Elizabeth is absolutely a DREAM. She is so attentive, thorough, and kind. I couldn’t find a dress I loved, but found one I really liked and she turned this dress into a dress I ADORE. She is so helpful and was able to even hunt down a fabric that would match mine to evolve it even more into an absolutely stunning gown. She will even be helping me with my fiancé’s suit. Which is amazing to me that she can be a one stop shop for the wedding party. She is insanely talented and I only wish I had found her sooner so I could have had a custom by her! My wedding day cannot get here fast enough and I know I will be praising her name all night long to every compliment I receive!

Elizabeth was great. It was down to the wire getting the alterations that I needed, and she delivered. Also, the shop feels so lux and adorable. Highland cleaners was going to charge me way more, and I didn’t feel confident having my alterations done there. So glad I found and came to her instead! She is a specialist, and when I wasn’t quite happy with how the dress was sitting when I picked up… she fixed it on the spot.Truly professional 😊✨👰🏽

Elizabeth is simply amazing. She can take any article of clothing, whether it’s a wedding dress or a pair of pants and alter them to perfection. Everything I have had altered came out looking like it was made just for me. She is extremely skilled and talented and I trust her completely. She is so easy to work with. If you need something altered, I highly recommend her!

Elizabeth crushed it! She was very sweet and explained the process of what she would be doing throughout the first consult. My dress looks amazing! Not to mention, she made me a beautiful cathedral style veil as well. Can’t wait to walk down the aisle in two weeks!

Can I give Evenweave more than 5-stars, please? Because my experience working with the uber-talented Liz Crum was perfect. I first heard about Liz and her company Evenweave after attending one of her bridal shows. The show was held at the Conrad-Caldwell House in Old Louisville and there was just something undeniably special and ethereal about the line she created especially for that show; the dresses were elegant, glamorous and just the right amount of sweet. Her ability to harmonize the dresses with the space didn’t go unnoticed. As soon as I left the show I went home and wrote to Liz. I hoped that she could create a one-of-a-kind reception dress for me and incorporate our space (the Seelbach’s Rathskeller) into my dress, too. And boy did she ever. We met over several cups of coffee to discuss ideas and Liz was more than open to my ideas, she requested them. As an archivist I am obsessed with the record and history of things, so Liz not only let me keep her sketches but she also passed along the fabric samples for my files. I should also mention how cool Liz was about budget. From the start we discussed what I could afford and we worked within those limits. Liz’s understanding of form, lines, fabric and how they will all work together when on the body is spot on. I can’t tell you how comfortable I felt in my gown—and around Liz. It was truly perfect. Not only did Liz create a dress just for me, she also crafted the most luxurious veil for my wedding day. Liz isn’t *just* a dress maker. She is an artist. Her ability to work with lace and tulle was out of this world. Am I gushing? Yes, I am. Because the product is that good.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Elizabeth! She did the most wonderful job with my dress and made the entire experience relaxing, enjoyable and special! I absolutely recommend her for your special day!

Liz gave me the dream experience. She designed a custom wedding dress that fit my personality and vision perfectly. Not only did Liz make me feel special and comfortable, she also provided a relaxed and calming aesthetic in her studio space. I CANNOT recommend Liz enough. Speaking as a woman with some curves and shapes she designed a beautiful and flattering wedding dress that I didnt even know was possible!

Elizabeth was so great to work with. During Covid, my wedding got rescheduled multiple times and she was so flexible with working with me. Her studio is ADORABLE, and she is such a sweet soul.

Great work and customer service. I had two pairs of pants altered. (One hemmed and another pair hemmed and tapered from the thighs to the ankle). I used one pair for my engagement photos and the other on my wedding day. I dropped them off on a Monday and had them back by the end of the week. The only place I will go for alterations.
