Thieves. When Randy worked there it was honest and since he left they tried to sell me things my car really didn’t need and then offered me a credit card. Took my car to Randy at Tire Choice on South Dale Mabry. Worth the drive.

I went to Tire Choice to get an oil change and inspection. I went in there thinking I needed some new tires and other items, and expected to pay a lot! They told me that I actually didnt need any of the things I thought I had originally told them. Honesty goes a long way with me and the fact I can go to Tire Choice and not get nickel and dimed is one of the reasons I keep going back.That and they do great work and are very respectful.

Customer service at this location is always top notch. They are very accommodating and friendly.

Marcel was the tires salesperson that took my call. There couldnt be a more patient, knowledgeable guy when it comes to buying tires. I had a lot questions and he answered them all straight, no bs. He looked through a bunch of warehouses and helped me find exactly what tires would fit my needs. Highly recommend speaking to him.

Scheduled an oil change on 10/8/2021 at 5:00 PM for my 2018 Honda Civic. Got there at 5:05 PM and checked out at approximately 6:15 PM. The employee checking me in asking if I wanted Synthetic, which I responded with YES. As I was being checked out, I was told that I was getting an incentive for letting a trainee there practice on my vehicle and also for the wait time---basically I got a free oil change. When I got home I noticed that the sticker on my car and my receipt said the oil was Maxlife High Mileage Motor Oil. My car has 37,000 miles on it...I dont know why on earth anyone would put this type of oil in a vehicle with less than 75,000 miles on it. Its unnecessary and not recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Even though I got a free oil change and this oil most likely wont do any long term damage on my engine, its not at all what I wanted. I wanted full synthetic. The employees were kind, so I gave two stars only for that. Maybe Im partially to blame for not being specific with the FULL synthetic, but I would think this would be common sense for my type of vehicle.

If you’re going for an oil change or tires that great . Now if you need mechanical engine work or anything more complicated than go to a reputable dealer. No need to get back after having work done to have it checked again. Not once, but a few times and it’s terrible when the boss doesn’t know that your car has been there overnight and no need me every all’s you to let you know the problem. I have to call them to find out what’s going ing on . And on top of this, I get a quote for three things and have two done and the changes were more then for three items, really . I’m done with this place 👎👎👎👎👎👎

I was skeptical when I saw an automotive shop with that high of a rating, but story checks out! They are personable, professional and honest. When I thought they might have pulled a fast one and called to question it, the manager quickly asked me to come back in so that he could make it right and he did. My 22 year old daughter has been in here by herself and they repaired only what was needed and didnt give her any hard sells on optional services. They have a customer for life!

Horrible service, they wanted to charge $135 for an oil change and gave my a “discount” so it ended up costing $110. I was shocked at the price and the guy at the front told me I knew how much I was paying since I signed the paper, but the total was covered. I’ve always gone to the tire choice on Dale Mabry and have never spent more than $60 for an oil change. Never again will I go there.

I have been going to this location for about three years now getting oil changes and tires and now the prices are very inflated charging shop fees of almost $15 for a $60 oil change it’s a tad extreme in my opinion I will never take another car back to this place I feel like they are on a total cash grab and taking advantage of customers. Not to mention I feel the managers are extremely unprofessional and confrontational.

It’s sad to say, but this place went from being great when it first opened to absolute garbage with the newest owners or changes in management. Only go if absolutely necessary. Terrible customer service. Just signing in took over half hour bc staff couldn’t use the computer. Mixed up several cars and called us with incorrect info. Get a second opinion prior to doing anything here.

Mike and his team are great. We had a triple threat on our family vehicle; wear on all old tires and one had recently collected a galvanized wood screw.Though they were booked, we were able to leave it there in the morning. It wasn’t until later in the day it was able to be worked on, but they got all four tires, full alignment, oil change, and all of the worked checked out in under two hours (they still had another car in the bay being finished).My wife is the primary driver, generally with our toddler in back. She drove it home and was very happy to have the drift gone and the ride smoother than it was before.

Steve always does a double check, he has quality mechanics, which in this day and age is not an easy task to maintain. I have five automobiles, that require attention monthly. I have entrusted Steve and his team, located at Shoppes at Sunlake Centrre since 2013, so should you.

Always horrible customer service. Rude!Waited on them to open today, went in once he opened the door (after 7:30). I was 2nd in line and another person behind me. The guy behind the counter is huffing and puffing around, short answers to the customer at the counter. After waiting a few minutes the worker just yells out to the 3 of us Does everyone have an appointment? If you dont have an appointment I wont be able to help you. I have over 40 cars to do!He started going back and forth with an elderly lady behind me, so I walked out. Every time I try to give that store another chance they fail.

Went in with a need to replace one of my tires. It’s a special tire they have to order & literally arrived 2 hours later. Which they then replaced so quickly I was not expecting it to get fixed that quickly & feel so much secure about driving, so thank you! Brandon who was very friendly & very knowledgeable helped me the whole way & called me as soon as the tire arrived. He was AWESOME and because of that awesome customer service I will now be transferring to this location with all of my car needs.

Steven & Mack were awesome. I called after not being ablw to make an online appointment & Mack told me to just bring it in. When I got there, he greeted me as the phone ringing, answered and put them on hold giving me his undivided attention. I explained the issue and he said theyd pull it in to take a look. After 30 minutes, they pulled my car in & 15 minutes later, Steven came out and told me everything that was wrong & how he fixed it. Customer service & competency of employees are a rarity in this day and age. The way certain parts of our society are reacting to the most simplest things to make everyone safe can be disheartening & question our idea of taking care of one another. Those 2 guys & the entire TEAM here should be commended for all they do o take care of us. God bless you both.

Poor time management. Showed up and checked in 30mins before my appointment time and the shop still working on the previous appointments per front clerk. It took 3hrs past appointment time just to get a front wheel alignment. No coffee available too!

We brought our car here for a leaky tire and realized we had multiple tire issues. I’m not a complete novice about cars and tires, we were not “up sold” in any way, but ended up with all new tires and some very satisfied customers. Car feels much better than before we took it in! Shop seemed to genuinely care about us and the community around the shop, they definitely did the right thing for us.

About a month ago I spent $1000 here for brakes, tires, battery, tune up on an older Corolla to give to my son. Last week he was having a stereo system put in and we say a Walmart Battery dated 2015 in the car. I called Adam Westfall the manager there and explained the situation. He was a complete gentleman and apologized over and over and said get the car here asap. Went today and they kindly replaced the battery and found an additional issue they fixed complimentary. Very stand up and honest people here. No arguments no defensive attitude, just an old fashioned apology and lets make it right. Hats off to some old school people still around!! Thank you Adam!!

Took in my truck for oil change and standard service. All 4 of my tires were 15 PSI below when I returned home, tires were not rotated, the service man texted me a picture of my battery stating it was below charge but I was unable to read numbers on battery in picture. He also mentioned checking my rotors but stated he didn’t go into detail since I didn’t want to buy a $250 battery from him. I didn’t ask for any extra checks, only an oil change and standard service. Every time I’ve come here for a service they seem to find something unrelated wrong. When I take the car home and check it out myself, the simple service asked and paid for wasn’t even done and the extra stuff “wrong” with my truck is not seen. I will not ever be returning.

Outstanding service, highly recommend!

I have been using this center for all my car needs since I moved out here a year ago and it has always been easy to schedule any service with them. They always guide me and give details about what is going on with my Rav4 and what to look out for in the future!By doing this they definitely do not seem pushy in trying to get additional sales based on their evaluation of the vehicle, but recommend you work on these things individually as needed.

My car randomly started shaking violently while on my way to my friend’s house, and I wanted to pull over just to give my car a break. Right where I turned, tire choice was right there. I’m glad I decided to park and walk in and let them look at it. It was Saturday morning and they were able to fit me in with a wait, but it was to be expected. Michael and the other mechanics were so nice and welcoming. Even though I don’t live near this tire choice, I plan on coming here again for my auto service needs. Thank you guys!

Nice people. Fixed my tire in a timely fashion without an appointment. Completed a free inspection that pointed out areas that may need attention in the near future. Ill go back again.Went back for an alignment recently and received more of the same from the guys there. They got me in quickly, as they said they would. They completed the alignment in the time they said it would take. The charge was reasonable, and they didnt try to sell me any repairs I didnt need. They are quickly becoming my go to guys for routine maintenance.

Beyond excellent service from start to finish and very honest with making any recommendations. I went in to Tire Choice in Lutz and told them that I needed a full set of four new tires after comparing the prices of several local shops beforehand as I knew the front two tires were completely done and that one of the rear tires had a nail in it so I figured it would be best to just get an entire new set of four tires and I was fully planning on paying for such and ready to do so. However, the manager Steve instead told me that I really only needed two new tires for the front and that the two rear tires actually were still good and that rather than replacing those two rear tires that they could actually just patch the nail puncture in the one rear tire and save me the additional cost of unnecessarily replacing the two rear tires as well when he easily could have just let me pay for four new tires as I originally requested regardless of whether he thought I actually needed them all or not as Im sure most other shops would have done for sure.

The management is great! So kind and informative. I have been bringing both of my vehicles here since they opened and have had no problems. I have been using Tire Choice sence 2014. They are the only ones to work on my car. From tire repair, replacement to oil changes to brake adjustments they have always watched out for me and my cars needs.They wont sell you anything you dont need so if they tell you need something done on your car, you need it done.From the service manager to the guys who service my car, I always feel confident my cars going to be taken care of properly.

I originally had given a 5 star review (due to being pressured by the shop manager on the spot), but after my only 2 visits I have decided that 1 star is more accurate. The first time I was there to get all new tires, and I had to ask for my wheel center caps back because they had not been put on after the tires had been changed. I considered this an honest mistake, which would have been completely find had I not had to take my car again to have the new tires balanced. Apparently, this was not done correctly the first time. My second visit was to have a CV axle replaced. I did not have an appointment for this visit, but was not told it would take 8 hours. In fact, we were told that my car would be done sometime in the afternoon. I got my car back at around 7pm, we left my car there around 11am. The day after the work was done, I noticed a bunch of black smudges on various parts of my car. Ive included some photos of the worst ones but these were not the only ones. I know these were not me because I just had the car detailed a few weeks ago. The price for the work is fair but the quality of the work is not up to par.

My car broke down in the publix parking lot so I called my dad and he said it’s probably the relay (which he has now fixed the day after we got it back to our house) so we pushed it over and left it for the night, called them in the morning asking for a inspection to see what the problem was, informing them it was the most likely the relay. The next day I came into pay they told me it was some “mysterious electrical problem” and then I paid 48$ for them to tear out and sloppy put back the interior of my car and to steal my phone holder. I’ll never come back to this place and wouldnt recommend stopping here either.
