This university has been helping me be a better Yahweh follower, a more prepared nurse for the future, a leader, educator, mentor to new a current colleagues and has been a great support in my journey. I started my RN - BSN in 2012, completed my BSN-MSN this year. So thankful for this university raising up leaders in Christ. My bride and I have never physically visited the university though we hope to in the near future. We both were able to virtually walk, my bride for her Bachelor in science with a concentration in business and Human Resources management. Thank you Liberty for a great experience.

Set up a campus tour. It was 3 hours which entailed visiting the dorms and dining areas. To include the fitness and recreation center. As well the Jerry Falwell Library and Vines Center. We walked the campus for a few hours and then we rode the bus for the remainder of the tour. Everyone was friendly. The student tour guides did an excellent job. The campus was huge. It was well maintained. They have three dorm options. One to include apartments that house seven people. Freshmen are able to bring vehicles on campus. Wide selection of dining options. Chick Fil A, Dunkin Donuts and many others. Dining options in same building as library.

What a gorgeous campus Liberty is!! They appear to have much to offer their students. All their sports fields were top notch. I was only here for a baseball game but it definitely peaked our interest as a prospective college. A must visit campus if youre looking! One thing I will mention, when looking up Lynchburg, I read that 1 in 39 will fall victim to a violent or theft crime. 😬 Does raise some concern for us.

Liberty University (LU) is a private evangelical Christian university in Lynchburg, Virginia. It was founded by Jerry Falwell and Elmer L. Towns in 1971. Although the universitys physical campus is in Lynchburg, most of its students are online.[7][8] It is one of the largest evangelical Christian universities in the world and one of the largest private non-profit universities in the United States, measured by student enrollment.[9][10] As of 2017, the university enrolls more than 15,000 students at its Lynchburg campus and more than 94,000 students in online courses for a total of about 110,000.The school consists of 17 colleges, including a school of osteopathic medicine and a school of law.[12] Libertys athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are collectively known as the Liberty Flames. Their college football team is an NCAA Division I FBS Independent, while most of their other sports teams compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference.Studies at the university have a conservative Christian orientation, with three required Bible-studies classes for undergraduate students.[13] The universitys honor code, called the Liberty Way,” prohibits premarital sex and cohabitation.[14][15] Described as a bastion of the Christian right in American politics, the university plays a prominent role in Republican politics.

Still an amazing academic institution. Still as committed as ever! So impressive. When America is under attack by far left organizations in our own backyard, and most ALL Christian colleges in America bend over for fear of losing funding/ student body numbers, they have put faith aside to praise such disgusting organizations. Liberty remains faithful and strong, a beacon of light in a country pushing God out. As far as Im concerned, the only Christian University still standing in our country is Liberty University!!!

This place was certainly not built for the 40,000 people there for graduation; however, it is a beautiful campus. The grounds are very clean, and the people are very welcoming. So awesome what 45 and counting years have produced for Liberty U. The campus has grown substantially since its inception. So to now include its own on-site book store where the students, staff, and families can get supplies, text books, even national best seller is incredible. Not sure if Liberty U has a franchise type operation with Barnes and Noble but Im pretty sure they have a Starbucks on-site at the bookstore as well. So its everything bookworms love all at one place. I wouldnt be surprised if the community within the town around the University go as patrons to the bookstore and Starbucks because of its centrality within a small town.

Im a vet and am finishing up my first semester at Liberty. So far I have had nothing but good experiences. I was nervous about going back to school after being in service for years, but the transition has been fairly easy with all of the help lve received. My instructors are very personable and go out of their way to help me with any problems I may run into. Professors are very professional and, unlike many schools, encourage students to form their own opinions. I have never felt as though any political agendas or doctrines were being forced upon me. Non Christians are treated equally well as everyone else, and are even welcomed to challenge or question anything they may disagree with. Divinity professors are more than willing to listen to other opinions and will clearly explain anything a non believer might want to know about Christianity. The campus itself is beautiful and full of fun things to do besides schoolwork. I am actually learning, rather than simply connecting dots to get a degree and that is exactly what I hoped for.

Whether you love or hate the upper administration, the people who really matter (staff and students) are fabulous people who glorify Christ with their teaching. I’m an adjunct professor as well, and love being able to interact with the students.I live in town, and often take my kids up to walk around the new courtyard and ride their bikes as well. DO NOT ATTEND THE SCHOOL COUNSELING MASTERS OF EDUCATION HERE. It is a gif awful program. You will receive no help.I have been told by the academic advisers that they have numerous complaints and they also agree this program is not good. I have been told that they aren’t required to answer my questions. I was told only 3 staff members to 600 students so they are overwhelmed... which I don’t understand how that is my problem. I have been screwed numerous times in my degree completion plan by academic advisors... I was even told I failed a class and needed to sign up for it numerous times until on academic advisor caught it and said I actually passed (after I called bear hunted times about the issue). I have also been told numerous times that I would get information sent to me or follow up and never received.I honestly don’t know how this school has accreditation with the way it is run.I graduated from NAU within 3 years (online for one year) and I never had these issues. After 14 weeks of reaching out you think I wouldn’t still be having these issues but they give two craps.I wish I could give them 0 stars because at this point they don’t even deserve 1.

Studied at Liberty University for graduate in History. I must say the program is very challenging and at times I thought I might not be able get over hurdles academically but thru perseverance and hard work I was able to achieve my goal. The counselors, educators, professors are extremely professional informative and passionate. On campus personnel are helpful and go out of their way to make you part of the Liberty team. As a Army veteran they honor the service by word and deed. Discounts in tuition. Cool. They look after their students welfare. When I went to my graduation in May 2017, they helped me by letting me stay in the dorms when all hotels were full and funds were low. (Thank you!)The campus is absolutely huge, beautiful and growing. The leadership under Jerry Falwell Jr. is absolutely awesome. Putting Jesus first in all. Having President Donald Trump speak at our 2017 Commencement in May was historic, magnificent and motivating. Thank you Liberty University for a marvelous experience at my graduate education.
