Weve been using these guys for a year now for our car stuff and they are great. Very fair, very honest. And usually really quick! Well keep bringing our cars here!
This shop offers fast service at great prices. I dropped my Mustang off for a tire repair without an appointment and the job was finished within the hour. While working on my car, the mechanic noticed my oil change reminder was on and inquired if I would like to add this service as well. I agreed and he asked if I wanted synthetic or regular oil for my vehicle, which was appreciated. I was able to pick my car up within a few hours and was pleasantly surprised by the pricing and pleased with the service.
Great service and great prices.
Got my vehicle state inspected and was rejected for a brake light. Got the light fixed and tried bringing the vehicle back 3 time to get them to check the light was acceptable and install the inspection sticker. They kept telling me they could not fit me in until tomorrow. I would come back the next morning and get the same answer. This went on for 3 days until I ended up taking it somewhere else. How does someone get completely booted to the back of the line for something that they already paid for and would only take a few minutes? Take your business else where for a more professional and organized atmosphere.
I NEED TWO TIRES ASAP CALLED AT 8AM WAS TOLD THE SHOP WAS VERY FULL BUT EXPLAINED I HAD TO BE READY TO TOLL BY 12 NOON THE VERY NICE YOUNG LADY ON THE PHONE SAID WE WILL HAVE YOU READY. 45 MIN LATER I GOT A CALL TRUCK WAS READY. THAT SERVICE AND WHY FROM NOW ON THIS IS MY SERVICE CENTER.
Took my truck there less than a year ago to have front end work done. Was told all bushings and ball joints were good and truck passed inspection added 4 new tires to a total cost of over $2000. Well this week Ive dished out over $1000 to have all my bushings replaced as well as both front wheel bearing hubs. There is no way possible that all of these problems were caused in less than a year only traveling back and forth from home to work. WILL NOT EVER RETURN. AND WILL NOT EVER RECCOMEND.
Swapped out my tires with tires that I’ve already had, added weights to balance them the weights were rubbing on the caliper drove off the lot turn back around to get them to move the weights so they would not rub on the calipers they said we would have to wait because they had other customers a head of us. we are the customer!! very poor service very poor it says fast and friendly, I don’t think so !!!It took them a full day just to do that job I picked it up the next day unbelievableWarning warning warningtry going somewhere else first if you can !!!!
Friendly staff. Great service. Reasonable prices.
Highly recommend! Extremely nice, helpful employees. Top notch work and prices are very reasonable.
Based on the past 2 visits to Aide Tire, July 16 and yesterday August 6th, I would highly recommend no one ever have their vehicle serviced at Aide Tire. I suspect the State Inspection violations would be sufficient to have their license pulled and revoked.
I had them misdiagnosis a problem with my vehicle. Now these guys are super nice and I really like them, but they really badly misdiagnosed the issue. Had a buddy of mine look at it afterwords and he said that I needed my vehicle to be fixed immediately, so I took it to a different mechanic in town.
They are fast, honest and very knowledgeable. I go to this place often. One of my favorites.
They have excellent customer service.
Great place with honest knowledgeable staff.
Great personal service.
I took my vehicles here long enough to know that I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Price estimates were always high, and the customer service is below average. The kicker for me was when they broke the sunroof on my car, then refused to acknowledge they did it. What I brought it in for had nothing to do with the sunroof. It wasnt to be touched and was working fine. Learned enough lessons and havent been back since.
Needed a quick inspection on Granddaughters car. She came in for the weekend from college. They did the inspection in the promised time and we were very pleased. I w oi ykd recommend them for all auto services.
Guys good to work with great staff
Visited AID Tire and Auto Repair a few weeks ago. They told us they were busy, that was fine. We just needed to get our car looked at due to a grinding noise that was coming from the front of the car. After a day, they call and inform us that 1. The car is fine and that the cause of the sound was a belt (belts dont make grinding noises but fine) 2. The AC Compressor was bad (knew that, didnt need a auto shop to inform me the AC wasnt working in 90 degree weather. 3. The total would be $2000. We decided no, we arent paying that much, especially during the pandemic where work has been all over the place. I knew how to make those repairs myself, but knew none of those were causing the sounds. A few weeks (about 2) go by and my wife calls me in a panic, Our brakes just failed. I immediately rush to check that everything is okay, and lo and behold, the brake pad completely came out of the car, had no pads left on it. (We had just bought the car from a dealer and part of the purchase was that the brakes would be fixed before purchasing.) We nearly had an accident on our hands because AID couldnt do the simple process of actually checking the car.... Did they just open the door, turn on the car and say, yup its hot in here and then decide it was the AC? I didnt ask for a fix to a squeak. I specifically stated it was a metal on metal grinding noise. I am beyond disappointed. Our 3 year old son could have been in that car and we could have had a serious accident all because of their negligence to check the car out when we brought it to them.Please. If you are looking to keep you or your family safe do NOT go here. They dont care to take the time to truly diagnose a problem. My cousin who is a mechanic was able to diagnose what was wrong over a 15 minute facetime.
Looking for trustworthy establishment to work on your vehicles, look no further. Aid tire and auto is the place to go. Best place in the Lynchburg area, if you ask me. Time and time again they have done a fantastic job for us, and most times charged less than quoted. They wont put the screws to you like the other guys, who tell you all the stuff you need, when you really dont. Trust me, and trust them!!! And I am not a relative of any one there, I am just a happy customer.
Fast and friendly Thanks Mr Woods!
Very nice helpful good prices and experience mechanics
I love coming here. The staff is nice. The prices are reasonable. Honest, hardworking mechanics!!
They were able to save my tire!
Ive been getting tires and cars inspected here for years and theyve always been fast and fair.
Great service and prices, highly recommend
Very good service. Quick and honest. I would highly recommend them.
My family has taken our cars here for 15+ years and I feel that this company has always been fair and never money-hungry. Most recently my alternator went out and while they could have replaced it and cost me 600+ dollars they found there was a recall on the alternator from Chrysler and that it could be done for free but would need to be taken to a dealership. I would have never known about the recall and to think they could have been an opportunity to make money but instead informed me shows what kind of people they are. Last time I needed new tires to pass state inspection the tires were very reasonable and the labor was so cheap. They only charged me a dollar to redo the inspection. I think they are fair and in business for the right reasons.
Got me in guickly. Got a good quote before work. Fixed my problem quickly ! They were good to me
Always a pleasant experience.
Honest people. Upfront on pricing. Wait time is reasonable!
Nice folks! Been here a couple times and never felt over charged. They have always done good work for me and several other folks that I have recommended AID to. Definitely would recommend to anyone!
Very professional and awesome service. I’d recommend them to anyone
Great crew and great service! I needed last minute help with an inspection and they were glad to help me out before I left town! I was turned away from 3 other bigger shops before calling them! Will definitely be using them from now on!
Not a good experience they make u wait for a hour b4 even looking at your vehicle this 4 everyone. Then try and sell u all this stuff thats wrong with your car. Do what u asked them thats it.
I have used Aid for auto repair for at least 15 years. Thats a lot of interactions. Especially with the age of the vehicles Ive had. Time and again I have found Aids service to be honest, fair, competent, and friendly. Jeff Knight, the service manager must set a good tone there, because my experiences have been very consistent the whole time Ive used them. Its pretty remarkable to be able to say that about an auto repair shop that undoubtedly has different mechanics come and go over the years. They are professional, but they also treat you like a true neighbor, which is probably why I was actually happy for them recently when I heard they would no longer be open on Saturdays, even though I had really liked having that option. The folks in the office, Woody, Tony, Dusty, Vickie, are great to deal with and will help get you in and out as quickly as possible. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
Always good customer service, trustworthy and professional business. They do not discriminate or make anyone feel inferior because of being female coming in to have vehicle serviced. I have been a customer for about 2 years and continue to have a good experience each time that I visit.
As always, great customer service & outstanding work. They always go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy.
I have had 2 wonderful experiences with Aid Tire & Auto Repair Inc. The first incident was when I needed an emergency tire because one of mine had a slit that was not repairable. The staff was very friendly and speedy when it came to getting my car back in motion and letting me get on my way. The second incident was when I wanted to get the remaining tires to match the one I received a few months before. They made sure I was able to get the tires put on within 2 business days of me calling to inquire on the availability. I will definitely be using their services in the future for all tire needs. Plus their location is right near my home, which makes it easy if I have to drop my car off overnight.
Good service, good prices, highly recommend!
The service is great. They are honest people. Very professional. Have been taking our business there for many years.
Great place to have work done to your vehicle. Reasonably quick service and friendly staff.
Aid tire was amazing! After being so stressed out thinking I had to pay almost 600 dollars to get my car fixed I decided to be smart and go for a second opinion! Not only was my cost quoted at a reasonable price, the customer service was awesome! My car drives amazing now! From here on out if I have any other issues I’m going to aid tire on Timberlake! Thank you!!
Friendly service and competitive pricing make AID Tire a great choice for service. I just bought two sets of tires from them and Im pleased with the service. Theyre a full service center.
This is an amazing place and the staff is very helpful and always willing to help with your everyday auto needs. Outstanding staff...
Being able to fill out a service form after hours, leave my vehicle and have it ready the next day is tremendous in our crazy schedule thank you so much. Great honest service every time.
Great mechanic there named T.C. Weekly this man is the best and will be fair and knows his job great asset to this company
Kid friendly staff! My 2 year old loves to pretend hes a mechanic and run! They were great with him! I was also involved in the process of getting tires on my jeep and they were happy to answer any questions I had! A++!
I have been going there for a few years now. They take care of all our vehicles. good people, good prices, excellent service, most honest shop I have ever been to. very efficient to get you back on the road.
The people here are rude! I’m sure there are some nice folks around, but the ones I spoke to were very mean to me. I barely even finished asking a question and one of the guys just gave me a straight up rude response. However this wasn’t the first time. I’ve been there several times and they’ve been rude every time. Either way, not going back! Wouldn’t recommend them.
These guys will get you in and out, always pleased with there service
At AID Auto, you can being in your own oil and then they only charge a small fee for labor for an oil change. All their fees are reasonable.
Switched to this garage from another that couldnt find the problem with my truck and they fixed the problem and did a great job explaining everything to me and the prices are pretty reasonable. Will continue to go back to them until they give me a reason not to. Nice friendly people.
Does a great job, cheaper in cost - Labor. & parts, but. You
Aid tire became our family mechanic when Jeff Knight came over from his previous shop. We always took our cars to Jeff when he worked at his previous shop, so when he moved- we followed. They are good honest people. Sometimes a few of the guys can seem a little rough around the edges but they are great. They will tell you like it is and when it comes to car safety- thats what you want. If you go, ask for Jeff. He is the best and very trustworthy. Weve been taking vehicles to him for 15+ years. I definitely recommend them!
Very honest guys and they do great work
The best Auto Repair and Tire shop Ive found in Lynchburg
Excellent customer service. You cant find a more honest shop. I recommend them anytime someone asks for a place to have work done on their vehicle. Ive never felt this comfortable with a shop.
Excellent service, good pricing. Very professional and reliable service!Has been my only repair / tire shop for over 10 years.
The only place I have ever gotten tires!
Great people, great work and a great price. They even shuttle me back and forth to work, while the work on my car. Fantastic Customer service.
Great & quick service! Very honest and reasonably priced business! Recommend checking them out!
I visited this auto shop 3 times in a month for the same problem. My car engine light continues blinking while I was on a 2-hr trip right after the 2nd time we visited them for a recheck and fix (after replacing 2 ignition coils). I had to stop at another auto shop to let them take a look. That auto shop told me that not only ignition coils but also spark plug need replacing and that if aid auto shop had taken time to remove intake to test furthur, they should have fixed it right at the first time. Not recommend this place!
This was the second time the friendly staff has helped me with a flat. The first time they repaired it reasonably. This time they had the tire I needed and had me back on road in 30 minutes. Good job
Good repair shop. They dont rip you off but sometimes service will take a while because they are very busy.
Needed a tire plugged. Just stopped by, no appointment, and was in and out in 20 minutes. Tire plugged, pressure checked on all the rest and spare. $10. Awesome!
Always very friendly and fairly priced, they are trustworthy.
BTB is always happy with our old neighbor. Honest and reliable, with fair prices!
I would not suggest going to Aid Tires & Auto Repair on a busy day. They will get overwhelmed and lazy. This is because they do not schedule appointments. Its a first come first serve basis. I got a coolant pressure test at Aid Tires & Auto Repair and after a 4 hr wait, they told me I needed my water pump replaced (which is an expensive fix). I then took my car to another auto service place and they told me that they could not find any leak and I had too much coolant in the system.
Complete waste of time. I went in for a simple tire rotation and I saw my car on the lift after 20-25 minutes. Almost 2 hours later my car was waiting for me in the front lot and as Im standing at the front counter they proceeded to help not one but two other costumers while Im standing there asking if I can reluctantly pay them and get out of that crap joint. They are the kind of mechanics that look for problems a little too hard and it will take you an eternity to get your vehicle back. Also asked them to change my headlight and wipers that I had already purchased, they charged me for the bulb that I brought to them and couldnt get the wipers on -- went to ORileys and it took about 2 minutes... very frustrating day I will not be back
I drive from Abingdon to have my car serviced. I trust them and know that they will always do a great job!
Great service always! Very good prices too
Great place to take your car for a quick oil change or more complex repair. Highly recommended.
My personal favorite repair shop in the area. Good prices and nice customer service
Great work. Very competitive prices. Woody is the man
First come first serve. Affordable and reliable
Good work fair price . First come first serve so get there early . Great prices on tires .
Tony Manning go see him hes awsome
I went there to get Statr Inspection but made mistake not changing my tires pre-ordered from Sams. He had to cancel the inspection but I only had to pay 1 dollar to get re-inspection
Always a excellent place. Fair price and great service.
Their tire prices are reasonable and the work was done as promised
Good people....good service....fair pricing....
Great service.. very helpful staff and employees
Straight up lying thieves! I brought my silverado in to have 4 tires put on and an alignment done on September 11th 2017. When I picked up my truck I asked for the printout and they said the mechanic who did that typically leaves them in the car. When I got out to my truck no printout of the alignment. I thought no big deal, they just forgot. I left back for Oklahoma the next morning and the truck drove just is bad, maybe even worse then before. 8k miles later my tires had the same exact wear problem as before. I finally had the cash for another alignment today and brought it in to be fixed and there was no way these thieves even tried to align my truck. The adjustment cam bolts in my upper control arms were so stuck that the shop couldnt even get them to move. I am a heavy equipment mechanic, so I went home and finally got them moving with heat and pb blaster and a ton of grunting. Afterwards I went back and it aligned fine and the truck is finally driving great. Bottom line, There is no way this shop attempted the alignment they had me pay for or these bolts wouldnt have been stuck so bad today. They could have been honest about it, but they chose to lie. Thanks, Aid Tire, for STEALING money from me and my family.
They got me in fast in an emergency situation and were very helpful. Prices are reasonable.
One of the best repair rates and results for the area (2017).
Knowledgeable mechanics and fair pricing...what more can you ask for.
Do not go to them. Charged me way too much and didnt even fix the problem. Guessed on what was wrong instead of really finding out what it was. When I took my car somewhere else for a second opinion they were extremely confused as to why they did what they did. Not happy at all!
They are the best shop because they are the best peopel.
From my FB review in October 3rd, 2013: Aid Tire is the place to take your car.By recommendation I went to Aid Tire this morning. I expressed that I hear a noise at 60 MPH. They took the car for a test drive, letting me tag along so I could ask questions (Im very car curious). They lifted my car to show me the source.I had originally thought I needed my tires balanced; they told me that that would just waste your money, concluding that Id be best off just running on my tires a while longer until the tread wears to the warning markers (choosing to give me advice instead of take the money I would have unknowingly paid).Pointing out an electrical issue Ive noticed, they checked every fuse in my box (and many other things) concluding that Id need diagnostics to finish the job, teaching me the whole way (they were able to fix it, I just didnt care enough). In the end, they sent me away with more car know-how and an un-touched wallet--they charged me nothing for more than an hour of time!I tried to tip them $10 and Lloyd, the mechanic, wouldnt even take it!Ill be back to Aid Tire for sure.
Good family owned business caters to the customer always friendly and helpful
Always get good service and prices are good too,,, have been going to them for years for alignments and tires, great results without any problems
Solid, dependable, reasonably priced auto tires and repair
Very honest and reliable people. Fast service.
If you count ripping people off.
We have been using AID Tire for years, they are honest, fair & have good mechanics. I would recommend them to anyone!
