Great store. My 11yo was in awe. As soon as we walked inside his mouth dropped. It was so many cool anime items 4 his to checkout. He wants to go again today... lol

Customer service was nonexistent. I think one person was working the whole store. They also lacked stock on their shelves. I can say on a positive note the place was clean 😅

I seldom go to this place anymore probably because the location it is in is in a Mall that needs help but upon todays visit I was blown away at the level of merch that is in this store and how clean and presentable it is. So I took a bunch of pics. FYE is more than just music and movies it is everything inbetween and has is truly a geekgasm(my word) of products for any fan of pop culture. Some of their prices are too expensive on new movies but they constantly have deals going on that will supplement the pricing. I will definitely have to visit here again soon.

Its a good store, full of variety. Normally well kept and with friendly employees, I like coming here. My biggest complaint is the pricing. Some of their items can be found cheaper elsewhere such as the DVDs and some of the Japanese things. However, its a fun experience and an easy place to find a gift for any nerd in your life or yourself. The tee shirts are adorable and I like their vinyl selection

Sadly the worst FYE we had ever been too. Employees were cussing, the store was a mess and just all around not a fun retail environment to shop in.

Its still nostalgic, I loved this place since the 80s even tho its much smaller now. My kids love coming in here too.

Been a customer for the last fifteen years now. They have a great selection of vinyl & Blu-ray’s as well as various collectibles. The staff has gotten better over the years and Cameron is a great store manager who looks after his customers. I always check these guys out first before Amazon.

Great little store with alot of specialty items u dont find everywhere

The store is decent however the movie section is atrocious. Does not appear the staff care to keep the DVDs in order. You can find the selection of new movies but any other title would take hours to find the older titles. The staff did not have the time or could not be bothered to help out. All they want to do is stand at the register. Needs new management.

It was good. So much cool stuff that zone out & spend too much time in there.

Im giving them 5 stars not because of what happened with another customer in the store but because of how kind and understanding (and aware) the sales associate was on helping us out with the situation . They where super friendly and made us feel comfortable wed go back and buy a few vinyls. :)

I have been going to the FYE store in Lynchburg,Va. River Ridge Mall since day 1. I have seen the many changes in the store and its employees over the years. The employees and the management crew threre now are helpful and have worked hard to satisfy there customers and to keep the store comfortable to shop in. At this time the FYE store is in great shape and its employees deserve a lot of credit and not criticism. Thank You for great shopping expirences.

The place is aways a mess, the staffs will not help you much. The Roanoke, Va one is better and more fun.

Helpful staff and large selection of goods

Have been trying to call this store and nobody answers the phone, so I go to the store and its a complete MESS.... I USED TO LOVE THIS STORE, SAID TO SEE IT GO DOWN HILL.

Place always a mess. Def has eclectic pop culture stuff and about th only cd selection in town.
