Totally unexpected!! I was not even planning on trading vehicles, plan was to just sell my truck outright because there was zero inventory to look at.... made one last phone call to Frank Brown GMC, JR Gilvin is who I spoke with, he mentioned that they had something similar to what I wanted....made the drive and ended up trading with them....love my new pickup, JR did a great job working with me during, and after the sale!!!!

We called to look at the 2022 Honda Pilot Black Edition we saw on the website, and the salesperson named Dee called me and said it’s available and we could look at it “in the afternoon” the next day because “the owners wife is currently driving that vehicle”. Uh, weird but ok - that should’ve been my first clue something wasn’t right. We made the drive from Clovis (2 hours with a toddler) to look at the car, only to be told upon arrival that they actually don’t have that vehicle and it’s already been sold. Frustrated is an understatement. Clearly she didn’t listen to a word I said, even after I confirmed several times which vehicle we were interested in. She had been communicating with me via text for when we would arrive at the dealership and when we were 5 mins away, she mysteriously had to leave so we were given a new salesperson. The trip wasn’t a complete waste of time, as they did have an Elite version in stock that we ended up purchasing, and the experience with the new salesperson we got, Phil, was relatively easy and he was very knowledgeable. The finance gentleman was also a pleasure to work with. I would’ve given them 5 stars if it wasn’t for Dee and her complete lack of listening/respect for our time.
Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly personnel. Came in for annual inspection and tech found a problem with an oil filter leak I didnt know about. He resolved the issue and cleaned the engine compartment. Great service. Im pleased to have purchased my GMC pickup at Frank Brown GMC.

I called looking for a truck. They would not work with me at all and Kienan Beasley was my salesman. He pretty much said that because I was not sitting in front of them, they were not motivated to work with me. They also offered $5,000 less for my trade than all of the other dealerships in the area and offered similar discounts.

Buyer beware. Bought a truck sight unseen, trusting the dealerships and salesmans description. Received truck and found out it had over 3000 dollars of hail damage. Manager said sorry you bought it that way. Not disclosing hail damage??? Salesman great, manager was unprofessional. They got me this time. Dont trust them to do right thinge just because they are GMC dealership.

I took my care in for a recall for passenger airbag. I got it back with a broken airvent. I then called to notify them of the damage. I spoke with Sammy Perez and he was exceptionally rude and demeaning. He has horrible customer service. I will never go there again after the poor customer service.
I was able to get my oil change and get my new license plates attached. Online scheduling was nice. Work was done in the specified time frame.

After going to multiple dealerships, Frank Brown GMC came through. Although I had to go to the dealership to fix the same issues multiple times, they provided me with excellent customer service each time and continued to look at different avenues to get the job done. Also, the service manager is very honest and provided me with a lot of information.

The past two years Ive been looking to purchase a new truck. I decided to go ahead and make the purchase this week, much in part due to my salesman, Caleb McNair. He was honest, trustworthy, and actually the reason I finally made my purchase this week.
In this modern day and age, youd think HONESTY would be a common virtue, but not here. If youre going to list a vehicle dont be afraid to show its imperfections, like hail damage, tires worn to the point where you know it needs a major wheel alignment adjustment, or damaged interior. A lot of the discrepancies I just mentioned, are probably what youd find acceptable from a public car auction, but thats what I found here at Frank Brown GMC. Something else Id like to mention is the trade in cut that the dealer gets. Say for example a vehicle was traded in, the family that traded in said vehicle probably only got $3,500 from the dealership towards their next car purchase. The dealer will then turn around and sale that vehicle for $8,000 - $9,000, flipping a profit of over $5,000. The vehicle was listed for $10,000 but lowered the price to $6,900, they had the audacity to say the vehicle has been on the lot for a few weeks longer than what they expected, rather then the honest truth that no one wants to pay that price for a vehicle with that many miles, and that much damage.
Terrible service department. Manager was very rude! Car still isn’t fixed. I asked the manager to give me a call it’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything.
If you have 1.5 hours to wait for an oil change, with an appointment, and like resetting your own oil life %, this place is for you.
Added the Towing package to my Acadia 2020. Got great information about it before I had it put on. They were good on their quote price. Scheduled me immediately. Got great service. All reps I dealt with were very professional, friendly, and ready to address my concerns. Great Experience!!!

With everything that is going on in this world, I wanted to trade with a family owned business. Previously had service work performed there with minor complaints like service rep not providing timely updates or returning my phone calls. After two days of consideration and organizing financing to enable a seamless purchase, this morning I sent a text to the salesman, Tyson Hall, to ensure he would be there to finalize the transaction. I arrived the dealership about 10:30 am, Tyson met me and we proceeded to his sales managers office where we met with Steve to get the purchase process started. I gave Steve my financial institution’s information so the paperwork could be processed. My bank was expecting the drafting instructions to avoid delays. As I left Steve’s office with Tyson, Tyson commented that he was taking the vehicle to have it cleaned and ready to go. All paperwork was submitted, signed, and drafting instructions sent to Frank Browns finance office and where they were confirmed received. Expecting the truck to be in make ready for several hours, I went to lunch. I received a text from Tyson saying that someone else was there to buy the truck. I thought he had to be joking, that the deal was done. When I returned to the dealership, I learned that it wasn’t a pre April fool’s joke and that the vehicle was in the process of being sold to someone else. Now, a reasonable person would expect that Frank Brown the smaller profit man would make things right. Wrong! What they did was offer a vehicle that had 2500 miles and different style package for $500.00 less. I will not deal with people that don’t hold up their end of the deal. Sorry Brent, I wanted to do business with you because we have mutual friends and have even met before years ago in Ruidoso. I understand, you will probably respond to this review with the cursory and obligatory I will let our team know they need to do better, which I cannot and will not accept.

I had tried the week before to get my GMC Denali truck in for a oil change and my state inspection. Forgot it was Spring Break week and shop was booked up.I made appt. for the next week.Day finally came around, went in and was greeted by Ronnie Botello. Ronnie took down particulars of needs and truck was checked in. About an hour later it came back around to waiting area all ready to go. Terry inside checked me out and I was ready for another 4 months.Fast service,clean waiting area, friendly folks....great dealership

2.5 years ago we bought a Yukon XL Denali here. In that time we have had issues with the cruise control not working (still doesnt), seat belt not working, AC going out, and automatic step side not working. The response from them has generally been unhelpful. Disappointed with the quality.

Iam disappointed in the service I received from Sammy. July 14th I took my Yukon in for issues with my seat. He was supposed to order the parts. I called 7/24th and he never ordered the parts. The only reason I go to Frank Brown is because of the years of service Mike Brown has given me. He still assisted me when he left and Iam so happy he is back. Frank Brown is so lucky to have a person that deliver such excellent service to his customers. I wish he was back in the service department. You need him running your service department!!! It’s sad though (for me) because I think he is happy working as a used car salesman. I love Mike Brown!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! We got approved for a car for my husband. All we had to do was go down and sign the paperwork. When I get there to do that., they told me they sold it to someone else! I didnt get there fast enough. Everything was done but he signing. They could have held it until the end of the day or something. Now my husband is heart broken. Worst service ever!!!!

Came in around 7:45am to get a oil change,they took care of me and got the job done very quickly..I normally get there around 6:45am to be the first in line,but I have bible study on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 so I took a chance that I didnt have to wait for a long time.

Im glad the Honda service is excellent in Lubbock. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They have taken care of my car carefully, and they even dont ask for money for the small services. Today I felt like its a family company, and Im a member of the family. The only thing I can recommend to them if they wash the cars after each service, that would be awesome.

I had been looking for a truck for a while. I found a ram 1500 and really liked it had everything i wanted so I decided to buy it. Overall im very happy with the truck but after I bought it I got sent away with a empty gas tank, a missing floor mat and no car wash it may not seem like much but sometimes its the small stuff that counts. I would recommend looking elsewhere there customer service could use some improvement

Horrible experience! My truck was in the shop for about a month and kept getting the run around plus it never got fixed! Still charged me $700 but still have the same issue! Dont get your car fixed here!! Asked me if I wanted to trade in my vehicle instead. Plus my watch was stolen out of my console.
I was very happy with the service. It took almost the exact time they told me it would, and the price was less than estimated. The Customer lounge is comfortable. They have a TV, a work table and plenty of chairs. There are restrooms and vending machine available. I will definitely use them again.

This Dealership is the worst I have ever been to. Bought an $80,000 truck and brought it in to get fixed and told me it would only be a couple of hours. Well 4 days later they said it was fixed and told me to come pick it up whenever I could so I came on Saturday and now they said I couldn’t get it. Extremely frustrated and will never buy anything or bring anything here again.
Great experience purchasing a new Honda. Our salesman Phil patiently answered all of our questions and we had a lot! Dylan in finance very thorough explaining contract so there were no unexpected add on fees. In addition Michael the sales manager was also very helpful wrapping everything up.
My husband and I went to see about trading both of our vehicles for different vehicles. The salesman, Ramon, was great. I told him where I wanted our payments and he said he would take it back and see what he could do. We know where our credit stands and know it is very good. The sales manager comes over with him and gives us the (mentioned by another reviewer) attitude like “why are you here?” Because what we wanted on our payments is about $200 lower for the 2 vehicles cumulatively than what he came up with. He didn’t care to look at a longer term or look at anything to help us get into the cars we wanted. We bought from Scoggin Dickey last, and the sales manager, salesman, and finance manager were GREAT and got us exactly what we wanted by looking at all options, not treating us badly. You don’t treat people like that whether you are having a bad day or whatever, if you are in service, that is what you give to your customers SERVICE. He flat didn’t want us buying cars from them. They did not want to give me what my car is worth, I was offered $5,500 more literally 1 month ago in Austin as a trade. It would have been fine for him to come over an try and work something out or even just tell us he didn’t want to look at 84 month terms or whatever, if he didn’t come over and treat me like I was scum with a cocky attitude everything would have been different. We have bought 4 vehicles from Frank Brown, but NEVER AGAIN.
