I absolutely love this place, it really is your one stop shop for all things beauty. The energy when you walk in is positive and there is always some one greeting and asking how you are doing. I have always been able to find what I am looking for and even when I have troubles the Ulta staff really goes above and beyond. I have been coming here for years and love that the location is easy to get in and out of. What ever you are looking for, hair services, waxing at benefit, mini facials, products, make up, gift sets, etc. They have everything you need.

I have been going to Madel for my brows for a few years now and I could not recommend anyone better than her. She always does a perfect job and I would not trust anyone else to do my brows. If you’re looking for the right person/place at a great price, I highly recommend seeing Madel at the Ulta Brow Bar in Lynnwood.

I had such an awesome experience here! I think I unknowingly pulled a girl away from stocking, but she took the time to help me find the right shade of concealer before handing me off to this other great guy to help me with foundation (Monday, ~1pm). Wish I had gotten his name, but he spent a ton of time color matching me (I’m deceptively pale!) and helping me choose a foundation and bronzer that would work for my skin tone. And he was so personable and friendly! I usually hit either Sephora at the mall or the Ulta in Everett, but it’s difficult to find makeup artists who spend that much time making sure the color match is perfect! I walked out today feeling really confident in everything I bought, which I don’t always feel at other makeup stores. I’ll be back here next time I need to pick up makeup solely based on the great service I received from the makeup artists. :)

Im a loyal Ulta Beauty customer and have visited the store many times. This evening, at this store was far and away my best experience. Sometimes Im up for shopping for fun and spending time in the store. Tonight was not that night. I was on a mission to pick up several things quickly and the selections can be overwhelming. Two beauty specialists asked me questions and quickly identified the perfect products for me. All of their recommendations were great fits, exceeding expectations. This is not the closest location to my home, but I will be making the drive here for all of my future Ulta purchases.

I came here with my fiance to find her a new makeup brush and some products for her hsir. The staff was awesome. Even when she didnt remember what the exact product was that she was looking for they asked questions and figured it out. They were patient, attentive, and friendly. Honestly, I dont know much about beauty products but they were even able to help me out to understand what my fiance was after and why.They have an insane variety of products offered. It was a little dizzying for me but still impressive. Even when my fiance couldnt find the exact one she wanted there was an option that was just as good, or better, somewhere else in the store.I think the prices are well appointed, not too high for the premium stuff that they offer.This is an awesome location. Highly recommended purely on the people who work there.

I love Ulta. I feel like this store is a little crowded though. Dont get me wrong, i love how wide of a selection they carry of beauty items, but sometimes its hard to get around the isles. If someone is shopping in one isle, its hard to get around them without asking them to move.Other than that, they carry a lot of awesome brands and they are usually in stock for all the items im looking for which is a plus!The lines for the register usually take a long time, so thats another thing i wish was better. Faster service means happy customers.

Went into this location today to buy a few things. Noticed the checker, Hayley was all by herself, desperately on her radio asking for help with 3 other things besides helping the customers in line. She kept her cool and was very, very polite during the whole endeavor. What I assumed was the manager was EXTREMELY rude to the poor girl. As the cashier got on her radio to ask for help and was not acknowledged, she grabbed a nearby staff member who shrugged her off, saying that “wasn’t her job”. The “manager” came up and started belittling the cashier saying “yeah, so next time you need to radio when you need help..” which I witnessed the cashier do multiple times. I stepped in and said “ma’am, she did radio you. Four times. With no answer.” To which I got a very snobby scoff and she continued to take her aggression out on the cashier, being very condescending to the poor girl. The cashier was finally able to help me and she apologized over and over, to which I responded with a “girl, I understand retail. I’m sorry you’re going through this.” I will only go back if that manager is not in the building, as she absolutely made me livid. Makes me mad to know she’s treating her employees like this.

With a wonderful customer service experience and an even better rewards system Ulta beauty is my one and only one stop shop beauty. The associates are trained to absolute professionalism and ready to help any and everyone be and feel as their most beautiful selves. This is my jam!!!!! And theyre so kind about kiddos.

I had a bad bad morning. Rushed my make up on before leaving the house, basically a hot mess. I went in and they were so helpful. I had some embarrassing marks on my face and they didn’t even blink an eye. They made me feel so comfortable and special. They say me down and fixed me right up. They taught me about a few products to help with things. Asked me if I had any questions about how to do any types of techniques or products from home. I would drive extra just to go to this particular store. The employees who helped me were amazing. I wish I could remember their names to give them credit! And of course the products were awesome, even was shown some new ones I’m now obsessed with.

I love this store but the last few times there has been an associate following me around until I finally left because I felt so uncomfortable like they thought I was stealing or something. It was really odd. I would have bought more but at that point just wanted to get out of the store. Bummer, and weird.

Amazing quality. Amazing price. Less than half the cost at Sephora. I dont usually wear makeup and Im only getting some for Comic Con this year so Ulta was the place to go!

Feeling rejuvenated after Sabrinas salon service. She knows just what Im trying to explain with respect to my hair wants. Service is great, everyone is friendly, and the price is manageable. Only ding is related to the intense fluorescent lighting which I can be sensitive to. One happy mama indeed!

This store always has what I’m looking for and is always clean and organized. 4 stars because it’s sometimes hard to find staff to help you, although they are definitely helpful and friendly when you do find one!

I have been to this location several times, am a rewards member, and never had any complaints before. Today I went for a relaxing day of shopping, was greeted like normal, and let them know I was just browsing. After finding a new foundation I liked the look of, I walked over to the hair section to browse some more. I mightve chosen more product to purchase, except at this point an employee began following me around. I smiled and said hello, let her know I was just browsing, and she continued to follow me around. Annoyed, I walked up to the cashiers to check out. She continued to follow me. I waited in line, looking at samples, and she pretended to organize product next to the line. She didnt stop watching me until I had paid (with my Ulta credit card) and left the store. I dont know what it was that made her think I was going to steal, but maybe next time be a little more subtle with your assumptions about me. Maybe Sephora will be a better place for me to shop.

Been getting my brows waxed and tinted for about a year. My brows look sooooo much better after years of services in the area!

The manager is very nice. Maddie is awesome at the brow bar. Rachel &Nadel(?) Are missed at the brow bar. Didnt think Id find a great replacement when they left. However gotta say Maddie is awesome.

Tina is the best! She made my daughter feel like a princess for her ballet recital. She took our request and really ran with it. Would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

Not a busy day, many ladies working the floor, not one offered to help the entire 40 minutes I was there. Great selection of higher end products, however, all the foundation is 30 bucks or more .... yikes on the prices!

Rude manager, wanted to decline my coupon without even reading the fine print even though it was valid... once I pointed it out she got an attitude about it but had to let me use it of course.

Just a terrible experience getting my hair cut and coloured here today. My former stylist had moved on and they put me with someone that seemed completely awkward and inexperienced. My cut was nowhere near what I wanted, and there was no coaching that could of helped. She was wearing a full bandage on her finger that did not allow her to properly cut.She was sloppy when putting the colour on. Having it drip on my neck and on the front of my body.... And the guess what.....The colour came out wrong. The manager was right beside her and gave her a ‘quick fix’ to try and right the colour. All it did was colour may scalp even more... I feel like Darth Vader or one of the Munsters my scalp is so completely covered. They offered to have time come back in a couple of days to try and fix it again.I just wanted to get out of there. This 100% should not have been charged..... but it was....I just paid my bill and left. I will not be back to this location ever.

Went in and she butchered my eyebrows. I said I wanted to keep my eyebrows full just clean them up and I got uneven thin surprise brows

I just had my hair done, worse color/highlights I have ever had done. Paid 208.00 for full foils after tip and I have a blonde streak a red streak running from my neck under my hairline to the middle of my head. My hair is breaking off and looks frizzy and hardly have any highlights on the top of my head looks more like grey hair. I have never written a review but Im so upset not sure what to do. Worse job ever from getting highlights and paid so much for this. Im embarrassed to leave the house and I have to work tomorrow, not even sure if I can get it fixed with my hair breaking off. Never ever had this bad of a highlight job before. Dont go there, pay a little more and go to a nicer place. Its gonna take quite some time before my hairs back to normal. Just destroyed my hair.

Friendly staff every time I go in! One of the staff helped me save money by pointing me to a lower cost option for taming my curly hair than the high end serums. Instead of spending $30, I spent $8 (and the stuff works well!).

It is a very nice and clean shop. I brought new products and they were good quality.Update: I came here to find a product for my nieces dry scalp. The salesperson sold me an overpriced face serum as a scalp serum. I was hoping the salesperson was knowledgable but she wasnt so I would recommend making sure you double check what the salesperson is recommending. I had to return it and get another product for my niece in a difference section on my own. I am disappointed by their employee expertise.

I love Ulta. But if I visit this location again and encounter the same rude salesperson I did yesterday in the Philosophy area, Im leaving. Someone needs to educate her that insulting customers is not the way to make a sale. Trying to put eye cream on me OVER my makeup, saying my eyes look really dry (Im in my 30s and have oily skin) and speaking condescendingly while implying that my regimen is wrong as if I dont know what Im doing (its actually recommended by my derm).. no thank you. We were shocked that Ulta would hire someone so brash. Bad form. :(

I couldnt believe they get away with treating customers that way... I will honestly never be back to that Ulta store..like never ever again..

This review is in no way a reflection on my stylist. She is fantastic and over the years I have grown to trust her with even the most outrageous of changes. I am someone who goes with the flow and as long as I am receiving good customer service, I am happy.That being said, because she is so good, sometimes its difficult to get an appointment. Thats what you want in a stylist right?! Unfortunately, her co-workers are less than courteous when it comes to helping you squeeze in to have her work her magic. My most recent experience (today) has left me wondering if I will even keep my appointment this weekend for a complimentary re-color. The Salon Manager, Shannon, was rude and very discourteous when she was helping me. She made it very clear that the service I was told about is complimentary and therefore is not available on the weekends. She was also very clear that they are making an exception for me but the manner in which she chose to share that information with me was rude, curt and condescending. I have worked in Customer Service for over 25 years. I know what good service is and this is not it! You do not make your customers feel like villains. You do not make your customers feel like a burden. If you need to bend a few rules to keep your customer base happy you find a way to do it. If that means you have to call the customer back with a solution thats fine. Platinum definitely does not have its rewards in this scenario. This will probably be the reason I find a new stylist. Sad, but true.

Go-to for makeup, only bummer with this location is that they dont carry MAC, youll have to go to the Northgate location for that. They do have some MAC in the travel size rounders by checkout though.

I went to this location on Saturday, my first time here, I usually go to the Everett ulta. I gotta say that I was surprised because all the employees were so helpful and seemed like they actually care about their jobs, I’ve always had a bad experience at the Everett location. It’s also a very clean environment as well, I’ll be coming here all the time!

Decent sized Ulta but the customer service level is different every time you go.

Ulta is amazing! Unlike Sephora they have drugstore makeup and high end. For example they have E.L.F, Loreal and Maybeline. But they also have Tarte, Nars and Benefit!😄 They always have a good sale or coupon available. The Ulta staff from my experience are amazing and helpful. They ALWAYS know where everything is and they can help you get the best shade of makeup.🧡 Anyways, Ulta is clean, they have a great staff and great selection of makeup. 10/10 recommend rather than Sephora!

Its low rated just because I went in Friday night, saying they close @ 9pm I got there probably 12 minutes before 9 & the store was already closed! Light off, no one was their anymore! I had to drive like 30 minutes for that! I knew what I was getting so I would have been out in two minutes. Super disappointed that they closed that soon! Three other customers got the when I did, & they were as disappointed as me!

Ulta Alderwood branch is a very popular place and the staff is very friendly.The Benefit brow bar is an awesome place, best treatment there.

Return policy is not great. If you decide against something due to allergy or an issue with your skin, you can only return eith so much gone. Being auto immune, I dont often see a different before 2 weeks of use... so I end up keeping a lot of products I cannot use and have no need for. Plus, no free shipping for returns. Ouch.

I made a special visit to the store on my birthday in August last year. I collect my bday gift from them every year. The staff that attended demanded that I show her a birthday email thats sent out from them and did not belive that it was my birthday. Seriously? Women if you look at the date of today and my birthdate....wwwaaallah! Not rocket science! Somehow they didnt sent out my email and Ive seen overtimes staff just honoring it without any email requirement. I walked out of the st9re without my gift... So muvh for being a valuable rewards member with them. Funny because I today took a relative shopping and it was her birthday, she gave her the gift without any questions I guess each staff has their own policies flying around. PATHETIC!

Today my daughter and i went in to browse and see what they had. The overweight lady with purple hair asked my daughter if she was looking for something, and my daughter said no, after that this lady proceeded to follow us around the store, and stare at us, making my daughter and i very uncomfortable, so we left....never to return to your store again. Its too bad, this day and age, that customers are considered potential theives, just because they want to window shop. That was very poor customer service

I love this location! Super friendly, but not too annoying. The most annoying thing is when u walk into a beauty store and they will not stop bugging u the entire time, like they think ur going to steal something, while whispering into there headpieces. Ive had that happen MANY times at the Everett mall location which is why I never go to that one anymore and always shop at this one! The SAs greet u nicely, ask u if ur looking for something and thats it. They dont follow u around like stalkers and keep asking if u need anything and literally never let u leave there sight. The SAs keep to themselves and dont bug me every 5 minutes. Love that about this location!

Nice selection of beauty supplies but pretty high prices!

Went in to get a concealer and asked about a free brush that was supposed to be given with the purchase of the IT under eye concealer and the cashier said they no longer were doing it even though I had just received that email that same day. Staff was unprofessional and only watched you as you went by rather than asking if you needed help. Will be sticking to sephora.

This store offers products for men - not all of them do.

The manager looked at me like I wasnt worthy of being alive and asked me if Ive ever used a beauty blender. I regret spending $40 in there.
