Big shoutout to this shop and especially Chad. They beat every price out there. Even being quoted high and showing them, they beat the price and even told me I didn’t need all that was quoted at other shops. Being a young women, I appreciate them for informing me and not taking advantage. I usually go to the dealership for typical repairs but I’m glad I shopped around and found this place.

I have appointment for tomorrow for a FREE BRAKE INSPECTION. And I have taken it to 3 other places prior. I want to see what they say. Because the community is bias with the reviews. And I REFUSE to be done wrong..

I wish I had gone elsewhere because I thought they were higher than (probably) several others. Lesson learned. I think they did a pretty good job,;but not really for the price.

This was one of THE BEST places to go to for my brakes to be fixed. Mr.Tony was the gentleman who helped me so much. He was very, very helpful and informative about everything on my break system. Tony was honest and told me my brakes were not needing replaced yet. Ive been here before and have always been treated fairly.

I set an appointment online I came in 5 mins before was not greeted for 15 minutes. I said that I heard squeaking grinding and wanted the lowest price possible Im on a budget do to covid.After about 45 minutes came back I was expecting a 100$ to maybe 200$ but was quoted 370$ for two rear pads. Nothing was offered lower even though I said I was on a budget. I was there for three hours. No one that work there told me this. But the poor lady that was there since 11 a.m... said that they did not have parts. Once the parts got there after we had waited me for 3 hours her 5. That parts are here an they would be fixing our cars. They did mine before hers. All an all I wont go back to this location. But I will try another an see if its just the company way.

Charged me 210$ for brake lines that are less than 20 each at any parts store. And another 160$ to install and bleed brakes for a total of $379. ASTRONOMICAL PARTS MARK UP! I WILL NOT USE THEM EVER AGAIN!

Just had a great experience at this location. The appointment-making process was easy, and Jeff at the shop was friendly and helpful. After examining the car, they gave me three options to choose from, and explained each one thoroughly. Would recommend to anyone.

These guys are liars and cheats.I had one rotor that was rubbing metal so I knew it would need to be replaced.Cheats: The wanted to charge $150 for the replacement rotor (which is OUTRAGEOUS if you know how much the retail cost for a rotor is. They said the rest was labor- the part sides of and on).Liars: they wanted to replace the OTHER front rotor when it was perfectly fine.

Came in just to get brakes checked and Jacob at the counter was very helpful. When every other place was booked up (including one of their other locations) they got me in right then and out in about an hour and a half. Friendly and knowledgeable service that caught a problem before it happened.

They forgot to order the parts as I was sitting there. I was there for a total of 4 hours, 2 hours more because they didnt hit submit my brake parts. They did give me 15% off though.

It was not cheap. That said, they made the repairs. You get 12 months or 12,000 for the warranty of work. When looked at the receipt, the mileage was off my 10,000 miles. So, I would have only had 2,000 left on my warranty. A bit shady.

The shop did a great job on my brakes. Inexpensive, and friendly. Jacob explained everything that needed to be done in a way that was easy to understand. I recommend Brakeway to all of my friends and family.

Phone scheduler booked my appointment for the wrong location, fail.Took 4 hrs for them to even look at my vehicle, fail.Told me after 4.5 hrs itd be done in 30 minutes and to head on in. Upon arrival they told me it would be 10 more minutes till they got the right pads in, fail.20 minutes later they tell me they need a new bracket, fail.That was 10 minutes ago, location closes in 20 minutes, fail.Brought vehicle to Brakeway due to convenience and time (scheduler said about 1.5hrs), ended up not very convenient or timely, fail.

The guys at Bardstown road are very helpful, gives you great deals and different options according to your budget! Real happy with their service. They’re fast and gets the job done!

As soon as I walked in they were all ready to help! There was actually another constomer who even stopped to tell us how we could get a discount that one of the workers was giving out. Really helpful. Really good prices. Very friendly. And estimated time is very reasonable!

Friendly staff and quick service. Was originally going to be 2 hours to fix everything but ended up only being about an hour. Definitely recommend.

Good service, good, polite guys working there. They will, however, charge you full retail if you need replacement parts. About triple what it would cost you to do it yourself. So no different from any other brake place. Although, they do get you in and out fast, in my experience. Service and speed would be what most sets them apart from your average brake shop.

I came in with noisy brakes and the gentleman behind the counter was most helpful. I think his name is Kevin he took my keys and gave them to one of the other gentleman there and off my car went. About 20 minutes later my car was out front for me and Kevin said that the noise is gone, something about a backing plate rubbing and that my braking system was in great shape. The best thing he said NO CHARGE for today. He asked me to consider Brakeway when i need brakes. I will they are great!!

Very helpful staff. Informed me of what was going on with my brakes. They gave me a few options as to how to approach my situation. Repairs took a little bit longer than I expected however, I was very pleased with the end result!

Appreciate the integrity the staff practice at this location. Did a free check on my brakes due to making a squeaking sound. Told me that I still had plenty left on my break pads and did not need a break job.Squeaking was most likely due to rainy weather. Will go here for my next break job.

I recently had my brakes complete. I had an appointment time and it took them 3 hours after I was told an hour. Once completed I was told that the $159 was $210 because hardware was not included however there is a sign in the lobby that states our vs theirs and it clearly states hardware is included no exclusions listed. I paid the $210 because I was told it was extra because of the shoes on the back. They did recommend that I replace rotars on the record. I opted not to and had them changed the next day at another shop. The brakes were screeching from the time I left until I brought the truck back. They did replace them and when they were complete they stated that the brake package I got was not a high quality brake pad and for the type of vehicle I should have paid for the premium which was $99 more. Is this not something you should suggest on the 1st visit. I now have 2 sets of brake pads by this company and my brakes screech more now that when I initially took my truck in to get them done. I reached out to the corporate office on 7/18 around 12 pm and was told that a supervisor would return a call. I called again on 7/19 at 12pm to let them know I heard nothing and was told that the supervisor was at lunch and would call. Still no call I called again at 5pm on 7/19 and the supervisor answered to tell me that she agreed there was definitely a miscommunication but that was it she then stated that I could pay an additional $40 per tire to have the premium brakes put on the front. I have spent 5 hours in a brake shop for squeaky brakes, I then asked if she would like to compensate me for my pay for her staffs incompetency and she said incompetent I dont agree miscommunication I do. I would never recommend any of my clients or anyone in my network to go here. Horrible service, horrible supervisors and the product they offer is very low quality.

Charged 150 dollars even though the problem I took it in for still exists

Brakes were squeaking and front end shaking after repair. The service man was polite and friendly. He fixed my car and explained the issue with no additional charge. Great customer service experience!

Go to American brake center. Theyre honest about the free brake check they provide. Went to brakeway first and was told I had a broken boot, three stuck pins, and almost metal to metal rear brakes. Went to American brake center for their free brake inspection for a second opinion and was told only my rear brakes need swapped. Cheaper price too.

Car was in bad shape on a Saturday. Quick and efficient service same day. Highly recommended

If I could give a negative 10 star rating I would cos I went to this brakeway to get a free inspection and they came out telling me it would be 600 + dollars not to mention the guy at the front counter Heath was very rude as soon as we first walked in than after we told him to put the brakes back on and give us the key he got an attitude and it got to the point where he came outside the store and threatened to fight my boyfriend than proceeded to tell him to come back up there at 6 to fight ! This is the most unprofessional place Ive been to than I called corporate and they told me they were taking care of it well they didnt take care of anything than when I called them back they said they didnt even want our service and while we were in there this woman walked in needing to get her brakes re done cos she was just in there on March 6th and got her brakes done and they were already grinding this place sucks !!!!

Brought car in under warranty service after going to another location for brake work. Everyone was honest and upfront about my car, and even helped diagnose another unrelated issue I was having with my vehicle!

Dont ever take your car to this location. I cannot speak of other brake ways. I took my 2008mazda 3 in there. Not only did they forget to put two lug nuts on my wheels in which I drove all the way to Tennessee destroying the wheel bearings. They also did not Lube or grease or adjust the shoes properly to the freshlyground calipers. This ended up causing over $1,000 worth of damage to the front suspension causing me to sell my vehicle and purchase a new vehicle. I fully documented with pictures this incident and their customer service said they would get back to me and never did. Buyer beware

Bait and switch. Came in for the $159 package on Wednesday when they have the 15% off special. They then told me my brand new rotors (replaced about a year ago) were too thin to resurface and that it would be approximately $449 to do the job.This was after I watched one other customer come in with loose lugnuts from their brake job. And the guy who was quoting the information to me was mumbling like he was high on drugs to the point that I had to lean over the counter to try to hear him. I tried to look at the paperwork he had but it was written in gibberish and illegible.I just walked out.Extremely disappointed as I have used them in the past without these issues.

Went there this afternoon to have my back brakes replaced as I had just started to hear them grind a few days prior. Manager came back to me after initial inspection and told me that all equipment needed to be replaced and that the bill would be $381. Obviously only thinking that minimal brake damage/wear had been incurred, my budget was nowhere near that high. Seeking repairs from a secondary professional, i was told that there was no evidence that the technicians at this breakway had even taken the drums off to inspect the brake in the first place! I was then told that the damage was indeed minimal, and i would only need $53 for the cost of the actual equipment that i needed. Instead of paying $381, i paid $97. And now i know better than to think about giving my money to this chain ever again. Thnx for the memories.
