I was not met by a pack of wolves in the parking lot. Instead I was met in the lobby by one of the managers and he introduced me to my salesman. He treated me very nicely and listened to what my needs were. I told him I wasn’t in a hurry, and so therefore he wasn’t in a hurry. We chatted and talked about life and also had a few laughs along the way. But mostly he listened to what my desires were for a new vehicle and we came to an agreement. Not one time was he pushy or impatient. I will definitely be back to purchase another vehicle one day.

The service team itself was great! Cody was excellent and kept me up to speed on what was happening with my vehicle. Unfortunately, the front desk service staff was incredibly rude. When I initially called to check the status of my vehicle, I was told they would call me right back after they checked with Cody. I did not hear anything for an hour and when I called back, the front desk staff said “I just called and told you they had to order a transmission, did you already forget that conversation?” My vehicle was there for an oil change and I had not received a call, regardless. While I appreciate the kindness of the service staff, the rude desk staff ruined my experience at the dealership.

I visited McGavock Nissan service department a few weeks back for my very first oil change and an issue with my passenger window not rolling up, unfortunately I cannot say I would recommend the service department for anyone that has an option to use another service department.I set up my initial appointment online and about 4-5 days before my actual appointment. While setting up the appointment there was a space to input any other issues I may be having with my New truck, so I included the issue with my passenger window.Upon arriving to my appointment I was disappointed because it seemed they where completely unaware of the issue with my window and they had no idea that I was still under my factory warranty and also that I pay for the extended warranty through Nissan to cover any future issues as well as pay for my oil changes. It was as if setting my appointment far ahead of time was pointless as I had to go over all of this again when I showed up at my scheduled time.Ultimately I didn’t get my new truck back for nearly two weeks. I got my truck back one day before a full two weeks to figure out why my passenger window would not roll up.Throughout the process I did receive updates but I was told over and over that they would have to order a part and see if it works. Then I was told they can’t figure out what’s wrong so they had to get in touch with Nissan engineers to figure out my issue. The entire time I felt more and more like the people at this Nissan dealership where not mechanics and where just following directions from wherever these engineers where. After the first week I felt like I just left my new truck with a bunch of amateurs and didn’t know what or when I would get back from them.I will give them credit as far as being polite and responsive to the handful of times I had to call them for an update, everyone was very nice and friendly but when it came to getting actual results from the service department I was very disappointed. I feel even worse about the situation because they are my local dealership where I pay extra for an extended warranty so I feel trapped when it comes to any future service appointments. Very different experience from when I actually bought the truck.

I bought a car with the help of Kendall Smith this last Saturday! This was hands down the best experience I have ever had with a dealership. I didnt feel pressured or rushed into anything. Mr. Kendall made sure I saw various vehicles even though he got me what I was looking for spot on. Everyone was friendly and made sure I understood all my options before signing. Came in with no appointment to have my truck serviced. They acted like I was their best customer (this was a first time visit for service). Everyone I saw spoke and was friendly. Had a nice clean waiting area with a snack bar. Was quicker than I expected. Kept me informed and recommended air filter changes. Just an excellent experience. Will definitely be back!

It was about what I expected from a car dealership, nothing less, but definitely nothing more. The salesman, Patrick was fantastic! He was helpful and answered all of our questions. HOWEVER, it appeared his hands were tied by upper management. Even though I bought 2, yes 2, brand new Nissan Kicks that day, they did allow him to budge 1 penny from the window sticker price. Also, although my credit rating was excellent (above 790), they would not give me the manufacturer advertised 1.9% for 60 months. They said the best they could do was 3.99% for 72 months in-house financing. Obiviously that was to get more money/interest from my loan. They would not even throw in 1 free set of rubber floor mats for just ONE of the cars!!!Again, about what you would expect from a car dealership, no different from any of the rest, and they did not try to stand out or go above and beyond.

Went to have my vehicle serviced. When I picked it up, it had been vacuumed out. Plastic in seats and floorboards covered with paper. I felt like they really cared about keeping my new vehicle clean. When I got home I noticed an oil leak(very small) in the garage. I called and they immediately brought it back and moved it to the front of the line. They fixed it and ensured the oil didn’t need to be topped off. Explained what happened to me, crush washer was split… and replaced the washer. Very apologetic that they didn’t notice it before we left. They have amazing customer service and have won over a customer for life. Great Job!

I went in to get my car maintain and to have my key button looked at and my front left tire was low. They done everything and stated that they fixed my key button which I had been having working and not working for around 1 1/2 years. I like that they wash and vacuum the car when you bring it in.

Usually have a good experience here hopefully this was a rare event, made appointment a week and a half prior online to get my oil changed, look at an issue on the door panel that I didn’t notice until a week after the purchase, tire rotation and a recall listed on the website.Made appointment for 8:00am,Seems the fact that I made an appointment had no bearing on anything,Waited 2 hours which was understandable being it was busy, truck was supposedly ready, however the oil was not changed, I told the attendant I was heading out of town and needed it changed, he apologized, said they would get it done, an hour passed, checked outside my vehicle still not in the oil change area, waited another half hour now my attendant is there eating his lunch meanwhile we’ve been there for 4 hours my wife is starving since we haven’t eaten, I finally ask him if my truck is close to getting the oil changed, he immediately gets up and to his credit he says I’ll get them to do yours next but I thought he referenced that an hour and a half ago, at twelve thirty we finally got outta there I asked the attendant if it mattered that we had the VIP Advantage and ultimate platinum plans we payed a good amount of money for he told us it didn’t matter, by the way our tires did not get rotated but at this point we were ready to get out of there,I’m not usually critical of things like this unless I feel like we were dismissed, I bought two trucks from here and never had any problems, my wife made a comment when one of your sales people walked by telling a potential buyer how great a service department this was and it may very well be like I said no issues before but at least for us this day not what we expected,In hindsight I wish I knew making an appointment online with what I needed made no difference,Thanks,

Good dealership, Zach started the transaction and Logan was able to seal the deal rapidly and we got the 2021 rogue SL by the whiskers, another family was on it too but thank God we got it. Nice and welcoming atmosphere at the McGavock dealership and we are glad we added all the perks to our purchase, the bumper-bumper extended warranty and the maintenance. Overall we are happy with the deal. I would have loved some kind of discount from the original price but we didnt get any so 4 stars.

Our 2019 Altima had the check engine light come on late Friday afternoon, so I called early Saturday to schedule service. I was able to get an appointment for Tuesday morning to coincide with an appointment we had in Lubbock. We arrived Tuesday morning shortly after 8AM, they had the car diagnosed, part replaced, car washed, vacuumed, and we were back on our way before 10AM. Service Staff was exceptional, as usual, a stress-free environment, clean and comfortable waiting area. McGavock Nissan is an hour and a half drive from our home, but worth it.We highly recommend McGavock Nissan for “all” your service needs. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

I bought a used car a little over a year ago and waited to post a review so that I could be more objective. To make a long story short, they didnt spell my name properly on the registration, and twice have claimed to fix it but it is still not fixed, so Ill foot the bill for that mistake. The inside was a mess, and they claimed they would clean it out before the sale, but that also didnt happen and I had to clean it out myself. Driving off the lot the gas tank was just above empty so I had to immediately fill it at a gas station. The biggest issue was the fact that it flat out had the wrong battery that was not only the wrong values for the car, but was straight up too small for the vehicle and rattled around in the engine compartment leading to a bunch of electric issues (all of which were fixed when the correct batter was put in). I know it was the dealership that put the battery in because I bought a used toyota from them but the battery I had to remove immediately after purchasing the vehicle from them was a Nissan Dealership battery. Additionally the alignment and balancing had to be fixed immediately after purchase. Horrible maintenance and customer service. Buy a used car from anywhere else.

Thai is my third vehicle I bought this year from Chris and Will’s help. It was again to no surprise a wonderful experience, they are always quick and straight to the point! I always walk away happy with the purchase and the price of the vehicle that we ended up with. I have recommended them to my daughter and my father who have both also bought cars from Chris. Below my expectations. My vehicle was too big to fit through the complimentary car wash and they didnt even offer to at least vacuum it. I purchased the extended service plan and was told these two perks would be included but they arent!

My first visit was really bad. I met Salesman Logan Anderson and he tried to get us the deal we offered for a new vehicle. Logan brought the manager out and the manager tried to charge me MSRP for a new vehicle even with a trade-in that was worth at least 4,000 more than we still owed on the vehicle.The second time I came I spoke with Salesman Chris and asked him not to include the manager with our dealings. Chris was professional and polite and even spoke with the owner of the establishment to work out the best deal they could offer. Chris and I made a deal and I was very thankful that he did what even the manager didn’t try to do.I don’t remember the manager’s name but he tried to guilt trip us into the bad deal by talking about how “horrible” the auto dealership was colony is these days and how his salesmen are trying to keep their jobs, etc. I’m sorry but it’s very unprofessional to try to make a sale by guilt tripping your customers.Chris is the reason why I would return in the future to do business with McGavock.
