Mr. Bigham is so nice and honest with us. He will try and save you money if possible. We came in from Big Spring to get our car serviced and dont regret it at all. Him and his team have gone above and beyond what any other company would have to help us get my car running right again.

I am a single mother, I do not have any family out here in Lubbock. So it’s easy to get taken advantage of—especially if all you have to go off of is the word of your mechanic. Rick was so kind and kept me informed throughout the whole process... he was so kind with me!!!! ...and FIXED the mistakes that my last mechanic made. I cannot express how thankful I am for these guys and the awesome and prompt job they did. I will never go to anyone else. They have definitely gained a regular!

Great shop and team.I bought a 2018 GMC pick up used that had 94000 mls. on it and I noticed about 2 weeks after I got it that it had a vibration in the drivetrain. I have good friend that own a local shop that checked out and told me that he thought it was in transmission. He doesnt do that kind of work so I thought a transmission flush should be my first option. AAMCO is the only shop that does this service. I with Rick Bigham the owner and we agreed on game plan for this service. although there were a few challenges a long the way he kept me informed the whole time. This was a few months ago I wanted to wait to see how my pickup performed after afew thousand mls. The vibration is gone and my pickup runs great. This service for this model of truck is not cheap but the several hundred dollars it did cost is much cheaper than 3 or 4 thousand a rebuilt would have cost. Thanks Rick and to your team.

Very particular about having folks work on Gertrude. A burnout went bad when I pulled back to 2nd. A friend recommended I call Rick and explain what I did. I was really concerned that I had trashed my transmission. Must say that Rick’s team has set a new standard. They treated Gertrude like a queen and made sure she knew it. They even wrapped the steering wheel and seats. From recommending a tow company to the exemplary communication to the fair pricing – it was a top-self experience. Rick’s aim is to fix the problem, not unnecessarily rebuild a major component of a vehicle to run the bill up. That’s a stand-up business model and his shop is now my go-to place for Gertrude.

I dont like the FACT that I was trying to explain the situation of my Ford Explorer and hearing unprofessional, unnecessary talk from the guy behind the counter. I HOPE & PRAY THAT NOBODY WILL EXPERIENCE WHAT I JUST DID!! If youre having transmission problems and youre from out of town,. DONT EVEN BOTHER TRYING Aamco Transmission.

Lubbock Shuttle is a transportation company here in Lubbock. So safety for our passengers is our #1 priority. Timely service getting us back on road and trusting that the work was done properly is everything. We could not say enough about the quality of service we have received. The professionalism has been superb. We always know exactly what we need to pay for and what will need to be replaced and repaired in the near future. This is a family run business that has been around for a long time there is a reason for that. I recommend AAMCO to anyone looking for a place they can trust and be charged for only what needs to be repaired. We have multiple Shuttles that we need on the road and to be safe for our passengers. A wonderful visit everybody was friendly

This place is a diamond in the rough! They get to the core of the problem you brought it in for and still somehow manage to help the rest of the car in the process. My car came out better than it went in, not just back to normal.

I always say shopping local will get you better customer service and once again I was not disappointed! This family owned establishment has some of the most incredible individuals working there. I went in just to get a license plate drilled into the front of my vehicle and they treated me like family. I will be starting to go to them for all my maintenance needs. They got a permanent customer and know what they are doing!

This shop saved me hundreds of dollars and repaired my car better than anyone else could have. I have a 2013 Nissan Rogue and have experienced the same transmission issues that most Rogue owners complain of. Turns out that to extend the life of my transmission, I needed to have an external cooler added to the transmission. I tried taking it to the dealership first, which intuitively should be able to repair its own car, but they told me they would have to use to different kits, were going to charge me for both kits and labor, which left me with a quote of near $1700. I thought at that point I might as well spend a little more and get a new transmission.When I called AAMCO and explained what was going on, they told me that there was no way I should have to pay that and to bring my car to them. I did, and they used the exact same kits as the dealership would have, except only charged me for one AND went above and beyond by cleaning out my transmission (not sure what the technical term is), updating my computer system, and giving me a car wash. I was blown away by the service and when they charged me nearly half of the dealership quote for everything they did, I was so glad I chose to take my business to them. Not only that, but as a Tech student they gave me a discount and treated me as if it was their own student who was having car troubles.

I would definitely NOT use them for any of my vehicles repairs. I didnt much less say 5 words on the phone when he was rude and interrupted me saying he wasnt sure if he could help me with an estimate.

Our daughter is a student at Tech and her transmission went out in her Cobalt. So we sent her to AAMCO, since they are nationwide and have a great reputation. Our experience so far has been anything but great. They have had the car for 10 days and it is still not done. Everyday there is another excuse why they did not get the work done. Called our local AAMCO and they said this is taking way too long even if they are crazy busy. Also said they are charging a few hundred dollars more than he would--and they told us that was a discounted price because she is a Tech student. We are hoping the work done is better than the timeliness of this shop! Will write another review if work is unsatisfactory. Note: Daughter was to leave today to come home for a week before school starts up again and is stuck in Lubbock till Wednesday. Very frustrated mom here!

I found that this shop to be very honest.Went in thinking I needed new transmission but just needed work on my transmission.They could have just as easily told me that I needed a transmission and I would have just said OK,but their honesty saved me a lot of money.Would recommend them highly.

Got my trans flush and my radiator flushed in a good amount of time, the staff is friendly and i will be bringing my truck back here for more work, goos job guys keep up the good work!!😃😃😃

If I could rate no stars, I would! Rip off. Paid $108 for nothing. Brought in to have check engine light diagnosed. They did nothing to diagnose... Suggest to try a couple of things and wanted to charge an insane amount of money for an oil change and battery. We are leaving to go to another shop that might be able to do what we initially brought the vehicle here to have fixed. Its sad that the guy behind the counter will say we didnt do anything and still expect to charge for nothing.Buyer beware!

Awesome!!!! I am from MS and my truck broke down.... not only did they recommend a wrecker service but they also treated me like a valued customer!!!! As my vehicle was in pretty sad shape.... it was fixed and road ready in less than 2 days!!!!! If you need a good transmission (or anything... full service shop) this is the place to go!!!!!

Out of all the shops I have step foot into this by far is one of the dirtiest places Ive ever seen. Just stop up front on 19th street and look in the windows. The ceiling is falling apart and there is trash littered everywhere. If they treat their own property like this, I do not trust them to work on mine.
