Our family had a frightening experience driving on a road trip, hitting a large piece of metal at highway speed. Thankfully everyone was safe, but we had bent a rim and blew out a tire. After a quick tire change (thanks Illinois Tollway!), we were very lucky to be only 5 miles from Lexus of Rockford. They were incredibly accommodating, getting us in that afternoon for a full inspection. Eric was able to get a tire and rim ordered up very quickly, and they had it replaced the next morning, along with an alignment, getting us back on our road trip by 10:30. They went above and beyond, even throwing in a $100 discount and recommending a hotel for the night. Cannot recommend them any more highly, THANK YOU Lexus of Rockford for saving our vacation! :)))

I purchased a vehicle about 2 weeks ago from Lexus of Rockford. I first started talking to Eric, who was very helpful. I set an appointment to come look at the vehicle & I ended up having a family emergency that day. Eric was very understanding & told me if I was to come in later to ask for Michael. I ended up being able to make it that day, so I worked with Michael. I got there & the vehicle was waiting for me. I knew I was going to purchase the vehicle before I even got there but Michael definitely made everything go smoothly. Thank you!!! 👍🏻✨✨✨

I do not recommend purchasing a used car from this dealership. I bought a car from here and within two weeks of purchasing, the car wouldn’t turn on and the check engine light was on. I took my car down there and they had my car for 6 days before telling me they replaced the battery. Never mentioned why my check engine light was on. 24 hours after picking my car back up, it died again and the check engine light is back on. I called to ask why my check engine light was on in the first place, and they told me it was a bad O2 sensor but they couldn’t fix it. So they just chose to not tell me about it. Now I am again without a working car within two weeks of purchasing from this dealership. They show little to no remorse for you after they sell you a car that won’t start. Terrible business.

Today me and my brother we went to purchase the GX 2021 from them, the sales person was very friendly and try his best to help us and when we start talking about the prices we asked them for only $1000 off of what they asked us for which was $61k then the manger Mike came out and started telling my brother that we are insulting him?? What we just ask you for $1000 off of what you asked us to pay!!!! I never seen business manger like him ever in my life, he didn’t welcome us when he saw us and he didn’t intrudes himself to us. Again we went there to buy we never ever before go to a dealer without purchasing a car from day one. I don’t recommend no one to go to this dealer you will not be welcome. Mike Sartino you need to go to school or Lexus need to tech you how to talk to people!!!

Not only did he go above and beyond trying to find us a reliable and affordable car, he went as far as picking it up an hour away! Staying up past closing hours just to help us out. What a great guy & Lexus of Rockford is sure is luck to have a guy like that working for them.

As usually, Jeff, Bryan, and the service staff did an excellent job on my 2008 Rx400h when I picked up a huge piece of metal shrapnel resulting in a flat tire. I called them and quickly got results. They made a loaner available, got an exact tire for replacement, and I had my car back in a couple of hours. I have never had a problem with the service at Lexus of Rockford. They are resourceful, open-minded, creative, and do exceptional work! I feel I am extremely fortunate to be able to buy and get service from them. They are consistently superb in their work!

What a great experience we had with purchasing our 2018 Lexus RX350 F Sport!! This was our first Lexus purchase. Chris Beto was our concierge through this purchase and we are so happy to have been with him. Chris was informative on all of the features of all the different models we looked at. He had many recommendations and helped us feel comfortable with all the questions we had. We went back and forth on a couple models and he let us know what ones fit what we were looking for without being pushy. We did not buy our used Lexus here but they treat us like we bought a brand new one from them. We have brought our Lexus RX330 here for a new radiator and the second time for the 150,000 mile service and they did a great job.

Me and my girlfriend came here to look at a car we were interested in. Chris Betto was the sales associate and he wanted us to test drive the car, he even cleaned the car before we got there! We had a nice conversation, he wasnt pushy but he really wanted us to get the car because it was a good deal. After the test drive we went inside to get the loan paperwork. While we were waiting to see if we got approved, Chris bought us lunch! He was really nice. Later he came to give us the good news that I got approved for the loan. He was happy for us and he even talked to his manager to get us a good deal. He ended taking off $1,000! Thanks Chris for being so motivated and making my first car shopping experience a great one!

This dealership uses gimmicky used car sales tricks to try to entice visitors to make a purchase.I called prior to making a trip from Milwaukee to check out a vehicle. The salesman took a deposit on the vehicle and held it so that it would still be there when we got there.Upon my arrival the salesman immediately says Thank God you called, another salesman had a customer who was going to buy the car, but I was holding it for you.After viewing the vehicle and determining it was not what I was looking for, the salesmen stepped out of the cubicle and loudly said They are passing on the vehicle, you can sell it to your customer (It was blatantly obvious he had said this with the intention that we could hear it). Another salesman then placed a call. (Overhearing him, he called a customer regarding a completely different vehicle).As we were walking to our car, the salesman then came rushing after, informing us My boss said since you made the trip down, I can take off an extra $500. Ironic, as moments before another salesman had sold the vehicle.After this experience, I take everything the sales force tells me with a grain of salt. Of the 5 other Lexus dealerships I have visited in the past week, none of them attempted any gimmicks. I am disappointed with my visit and do not intend on ever purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.*****Please note, while the companys response is that the dealership sold the vehicle that day, I have confirmed with the dealer that this car has in-fact not been sold. They must have assumed I was a different customer that they tried to pull this stunt.

Both Michael Miethke, my sales rep, and Matt Jensen, the general manager, were really wonderful. They tracked down the new Lexus I wanted in the color and specifications I preferred and it was delivered within a week. In addition, Michael went out if his way to schedule meetings at my convenience even offering to come pick me up to deliver the vehicle! The car was totally prepped when I arrived and Michael walked me through all of the options available in my new car! I definitely would do business with Lexus, particularly, Matt and Michael again!!

Today I took my daughters Lexus in for the complimentary car wash on her 2017 Lexus. I pulled in and they took it back immediately because it was not busy. The young man stated that I didnt need a number because they were not that busy. I told him that my air pressure light was on and asked if they could check on that. He said he would let the manager know. I go to the waiting room and sat for almost 3 HOURS. 3 other customers came and went. Finally I asked on of the young men to check on it. He said he would. He never came back. Finally a gentleman came that saw me when I first arrived and said, Youre still here? I said, I dont know whats going on. He said he would check on it. Finally a young man came and apologized and said, Im sorry, theres been a mistake. We tried to give your car to someone else and it wasnt theirs, so we just parked it. Its been ready for awhile now.. I politely state, Ive been sitting here for hours for no reason? He says, Well, at least you had a relaxing afternoon. So frustrated.

Excellent explanation of what my RX400 needed to eliminate sluggish accelerator. Open communication is consistent. Never talked me into anything I didnt need. Ive asked to check my brakes for 3 years now and they told me no breaks yet. Typical shops would sell a person breaks every chance they could. Lexus of Rockford is a beautiful friendly customer facility. I trust them very much.

Besides my very first car when I was 17, every vehicle I’ve bought has come from Lexus of Rockford/Anderson Toyota. My most recent vehicle is a leased 2018 Toyota Camry and this was the first time I’ve dealt with the Toyota side, and that was great. All other times I have dealt with the Lexus side and it has been nothing but a great experience each time. Each time I have worked with Ben Bleed in some way. The first time he was who helped me with the selection and purchasing of my vehicle, and ditto the second time (as well as Chris Beto, who is awesome as well). I choose Lexus over all other make and models and one benefit was that anytime we are around a Lexus dealership we can have our car washed. Under that understanding I took it to Lexus of Rockford to have it washed. They refused to wash my Lexus because I didnt choose to buy my car from them notwithstanding the fact I did choose Lexus and everything that Lexus represents.I am very disappointed to say the least. I even asked what if I pay for the wash to which I was told I will have to trade my car in and buy one from them in order to get my car washed. This came from none other than their service manager!I will NEVER go to that dealership nor buy a car from them!!!

I was dealing with this dealership before they moved. I own a used 99 Lexus. Whenever I would bring my vehicle in I was treated unfair. They tried overcharging me 4x, but every time they told me what was wrong Id take it to another shop I knew, and they would point out what they would find compared to what the Lexus dealership would find. Ex. I took it in because of a very LOUD noise, Lexus looked at it, told me it was a problem with the wheel area lol, yea and it would cost about $759. So, I took it to my guy at my other shop. He tells me to come look at the problem with him and he shows me a tiny thin random metal piece stuck between the rotor and rim. I will never do buisness with them. Just because I have a used luxury doesnt mean I dont carry along other luxuries of life. Exactly why, when I finally decided to buy another luxury vehicle years later I chose Audi. Watch how you treat your customers.

Ive done a lot of business with this place, buying a few various used cars and sending in other people to buy new ones. Usually stopping in to drool at the new Toyota Yarii or whatever random stuff gets traded in while eating a cookie or something. But today I got to finally buy a new vehicle here, a bright blue Toyota Corolla XSE hatchback that I absolutely adore.First and foremost, Chris Beto is the man. Not just in this situation, but other times Ive been there as well Chris always keeps things real and doesnt give me any stupid typical salesman BS which is why I keep going back. Hes a genuine good dude. Thank you Chris.Ben Bleed in finance is also a no nonsense guy when it comes to getting stuff done. Hes done many loans for me and tries to do what he can to get me a lower rate. Thanks Ben! I know on this specific deal there was also someone else involved and Im sorry but I dont remember their name.I want to also thank Ricky Stout for going out of his way to making sure they found the perfect car for what I wanted (yes I know Im picky... sorry!) and Bob for being fair with my trade ins as well as our previous interactions buying some of my cars and looking at the auction specials in the back row.Finally, a thank you to Ryan Corey for working with me and being more than fair with the servicing of my various vehicles. I appreciate you making sure things are done correctly to my extremely high levels of scrutiny on my cars.At any rate, if youre looking for a new or used Toyota or Lexus go talk to Chris. Worst experience ever. Brought my car in for a minor oil change and routine service. Asked them to check my brakes. I was told they were due for replacement. So, I left my car over night to do these repairs.Long story short, I paid $900 for work done - one would assume I got brand new Lexus brakes. What they did was give me something else, within a week i looked at my sapossed new brakes, they were rusted. So I started to comoare my brakes with other Lexus acrs, new and old - my brrakes were the worst.I called Rockford Lexus, and was told thats what happens to brakes. I demaned these replaced with what I payed for .......Im not quite sure what they did. Either they gave me cheap after market breaks, or some other crappy brakes ........ After insisiting replacement, they finally did. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS DeALERSHIP!!! And, i will be soon filing a formal complaint to Lexus. They smiled in my face while they ripped me off. Shame on you Rockford Lexus.
