Ruby to me is a con man.He took almost $1000 from me just changing thermostat today the same thermostat is broken again.I changed a new thermostat November 2020 he charged around $600 dollars,after 1 month I went back again my car was heating he charged me another 200 just to change the horse pipe.Around February 2021 the same thermostat was broken again and he charged me another 200 dollars. today I went to another mechanic the coolant was leaking at the same place Ruby fixed and they have to change everything again.If you take someones money do a good job.I am student and your stealing from me thinking your getting blessing feeding your family with stolen money.Your children will suffer forever.Keep on stealing.TODAY I have to pay another $600 for the shady job that you did.

Girl friend got a trip check here. They helpfully offered to replace her valve cover gasket!!..... with no oil leak.Yeah thanks for the scam but I’m gonna save my money this time.Definitely avoid if you don’t know a lot about cars. They’ll try to work you over.

Ive used Super Tech for all of my trucks issues for the last five years and as long as I live in Lubbock and go to Tech, I will continue to use them. You will not find more honest mechanics! Rudy and Allen are absolutely incredible, and always return my truck to me speedily. They are always so easy to deal with, incredibly kind, and make sure to explain the issue and explain the repairs so that you fully understand charges, etc. I seriously could not sing them enough praises. They have repaired my truck in times when I really thought it would be on its last leg! As I said earlier - as long as I live in Lubbock - they will always have my business, even for minor items such as oil changes.

When in to see if I could get a window motor replaced. Shouldn’t have been more than 200$ labor and part included as it is a fairly easy job, inexpensive part and takes about 45 minutes. Gave me a quote for over 400$. Told me it would be like 35$ to look at it and ended up getting charged about 50$ so 35$ was a lie. Simple YouTube and fixed it within an hour. Simple wires just got tangled upWhen they opened it up to see what was wrong they didn’t even fully put it back together and had parts sliding around at the bottom of car door.Asked how much he was charging for the part alone and it was 230$. Actual cost of part- 70$

Drove my Cutless in, and had too pull it home. Worker didnt help at all. Just stood their watching. Charged me $100 that I didnt get back. I felt robbed.

He charged me $24 for filling my antifreeze up to the fill line yesterday after replacing my water pump. I checked it today and it’s less than half full. I called to see if I could just get my $24 back and he went back and forth with me arguing how it wouldn’t hurt the car and I could go by tomorrow morning to get more antifreeze. I have antifreeze I can put in myself since it seems like you didn’t put any in/there’s still a leak. I don’t live close to here so it would be super inconvenient to just go by for something I can do myself. I just want my $24 back. He laughed at me and said “wouldn’t it be inconvenient to come by and get $24?” I said yes but at least I would get my money back. Just a total piece in my opinion. Also, maybe don’t call my father and tell him I was yelling at you when I wasn’t. Act like an adult next time Rudy and call the person that actually paid you for the service, me, not my father. My car will not be at your shop ever again.

Avoid at all costs if you need an oil change! I probably wouldn’t trust them with anything more. Just like you, I saw the high ratings and decided to take my car in for a SIMPLE ROUTINE oil change. My car started smoking from the hood as soon as I left. Went back no apology, refund, discount, zip nothing! All they had to say was they spilled oil over and that it would eventually go away, they blew it off saying it was normal, but I have NEVER had this happen before and the smoke lasted several days! Had to take it somewhere else. They also stiffed me by adding something they claimed was broken and first said oh it’s only $4 final receipt $16 + oil change! And I truly did not need the part I came to find out. I would go literally anywhere but this place. They will sweet talk you while you wait and they screw up your car, keep a close eye if for whatever reason you decide to stop here.

Great service. I called ahead and they told me to come down to see if they could fit in mounting my front plate and I was in and out in a literal 5 minutes. Id recommend these guys to anyone who want an honest mechanic whose not gonna try to sell you every repair that you dont really need and fix what you need to fixed at a pretty low price.

My car has had issues at least five separate times this year. After my first visit, Rudy remembered my name and was always very accommodating and his service very fast! He even kept a part I purchased for weeks because I was too busy (read: lazy) to take the time to get it installed. All repair prices seem crazy to me but his service and performance makes me feel like Im getting a good deal.

Great people and extremely fast service! I go to Texas Tech but I live 3 hours away. I had a mechanical issue come up that needed to be fixed immediately. My dad was able to find Rudy at supertech and he took my car the day my dad called and had it ready the next day. If I have any trouble with my car I will definitely be going back here!

I had to bring my car for not starting after changing the battery, because the the alarm system. They charged me $96 for 3hrs because they couldnt turn my cars alarm off (after I had told them how to with the car key). Rudy had said he would disable the alarm, since its a 93. Didnt do that either. And the (original) cover for my plugs under the dash in passengers seat wasnt anywhere to be seen afterwards.Not happy and I would never recommend to anyone!

Im surprised. Pleasantly surprised. The air conditioning in my car hasnt worked for about a year now. I did the climate control swap myself, and the system tried so very hard to work, but just couldnt get started. A buddy from work recommended this place, and if it wasnt for that.. after seeing the side of town its on I probably would have skipped it. Dont do that. Dont make that mistake.Rudy was our mechanic today, and upon entering the humble store-front he was all smiles and positive attitude. I felt comfortable handing over my insurance and my keys. He even offered to drop us at a rental place in case I needed a vehicle for the duration of the repair! Turns out, it wasnt even necessary. Rudy took my fiance and I home, and called me every couple of hours with an update on the progress of the fix.Though there were a couple bumps in the road to determining the problem, Rudy was honest with me, upfront about the price, and I have no doubt he was being truthful about the nature of the repair. Im not a car mechanic myself, but I do understand enough to get by. It was a fix I probably could have done myself, but this place was fair on the price, and excellent with the workmanship. I was even reassured that any repair I needed would have the price discussed with me before any work was done.The last time I had to have a repair done, they scratched and scuffed my dash. I was a little concerned coming here. Not this place. They cleaned my dash and took care of my vehicle. When it was time for pickup Rudy picked me up in my car and drove me back to the shop, telling me the entire way what was done and reassuring me that everything else in my vehicle was fine.I will never take my car to another mechanic after this. Rudy is the only one Ill ever see. The fix took less than 5 hours, and I got to wait at home in comfort instead of crunched into the corner of a waiting room. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to them.

Super fast and reasonable prices. I had a leaky transmission valve, and they didnt have it. So they called around until they found one and got me on the road within an hour.

My family and I were driving to Colorado stopped half way on Lubbock when I wrecked into the cement pole at the gas station. The next morning we had to leave, we drove to super tech car clinic and they had us out in less than 45 minutes and back on the road. It was also priced very well.

Went around town searching for an affordable place to get my car fixed (getting quoted $1000 - $2000 to fix my cv axle 😑 due to them charging $110 -$120 an hour and possibly due to me being a female) and literally when I lost all hope I found these guys (Super Tech Car Clinic) ! Not only did these guys quote me a realistic price, greet me with great customer service and contacted me before doing any type of service to my car... but my car was fixed the same day I brought it in! Big thanks to Rudy and the team of mechanics that fixed my car. Honestly never going anywhere else!

REGRET COMING TO THIS PLACE!!!!My car was overheating. I was told the problem was a broken fuse (which cost $1 to replace). I was charged a total of $135 (This cost included $85 to run a computer scan, $40 for antifreeze, $1 for the fuse & taxes). I dropped my car off on Tuesday picked it up on Friday,JUST TO FIND OUT MY CAR WAS STILL OVERHEATING. I took my car back that same day and received it back the following Monday. When I picked up my car I was told that they did not know what was causing my car to overheat that it could be multiple things.I took my car to another mechanic shop the following Tuesday. Again a computer scan was completed.Turns out the thermostat needed to be changed. (Diagnosis, labor, plus the part cost me a total of $80). The problem was fixed in 1 day.SO TO RECAP I SPENT $135 TO FIX A $1 FUSE, DIDNT GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED, AND THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 6 DAYS. IM NOT SURE WHY THE THERMOSTAT DIDNT PICK UP ON THE COMPUTER SCAN SUPER TECHS CAR CLINIC RAN, BUT ULTIMATELY THAT WAS THE ISSUE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE. I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE A GREAT SHOP; HOWEVER MY EXPERIENCE WAS FAR FROM THAT!

I took in my vehicle for a computer scan because my vehicle was having trouble taking off and kind of sounded like back fire issues and when I called them at lunchtime[ my vehicle was kept overnight] they said they hadnt started on it and about 1:30 they called and said was ready and it ran fine but I could still hear the backfire but anyways they said computer scan showed every thing was fine so when my husband had time for it he found the pcv valve on the rocker arm had to be replaced and the coil and now it runs like brand new..i will not take my vehicles back oh and they charged me 102. and change for nothing and a can of carb spray for the throttle and when I asked about another issue it could be he said thats all we can do..VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER WHO WILL NOT RETURN.

Took my car here and paid over 200 dollars to have my car returned with missing parts from my engine like the manifold and the big plastic thing to keep my filter coverd. Their excuse when i called them was oh well we didnt think you needed those parts since you where surrendering your car, we will put them back if we still have those parts. They didnt even put a new filter or spark plugs in my car like i paid them to.

Just got home from the best mechanic experience Ive ever had. Brought my car in after it died on the way home and expected a outrageous bill because my car is foreign. Ended up needing a new alternator and battery... and though it was expensive I was very surprised with how fair they were. An employee called me before every single step they took with details on what they were doing and why to make sure I wanted to go ahead with the repairs. Once I came in to pick up my car I found that they had gone above and beyond. Part of my gear shift had popped off months ago and one of the men repaired it without being asked, AND they turned off the alert on my dash that said I hadnt changed my oil(which I had previously asked TWO other places in Lubbock to do and neither of them did), again after not being asked to do so. While in the office they respectfully answered all the annoying questions I had and they even agreed to inspect my car right then and there when I asked them where I could get it done. If you need any work done on your vehicle Id call this car clinic first-- and ask for Rudy or Allen!
