backwards for me!A+ for good support while shopping and an even bigger A++ for post purchase support. They couldve easily said itd be a 4 week wait.The next day my sister-in-law went in & bought a couch.

My husband and I had a great experience with Underhills. We have a small space and were rather constrained in what size sofa we needed. Chris was incredibly helpful in showing us options that would fit our space and we found exactly what we needed. Even got next-day delivery! Were very happy with our new sofa!

We were in the market looking for a recliner for my recovery from a surgery. The staff at Underhills has been extraordinarily patient and helpful. We ended up testing a couple recliners at home and when we found them to not be a good fit, it is was hassle-free returns. We ended up settling on one and found the price point to be wonderful. They sell Stanton brand that is made in the USA and can be disassembled for easier moving (which Ive found to be especially handy when it comes to apartment living). I went Underhills Furniture in Lynnwood looking for a bedroom set. After talking to the salesman Damion who was very knowledgeable I picked out a set. To my surprise they could deliver at the same day. Two wonderful gentlemen delivered the bedroom set on time and very quickly. The delivery drivers were polite and courteous. Unfortunately after they left and I could exercise social distancing I checked out the bedroom set and found multiple flaws such as broken drawers, screws falling out, a chip in the dresser, and drawers that dont close or open properly. I called the delivery driver and to my surprise they came back to my house to look at it and offered me multiple options. After a night of thinking about it I decided that things can only get worse if I hold on to this set. So I made my way back to Lynnwood to the store and to my surprise Josh the owner was there and has already seen pictures and video of the issue. It was a pleasant surprise when Josh said we will do whatever it takes to make it right. So after looking at all the sets and finding one in their catalog I decided to give them another try. Their customer service is key to me being a nurse and retired military person. Although it may be sometime before that other bedroom set is available, it is a pleasant surprise finding customer service of that magnitude. Josh is willing to work around my schedule to pick up the old set and no cost to me and deliver the new set at no additional cost to me. Another very good customer relations and customer service point. I will definitely continue shopping at Underhills as I have in the past. Whats the full cycle is complete and Ive received the other bedroom set I will update my post even further. I highly recommend Josh and his team.

They had affordable prices compared to other nearby stores; we didnt see anything over 2600 and that was the largest most comfortable sectional in the store (to be fair we didnt look at any leather couches). We purchased a Stanton sectional with a 7 year warranty and we cant wait for it to be delivered!

I went to three or four other furniture stores in Lynnwood before I went to Underhills and I regret not making it my first stop! Scott in the showroom was really informative and helpful and when bed frame and dresser was delivered 3 weeks later Zee was in and out in less then 30 minutes (and that includes the time he spent putting together the bed). 10/10 would recommend.

Weve bought dining room, bedroom furniture, and an entertainment center here. Great quality furniture made in OR. although they offer a few other brands as well. No sales tax! Scott is helpful without being high pressure. Its the first place we look when buying furniture.

Best prices in town for same furniture youll find elsewhere around Lynnwood and theyre VERY low pressure! Almost 5 years ago the first thing I ever bought here was a new custom order Stanton sectional couch & ottoman. They were a few hundred dollars below anyone else for the same custom order Stanton including fabric & etc and a total breeze to deal with. I have since bought several pieces from them including a full bedroom set, home office furniture, shelves... Will continue to buy my furniture here! Couldnt recommend them enough!

For the semi drivers, if youre coming from a I-5 go up to 40th and take a left, then back into the parking lot behind the store. You will have to Blindside it and jackknife it to the dock. Good luck. The people seem to be very nice.

We bought a dinning room table set with buffet (about $3500.00) - looked very good in the store but after about 2 years, the finish is coming off almost every chair, spots on the table.At the same time we bought a bed and dresser for our son. The drawers under the bed are not worthy of usage from a typical child - they are all broken, and the dresser arrived with a different finish on it which does does match the bed. This was already the second replacement as the first arrived damaged. We gave up.Would not recommend this store. The furniture is made to look good, command a high price and it does not deliver.

Update March 2nd 2019 - sideboard broke - quick, easy, warranty replacement. Josh himself came out to replace as they were short staffed today. Customer service cannot be beat. They have earned all our furniture business for life. Thank you Undethills.Found lovely bedroom set today. Scott was a great help without hovering. Can hardly wait for it to arrive in a couple of weeks. Great experience today.

I went to this store about a year ago with my boyfriend. There were several employees hanging around the desk area in the back chatting. I tried to make eye contact from the front of the store and the guy looked away. I just felt like nobody wanted to help me. I decided to look at another furniture store.Around thanksgiving time this year I came to this store again with my mom. We were greeted and I guess it was nice not being followed around. We were being watched though. There was an overweight blond woman that kept looking at us and whispering to the other guy that was working that night. While my mom was walking around to the front I was towards the back and I overheard some of what the lady was saying. She was snickering and being very nasty saying See? I knew they arent going to buy anything The whole time they sat there talking about us and they could have just spoke to us and treated us with a little decency. My mom wanted me to ask them about one of the beds but I told her we needed to leave immediately and then told her what happened when we got outside.The first time I came here with my boyfriend I didnt want to think the reason we werent being helped was because hes black and Im white/native. After hearing this woman assume we werent going to buy anything based off of appearance alone (she didnt even speak to us!) I realize that this store isnt friendly to POC. Maybe we look poor because we arent white? We were dressed well. We were definitely serious about buying as we had a whole house to fill with furniture.We went to JR furniture and the lady that helped us was very nice. We bought a sectional and two beds. Spent over 7,000. Still have more furniture to buy and definitely wont be returning to underhills.

Granted they got a pretty good pricing, but their delivery promise and service are not the best! I had to wait for a lot longer on getting few furnitures delivered to me, and even had to contact them on several occasions.

I was surprised with the variety and how much furniture was in the store. I liked that I would be able to buy and pick up the furniture without waiting for shipping.

Great service and selection. We took a day off to go around all the Kirkland stores and ended up in Lynwood to find more stores. We arent quite ready to invest in furniture that lasts a life time, so Dania was nice but above our budget, but the cost effective items like IKEA and Furniture World we too far at the opposite end for us, we wanted something in-between. Underhills was perfect for us, its wood furniture with veneers, nicer and more solid than MDF(fiber/particle board) furniture but not as expensive as solid wood. As others have pointed out, its not going to last as well as full solid wood, but itll do as well as/better than MDF furniture and is more solid for moving (only matters if you intend to move much in the next 5 years of course!) which matters to us as we will move again.We got great service, well looked after in figuring out the right bed, tall dresser, media chest and night stands for our bedroom. It was about $3000 for all plus delivery and assembly (pretty typical charges we found).The delivery was quick and the buyer and her husband even stepped in to get our items quickly as some of the delivery team were off sick, they delivered right when they said they would.Very pleased with the items now they are in place. Our storage bed is yet to come so I will update review once that has been delivered and assembled.Update - the Storage Bed is awesome, only thing I would say is measure your mattress, our Cal King leaves a slight gap around the edge which means the wood the mattress sits on can get exposed if you are not careful. Nothing serious just make sure your duvet covers it if your mattress is smaller than the space.
