Came here for 4 new tires on my truck. They were able to order the tires I needed and schedule me to have them installed in less than a week. Great communication and quick service. Will recommend this place for anyone needing tires in the future.

This is an awesome shop. The folks are friendly, efficient and customer oriented. They have a very clean shop, a great waiting area with coffee and snacks and most importantly they take the time to explain your repair options. This is the best example of personalized service from a family owned business. The price was fair and reasonable. What an impressive operation.

A little lengthy review but all is true. Heres the warm up.. Wife and i were headed up from St. Pete to camp in Georgia and South Carolina for our anniversary. Towing 5th wheel, blow out on the Tampa side on Howard Franklin Bridge. Had a spare and with the help of the Road Ranger (who was extremely helpful) got me back on the road fairly quickly. I wanted to get the blown tire fixed in case another tire blew on our trip. Called The General, the RV center, no tires that size. Called Lazy Days, and a Firestone, no luck. Now we are in Tampa and wife Googles tires and Big Tires comes up. Gave them a call, told them what I needed, they had it, so we are on our way. Then I ask if there is room for a camper as I am towing a 36 5th wheel, they say yup, there is a grass lot next door.We arrive and just as they said, big lot next door, parking was a breeze. Go inside and get set up, young guy comes out and grabs the blown tire and gets to work. Not long after, owner Dave appears and is looking at the camper and the tire getting repaired. He thought the tire looked a little undersized for my rig. He walks over to the camper and inspects the remaining tires, including crawling underneath to get a good look. Asks about the camper weight, tells me he does not like the shape of the remaining tires. Now they are 18 months old, but he easily points out cracking, bubbling, even one tire where the tread had started to separate from the sidewall. We talk tires and he suggests I go up to a beefier tire. In no way was he doing the hard sale, and the more rugged tires were only a few dollars more. I trusted his call. He does not have them in stock but tire guy will deliver them tomorrow by 9am.So now I mention about finding a local campsite for the night and before I can google what is around and make a phone call, he asks if I just want to stay in his parking lot for the night. Tires will be delivered in the morning and hell have me on my way within an hour. My wife is easy going, we take him up on his overly generous offer. There are a few vehicles on his lot that were there for service, some of them not working. He and his crew had to push some of them around to make room for my rig.We get set up, Dave offers me 110V and water. I have a generator so we were good on power but used his water hookup for bathroom purposes. It is about closing time now, Dave hangs around for a bit after hours just to make sure we were all set.Next morning he and his crew start arriving around 6:30am. I make b-fast, and as promised, tire delivery guy gets there about 8;45. His guys get the truck unloaded, and start replacing my tires. They were removed, replaced, balanced and installed by 9:40. These guys are on their A game. I am not a tire guru, but one look you can tell these new tires are worth the extra few bucks. I am extremely pleased, and can tell they are way more durable.I dealt with Dave and 3 of his crew members. Everyone was overly professional, courteous and friendly. Dave runs a great business and his crew exemplifies his leadership. I live in St. Pete and if myself or anyone in my family needs tires, we are driving to Lutz. Thank you guys, I appreciate the fantastic service and generosity you provided.Oh, Ill give 5 stars to the Big Tires and More campground. Large sites, peaceful and we had the whole place to ourselves!

They were extremely helpful and accommodating when I had driver window issues. They immediately started getting pricing options for me that were in my budget dealing with parts. I’m so glad that they are there and the peace of mind they give me because of their honesty.

Had a tire that had a screw in it. Got me in super quick and performed work quick. Patched tire for great price and didn’t try to upsell.Have used multiple times and will definitely use again.

Told me i needed an alignment, in the past i have experianced tred separation at high milage. Told them to check ? Guess what ? They say still the Alignment. Went down the road to another store, whatched the wheel and tire come off------------- aaaaaannndd. H. U. G. E !!!!! Bubble in the center of the tire. So. If they did what they said they did how could they possibly. N. O. T. See the tread separation ? On the rackYou spin the tire you will see the vally in the tire. Sooooo. Theres my opinion.

I have mobility issues. Had a completely dead battery. Called Dave and he told me to bring it right up at my earliest convenience. I did and from the moment he opened the door to enter and then as I left...I received quality, professional, courteous and prompt service. I highly recommend Dave and Pete and their service staff for any repair or tire replacement. He fair and honest! Thanks again.

My new tires were ordered on Monday afternoon, arrived to the shop on Thursday and Dave Baute got me into the shop 1st thing Friday morning at 7am when they opened. When I arrived at 7am the shop was already up and running. As soon as I walked into the door Dave had my keys and was getting my truck pulled into the bay. The tires I ordered were a size bigger and everyone I spoke to said they would fit but their might have to be minor trimming. While they were mounting the tires they noticed my headlight out and they found a bad sensor. Dave gave me such a great price I had to have them do the repairs. When my new tires were mounted they took care of me and did an alignment to make sure my truck is running true so I don’t ruin my new tires. After the alignment we checked the truck and in fact the new tires were rubbing. These guys worked on my truck and cut my bumper on both sides so my tires would clear at full turn and wouldn’t rub. They did an amazing job cutting the bumper. My truck looks amazing, it runs and rides like I’m floating on clouds and my bill total blew me away. They killed everyone’s else’s prices, got me in rite away and took care of me like family. If your looking for a do it all wheel & tire shop this is it.

I was sad that Dumas tires closed but figured I would give the new owners a try and I’m glad I did. Dave and Pete are super nice and helpful. I went in for a tire balance and an alignment. I have a lifted F150 with aftermarket tires and my truck was shaking really badly above 70-75mph. Today I pushed it to 85-90 just to see and NO SHAKING! Pete was saying they just updated their alignment machine to do a faster and more accurate job, and I am super happy with the results. 5 stars.

I had needed to get 4 new tires. I discussed with the young lady at the desk who was pleasant enough . I had asked her what the out the door price would have then for the price of the tires which she had quoted me. I had figured that the price she gave included an alignment for the $700 purchase that I was going to be making. I didnt think to ask over the phone if indeed that price included the alignment but I thought that an automotive shop would have inquired to see if the vehicle needed that service. I ordered my tires the day before to give them the time for the tires to get delivered. I made my appointment for Friday which was the next day and when I went in to the shop to have the service done found out that the alignment would have been an extra cost. Despite my frustration I still decided to go with them to perform the service because they were highly recommended to me.The front desk lady who was not pleasant at all and did not hardly acknowledge me in the way that someone should for good customer service stated that I would have to make an additional appointment to come back and get the alignment if I wanted it.I decided against it being as though I did not want to give them any additional money because of this confusion. After the tires had been installed and I was picking up my car I walked around and notice that 3 of the 4 tires were identical but one install tire was an off brand! Im still deciding on if that was an ordering issue or a delivery issue but either way the mechanic who worked on it should have noticed it. When I had informed them of their mistake she said that I would have to wait until Monday to get the correct tire. I informed heard that that would be a huge inconvenience and when asked if they could somehow compensate me for their error she flat out refused. I would have thought that she could have thrown in an alignment for free because of this inconvenience. I have a vehicle That I would have continued to come back to them to have service done but now because of this they have lost a customer!

Better prices on tires than pep boys. Oil change was cheaper to. Ill be there again

Came here to get new off-road tires on my jeep jk. Sometimes these big tires can be hard to balance, but the team at big tires spent a lot of time ensuring they were done properly as I am embarking on a road trip across the country. Too bad I dont live in the area to come back for repeat business. Highly recommend!

My excellent mechanic recommended Dumas for my alignment.It was around $85, which is totally reasonable for a quality alignment.They have a recently calibrated laser alignment system, which means a higher accuracy and better alignment.I recommend Dumas highly for alignment work.

Located on US-41 in Lutz, Dumas Tire Pros is THE BEST place to take your car for a variety of preventative and problems with your car.I’ve had my oil changed there for the last 10 years, and they always check more than places that do nothing but oil changes. It normally takes s week to get an appointment just to have your oil changed; however, they are always available to repair your tire within a few minutes or if you need something done immediately, safety always is their first concern. I love the people at Dumas and am always satisfied with their price and their work!

This was my second time coming here. The first I had broken threader (used for patching tires) sticking out of my tire. I brought it in while in a rush for work. They looked it over, said the tire was fine, didnt need a patch or anything and charged me nothing. The second time I came in needing new break pads, rotors, a rear caliper, and had a nail in my tire. Dropped it off around 3:30-4 (they close at 5) and they called me the next day around 8:30 a.m to let me know it was done. They were friendly, polite, and showed that they cared. I Highly recommend Dumas! And they didnt even charge me for the patch in my tire!

This place is really Tampas best kept secret! I must have been to just about every tire shop for the longest time, including dealerships telling me they cant fix Pirellis and just to buy new tires even with low mileage, these other places said they couldnt fix it and to just buy a new tire. Surprise! Dumas came through for me! I first read about them on the internet thinking something wasnt right with all the other places saying they cant fix them and just buy a new tire! These people not only fix the tire, but have extremely reasonable prices! They said I had not one, but four nails in the tire! These people really know about tires, and whether its my Pirelli tires, or any other brand, what a relief it was to find Dumas! Thank you for being there for me! Youre awesome! 😂🚗

Wife was here to check on a tire that had a nail. Tire was checked and found out nail did not cause any damage. They did not charge her for checking. Honest people in this industry is well appreciated. They won a customer for the future, would not go any other place.

I dropped off my sons car with an alternator light on and low battery. They wouldnt look at it until I replaced the battery, so I jumped it and took it down the street to replace the alternator. Problem fixed, same battery. Dumas wouldnt even put a charge on it and stood there watching me jump it before I drove off. This is the second time doing business with them and both times the lady at the front desk (presumably owner) was argumentative, rushed and unconcerned. As a big supporter of small business I gave them two chances. Bennys auto down the street isnt as big as them, but has always come through on customer service. Im very disappointed with Dumas and I dont think Ill be able to trust them again. I dont recommend.

Maybe just a bad day for the miserable secretary/ front desk lady but the lady at the front desk seemed to not want my business for new brakes as soon as I walked in. When I walked in she seemed annoyed and I had to acknowledge her first! WOW! When I told her about my brakes. She let me know they were a man short and that they might not get it done today because they are soooooooo busy but maybe so I would have to wait until possibly Monday without a car but maybe they could do it. NO PROBLEM! I said ok and was going to leave it but the fact that she had no care, seemed bothered by me or just lacked the basic customer service skills you should have at any place of business made me go back in and let her know that I would like my keys back to go to another place. As she got up from her desk, annoyed again, she seemed to be glad to lose my business mumbling something under her breath. I am sure the owner would have been happy. I would have left it but the fact that she didnt care one way or another I took my business somewhere else. I simply went down the road to a corporate place( PEP Boys in Lutz read my review on this place). I always try to go to family owned businesses to help our local community but with customer service like that I will never go back to Dumas again.

I came here to have my tires mounted and balanced, what I recived was scratched wheels and a car that shakes at 60 mph. This is one of the least professional places I have ever been, they have signs saying that they are not responsible for damaging wheels or tires, basically guaranteeing that they will scratch them. I honestly have no idea how places like this stay in business with this kind of work.
